Visited with family and were warmly welcomed. Friendly staff and tasty food. Their Tuesday deal on pizza and pasta made an excellent meal very affordable. Lovely pizzas all round!!

Das Lokal hat den Namen geändert, es heisst nun Cardo, derselbe Pächter, dieselben Speisen.Gemütliche tolle Atmosphäre mit sehr nettem Personal.Eine der besten Pizzen, die wir ausserhalb des Tessins je hatten, mit veganem leckeren Käse, den wir so in der Schweiz nicht erhalten.Auch die vegetarischen Tapas als Vorspeise war sehr, wirklich sehr gut.Empfehlenswert.

Had a friend staying over for New Year who wanted to go out for a Coffee. We had tried very local but they were closed so we went into Perth and to Duo. A nice coffee and nice and quiet for our needs.

First visit to this lovely little restaurant . Booking probably essential as seems very popular . Thank you for fitting us in on Friday evening . Delicious meal enjoyed by all of us . Would recommend the duck, Gorgonzola and orange salad . Great combination of flavours .

I have been here a few times now and I love it. The pizzas are not the standard fare but instead bursting with interesting toppings and they have always been delicious. The service is informal but attentive. If you like pizza you will love it.

The best place in Perth for real pizza, cooked in a big purpose built wood fired oven.

Good food, with interesting and freshly prepared pasta dishes. It is quite informal and open from 10am till 9pm. Try the sharing platter for starter but would advise you that for 2 it is very large. Last time I was there 4 of us shared it and there was more than enough. Macarons are a must with coffee.

Called up on Sunday, 8.40pm, obviously optimistic... Friendly girl on the other end of the line advised that I could in fact book a table!! Booked table for 9pm- absolutely delighted!! We turned up at 9.04 (late I know, but 4 minutes??) only to find.....

I was working away in Perth one week and checked out trip advisor for someone nice but affordable to eat. Come across this little Gem!

A group of six of us ate here and the food was excellent. The fish dish was delicious and the macrons for sweet were to die for. Will definitely eat here again, but hopefully with a more sedate and sophisticated co-diners!!!

Called in after early concert at Perth Theatre. A real surprise. Lovely meal. Excellent ravioli and nice pizza. Had to try the macaroons. Very, very nice.

Booked in for a meal while we were in Perth for a little holiday, were not sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed, the menu was great and we had wood fired pizza which was delicious. The meal was so filling that we didn't have room for desert but the macarons looked so good we got some to go. When we ate them later they were amazing. I would definitely go here again if we were in the area.

We have been 5 times to Duo and every single time we have left with nothing but full bellys and happy faces. Pizza and breads are the speciality, mostly sourdough based if I remember correctly. Delicious to the point of criminal, the pizzas are all...

Took a chance on checking out this small restaurant. Could not be happier with the service, menu options and the quality of the food. Will definitely be on our list if we manage a return visit to Perth.

As a family we've had Christmas dinner in a lot of restaurants. This year we decided to do something different & have dinner at Duo, Christmas eve. It was one of the best meals we've had. There was a good selection on the menu, the portions were decent & cooked beautifully. My Grandmother can be difficult when it comes to food & she was satisfied which says something! Haha.

Stumbled across the wee gem of a restaurant by chance. Cosy and full of charm. The pizzas were fantastic some of the best I've ever had.

Good quality fast food. If you don't have time to sit down and eat you can still enjoy excellent French food, coffee and filled baguettes here. Their macarons are wondeful and they package them beautifully (although you do pay extra for the box - I guess it encourages recycling as you can take your box back for a refil!)

We stumbled across Duo as we walked around Perth in the rain - prior to attending an meeting further along the street. Glancing at the menu outside the building gave us an insight that this was definitely NOT a fast food Pizza / Pasta / Italian cooking shop.

Random selection of restaurant from Tripadvisor and location, near multi story carpark, on our journey North through Perth. Lovely bijoux setting. Extensive and well priced menu. We wanted something light, so selected the Gourment Platter for two. Lost count of the different meats. Several different breads. All excellent. More than enough for a quick snack. Jana was an excellent server, even when I spilt the olive oil/basil container all over the floor! Thank you. :-)

I cannot believe I have finally found a venue that can change almost all their meals to be gluten free, which really helps. Amazing food and was enjoyed by all. Favourite part if the meal....the macaroons!

Fabulous food and a lot very atmosphere. Their wood burning stove. ( and a great chef!) produce perfect pizzas. Great coffee and we had their macaron YOU HAVE TO TRY THEM. - absolutely divine. :-) Do try Duo - never disappoints. Just need another her excuse to pop by again. They sell freshly baked artisan breads Italian juices. And just “ nice stiff”.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit. Duo was fully booked but we were accommodated in the restaurant next door - where we could also order from the Duo menu. Shared bread and olives then delicious pizza all round. Didn't really need dessert but nougat parfait was lovely - and could easily have been shared! Friendly, efficient service - will definitely be back.

Was on a long drive so decided to Stop off here for a spot of early tea,Delightful place , service slightly slow but wasn't that bad, Had a hot pizza (diavelo) could of done with being hotter but that's just me I suppose. Was quite busy fora Monday too so seemed very popular.

The pizzas here are absolutely fantastic. They are so different from your normal run of the mill pizzas. Full of excellent quality fresh ingredients. We have been 2 weeks in a row now it's so good. The service is faultless, the waitress a truly lovely girl who would do anything to help. Lastly the macaroons are so so moresish, keep taking them home for my kids who are desperate for a trip to pick their own. A brilliant place to go for lunch.

Ordered Pene Arrabbiata with chicken as opposed to Pene Arrabbiate with chorizo sausage and I got both!!! It was floating in oil and I did not enjoy it one bit.

Food here was excellent! I had the tetrazzini, kids and spouse had various pizzas, and we topped it off with some macaroons. I ordered a couple of bread baskets; wonderful! They make their own bread and desserts. One of the best meals I had while in Scotland. The service was prompt, professional, and very courteous. There were 9 of us ordering a plethora of appetizers, drinks, mains, desserts, coffees, and the waitress kept it coming without missing a beat. Superb experience, and for the foodies out there: definitely try this place.

This was the second time i have been to Duo. Have been to the French side of the Resturant Pig Halle numerous times and had exceptional food however the Italian side of this Resturant (Duo) had let me down.. only slightly. For the starter I went with the classic bruschetta, which was completely drained and drenched in oil to the point half way through finishing the starter I had to go and wash my hands as it was dripping everywhere and unfortunately had to do this again afterwards. Luckily the main meal saved things, the previous time I had one of the pizza's and without a doubt one of the best pizzas I've ever had. On this night I had the Arrabbiata Risotto which was incredible! Such a great meal. Was just a shame about the starter. Thanks for the great hospitality and main meal!

The food here is a mix of Italian and French cuisine. A great place to go for both a quick bite or a larger meal.- we had lovely soup, very good spaghetti, ok pizza- staff perfect

I've eaten here twice recently with my 2 year old son and both times have been brilliant! The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere for my son is grand! The pizzas are amazing and the pasta has been lovely too. The macaroons are also a top hit with us! Highly recommend.

We often order pizza from here as it is far less greasy than anywhere like Domino's. They have some good toppings and taste great. They're also usually quite quick to make them if you want to go and collect. And they do a good deal on Tuesdays - get a 2nd pizza for £1. Can't say bad to that!

Met friends to eat here. Nice surroundings. Good place to catch up. The food was excellent. Two of us had a pasta dish and the other two had fish pie. Small desserts with coffee were beautifully presented. Also seemed good value for money.

We're regular visitors to Perth and often lament the lack of "life" in the evenings. Duo was the perfect antidote. It is intimate, lively and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The quality of food is excellent - I braved the haggis pizza (yes, really) and found it a very clever take on pizza ingredients. It was fresh, spicy and full of flavour. Macaroons are a bit of a fad but enjoyable none the less. The mint chocolate one was a great way to end the evening.We also ordered takeaway pizza and the quality and service remained equally high.

Duo is a quirky little place affiliated with the adjacent restaurant Pig Halle. It's a blend of pizzeria, French bistro and Mediterranean takeaway, with a little deli and bakery thrown into the mix. On our first visit, we were looking for a small meal, so we shared two starters which were delicious and quite filling. We also found several very pleasant wines available by the glass. We returned two days later and again were very pleased. La Tartiflette (potato, bacon, Reblochon cheese, and crème fraiche baked to creamy perfection) was delicious, but probably contains enough calories for several days! It's best to pre-book a table, but were early enough to be squeezed in on both occasions.

Continental cafe feel and cracking food. Charming. Great atmosphere with everyone talking to each other. Really cheerful French waitress. Loved it!

I'm not a big fan of pizza but this one was amazing! Ordered plain margarita with extra mushrooms and egg. I regret I couldn't eat all! But I started with bruschetta- and that was the best bruschetta I have ever tried. Something simple but soooo nice! I didn't mind that we had to wait long time for food( fully packed restaurant )because it was worth it. And this macaroons... brilliant !Very nice and kind waitresses.

Lovely early evening meal on Sunday. Food choices excellent and delicious. Good staff. Very busy so a bit noisy but great to see the restaurant doing so well.

Among our group we had burgers, pasta and pizza and the consensus was that everything was terrific. However it was thought that the burger and pasta were a little over priced. By comparison the pizza at £8 represents excellent value and is without doubt the choice that I'd highly recommend . In my opinion it was cooked perfectly, being thin, crispy and importantly evenly cooked throughout. The meal was finished off with lovely macaroons.

Firstly the Takeaway Tel.No is Incorrect on website?(for delivery)Secondly the Opening times stated on website is Incorrect?...(for delivery)Fancied a Duo Pizza via Delivery for Lunch time on Sunday, sadly after 2 x phone calls "Duo",they stated did not open till 2pm (is that just for delivery?)Ordered just after 2pm, sadly did not arrive until just after 3pm (starving by now..) The Pizza was almost Cold, broken up in box, and dough was very poor..After a Tel. Call to Duo they offered a replacement straight away, but was still almost 4pm before my "Lunchtime" treat was eaten!!Was Ok but not as good as previous pizza a few weeks ago, (Driver apologised and mentioned the Dough??) I presume the same dough was used for my second delivery.Will not be returning for a while.

Absolutely fantastic menu and everything comes very well prepared. When quiet it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and efficient, however at times it can get very busy and then it feels a bit cramped due to the layout.

Nice little spot of the high St, I enjoyed the crazily calorific Tartiflette with melted reblochon but was less enamoured with the fridge cold salad of duck, Gorgonzola, orange which rendered it all a bit tasteless and freezing. Nice service, nice picpoul de pinet served by the glas, decent coffee too!

First visit to Duo - I've been to the sister/adjoining French restaurant, Pig'Halle, on many occasions. Duo is a little different to Pig'Halle - smaller and more informal but still struck me as retaining a bit of France. But the pizzas were definitely Italian - very rustic in their preparation and presentation - I can never see past a Sicilienne but was intrigued to see a "Haggis" and "Norwegian" pizza on the menu. Surpassed my expectations - but I'm still a firm fan of Pig'Halle.

Using an itison voucher we booked for lunch at 12.30.Good menu with some nice specials on the board . Warm and friendly welcome by a lovely woman who took our order . We were very satisfied with the meal and had some excellent Macarons for a sweet with out coffee . I would think this would be an excellent pre-theatre restaurant as it is only 5 mins walk away

Went on Friday evening for son's birthday - it was his first visit. Brilliant food, especially the Duo Burger which was cooked and presented perfectly and covered in Gruyere cheese - very highly recommended. Carmelita cake and macarons to die for, so much so it again at Pig'halle the next day!

This restaurant is super cosy and I loved the décor, it was very relaxing and the service was good. I ordered the pizza but it came very crispy (as if it was actually burnt) so wasn't the nicest. I would come back but definitely order something different!

Arrived into Perth and wanted to eat out somewhere handy. A particularly cold night for April so wanted somewhere cosy with a bit of ambiance as I was a business trip by myself .DUO the perfect spot Setting cosyAmbience in abundance Wiola was an excellent host Cheerie,efficient,attentive and helped recommend an even better pizza than I had first selected Main course fantastic and individual Desert even better Chef had done a wonderful job taking an creme brulee and making it special Full marks If I have any critism it is the very nice French themed pictures in what i would have thought would have an Italian theme .

We ordered to collect food one evening in February. I stayed home with 2 of our boys and my partner drove down with our baby, to pick up our order. She took our son in his carseat into the shop and collected the food, but quickly realised that she wouldn't manage to carry him and the food back to the car. One of the staff kindly offered to take the food out to the car so my partner could carry our son. Simple offer but not everywhere would have the decency to offer the help. Thank you so much for helping her.Also the food was great, we ordered a Calzone which was lovely and fresh, a 4 Seasons Pizza with 2 portions of Cajun Chips. Happy with all of our food and we'll be going back again soon.

Second visit to this brilliant restaurant. Busy but comfy and cosy. Tasty bruschetta to start. Excellent duck salad. Wonderful woodsmoked pizza full of topping. Superb seafood risotto with lots of scallops, shellfish and salmon. Good sized portions at reasonable prices. House wine very good.

Me and the wife got a takeaway and I can tell you the pizzas were beyond excellent served with hand cut chips that were amazing also and at just over £20 great value as well

Hidden away behind its sister restaurant duo should not be underestimated. A cosy little bistro offering a wonderful menu for a more relaxed night. The pizzas are wonderful and the bruscetta was delicious. Just a shame there was no room to try the macaroons!

Small restaurant with a very chilled out atmosphere and is lovely for couples lovely food and not overly priced

Visited Duo on a Sunday evening, the food was very good and no complaint with the service either. I was however surprised to have VAT added to the menu prices. It did not appear to state on the menu that all prices were subject to the 20% charge.

What can I say... The pizzas are to die for... my family enjoyed them so much that this is now the only place they will have pizza from.. just so delicious

Popped in here for lunch. Nice little place with good food on offer. Sadly couldn't get one dish as they'd run out. It had been served in their sister Pigalle restaurant. We are both lovers of the Pig so Duo was an experiment. Enjoyable, relatively inexpensive but not up there in lights. Will we go back? Yes. But not in a rush.

In our family it's always a struggle to find a place where everybody agrees on the choice of food. Duo is the exception - consistently great food, friendly service and good value for money. Love the taste of pizzas fired in the wood burning oven. Paula is superb with the kids and always has a good level of banter with them when she is in. We'll be back soon.

Always fantastic pizza, the best pizza in Perth in my opinion. Wide range of different pizzas available from meaty feasts to veggie delights all baked in a stone oven to perfection. Intimate and homely feel to restaurant. The desserts are also fantastic and the macarons are delicious with lots of fantastic flavours to choose from. The service is always great from staff who are helpful and willing to tailor pizzas to your dietary requirements. All in all, an asset within Perth.

We had lunch here recently. Husband had the Haggis and chicken pizza and I must say the haggis content did not account for much of the topping. I had the Montagnarde which had both gruyere and goats cheese so was a big hitter on the cheese taste. The base had just the right amount of time in the wood fire oven. I could not finish mine in one sitting and the waitress immediately offered to box it up for me to take home. The restaurant was busy mid week so I would recommend you reserve a table.

Avoid this place. Pizza was cold and had pitiful amount of toppings. Called to complain and was simply offered discount next time, however there definitely won't be a next time!

Found this little gem just by chance, I cannot find fault here the Pizza menu was by far the most interesting I think that I have seen this side of the channel, and as for value for money, well we will do the four hour and thirty pounds in fuel round trip to eat in this fine establishment cannot wait to return,as for the coffee well need I say more.

What a great place to eat. The French Onion soup was good, but the walnut bread served with it was out of this world. The wood fired Divola Pizza is highly recommended. I wish we lived closer!

Went for lunch with family. We had intended to go to pighalle but hadn't booked, and they were full. So the front of house walked us through into Duo. Glad we went, it was delicious! We opted for the classic bruschetta to start, which was really tasty and had a gorgeous pesto drizzled on top. Then I opted for the seafood pasta. Could not fault it, really well cooked pasta with plenty seafood in a really tasty sauce. Opted for a glass of house red, which was a really good Merlot. We also purchased a lovely rustic French loaf and a selection of there homemade macarons, which are to die for. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed!

I have been here a few times and I would firstly like to say my experiences here are normally very good. The food is good, pizzas amazing, tasty and fresh. Kids food great also. This is why I've put 3 stars not 0. I dont want to give just one poor review when I should have written about my good experiences too.However...... I went here for lunch with friends. What we ordered was nice, nothing wrong with it at all but then it came to dessert. I have a nut allergy which is not severe but I obviously avoid any desserts with nuts in them. EVERY single dessert on the menu had nuts in it. When I asked if I could have something with no nuts I was basically told no. The waitress did offer a macaroon as it only has almonds in it!!!! Perhaps some staff training on allergens is in order as it is now a legal requirement? I was also offered plain ice-cream but as I'm not a child (although I was beginning to be huffy like one) I said no thank-you, I will have a coffee instead. I ordered a cappuccino, not my normal but as I wasn't having dessert and everyone else is, might as well fill up on coffee. Coffee training also needed. What I got was a brown milk. (latte) Which I couldn't drink no did I want to. The waitress asked if everything was ok when she brought our bill and did say if I had told her he's coffee wasn't right she would have made another but by that time I just wanted to leave. I left here thoroughly disappointed and thinking I would go back for a pizza but nothing else which is a shame.

Gorgeous little place tucked away in Perth. Taken there by friends and reputation lived up to expectations. The specials board boasted superb dishes and the Ravioli i ordered did not disappoint. All dishes cooked to perfection and a very nice wine list with choices of wine glass sizes for drivers and passengers alike. Loved it here- busy and nice, cosmopolitan vibe. Will definitely return next time i am in Scotland.

Typical favourite for me is the pizzas, always fresh and tasty and with the best ingredients. On tonights occasion I ordered pasta with some macarons as a nice treat for myself and my girlfriend. Moments later I had a call from Duo to inform me that 3 of the 4 macarons I had ordered were unfortunately out of stock, but that if there were any other flavours they did have in stock I could choose those instead. I wasn't overly fussed so I asked if he might just pick ones he though best, so he did and even threw in a few on the house to apologise. Lovely food and customer service, always been very happy with both!

Whilst away on business some colleges took me for dinner here and it was amazing. Such a quant little place beautifully decorated I was impressed on walking in. For starter I had sweet potato and chilli soup which was delicious. For main I had the pizza of the day, chicken, onion, mushrooms and chilli again very tasty, and large great value for money. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon blanc which was very nice. The service was good not too over powering just right. It's great value for money with very tasty food and great ambiance.

Duo pizzas are fantastic. Nothing else needs to be said. However tripadvisor apparently requires a minimum 100 characters in a review.

Lovely little restaurant tucked round the corner from its sister restaurant Pig'halle. Started with fish soup, which was a bit watery and gritty. Moved on to a meat feast pizza, which was made to order and very tasty. Polite, efficient service with a smile, would go back for more!

Sometimes less is more and in the case of Duo that is what has been achieved.Small simple cosy setting serving good food quickly and for a reasonable prise - friendly staff were efficient and atentive without being intrusive so thst is all good.Its not really French or Italian a bit of both - thats not a problem but pethaps thats where the 5th star has gone - yes its good but it could be really good and with attention to detail such as replacing the large sticky wine menu / a bit of hi level dusting of light shades and some thought to positioning of tables and chairs to avoid bumping fellow diners then Duo has the makings of a really good venu.

Second attempt at takeaway after a first time fail and half of the toppong is missing. Very disappointed as have always enjoyed the food in the restaurant.

We have visited Duo 2Go twice recently, and on both occasions have had a really good lunch. The menu is extensive and varied, prices are great value, staff very pleasant, and the quality of the food excellent. There is limited seating as the main aim here is takeaway meals. Pizzas are made fresh in front of you, and all the other food freshly made in the kitchen that you can see from the front seating area. There is a servery area where the salads and sandwiches and coffee are made to order. The special of their home made chicken burger is great value and very tasty, served with their brilliant home made chips! A great place for lunch!

Had lovely lunch, great pizza (try the Skinny) and inlaw had giant prawns. Everyone loved the macarons. Only downside is for some reason the acoustics were terrible so it was a bit difficult to chat easily.

The pizzas are always exceptional every time we're here. Having just spent 5 weeks in Italy, I wasn't sure if I'd be as impressed as usual...but I shouldn't have feared - delicious as always. Even just reading through the extensive menu, it's almost impossible not to indulge! Thanks Duo staff for keeping the quality so high!

Had a lovely dinner on a Sunday evening. We were greeted and brought to our table. Restaurant is small but very cosy with a relaxed atmosphere. Ordered bruschetta (standard but nice) and scallops as a starter. Nice start of the meal. The pizzas followed and were amazing!! Took home a few macaroons and they were equally tasty. Very reasonable prices too. We will return!

Both food and service excellent, we walked in for a takeaway order. A small misunderstanding with our order meant our garlic bread was missed, but it was ready to go (on the house!) in no time at all, along with 5 complimentary macarons! Fantastic customer service. This was my first visit and I'll definitely be returning, the food is delicious, fresh and great value for money. This isn't like takeaway food, it's real food! Looking forward to going back for a lunch time deal.
