Absolutely delicious breakfast , in a very comfortable and cosy setting with lovely staff team. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful , i think it the nicest cooked breakfast ive had . Thank you

Paid a second visit to this little gem while on a short family break .The scenery is fantastic .The landscaping and arrangements of hanging baskets look fantastic and are a credit to the owner it's a really tidy / clean cafe/restaurant toilet spotlessly clean .The staff are both friendly and attentive the food is great and plentiful with a good choice .All the family ranging from 5 to 84 really enjoyed our visits I would highly recommend 😘

Stopped for breakfast today (together with my husband) having popped in the previous week for lunch when the homemade lasagna was a real treat. Breakfast today was of a similarly high standard, and served piping hot. Staff were so friendly - without being intrusive, and they play in big part in making this a gem of a place.

The cafe was lovely and clean well laid out tables and very helpful male member of staff who said only worked there a few months. I explained my situation with diet and he sorted out a baby breakfast without bread and egg as I have several allergies that was my first breakfast out in many years he also asked cook what was available for me for a future meal as we were hoping to go back with family but in the end weren't able. My husband had the full English which he enjoyed. 10/10

Went here for breakfast whilst staying at the Twin Rivers holiday park, Literally around the corner. My partner and I had a baby breakfast each which included 1 sausage, 1 price of bacon, 1 egg, 1 hash brown, some beans, a totomato and 1 peice of toast. It was perfectly cooked and filled us up for a day of walking. The staff were very friendly, service was quick and efficient and the cafe itself was very clean, tidy and well presented. My partner and I both said we could not fault this place, exceptional. 👍👏👏👏😃😋

We had a lovely welcome in to this beautiful cafe. It was bright and spacious. The menu looks amazing. I ordered a ham sandwich and a bakewell slice. The ssndwh8ch came on thickly sliced white bread, with plenty of ham. The bake well was excellent. I also had an oat milk latte. The staff were very friendly, can't wait to go back soon xx

I have only just come across this lovely place which was by recomendation after 30 years of driving past it and am just so sad that it is up for Sale. Just faultless in every aspect.

Absolutely lovely. The coffee was excellent. The coffee cake soooo fresh and the staff really on the ball and so efficient. I saw a for sale sign and really hope these lovely people aren’t leaving. They were so accommodating and because they were busy offered us one of the tables reserved for doggy people. The breakfast looked superb and so much nicer than the hotel breakfast we’d already had that morning.

The full breakfast was amazing and so was the poached eggs on toast, they also serve great coffee too. The staff are friendly and extremely accommodation. It’s a great little cafe highly recommend

Nice large tarmac car park. Lovely views. Warm welcome and nice staff. Outside seating available. Lovely food. Great service. Only downside was a dog owner who let his dog attack another dog inside the restaurant. This was after it growled and snapped at us when we walked through. Maybe only allow dogs in the outside picnic table area. A place may be ‘dog friendly’ shame they don’t stipulate ‘friendly dogs’!

So very dissapinted this time, we regulary stop at the Dyffryn on our way to Barmouth , have always had fantastic service and food previously, so it is with deep regret that i have to post this review. My friend and i called in as usual on our return from a few days in Barmouth. i asked for my favourite sausage and welsh cheese toasted sandwich but was informed that i could not order it because they where still doing breakfasts at 12-30 !while we where there the table next to is where able to order from the lunch menu, yet i was informed that i could not even though the other table had ordered from the lunch menu prior to us .SO SO SO dissapointed with this service , it really upset me and your service used to be so accomodating and we used to look forward to our stop at the Dyffryn , not anymore i am afraid. Been here a few times when visiting Wales and have often made trips from home just to visit and have some lunch. Lovely place, service is great and food is always lovely and really good sized portions.Cafe has a very good sized car park but can get busy during peak holidays and weekends but never had an issue getting a table.Visited twice during COVID and the cafe is always cleaned to a high standard.Always a firm favourite to visit and will have many more visits in the future.

Driven past this place SO many times and it’s been closed so finding it open was a magnet, had to try it...very pleased we did, enroute home Sunday morning from Barmouth and called in for breakfast. Ordered two full breakfasts with coffee, COVID rules mean only eating outside but the food and service was pretty faultless, the bacon is just delicious and everything very fresh and served good and hot, good job as it wasn’t that warm outside quite early with rain threatening! Slightest dislocation that the menu listed hash browns and there weren’t any but this was discounted on the bill when pointed out. Lovely food, good coffee, pleasant smiling service...what’s not to like.

Visited. The Dyffryn recently as part of a large group for a Christmas party and had a lovely evening. There was a great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. We had the Christmas menu and the portions and quality were wonderful. Although preordered the choices were very varied and catered for everyone. Our only criticism was the place was too hot for some people. When the window opened some complained of a draft and they had to be closed. Perhaps there was no need for the log burner to be on when. It wasn’t a cold night.

We found this little gem on our way to Porthmadog, we needed a coffee and whilst deciding we also went for sausage sandwich, bacon sandwich and toasted tea cake, all four of us were impressed with food, service and the cleanliness as it was immaculate, can thoroughly recommend.

My wife and I were staying overnight at Lake Vyrnwy, not too far away. We stopped here for lunch, having found the restaurant through Trip Advisor. The casserole and lasagna were excellent! In fact, it was so good we came back for lunch the next day on the way home.

Finally stopped at this cafe en route to Tywyn for a spot of lunch and it didn’t fail my expectations. Very clean, very nice staff and good food. Signs on road said cafe ahead and I expected a typical roadside cafe but found a great place... Sat outside in the sun and had pot of tea and toasted sandwich which came with salad and crisps... Plentiful tasty portion elegantly served by Amy and Erin... The cafè is set in lovely countryside and its flower garden was a pleasure to eat in..... Well above roadside expectations and well priced...

This café is absolutely excellent. The Location-cleanliness-staff friendliness and welcome-and the FOOD , well it is second to none. This café is worth a visit anytime. Service-quality and food portions are the best we have had a good few years. Very well done indeed.

Visited today for the first time ever even though I've lived here for years. What an absolutely fantastic place it is, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in until we left. Had a glass of wine and chilli to eat, my friend had scampi. Didn't wait very long even though it seemed quite busy and they are very dog friendly too. We will be back, maybe quite soon!

Have stopped for breakfast or just coffee. We found the staff to be very eager to please and always on the go. They are dog friendly when space allows. They do cater for coach parties so it can get quite full. The breakfast is good and they even cooked a sausage for the dog.

Driven past many times,today we dropped in , ample parking off the road, in to the cafe itself, the first thing you notice is how clean it is ,very well kept , greeted with a smile, the food was fabulous slightly on the pricey side 6.50 for a breakfast plus another pound for hash browns ,would of liked them in the original price, but the quality was excellent, cooked perfectly and a beautiful view , sadly it was raining today otherwise we would have sat outside on the lovely patio area, were definitely going again .

We had lunch here last sunday to celebrate my parent's Diamond anniversary. The staff, all very young were very professional and pleasant. Food was excellent and plenty of it, best creme brulee ever! Have driven past many times but will definitely call again. Thank you.

On a day out to visit the Pistyal Raeder Waterfall we decided to stop at this cafe for lunch. What an excellent place, one of the best ever cafe's been to. The lunch was superb in every way. With brilliant service from friendly staff to match who could ask for anything more. Will definetly be back.

We started a bit earlier for a day's visit to the Welsh coast with the intention of stopping off for breakfast somewhere en route. Having passed the Dyffrin cafe on many occasions and remarking how popular it seemed we decided to check it out ourselves. We were delighted with the cleanliness, the service we received, the quality of the food and the value for money. I had egg on toast - great granary bread used and two double yolks! The small cooked breakfast was plenty for my partner and he got three cups of (lovely strong tea) from the teapot for one. I had a very good cappuccino. We will definitely be setting off earlier in the future so we can call again!

From Entering you was welcomed, as the staff was very polite very helpful, you can take dogs in with a lead, the breakfast was the very best, very clean toilets absolutely spotless, would give this place 8 stars.

We were well in need of a break and refreshment en route to Snowdonia and were ready to take a punt on a roadside cafe. We didn't have any particular expectations but this place was welcoming, reasonably priced and served great cakes and beverages. It was busy but service was warm and efficient. The scones were light and moist and the flap jack very tasty and not overly sweet. We sat on the terrace in the sunshine, but there is plenty of seating indoors. Far preferable to any motorway service station!

Stopped en route to Aberystwyth for breakfast. Superb breakfast cooked to order and very efficient and pleasant staff. The overall appearance of the restaurant was clean and tidy and could not fault anything about our stop. Would definitely recommend for any meal as all the prices are very reasonable. I don't normally bother with reviews without having a meal', but Dyffryn has now become our regular stop en route for Welshpool/Shrewsbury or beyond. This establishment has had a new lease of life since Mandy arrived and from seeing the number of customers there today, we are obviously not the only ones who think so. We find it has all the attributes a good cafe must have excellent customer service spotlessly clean and always some excellent cakes to drool over. We'll be back soon.

Just back from a really fabulous Christmas group meal. Not a traditional meal as we each ordered separately. I really regretted not ordering the duck, until the chicken in a cream sauce I had ordered arrived. Absolutely delicious. The side dishes were delcious too, especially the cagbbage dish. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented .The restaurant looked lovely with lovey Christmas decorations. Lovely friendly and efficient service, and a lovely christmas atmosphere.
