19/03/24: Works Do. Had a fab time. Great choice or craft ale on tap and in the fridge. Upstairs was partly closed off this time and was unable to sit in the front room. 01/05/23: quaint, funky, real ale bottle shop/bar. One of my favourite bars in Hebden Bridge!

The greatest little bar with the most beautiful and fun gigs - come down on a gig night and feel part of a secret community of joy! LOVE this place.

My favourite bar in HB. Staff always helpful and chatty. Always amazing beer on, and the fridges are well stocked with amazing cans. Liz and the team are great.

I visited drink today to buy Christmas presents. The atmosphere was not very Christmassy! We greeted by a very grumpy liz who, when we asked if her name was liz said that was a breach of GDPR. She then preceded to be rude and not thankful of our business. However, there was a younger lady who seemed to be doing most of the work, she was extremely helpful.

First time in Hebden Bridge yesterday and we dropped in to Drink prior to seeing Michael Head play at the Trades Club. There is a superb range of drinks here, there's something good for everyone's taste. However, what made it really rather special were the staff. We got a very warm welcome from Liz (I think!) and her colleague Ginny was absolutely brilliant with her knowledge of the beers available. I can't recommend this place highly enough, we will definitely be returning.

We visited here yesterday. Everything and everyone was absolutely top class. I had the BEST Hot Toddy with Rum, that I've ever tasted in my life! Thank you so much!

Since moving to Hebden this has become our go to bar. Firstly the selection of beers is difficult to find elsewhere, being independent means they stock an absolutely fabulous choice whether it be keg, cask or bottles/cans. In addition there is some fabulous choice of rare beers, meads and wine….. not cheap but the quality speaks for itself. The staff are fab, but wear their heart on their sleeves. Ultimately this is a place to drink some fab beers and socialise. Get in there and enjoy the drink and atmosphere.

You can take your fish and chips in from local chippy.

Lively spot that's good for a beer and a relax to the music. Who still plays Vienna these days? Good beers on tap as well as bottles and tinnies.

What a gem. Excellent choice of cask, keg, can and bottle. If you're not sure ask Liz the owner. She has a wealth of knowledge about the industry.

Tiny bar shoved at the back of this bottle shop. Rude bar staff made us feel unwelcome. Reclaimed furniture, tatty lacking originality. Plenty of alternative friendly bars to visit which is what we spent our afternoon popping into for both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Lovely casual atmosphere at this craft beer place, extra seating upstairs so don't be put off if downstairs is full. Lots of different, really interesting beers to try - hard to choose what to have! Also bought some to take away.

Went in to buy an expensive can and to have a quick half. Have always found there to be decent premium pale ales here (though not as many as previously). Had a little communication issue, nothing intentional (over whether I was drinking in or not) and the lady serving was extremely rude. Granted you can be having a bad day, or find a customer irritating, but you should never be rude and make them feel uncomfortable. Definitely won’t be going in again.

Can’t recommend Drink? highly enough. Great selection of intriguing beers, friendly and knowledgeable staff who made us feel very at home, quirky but not over-the-top decor (love the old bus seats!) - perfect. You’re allowed to bring in a takeaway as well, and the staff gave us plenty of recommendations (opted for a pizza from Woody’s, which was also superb). Definitely one of the highlights of an enjoyable camping weekend in Hebden Bridge. If you’re in town make sure you pay them a visit!

Have a lot of love for this place. Our number one choice for a drink. Love how we can get a takeaway and eat while we drink, which is great after a long day at work. Atmosphere always nice, love the lighting. I’m not a big drinker so I always ask and receive helpful suggestions as well as being able to sample before buying. Very generous! 10/10

I've been only twice since the gentleman from Barnsley sold up. Both times I've been spoken down to. The beers are all about 20/25% more than most other outlets selling the same products. This I don't mind. It's the rudeness that I cannot abide though. Last time I was in I asked for a paricular Vocation beer. I was met with 'we don't serve supermarket beers'! The lady then went into a monologue about which sort of beers I ought to be drinking, although if I'm honest, I didn't really hear as I simply wasn't listening. Shame really as it used to be really good in there.apparently she's selling up though, so hopefully things will improve. Customer service skills - zero Politeness - zero Beer - good (even the 'supermarket' ones she doesn't realise she has which was the ridiculous irony)

Fantastic craft ale shop and tap room. Cans and bottles from the fridge can be bought and consumed on the premises without an additional opening fee.

Best micro pub in Hebden Bridge. Large and unique selection of beers, and a very friendly vibe

Bar staff - seemingly the owner - extremely dismissive about what was clearly a gone-off drink, and then compounded it by loudly used the f-word while small children were in the bar. Can't give no stars so 1 star.

Quirky seventies retro look cafe bar. Full of character and atmosphere. Range of local beers and drinks choices. Fitting for this cute village, a definite place to pause!

Great little bar for craft beers with a nice touch of bring your own food. A few beers on draft, but also several drinks fridges with huge selection of craft beers from around the world that you can drink in or take away. Limited seating downstairs leading to small bar area, but there's more seating upstairs.

A really lovely place to buy beers and have a beer. More like a Cafe than a bar, it's bright and friendly. Great staff who are interested and knowledgeable. Cool, without being intimidating. There's a huge range of all styles of beer. A nice place to hang out and chat. The toilets are immaculate, too.

Friendly unpretentious small bar and bottle shop to drink in or take away. Knowledgeable staff who don’t patronise you. Excellent music but not overpowering so you can still chat without shouting, and no tv’s. An ever changing cask and keg list and a good mix of locals and tourists (many of whom come to Hebden just for this place). No Stella or John Smiths but there’s other pubs for that. Highly recommended

Came to Hebden for the day for the sole purpose of visiting hebdens own vocation bar. On searching Google for other craft beer places I came across this. With all due respect to vocation which we enjoyed I loved Drink and wish we had spent the majority of our time here instead. Great selection of beers on tap and a massive selection of drink in and takeaway beers of both craft fare but also german and Belgian beers. The place had character and personality and the whole place having a great less sterile and more personal vibe to it with good music playing. Had a loverly chat with the owner (liz I believe?)who knew her stuff. She was lovely and chatty and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will deffo be back and if you're in hebden be sure to check our this more hidden treasure away from the main street.

Lovely little quirky place. Lots on offer in the fridges and on draft and the lovely lady behind the bar is full of knowledge for whatever your needs are. You can order food in, and they will even beer match for you! Can't rate this place higher. You'll stay here for hours and not regret it!

Fantastic independent bar and bottle shop, selling the best beers and wines from the local area and far beyond. With the funkiest toilets you’ve ever seen. Great knowledgeable staff, so much more fun now it’s under new management. Love it. See you there. I’ll be the grumpy one in the arm chair.

Called in here on Saturday for a quick pint and ended up staying for 6 Hours. Firstly the beer is many and plenty and very good. But also the staff are great and the owner keeps you entertained with her natural quirky style. Great to be in a place where old style banter is alive and kicking and bar staff engage with their customers. (also know their beers).They duo not sell food just new age snacks which we were given a packet to try but you are allowed to take your own food in (if you ask of course). Had we known we wouldn't have booked a table elsewhere.Wish this was my local. Hebden Bridge has a gem here and hope she does well.

Called in during lock down to buy beer and completely unaware it was a bar also. Called in yesterday with my son and discovered an absolute gem. Best bar in Christendom! Beedel

Such a cool bar, friendly staff and amazing big selection of beers. (Great selection of vegan snacks too.) Perfect place to go to after a long walk for a nice relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Menu was extensive and could have been better to look and find out what was available.There was plenty on offer and I didn’t seem to think having beers outside of a fridge was a good idea. Staff ok. It could Hama be been more welcoming. Seemed to want you to order straight away.

This place is exceptional. A beer choice we've never seen rivalled and my other half is a brewer so we see a lot of beer bars! Two of the fantastic and knowledge staff took the time to chat away to us - as a woman, it's so great to see women leading the charge in a man heavy industry. If you haven't been yet...go!

This is one of my regular favourites. Hebden Bridge has a lot of choice when it comes to pubs and bars but this place has by far the best selection of beer in town and is always reasonably priced, whether it's a lager, an IPA, a sour, a stout etc. There are regularly changing cask and keg lines to. There is plenty of seating across two floors and you can bring in your own food to eat from one of the local market stalls or a nearby takeaway if you like. The staff are welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable - if you tell them the kinds of beer you like they'll be able to point you to something friendly that you've never tried before.

I regularly use Drink for all my take-out beers and cans. They have a vast selection and knowledge of beers.

What an amazing place! We always try and visit when in Hebden Bridge. There is a great range of ales and a well stocked range of take away beers, all housed in a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. The staff are amazing and always make us and our little dog feel so welcome!

Is a fantastic shop and when we aren't in a pandemic it's also a fantastic bar: but it's so much more.Hebden would be missing something if Drink? wasn't there.The owner is fantastic, knows ALL THINGS about beer and is a bloody good egg.If you want to buy a beer in the Calder Valley, go to Drink? and make yourself happy.

Excellent service and knowledge from the owner. The perfect place for your new favourite tipple. Hebden is such a unique little town to visit and with shops like this it's not hard to see why.

This shop has an incredible selection of beers, many of them local. They have thoughtfully sorted the beers by type and put them by section, so you don’t even have to spend time looking at beers you won’t like. The service was fab and I really appreciated them reusing plastic bags.

Cool little bar. Downstairs more convivial than upstairs, which feels a bit like a sitting room. Bit on the pricey side but central Hebden on the main road. Good choice of beer.

Such a shame the barman here was so miserable, verging on rude - didn't interact with any of the customers, barely spoke to us when ordering (the fantastic beer) in fact he just rudely grunted to the list of (great) beers on the wall, sarcastically stating they were in large print for me....hadn't even asked what they had yet! If you don't mind not being welcomed - the beers are great, they keep a clean line and have a nice choice .

Martin, who founded Drink?, has just left so time for a review. I've drunk here since it re-opened after the floods. The beer has been fantastic, I've learned everything I know about beer from here. It took time, but a cracking pool of nice people drink here now and the atmosphere is excellent and welcoming. There is and have been some cracking beers on tap and in cans and bottles, especially from smaller or lesser known breweries which Martin has researched and brought north. Martin has now left, which is sad as this the easily best bar I've been a regular at. If the new owner builds on what Martin has achieved, she will not go far wrong.

Extensive bottle/can selection (although some a bit pricey). Good range available on draft - 2 cask and 4 keg. Liked the decor (trendy industrial?) and the can art on display via the open bottle shop shelves.

A decent little bottle shop with a small bar that offered cask and keg. All were well kept and there is just enough seating for the small groups who wander through. Nice addition to the more traditional pubs in town

Well, well, well.Me and my lovely girlfriend were only too happy to find this small, cosy craft beer bar in the heart of beautiful Hebden Bridge, on a rainy Saturday. The perfect place to while away a few hours.Alas...The place lacked atmosphere as there was no music on the PA. Weird to sit in an empty place (we were the only customers for much of the time) with no music at all. I mean, we were having a great time talking to each other, but music really helps to bring a place alive.But that wasn't the worst bit.The man serving behind the bar was an unfriendly miserable guy. That's ok, maybe he wasn't having a good day but, judging by previous reviews, he seems to be like this quite often, very comfortable in his miserable unfriendly self.To be honest, it wasn't a pleasurable experience, and if I don't feel like a valued customer - why should I ever bother visiting it again? I probably won't.My advice: if you're considering going there - don't. Just insult a stranger on the street, and get slapped in the face. I guarantee it'll be a more satisfying experience, and well cheaper.And if you own this business: get your act together and act nicer to customers, or go and find a more suitable trade. One that doesn't involve human interaction, preferably.

A wonderful friendly beer shop and bar. Great range of constantly changing keg and cask ales from session to serious served by a barman with beer knowledge that's second to none. Definitely the bar with the most soul in Hebden Bridge.

Turned away at 8.57. Last orders meant to be 9. Pee'd off! Probably wont come again. Would have loved to have tried the beers on offer otherwise.

Every Saturday I am going there to have 2 pints or so. Indeed I love the Ales from Drink?. I cannot find any similar ales anywhere else. Martin (the owner)also is a very lovely and great gentleman. I am another happy customer
