Rude and ignorant behaviour.. had a reservation for 3 (wife, daughter and myself) at 8pm. Made me stand for a table till 8:30 pm.. and one head waiter being rudely ignorant on my requests to give us our table. Had to leave without my dinner and staff didn’t care at all!!

My wife and I have visited this restaurant 3 times in the past month. On each occasion, we have tried different dishes. Every dish was of very good quality, high standard and delicious to taste. The Chicken with Cashew nuts in Yellow bean sauce is exceptional, as are the Sweet and sour Prawns Hong Kong style and Aubergine in Black bean sauce dishes. The staff are very attentive, polite and helpful. The price for the Buffet is beyond reasonable. There are a good choice of wines at reasonable prices.

I would usually give this restaurant 5 stars, however (unfortunately) it has changed hands and has now gone downhill. Apart from the fact that the new owner has no customer skills, is very short with his customers, seems really hacked off all the time and seems to only care about clearing the tables to get more customers in, the food itself has become very greasy and not as tasty. One of the dishes I had, king prawns in yellow bean sauce with cashew nuts was pathetic. The prawns were so overcooked they were hard and there was only 4, what I would call, large, but NOT king size prawns on my plate. Not great. The new owner is cutting corners with the quality of the food and offers poor customer service. People will soon vote with their feet like me and find another venue. A shame as I have been going here for a number of years...

Este es un gran restaurante con buena comida, personal atento y precios muy razonables. Yo y algunos amigos cercanos hemos comido aquí muchas veces, somos conocidos y atendidos por Eddie el gerente. Recomendaría comida china y dinastía en cualquier momento, no te decepcionará.

Visité Dynasty como una celebración con mi compañero, y en cuanto entramos en el restaurante nos recibieron con una bienvenida educada y profesional, nos llevaron a nuestra mesa y nos sentamos. El servicio fue rápido, no mucho después de que nos sentamos tuvimos nuestra orden de bebidas, luego nuestro pedido de comida, y luego estábamos en el camino. Habíamos pedido todo lo que podías comer, y créeme, no hay escasez de comida, puedes pedir todo lo que quieras (siempre que puedas terminar todo) no hay capturas ocultas ni nada, solo gente buena que produce buena comida, deliciosa y eficiente.  5/5.

I always hear great reviews about the food... but bad things to say about the staff - I COMPLETELY agree with this It is a "buffet" but you order from the menu and the food is made fresh and brought out to you. The table I was on however over-ordered (I do not eat meat so just ordered for myself). All the food was clearly not going to be finished and so somebody asked if it could be taken away and it was not that they were told no, it was the evil look they were given when told no. Which makes you wonder - what happens to the food that is not eaten and they take back? Like we saw a lot of food going back that was not eaten as people had over-ordered And the few times questions were asked you are almost looked at like you are wasting their time. Like order ONLY - do not talk

I have visited this restaurent twice now and both times left happy! Staff are very welcoming and attentive. We went at lunch time and did the all you can eat buffet. Which means you can order of a set menu what ever you like. What i like is that they give very fair portions it means you get to try a bit of everything. And if theres something you really enjoy or like you can order it again. One thing aswell is that it is very clean. The toilets and washrooms are the cleaniest i have come across in any restaurent. The aromatic lamb is amazing and they very kindly let us have it with the pancake rolls and sides. Also really enjoyed the chilli chilli lamb, prawn toast and salt and pepper wings. Its become our local very quickly. Definitely highly recommend it.

Had a great night, Food was fantastic and the staff are friendly. I do love a buffet where you order off the menu the food is so much better and fresher. The duck was fantastic crispy but melts in the mouth it was perfect. I definitely think the restaurant is worth a visit. I will be returning quite soon.

Not your standard buffet, all food cooked freshly as you order and tastes fantastic. We always overdo the starters and tend to be blown out by the time we head to the mains Price for the food and quality is really good

Wasn’t too sure what to expect after reading some reviews but we were impressed, Food service pretty quick even though busy, staff efficient & friendly, £21.50 for all you can eat A La Carte, Great choice and big portions, Well definitely return

Went there for dinner, loved the fried shrimps! Good for a family dinner, you can order as much as you like, just remember don't over order. Staff were quite nice, the atmosphere is quite good also, would recommend if you're looking for a comfy dinner with your friends and family, but there's only one big table.

If you like you Chinese food,go for the eat as much as you like option, £21.50 on Fridays and weekends this really is amazing value. Take you fill of starters but remember to leave room for the mains. Vast menu and all very tasty.

Ordered last minute dot com, as we were not sure if we were going out for birthday dinner. During the week days this place offers ‘all you can eat’ for £20.00, however we ordered A La Carte, and honestly the food was amazing, served hot and pretty much straight alway, it was lovely, service was very good and they were very accommodating with my children. Honestly can say, this is the first chinese Restaurant that I would definitely consider visiting again, as the food and service was very good. Definitely worth a visit!!

Sorry but didn't rate the food here.....dishes could have been hotter, food came up in drips and drabs......one of our dishes was given to another table....when they realised it was just passed over....cold!.....as for the Singapore Noodles seemed like they had just been mixed in curry paste. Not impressed and will not be returning.

The food in this Chinese restaurant was tasty and the service was really good. It wasn't too busy and there was no loud music to prevent conversation during the meal. An enjoyable experience.

No hemos estado aquí durante 2 años. Todo se puede comer por un precio fijo y la comida es preparada a la orden en lugar de estar de estilo buffet. Eso significa que la comida es siempre muy fresca y muy buena. El personal es buena y, como no estaba demasiado lleno, no esperar mucho tiempo para la comida preparada.

Hola, la primera vez. Almorzamos aquí hoy 12 de febrero, llegamos a las 12. 20 alojado hasta las 4 pm.

Fue muchos años desde que me había ido a la dinastía, y que han hecho algunas enmiendas a la carta. Nada importante, y ciertamente no a cualquier efecto negativo.

I have been here a few times and sure 1 of the female waitresses doesn't look the happiest of people at ANY time but the food is second is none I don't really like buffets because the thought of food lying there for ages puts...

Personal y camareras eran groseros y triste. Tratando de prisa! Se hizo muy evidente que querían que comer rápidamente, pagar y salir! Mala actitud que me molestó realmente. Nos trajeron la comida rápidamente y sin embargo bastante sabrosa. No es una gran porción y un poco caro.

He estado en este restaurante un número de veces y constantemente su uso llevar el servicio. Esta noche, nos hicimos un pedido, esperamos media hora y luego que llegó. Nos hacían falta una porción de patatas fritas y Chew mein. Mi compañero llamó para decir lo que faltaba y dijeron, bien nos entrega en el hotel. Cinco minutos después, el gerente llamó a decir que nos estaba engañando y tenían lleno el masticar mein ...

Se anuncia un buffer £15. Pero por favor, no creo que es su buffet chino estándar. En su lugar se puede elegir cualquier plato del menú y tanto como quieras. Es entonces recién cocinado.

Went for a meal on recommendation the all you can eat was not to be missed and I can definitley say you do not want to miss this!! The chef came out whilst we were ordering the starters and he was giving recommendations of what we would like .. he hit the nail on the head. The food was gorgeousley freshly cooked!! No 1 choice for chinese all you can eat!!!

As both a couple and a family we have visited the Dynasty on many special occasions over a period of many years. The selection of food is vast, always well cooked and delicious. The Staff are friendly and helpful and bend over backwards to help in anyway they can. My daughter is vegetarian and they will make any dish she asks for even if it is not on the menu. The restaurant is very popular and if you want to go at the weekend it is usually necessary to book.If you order a lot of drinks it becomes very expensive, but they are happy to supply you with water. You can use chopsticks or normal cutlery. The table is set with chopsticks and you need to ask for anything else.The staff encourage you not to order too much at once to stop waste, but are happy for you to order as many items and as often as you wish.My husband is in a wheelchair but, although there is one step to get into the restaurant and the toilets are upstairs, the staff are always willing to stop.I highly recommend them Dynasty and hope you enjoy eating there as much as we do.

We went there one evening hoping for a nice relaxing peaceful evening to spend at this restaurant as we fancied a good quality all you can eat chinese. As soon as we entered we noticed the staff's attitude, rude, grumpy, short and very unaccommodating.The lady came over and took our order, shouting and getting very angry when we didn't understand something on the menu or asked a question. She firmly asked if i wanted to keep my chopsticks straight away not giving me time to think, i said no but actually did want them so i had to go fetch another pair on another table as i felt so uncomfortable asking her for another pair. The lady behind the bar never smiled, infact none of them ever smiled once and the bar lady threw things into the bin loudly.When our starters came, if we ever wanted to order more she looked very frustrated and when clearing our plates she did it whilst we were eating and slammed them on the table; even once pushing food onto our plates without even asking. At this point we started to get rather angry with the service and stopped at this point talking with one another. I felt very uncomfortable in this atmosphere.Our mains took ages to come , and ordering more meals seemed like a pain to them despite paying £18 each for an all you can eat "buffet". To our surprise they had run out of the food we were after.Two of my friends were still eating and I wanted to check out the dessert menu so i asked for a menu, to the response of the male manager who said "you're still eating you don't want that" and didn't give me it. Then when my friends who heard this they asked for menus again a second time, to him bringing them over but not giving me one?? We then decided to see the desserts which came out straight away; showing they weren't made fresh. We could see that they weren't as the glass cup of which the desserts were in were completely iced; showing they had been frozen and the ice cream came out like a block... we had had enough by this stage and just wanted to get out.Overall I WOULDNT GO HERE, overppriced, average food and the worst service i have ever experienced in a chinese restaurant.

This chinese is a good restaurant to go where for a fixed price you can have anything on the Menu. The selection is great and plenty of food to chose from with good taste. A Great Chinese to go to with a group of friends. Only draw back is the parking but it is worth parking and a short walk. The restaurant is always quite busy and a nice ambience.

Valentines night is always extra special for me & my fiance, as it is also our anniversary. unfortunately it makes celebrating this special occassion extra difficult, trying to find a table in a restaurant on one fo the busiest nights of the year.We were stuck with our favourite restaurants fully booked, so we thought that a Chinese restaurant might be easier to book than a traditional one. We have tried many Chinese establishments in the area and thought of giving this one a try... we had been there, but some time ago for Sunday lunch.Parking can be tricky in the area, but there is public parking 50 yards down the road on the opposite side of the street in the Health Centre. At the weekends, when the centre is closed, you can park in the staff places at the side of the building which shortens the walk to the restaurant to about 3 minutes.On the phone we were offered a table upstairs, which is usually used for parties & private bookings, but when we arrived, we were shown to a table in the main donstairs section of the restaurant. The table was decorated nicely with rose petals in the shape of a heart.. a nice touch.The menu is much like a A La Carte menu, but it is a 'cook to order buffet dining' model, where you order what you like from the menu at a set price. For £16 for three courses, you really can't go wrong. the portions were just right & if you wanted more you only had to ask. In my opinion this is the best way to have a buffet, as the food is not sat stewing in a bain marie for ages before you get to eat it! They even managed to cook something that was not on the menu & did it really nicely.. Beansprouts and Mushrooms in Garlic.. Yum!The drinks are reasonable prices, although the sake we had was quite pricy.. it was topped up in our shot glasses throughout the meal by attentive but unobtusive waiting staff. We were also impressed at how quick our order was delivered, and to top it all, the chef turned out to be the owner, and he came round later in the evening to introduce himself and to ask how our meals were & to wish all his guest a happy Valentines!We already had our favourite top three Chinese restaurants in the are, but Dynasty has now jumped up to Number 2 in our chart just behind Loughton's excellent, but more expensive Wo Fat. We will definately be returning to Dynasty.. and there was not one set of shoulder pads in sight!
