The food was made fast and the portion sizes were really decent and it was best the Chinese food ever.

It was lovely to have a meal from here I really enjoyed it 😀

Ordered through just eat, waited over two hours, contacted restaurant after time due had elapsed… to be put on hold for 7 mins, while counter girl served other people, then to be told the printer didn’t have the order.

I ordered a delivery meal it was delicious and great value for money it was also lovely to receive the prawn crackers and fortune cookies as a little extra, the delivery driver was very nice and friendly, I would definitely order from this restaurant again.

Nice Chinese first time trying only downside was cash only, don’t think 10% discount was taken off as advertised on the menu

Just had best Chinese curry I’ve ever eaten. I asked for my chicken curry to be Spicy and was not disappointed. Chips were lovely too.

So have ordered from here a few times and I honestly can’t make my mind up as some times the food is really good and other times it’s below average. I’m unsure if they have changed their kitchen staff a few times or if it’s the same people but the dishes you order are so different ever time that you never really get the same dish even if ordering the same thing. I would also so to anyone who has allergies to be very careful. A few times we’ve ordered dishes they have turned up with nuts or other allergens in them that don’t show on their menu

One of the best Chinese in ek and theres tough competition for the title so thats not a throw away comment, salt and chilli chips are amazing, usually get a variety of classic stuff and it's always great quality, not too greasy and nice flavour, the gravy is the best iv ever had from a Chinese. Ribs are good, never fatty. Chow mein and chicken fried rice very good as is the sweet and sour. Always very fast with delivery as well, highly reccomend

I thought I would try this takeaway for the first time. I ordered the chilli and salt spare ribs and prawn crackers. I used just eat. The food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. Please do not be fooled by the pictures on the website. The picture showed ribs with onions, peppers and spring onion. I received ribs with one very small sliver of yellow pepper, lots of onions and no spring onion at all. The ribs were tasty enough but not very meaty. The prawn crackers were crispy and very tasty. I do not like to leave poor reviews on food sites as taste is a matter of opinion but I would like to get something that at least resembles the photos of the dish being sold. Unfortunately I will not use this takeaway again based on my first experience.

Ordered take away… found when home order was totally wrong ! Very disappointed… won’t use ever again! NOT recommend. Surely you shouldn’t need to check/open take away bags that correct food has been given! ☹️👎Never to use again!!! Your getting a pot luck if you get a take away from here!!!

We ordered from this takeaway propably around 15 times now as all other arent good at all. We order exact same food all the time we never change it. It's a shame to say the food has been good but no consistency what so ever, the food tastes diferent every single time, dishes have diferent vegetables, diferent spices, sometimes they have sauce sometimes they dont, we even get a peanuts in dishes they've not suppose to be there (not great for someone with alergy as not marked on the menu). The other week we got peanuts in chilli chips.. not sure why. As I said the food its not bad - although I couldn't eat it today how disappointed I was as I wanted my favourite dish and yet again... it tasted totally different and had a different ingredients as it suppose to have. It feels like they have diferent chefs all the time or chef Is cooking the way Scottish weather is changing - we all know we can get snow, sun, and rain within 1 hour. I dont like really to leave negative review but I've tried to contact the restaurant multiple times but left without any answer.

Young male after being to to send an order demands to say please before doing so my order sat 15 mins before he clicked and asked what I ordered waited 25 mins for a basic chips fried rice and sauce wont be back

Ordered shredded crispy chicken which was inedible & was put straight in the bin. Chips were basic. Definitely better chineses in EK.

Food was delicious and so fresh!! We waited a long time for the delivery but it was so worth it and a good sign that they were very busy!!

Our local go to for our Chinese takeaway.

Order some food from here the chicken balls looked and tasted like they had been reheated 3 times the worst I have tasted they also delivered our food 20 minutes late my wife enjoyed here might try again if its as bad as it was we won't be back.

Best salt and chili chicken ever!

Ordered a takeaway tonight. Egg fried rice had no egg in it! The chicken chow mein was bland and the spicy chicken dish was also bland with no spice. Really disappointed. Won't order from here again.

Use this chinese quite a bit, usually have the satay which is always excellent. Food always delivered on time , would highly recommend

Have used Dragon quite a few times & have never had a problem meals have always be top marks but tonight's one has disappointed me my meal was that greasy you could see the grease on the bottom of the box parts of my chicken was still pink & the sweet & sour sauce had way to much vinegar it totally ruined my meal couldn't eat it

Good quality food but get my order wrong from Just Eat every time. I select “honey chilli” for my choice of sauce and always get peking. Portion size a little small.

Always order from here. Favourite Chinese in EK and I have tried most of them. Love the curry sauce.

The only Chinese takeaway I go to now. As a vegetarian the options are vast. The food is tasty and delivery is always on time, if going to be late well kept up to date. Picture attached is half a portion. Tomorrow nights dinner as portions are huge

We use this place quite a bit now. I always get Dry Spare Ribs (meaty, good portion) and Beef Satay on skewers which is tasty.

Ordered from Dragon Kitchen for my daughter's birthday takeaway. Order was delivered quickly. Food was very tasty. Christmas card and extra fortune cookies were a nice touch as was the free box of salt and chilli chips, spring rolls and curried veg parcels. Will definitely order again.

I don't normally take the time to leave a review but I felt like I had to this time. First off I was very impressed by the amount of food you actually get for your money.... Second the food tastes amazing. So full of flavour. Also this is not the first time I have ordered. They are consistently good. Would 100% recommend this place.

Must be under new management. The food is outstanding and the staff super efficient. My go to chinese .

I have been ordering here every Saturday since March 2020 and I have never been disappointed. I used to order from The Lantern which is 2 minutes from my house not any more would rather wait for the Dragon delivery as it's different class. They also put a wee extra to try free of charge. Go on give them a try. 😋

Have just recently started using this takeaway and I have no complaints everything we have had has been delicious, we normally use The Lantern but this is now our go to Chinese takeaway.

If i could give this place ‘half’ instead of ‘1’ it would be for the pleasant delivery driver. Although, the food was all over the inside of the bag as the cheap overstuffed packaging had burst open. Everything tasted the exact same, which was unpleasant at best. We are still not convinced that the salt and chilly chicken was actually chicken and not fish - the texture of meat in the chicken sate was just wrong to the extent is was inedible. Veg had perhaps seen heat for about 5 seconds. Beef was vile and the noodle dish was like slime. Everything of the £40 meal, but the chips, went in the bin! This is without doubt the worst Chinese meal i have ever had and definitely one of the most terrible meals ever. This is not a cheap place - about average and a total disgrace. Who ever cooked and prepared this has no pride in what they do. Shocking.

Food ok but there’s nothing telling you that your curry doesn’t come with rice, when I bought this to their attention I was told I should have known and no other takeaway supplied rice with a curry, staff attitude wasn’t what you’d expect from a customer based business I had to buy fried rice on top of the £7 for the curry, total cost £9.20 Going to Wok Wong’s next time rice comes with dish and 20p for fried rice so total of £7.50 and they’re quality of food is as good if not better

This place should be ashamed of them selfs, worst i have ever had. Kids sausage and chips £7.50 a portion of chips and 2 separate sausages in a bag. No gravy onions nothing to complement meal absolutely chuffing terrible. Stay away guys. Best advise i could give

picked up my chinese from here last night as recently moved to the area. I actually thought there must have been a mistake with the curry sauce as it was very dark, it was so sweet I thought it must have been bbq. After a few seconds a ting of spice came about so it must be curry? Salt and chilli chips were again so so sweet!! I have never tasted anything like it. If anything Chinese are usually really salty! Can now see from previous reviews this is an ongoing theme. It’s all well and good saying hardly anyone complains, that doesn’t mean they enjoy it it just means it’s too much hassle to complain. As I can see the manager doesn’t take feedback constructively ... I imagine not very many people would want to tackle this. Also ... £5 for salt and chilli chips, get a grip 🙉.

As the local Chinese takeaway that i have used for 20 years had recently changed owners that caused a cliff edge drop in food quality, I decided to try some food from the Dragon Chinese Kitchen as an alternative. I really wished i had read the reviews about this place first as the quality was quite appalling. My partner and I ordered BBQ spare ribs in sauce, sweet and sour chicken and a portion fried rice. The ribs were dry as a bone despite having a light coating of thick, glutinous sickly sweet sauce. I can only imagine that the ribs are deep fried then kept warm in an oven until some hapless individual like me buys them. They were so bad, they went straight into the bin. The sweet and sour chicken didn't fair much better. No flavour to speak of apart from yet another sickly sweet sauce with some bits of pineapple, soggy overcooked onions and chicken pieces that i think were dried out in the same oven as the ribs. Guess what? This went straight in the bin as well. As we were only left with a tub of fried rice as we had dumped everything else, we expected the rice to be appalling as well. You guessed it, it was dry, disgusting, clumped together and completely inedible. I have no intention of ever buying from this place again. What a complete waste of money. My partner commented later that we would have been better buying a cheap microwave Chinese meal deal from Morrison's next door as would have easily been much better than the disgusting overpriced, tasteless sickly sweet dried out slop that is sold by the Dragon Chinese Kitchen

Take away order. I have to be truthful. This was the most disappointing Chinese I have ever had in 40 years. I had Chicken Udon (awful). My wife had prawns and ginger. It was 6 prawns and huge chunks of thick ginger and two full onions. ( awful) So disappointing but we will not be back. There is no excuse for poor food. If tempted to go ( think will Morrisons cafe be better).

Ordered £30 worth of food from here tonite and all was minging. The chicken chow main was bland and noodles were way over cooked and chicken in it was disgusting. Shredded chicken was OK, not the best. On top of having bad quality food we waited nearly 2 hours and it was cold on arrival. Definitely won't b bk..

Absolutely shocking takeaway, bought a munchie box this evening and the quality was very poor. Mostly onion, chicken was mainly batter, and the chips were awful. We are frequent customers of Dragon so we phone back to explain that we weren’t happy, and spoke to the manager who was extremely rude and hung up on my partner. We will never be back, avoid this Chinese takeaway!!!

Visited this place today and ordered “Chicken Fried Rice” and a tub of “Curry Sauce.” Food tasted good, however, could have done with being a lot warmer. Waited almost 20 minutes for the food so for that reason I have knocked another star off.

Scran was amazing.....as always. Usually collect but was pure heavy MWI so got a delivery and was here pronto. Salt and Chilli king prawn is my new favourite btw!!

Order came within the estimated delivery time which was more then reasonable for a Friday night! When the food came it was warm and smelled amazing! The portion size was great so we now even have some for a snack today which is always nice! We had the Salt and Chilli Munchie box with some additional Salt and Chilli chips and chicken! This meant they sent us some prawn crackers AND a side of Salt and Chilli wings! Which should not be given for free because they were delicious! On top of all the greatness we were then given fortune cookies! Amazing! Thank You 😁

Not used for a while and unlikely to use again anytime soon. Food was mostly nice enough but one of the bits of chicken had a bone and the rice was cold. The delivery time was also quite slow.

Salt & pepper chilli chips were chips with salt and pepper with a few sprinkles of onion and 4 chilli flakes come on for the price it's a disgrace never order again no value for the money.

Excellent quality of food and service. Unfortunately the delivery driver is the most rude individual we have come across; did not utter a word, was clearly not in a good mood then slammed our gate before going back to close it.

I ordered what was supposed to be spicy shredded crispy chicken and it was just chunks of chicken and had no taste what so ever I thought we would try food from here again after only having an order from them a few nights previous which again was awful the driest meal I've ever had and when I phoned the restaurant the girl on the phone couldn't have cared less, stinking attitude if you ask me. For sure the last time I'll be ordering from here I'd rather save my money!

I hate leaving bad reviews but the food was not good. Kids meal was cold; plain noodles, some were hot others cold; special chow mein was ok; chicken Kung Po was not like any I've ever had, chicken was chewy & in a gravy (very salty) instead of the usual red sauce - poor quality for the money.

Ordered at 7.20pm, told delivery would be 8.10pm, called at 8.30 to be told it would be with us any minute, called again 8.50, again out for delivery. Eventually arrived just after 9pm, food cold and poor quality, will not be using again

Food has gone right downhill since the last time we ordered. Chicken satay was tasteless, crispy chicken not crispy just dry, and the salt and chilli chips were the worst I've had. A real disappointment I'm afraid.

Forgot part of my order and took 30 mins to bring the rest when I phoned back to say it had been 25 since I received my order so now my food was cold the manager started arguing with me telling me tjat my food wasn't cold!!!!!! Really because I had just cheaked and it was!!!!

Found hard bit that nearly broke my tooth in the mixed satay. The chicken was fatty and slimey. Ordered the bbq ribs in the meal deal and they were disgusting. Dont know what the black sauce was but definitely not bbq. Disappointed. Sorry.

Munchy box was terrible chicken bits were brick hard and so were the ribs. Hardly any flavour of chilli just salty
