As an afternoon tea aficionado - this place is truly a hidden gem! The Victoria sponge was Bake-off worthy. I wish I’d had time to have the afternoon tea as it looked delicious. Great but not overly solicitous service. Cute vintage tea room vibes with a fox 🦊 theme - obvs. Please book to avoid disappointment.

A hidden gem absolutely love it. It certainly impressed my mother in law who came all the way from Bath for the experience.

Love this place. Best tea room in Weston with fantastic cake, all sorts of loose leaf tea and great views of Weston pier and seafront. Really good Gluten Free offering fit for celiacs.

I was Highly recommended. But very Dissapointed with the selection of sandwiches , my friend had a nice selection of vegetarian and it would of been nice on a separate plate for my Ham and meat selection, which I had egg /cheese , I Thought the price was way to much nearly 40.00. I assumed we would have had a few !!! chrisps or savoury eggs Which would of been lovely !! Staff lovely though

I've always had a good experience here. I recently had an afternoon tea with a group of friends and it was delicious. Staff attentive and friendly and a nice warm atmosphere

Enjoyed an Afternoon Tea for 2 and overall, we were very happy. The quality of the food tasted fresh and delicious. The staff were really friendly and polite and it's good value. Only a couple of small things would have made this visit perfect. My partner had a milkshake instead of tea and unfortunately it tasted like box powder shake, not fresh like the food. And we were not checked on during our visit so I was not offered a refill of tea despite it being unlimited. However, this wouldn't stop us booking again, i highly recommend this tearoom!

Very friendly stopped for coffee and cake .lovely couldn't fault and was allowed to take dog in. Perfect 👌.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea here. The food was delicious and a lovely mix of sandwiches, scones and cake. Our group had a vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free, and our requirements were really carefully taken care of with excellent options for each, which was really appreciated. I’d recommend for a lovely treat while in Weston.

What a wonderful little find on our first ever visit to Weston-super-Mare. Staff are so lovely can't do enough for you. Even put a fan in the tearoom for me (with my hot sweats) And the tea and scones were delightful. Thank you girls keep up the good work. Please.visit them. X

Latest visit 2023 Re visited Dr Fox cafe as now under new owners. Much improved since last visit. Young lady who served us very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Lovely surroundings and very clean. Service was quick and efficient. Very nice coffee and fantastic coffee cake. I will definitely be revisiting. Well done on the improvement.... Last visit 2019. (previous owner) Could be better. Limited choice on lunch menu which there is no firm favourites eg. Bacon sandwich these are only served before 11.30 am. Scones and tea nice, breakfast looked good but was bland tasting, veggie sausages were mainly bread and leak not very appetising. Salmon and scrambled egg very nice. Whole experience not great due to fed up looking owner finding it difficult to smile and enjoy his career choice, and lack of acknowledgement from any staff member. A smile goes a long way.

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon tea stop at Dr Fox's. The staff were friendly and efficient, the space comfortable and stylish, and the cake.... The cake was delicious. I had the chocolate stout cake, on the recommendation of the server, and it was divine. The scones were lovely as well. Highly recommend this little place - nothing to fault!

A very cute Cafe locate on the island of Weston-super-mare. Have been twice for a low key Hen party and baby shower. The staff are friendly and adaptable for the order of a large group. Afternoon tea selection is very nice, with plenty of selection for sandwiches, including scones and cakes. Would happily continue to visit this cute cafe.

Stumbled upon this tea room whilst visiting WSM for the day. Luckily for us there was an outside table available as it was a glorious day and the view is lovely. We ordered two toasted paninis (Brie and cranberry and cheese and caramelised onion) and some coffee cake. Their food is all handmade on the premises and the quality shines through. The panines were delicious (especially the Brie and cranberry), as was the cake. They are a family business and their enthusiasm for their products is obvious to see and their customer service is excellent. If we are ever in Weston again we will look forward to a return visit.

Came in for a light snack while out for a stroll and left very happy. Scenic views across the bay from outdoor seating make a lovely location. Great coffee, tea and tasty scones and cakes made for a very pleasurable way to spend 45 mins!

We had reserved a table for afternoon tea and despite being 15 mins early, were warmly welcomed to a set table and brought a jug of iced water. (Lovely on a hot day like today.) The food was both generous and delicious. Particular highlights were the mini scones (which meant that you still had room for the cakes on the top layer!) and the fact that the tea and Americano were willingly refilled at no extra charge. Beautiful surroundings, light cakes and the freshest sandwiches. Can't wait to go back!

Really lovely space away from the busy seafront. Lovely cakes (recommend the chocolate Guinness cake!), Tea options, panini's and speciality scones. Definitely recommend. Realistic pricing too.

My wife had an afternoon tea at Dr Fox's as part of a present from her previous work place. We took the day off to use it on a Monday. Service, food staff were excellent. 6 different sandwiches came as part of the package. (cheese and pickle, salmon and cream cheese, egg and rocket, ham and mustard, cucumber and homous and red pepper) 4 mini scones (2 of each, fruit and plain) with jam and cream. Then 2 cupcakes and 2 slices of Victoria Sponge. Lovely place well spaced out seating. Dog friendly as well if required. Will visit again. 😍🙂😋

Really disappointing experience! Arrived late morning & asked for a table for 2. Was given the choice of two tables. When we sat down just an afternoon tea menu was on the table. Waitress cane over soon after with a jug of water, I asked for a menu & said we would like some drinks. She then realised we'd been seated on a reserved table, apologised & said she would get an empty table cleared straightaway which was fine & we fully understood so we moved out of the way & walked towards the other table. Several other tables were vacated at the same time so we waited patiently for several minutes, however no-one cleared the table we were waiting for & none of the staff acknowledged us & then a member of staff came & started to clear a different table & didn't even look up even though we were standing very close by. At that point I as it was about 5 mins we'd waited we gave up & left.

Great place to stop for tea and scone ( or cake ) great walk along the front and the are to this tea shop. Beautiful fresh scones, butter and jam. Staff were lovely and very quick with service. Very quiet place to enjoy your drinks and food.

We came across this tearoom by accident after walking around the outside of the old swimming baths on Knightstone Island. A lovely ambiance with welcoming staff and tasty home made cakes. I will definitely return next time I visit Weston

Visited yesterday for an afternoon tea with my daughter, who is vegan. Delicious food snd drinks, all freshly prepared. The owner was very friendly, welcoming and obliging and was more than happy to supply us with doggy-bags for what we hadn't managed to eat! The tearoom is very cosy with lovely, quirky decor. Will definitely be returning!

We had a private party at Dr Foxes and we were delighted! Alyson was brilliant to communicate with and on the party day nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing and everyone had a great time, would definitely recommend.

This is a truly lovely, but out of the way tea shop. The service is 1st class and happy. I did stupidly also have a slice of the coffee cake, it was amazing but large. I left feeling very full and satisfied.

Yesterday was my fourth visit to Dr Fox’s Tearoom for an afternoon tea. This time my visit was with family. The owner and staff are always wonderfully warm and friendly and the cafe is lovely and cosy. One of our party is particularly fussy and they were so accommodating, making a separate selection of sandwiches with plain fillings for them. Everything on the plates was fresh and delicious and the cakes light and fluffy. I loved the coffee and the tea drinkers drank more than they would normally because they enjoyed it so much. Thank you for another enjoyable afternoon. I’m so pleased that I’ve found your tearooms and have loved every visit.

We called with my parents to enjoy an amazing afternoon tea, we greeted by warm and friendly welcome. The choice of drinks was great, the coffee was excellent and loose leaf tea was perfect. The selection of sandwiches was fabulous and we had more than enough, the scones are the best I’ve ever had and the cakes with lovely, light and delicious. The ambience of the tea room added to the whole experience. The disabled facilities were fantastic with easy access and great a toilet, with lots of room. Overall we had a fantastic time thank you so much

Family of 5 and 2 dogs tried to stop for coffee and cake today. When eventually acknowledged we asked if we might be able to have a table outside, but were told that we would not be able to add an extra chair to a table as 'they only allowed 4 chairs around a table'? There was plenty of room so we were not really sure what the issue was, even the other customers who were dining looked perplexed. We actually felt like they just didn't want our custom. Certainly wouldn't bother visiting again.

Great location, with stunning views across to WsM from our table. Ordered the cream tea for my wife's birthday. Dr Fox's Tearoom is set in a truly relaxing location, overlooking WSM beach. Inside the tearoom there is a variety of fresh foods, including scones with some amazing fillings that are simply delicious.
