Fancied an ice cream …the place was busy and friendly ….really nice atmosphere. The ice cream was good and thank god we only ordered one as they are big..!!

First visit to Dylan’s Ice Cream shop in Haslemere. So many lovely flavours to choose from. I had two scoops of blackcurrant, excellent flavour, very fruit and tart. Looking forward to trying lemon meringue next.

We both tried lots of flavours and they were all as nice as the last. Good size scoops too!!! Friendly member of staff - you definitely get what you pay for

Really nice ice cream shop, chocolate ice cream was amazing, all with a really clever way of social distancing as well.

I have been in here a few times and so far only had the Milkshakes, they are very tasty and the ice cream selection is always changing. I'll be back to try the other items on the menu soon

We live nearby and pop in year round to Dylan’s, so we are seasoned enthusiasts of this locally created ice cream! I was prompted to write a review as we visited in the run up to Christmas after their promotions of Christmas flavours, and were delighted to find chocolate orange, and Christmas pudding, both of which we sampled and were excellent. I was a bit torn as the other festive flavours were equally tempting, we will have to visit again soon!

It was a cold soggy late afternoon at the end of term. We had been asked to do something special with our grandson aged 5 years as all the family had had colds and short tempers. He chose Dylan’s. Ice cream in winter! A large black and white cow welcomed us to the magic of this shop. It was full of happy children’s voices, chairs were at a premium. We asked To join a table which just happened to be occupied by the family of a child in our grandsons class. It seem as though we had unexpectedly joined a party. Parent leaving the usual designed coffee for steaming hot chocolate with mountains of cream and marshmallows skiing down the mountains, Christmas pudding ice cream, earl gray tea that had its spout at the bottom of the pot. Then there were the games, colouring in with wax crayons, watching the wall Facebook like calculator responded to likes, unliked also changed the numbers. As we departed our grandson and the child from his class each invited the other to their homes. We went back into the soggy wet miserable evening. All that remains is knowledge that we never know when we will encounter moments of unexpected joy. Happy Christmas.

The ice cream is delicious, I had gooseberry, bramble sorbet and lemon merengue all of which were richly flavoured. The cafe is a real community hub, the staff are very friendly and the place was bustling with children and families. Places this good are as rare has hen’s teeth.

Sweet service, friendly smiles, plenty of fun flavours - my boys (and I!) love it here. Birthday treats, good behaviour treats or just a weekend treat... any excuse will do. Ben and his team have created a cosy little cafe here - well done!

Lovely ice cream and great service. The prices are also very good value and there is lots of choice. Can not fault.

Not good value for money. We were expecting lovely flavours but very disappointing. Small portions and not much natural flavours, I have tasted better. Will not go there again.

Having followed these guys on Facebook for ages, we finally made a special trip over to visit them and sample their amazing ice creams. They have a dozen home made flavours on the go and change the flavours constantly. A nice friendly atmosphere with inside and outside seating. My Bumblebee Ice Cream (chocolate caramel and honey) was amazing £2.20 for one good sized scoop. Also had a flat white which was well made and chased the ice cream nicely. The staff are amazing helpful efficient and friendly nothing to much bother other ice cream is delicious and so are the pancakes and the coffee and tea are definitely the best in Haslemere

We love Dylan’s for a post footy ice cream for my toddler. It’s a great place for all ages with such a welcoming atmosphere and commitment to the community. I love the changing flavours and you must try the milkshakes too!

Dylan’s is a brilliant business. Owner Ben and his team are pleasant and know their products very well. The shop plays a big role in the community life of Haslemere and is a firm favourite of kids and adults alike.

Visited with my family. Staff are super helpful and friendly. They are great with the kids and go out of their way to help and make sure you have what you need.

Just love the crumble ice cream. Several types of I remember correctly but the rhubarb crumble one was my favourite.

Absolutely love Dylan's - so many amazing ice cream choices! The staff are always lovely and great with the kids - especially Ben. The coffees are fab too!

I have visited Dylan's on a few occasions and always brought my children (and I think I would feel a touch uncomfortable if I turned up here without any children). Everything there is high quality and tastes fantastic. The servings are more than generous so if you order one scoop of ice cream you feel you have two, which is great if you are an adult but rather over-whelming for a five year old.

Good coffee, friendly service...can be noisy when children are around. Also the ice crean is one of the best I have ever tested. Well worth a visit.

I go to Dylan's all the time. Its always my choice when meeting a friend or for a coffee meeting for work.

Took granddaughters aged 3 think they should do a small plate for little ones I asked for less of everything but got charged for normal size could hVe just put one portion in 2 bowls not hard is it? Also floor was filthy

We took our daughter here for her birthday lunch , The staff made AMAZING sundaes - and hers came out with a Roman candle sparking out of it . Always spotless , always home made , a true gem

Friendly people with great quality local ice cream. The coffee is also fantastic here as they buy good quality freshly roasted beans and know what they are doing with them.

Dylan’s is a local ice cream maker of quality. They also have vans and the annual festival on Lion Green.

Shop front is rather non descript and you could easily drive by without noticing (it’s opposite the Esso petrol station) but it’s definitely worth seeking out. Ice cream is home made with local ingredients to flavour and a good range of soft scoop to choose from behind counter, from traditional to the more unusual - I really enjoyed the gooseberry (choose between cone or cup). A variety of sprinkle toppings are on offer or you can stick with the ever popular flake stick (hot drinks and sundaes are also served). Inside seating can feel a bit cramped but there’s pavement seating if weather’s conducive. In my opinion prices are reasonable for the quality offerings.

I went to Dylan's on a recommendation of a friend. It is not to be missed. There is nothing better than sitting outside on a warm day eating an ice cream cone - Honeycomb was amazing.

Very pleasant and relaxing, good service. They serve ice-cream with a home-made ethos and natural ingredients: our granddaughter loves it here. Small tables, a country-feel (noticeboard featuring local events). They do drinks as well as pancakes - we'll try those next time, delicious with ice-cream.

Their ice cream is one of the best I have ever tasted. We have been multiple times with friends and family before and they all love it. I only have a very little complaint, last time I went I had a pancake ( I have had one on another occasion and it was great) it was rubbery and not as good as last time, but otherwise I highly recommend this ice cream parlour.

Great place for children who like the greatest ice cream made by Dylan. All The usual designer ice creams available plus the more unusual. Also very good coffee for the adults!

my friend and I, who lives locally popped in for a coffee and ended up staying over two hours! The ambiance was lovely with customers coming and going. I had a crepe with coffee for breakfast. Will look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely delicious & good variety of ice creams & sorbets, as well as drinks, cakes etc. Family & friend friendly! Great service. Liaises regularly with local schools, businesses & events. Encourages young ones to do pictures etc. Thoroughly recommended.

We love Dylan's Ice Cream shop, the ice cream is gorgeous and there are so many flavours to choose from. Last week we collected the ice cream igloo that we'd ordered for Christmas (very tasty, ours had vanilla outside and caramel inside with chocolate sorbet penguins around the edge). That gave us another excuse for an ice cream 'lunch', we had an assorted ice cream sundae, a pancake filled with ice cream, banana and a flake and a couple of mugs of coffee, superb as ever. I'd definitely recommend a visit to Dylan's.

I work in London and travel abroad frequently. Yes there are better trendy Gelato shops or well branded chains offering exotic ice-cream. Dylan is none of these, It is a small local honest to goodness real ice cream shop. It is all natural, if its not available Dylan won't make it. The flavours are well chosen and cover everything you could want without offering 55 flavours so it is always fresh! Nothing has been sitting there all week. In addition there are often cool new flavours that Dylan is trying out. Ginger and Manderin, orange and lemon sorbet...ALL AMAZING!!!

Dylan's is a lovely shop where you can relax with a cup of coffee and an ice cream or sorbet, or even a sundae. The choice of flavours is always extensive and the ice creams are delicious.

I have eaten many ice creams from Dylan's and they have all been delicious. Freshly made from local ingredients, they come in lovely flavours from perrenial favourites like amazing butterscotch, creamy vanilla and fantastic chocolate, to seasonal specials like rhubarb crumble, strawberry, gooseberry and fabulous fruit sorbets, to kid's ices crammed with favourite sweeties and biccies. The ice cream parlour is friendly and funky, with other treats including great coffee for dieters (how could you, in a place like this?!). All in all, the best ice cream outside Sicily!

We have always enjoyed Dylan's Ice Cream, be it at the shop or from their vans at local functions. However, we had a terrible experience when booking them for our 20th wedding anniversary. Having booked months in advance, and chased them up every few weeks, on the day nobody showed up at the booked time, and the staff at the shop were unable to get in touch with either the proprietor or van driver. At 30 minutes late with around 20 hungry and excited children anxiously waiting, we had to dispatch a grown-up to Sainsbury's to buy Ice Cream instead. The van did eventually show up however, but with no communication. An unnecessary stress on an important day. Wouldn't book them again.

Love Dylan's , they serve great ice cream , and the chocolate sorbet is to die for , hard to believe it's vegan , it is just sooo good ! Super hot drinks served in mugs vegan options available .

I am a lover of ice cream and love to try new flavours and new sellers. I popped in the other day with my two children and all were very satisfied with what they got! It may be a tad expensive but it is hand made and totally delicious you need to keep going in as they put new flavours out. One of my favourites from there is bread and jam! Sounds disgusting but totally the opposite! My boy has lemon meringue with raspberry sorbet and my daughter had chocolate, I had honeycombe and caramel and biscuits totally delish!

The ice cream is lovely a.d so many flavours to choose from together with so many different sprinkles, etc. The cafe itself is small and often very crowded so we usually just buy the ice cream and take it away.

Whenever I want to treat myself, I always think of Dylan's, because the ice cream is so good and so convenient. I am personally obsessed with the coconut sorbet, and my first love, the honeycomb ice cream. I also thoroughly recommend buying some in a big tub to take home (I always have some in the freezer for emergencies). The people in Dylan's are so kind and we always have the loveliest chats to go with my lovely, lovely ice cream.

Dylan's has fabulous ice cream and so much more. Delicious and creative flavours made with well sourced ingredients, excellent coffee and teas, generous portions. My personal favourite is the chocolate sorbet, the silkiest, chocolatiest treat ever. It's so creamy, how can it be that it's also dairy free? Dylan's is a friendly, community minded business, a good employer, and a lively hub in the town. Top marks all around!

Ben's ice creams all taste delicious, the scoops are way beyond the normal size, and it is the only place I can take the kids without stressing out. In addition to the lovely staff, very good ice creams and super coffee and tea's, there is always a little colouring project for the kids. Oh, and some water for the dog too.And if you really want a memorable party, Ben's van can provide the highlight of the day!q

Dylan's chocolate sorbet is the best I have ever tasted, like pure dark chocolate in a bowl, delicious!! The icecream is top notch too , my kids go crazy for it!

I love going to Dylan's - it's a treat for the whole family, and the ice cream is delicious. There are always great new flavours to try, and the Sundaes are huge! But what makes Dylan's stand out is the friendly and helpful staff, who go the extra mile to help. Highly recommended.

Dylan's ice cream is wonderful. We all have our personal favourites. My youngest is a chocolate ice cream fan but my eldest adores the sorbets, with blackcurrant being her favourite. I can't say no to the chocolate sorbet, rich and glorious. The ice creams and sorbets are so good that we often grab a take away tub for mid-week emergencies.

We are very blessed to live quite near Dylan's ice cream, so visit fairly regularly. There are always a great selection of flavours and I've sampled many. My favourites include chocolate, the berry sorbets (raspberry is very refreshing), lemon meringue and rhubarb crumble. Staff are always friendly and helpful, portions generous and it's ALWAYS a treat to go. Ice cream is excellent value for money, £2 for a scoop, or if you fancy a treat an enormous sundae complete with three scoops, toppings and sauce galore all for £5.75.Well worth a visit if you are local or visiting.

Regular visitor and love the place - always a delicious experience. Generous portions and the flavour and quality is great. The sorbets are amazing, the dark chocolate one is something very special (super rich and creamy), but they are all good. My children (and any visiting family) are always so excited to visit. The shop also hosts frequent events / activities for children and is happy to advertise local events - a great set-up.

The best ice cream and sorbet! Great service, excellent coffee but most of all the ice creams and sorbets are delicious, all handmade with a selection of scrumptious flavours. If you really want to go for it have a sundae - amazing!

Our family love this little gem. The staff are fab (and ever patient with my girls calling them Dylan), facilities spotless, coffee good..... and ...... the ice-cream and sorbet delicious. Generous portions, nicely served, no worries if one would like a cone with sprinkles and a flake, one preferes a tub, one just can't quite decide, or an extra spoon for Mummy. I use Dylans as un-ashamed bribary up to and including blood tests and prize giving. A warm welcome seems to keep the ice-cream even colder.

When was the last time you came across a proper ice cream parlour? a rare treat! It's great to have this close by - it's always busy at weekends in particular and in the current hot spell there were queues stretching out of the door! You can get everything from a cone to a spectacular sundae and all made with their own delicious ice cream. There's also a limited selection for sale in tubs to take away. I particularly recommend the honeycomb and the lemon meringue varieties. Yum!

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque town of Haslemere is this delightful ice cream parlour serving the most delicious home made ice cream and sorbets and inexpensive too! What a total treat and one that I will return to enjoy again and again with my family.

Good old style quality ice cream and lots of rich sorbet flavours if you don't want the dairy. Choc sorbet is unexpectedly decadent! If you want to eat in, it's Ideal for treat ice cream sundaes on a sunny day. :)

This is a lovely little ice cream shop with friendly staff, a happy atmosphere and some wonderful sweet treats.

We came for post lent gluttony and weren't disappointed. The sundaes were great value and more than enough for one person. We're looking forward to returning just for the ice cream.

Dylans is now a big part of the Haslemere scene and is the place to go for a good work reward after school. They have even made the ice cream I suggested, the Mandarin with a strawberry ripple which is scrummy.

You just have to forget you are old enough to be great grandparents to a huge section of the many customers. Give in, forget calories, think back to the best icecream of yesteryear. Produced locally, local ingrediants - the milk is from 2 villages away from me! Taste sensations in a tall glass. Hence two ageing tucking into Rocky Road and Eton Mess Sundaes! The Rocky Road was chocolate heaven and a proper Rocky Road Experiance and the Eton Mess was sharp with real berries and great to the bottom of the tall glass. Was start of our Holiday and was a great start - rest has a lot to live up to! The place was busy with a never ending stream of happy customers, many who seemed to be on repeat visitis. Will we be back - yes - for sure and soon. So much to love here. I recommened to park a little way away so that you at least feel you are walking off SOME of the calories. I can say every mouthful was a delight and worth having to walk the dog further today! Do go, give in to the love we all have inside for great and REAL Icecream.Only tiny downside is due to loo, cramped and feels like in stockroom, must be tight for parents with little ones.

Lovely local ice cream parlour. The selection is very good with a varied range of flavours. Each flavour is clearly marked if it contains any allergens, gluten, egg and diary free options. The staff are also very clued up. Nice seating inside but it does get very busy! Worth the que!!

My daughter and I love visiting in the summer. The ice-cream is always delicious. Service is pleasant and quick and the facilities are comfortable. Looking forward to the sunshine so we can visit!

Fabulous ice cream palour with a variety of home made ice cream and sorbet. All the flavours are delicious and suitable for the whole family. There are also many toppings. Can also purchase a tub to takeaway.

Took the family here for milkshakes after school, great shakes, deco, atmosphere and very friendly staff! Great for all ages and the latte for the adults is the best around by far! We will definitely be back for more!

I went for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the place. It is relatively small but we were still able to get a table with ease. It is very child friendly, providing colouring sheets and colours to keep them occupied.Staff are very friendly and welcoming.There are so many flavours of ice creams to choose from. These change regularly. There was also a big choice of toppings to have in a crepe.Prices are very reasonable.This is a great place.

As usual Dylan's make some wonderful ice creams. They are very user family friendly . Even the local church St Stevens held a carol service there in December! They have an area we're children can colour in items which r theme fir the month so January was a chicken & then the drawing are fixed to the ceiling for all to see. Great place to visit & hope they find some suitable new premises to make more wonderful icecreams in soon .

Chanced across this place en route to our dog walk. Possibly the best I've-cream ever and sundaes that made the kids think they'd died and gone to heaven. Very friendly staff complete the package

Best ice cream in Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex possibly. Tucked away in tiny Shottermill, it has limited seating for coffee/tea, but it is the ice cream that is out of this world! (try the honeycomb!)Well worth a visit, bit difficult to park.

While on a 3 month visit to our daughter and family, we discovered Dylan's. What a find! Delicious homemade ice cream using local ingredients and fresh dairy cream with at least 12 original flavours to choose from. Some of our favourites included rhubarb crumble, Turkish delight, lemon meringue and Ferrero Rocher. By the end of our stay we pretty much sampled all the flavours on offer. A little on the pricey side for the cones but the takeaway tubs are good value and are great to have in the freezer. Definitely worth a visit!

Been to Dylan's loads of times as it is our granddaughter favourite place to visit for a treat when she has been good. Good selection of homemade ice creams .Hope they are successful in finding new factory premises locally .
