This place is seving of the best kebab I ever eat. Highly recommend food and service

Closed alot due to family holidays! Not quite the Mexican food I know or traditional fish and chips!

Had 2 chicken bowls , 1 normal,1 hot food was nice and well cooked but half way through mine ( the hot one ) had a enormous hair in it . Got refunded straight away but no apology just treated as matter of fact 😡

I bought this bottle of water from them , I don’t know what it taste like , it’s disgusting . Not mineral water , and on top of that its price £1.5 😡 and And it caused me stomach acidity. Never recommend it.

I regret going in here for a takeaway which was luke warm and bland. But the main reason I won't go back is how filthy the place is, right down to the cook/shop assistant's uniform. There's old dirt caked into gaps in the counter areas. They don't deserve the custom if they can't be bothered to clean. £1 less than Boojum but it's a no brainer for me now.

This place were awful the burger was uncooked and chips were like that they stored from the last week.

Right in line with expectations. Chicken Burrito had a great middle eastern kick and customer service were great.

Food was nice enough, waited no time , staff nice, no tea just the usual tinned or bottled soft drinks.

They might be new in business.I don’t know ,but they could improve their customer service. The chicken kebab was ok,I mentioned no onions no garlic,but I still got lots of onions in the kebab. The girl at the cashier looked at me like I was an alien lol . Chips portion is small for the price given but taste wasn’t so bad.overall pricey Greasy but heyyyy is a chipper.

Awful cheesy chips. Chips were frozen and were cold, cheese tasted plastic and couldn't even melt. I wish I could give 0 stars. Couldn't even eat it

Called in for a Battered Fish to be given the most disgusting shrivelled up piece of food I have ever tasted. The worker was unable to tell me what type of fish it was but it was undercooked & tasted vile. DO NOT EAT HERE...

Got a kebab it was small what a rip off for £7.. total joke

We were so lucky to bump into this restaurant. The only place that we could spot Halal!!! The burritos, fries and burgers were good. The only con was you need to pay in cash as they don’t accept cards.

Doner upon doner, the portion was ample, But the chicken and lamb pieces were merely a sample. Just got a vegetarian borrito bowl with rice and a portion of chips.was tasty food.chips were decent £10 in total.me and wife had this for dinner between us.😋

Yo encontré este lugar por casualidad y ¡Qué hallazgo, he tenido almuerzo en dr, s cocina tres o cuatro veces y cada vez me han servido comida de buena calidad, a un precio razonable, con un servicio excelente. Me gusta mucho la hacienda fry, que es muy buena calidad de los ingredientes cocinados a la perfección. El servicio siempre es fantástica y dr, s cocina vale la pena una visita.

This place is nice and clean. With good food and superior staff. Deffinetly worth a visit. Coffee is very good.

Stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere for lunch. Hadn't noticed before. Beautiful steak and mushroom pie and mash, presented beautifully presented and tasting even better. Definitely recommend.

This diner trains, employs and places young people with learning disabilities. For this alone, you must support the place. However, the food is an added bonus - it is delicious, and very inexpensive. The service is attentive and professional.

Teníamos sólo soltamos las maletas en el Premier Inn a la vuelta de la esquina y empezamos nuestra búsqueda de una ubicación. Encontré en DrB y se quedó impresionado por los precios que eran bastante barato. En este punto hay que conseguir preocupado en lo que se acerca a la placa aparecen en una. ¡No puede ser tan barato. . .Lo siguiente ocurrió fue probablemente la mejor experiencia de desayuno. La comida era fresca como sea posible, café (que era muy agradable) era continuamente hasta por algunos de los empleados más que he revisado.En mi próxima estancia en Belfast, cercanía a Dr. ser será un criterio!

Inicialmente la cálida bienvenida te atrae tanto. Comí allí cuando posible, ya que el personal te hace sentir como si tienen esperando. La selección del desayuno recién hecha para cada diner. La gran variedad de especialidades, mientras que el almuerzo a un precio razonable, siempre es deliciosa. No puedo hablar lo suficientemente bien del personal, su amabilidad, su atención al detalle. Cuando preguntan 'fue todo derecho para usted? 'Que en realidad significa. Este restaurante está ubicado muy práctico para ir de compras y realmente merece una visita. ☺

Have eaten here a few times for lunch. Food is always excellent and the staff are first class. The minestrone soup is to "die for", they should have it on the menu everyday!

We had a great Ulster Fry for breakfast here while on a city break. Spotlessly clean, well cooked food, fast service and very reasonably priced. Near the Cathedral quarter. The staff are lovely and very attentive. Give it a try.

Service was fantastic and my omelette was tasty and well cooked could not fault the place at all really would recommend this place to anyone looking a quiet lunch.

Looking for somewhere to enjoy a great breakfast or lunch...look no further. Dr B's staff & food are simply 1st class nothing is to much trouble and taste wise....yum. I have had many a Caeser salad (my healthy option :) )in many a fancy restaurant, but Dr B's is far and away my favourite.

We were shopping in Belfast and passed this restaurant, we decided to look at menu on window. It catered exactly for brunch. We went and were seated immediately and hand a menu by a very pleasant waitress. We ordered our food and I have to say the food was exceptional, well presented and hot exactly how we like it. The staff could not have been nicer, very helpful and and could not have been nicer. As our plates were taken away the waitress asked was there anything else we would like, my husband had pavlova that was home made, full of fruit and cream beautiful presented. I had a homemade traybake the taste was fantastic, We will definitely be back, well done everyone connected with this fantastic gem of a place.

This little place has the best little breakfast ever. Clean, tidy, friendly staff. Must visit, great for a quick light bite or just a wee cuppa. Very central. Great for all the family.

Lovely clean cafe, staff are fantastic, good for the budget, it's busy and small. I prefer this home cooked cafe to the fast food outlets around.

Dr B's is a great experience. The kitchen and front of house are staffed by young petiole with learning difficulties; all under the expert eye of supervisors who are experienced and understanding of the needs of heir clients. A very varied and healthy menu is offered for morning coffee and lunch and the prices are surprisingly low considering the quality of food and service. The young people come from mainstream and special schools all over Northern Ireland know for a fact that many end up working in the catering industry and very successfully too.A little patience is required sometimes when placing your order but the food cant be faulted.The supervisory staff are to be congratulated, as is Barnardo's, who are responsible for the whole process.

we only popped in once for breakfast during our stay, but as a restaurant run by a charity and providing the experiences that it does to young people, I was really impressed. Well done and a worthy charity.

Popped into Dr B's Kitchen for a break from a long days shopping.This was my first time being here.To be honest I was on my way to another cafe when I noticed dr bs and thought I would give it a try.The cafe is clean, bright and welcoming.food was lovely. I loved how this cafe gives jobs to people who barnardos help

Visited for breakfast, didn't know it was a charity restaurant, very impressed with service and price of the food.

This place is hard to beat. I struggled to pick from the menu as I liked the sound of everything. I wasn't disappointed with my choice and had a cheeky massive fat boy bowl of hand cut chips on the side. My coffee was topped up for free...with a smile and in fact everyone seemed to be happy at their work...what's not to like.I always make a point of visiting when I'm in Belfast and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work.

This eatery run by the Dr Barnardo's charity trains local youth to work in the restaurant business as sous chefs, counter staff, and wait people. I always enjoy eating here since the food is usually first rate and the income helps a very worthy cause. The menu is creative and the tasty lunches are often well prepared and beautifully presented. I only had a bad meal here once when fish fillets were still half frozen and salad was wilted. When I politely brought it to the attention of the management, they seemed sheepishly embarrassed but did not offer to refund my bill or replace my meal. However, I consider this unfortunate experience a one off, as I have since returned and found the quality to be an excellent value for the money.

I can honestly say, this was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. All of the food was cooked to perfection and the lovely wait staff even offered free coffee refills. The only disappointment was that it wasn't open on Saturdays!

Called in for a late lunch because we liked the look of the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The young people who were being trained gave great service and the food was tasty and very well presented. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day too. Thank you.

When we went in there, we didnt know this cafe is actually a Charity Restaurant and I think the concept is quite amazing. Apart from that, the food just tasted very delicious and the prices were more than reasonable. I would certainly eat again there. Friendly atmosphere.

Just called in a for a quick fry up...was quick..the people serving were lovely...and really good value for money....I'm feeling full!!!!

Dr B's is very well priced for simple home cooked food that has always been perfectly cooked.The staff are very helpful and friendly and the cafe is spotless clean.We also love the fact that Dr B's is used to train local young people to work in different areas of the catering trade, thus helping them get a career/job.

Myself and work colleges go here for breakfast every Friday and it is superb! Excellent, friendly service, Dr B's trains young people with disabilities to enter employment so it is always a pleasure to receive 5 star service from them. The breakfast is very very reasonable, good quality and generous portions. They are also excellent at changing about the menu to suit your personal wishes. A must visit if you live in Belfast!!!

Went here for lunch and was very surprised by the standard. We had the steak, chips, onion rings, mushrooms and tomato for £6.95, it was very well presented chips were homemade and everything was to a very high standard. Staff where very friendly and couldn't of did enough for u. Will definitely be back

Located in Bridge St in Belfast (not Aldergrove). This is a Barnardos training project but the selection and quality of the food could not have been faulted. Really good range of daily specials. We chose the oriental beef stir fry which arrived out on sizzling dishes and delicious. We then had a lovely baked Alaska as part of a 2 course lunch deal. Really good value - have paid twice as much for not as good elsewhere.

Fantastic food and a great concept helping kids get experience working and dealing with the public, it has not been open the last few times I have been to Belfast,I hope all is ok and it opens soon.

Visited again and this is still a great wee place to eat during the day in Belfast. It's smack bang in the middle of Belfast, easy to find and it's not in Aldengrove.If you want a snacky lunch or more substantial lunch or just a coffee and cake, they do it all well and still with a smile. We had the Panini's and coffees and they are great value. Sadly we had no room for lovely cakes on offer. Get down and see what you are missing.So pop in next time you are in Belfast and give the hardworking

My wife and I had a nice lunch, at a very reasonable price, what more can I say....Well actually I would be failing Dr B's if I didn't mention the exceptional service, attentiveness and the fact that everyone looked genuinely happy to be doing what they do. Lower class of breakfast, cheap sausages, but a big plate, i asked for "strong tea", it came with 1 tea bag in a big pot, I wonder what I would have got if id asked for "weak tea"?To be honest, not my "cup of tea"

Really nice meal... Had chicken gougons with a lime and poppyseed coating. Really good. Service was excellent and the restaurant area was extremely clean. Good value for money. Will b back.

We were waiting on the Royal Ulster Rifles Museum opening and came in for coffee/water.The young men working in here had the place spotless.I had a large ice cold bottle of water and Hubby had coffee.He was also offered a top up which was nice.The cakes on display looked great.What I really liked and look for in a place is spotless tables/spotless floor and the doorway coming in was mopped within an inch of it's life!Great place...

I have been in this place a few times as the staff are so friendly and accommodating.It is run by Dr Barnados and trains young people with learning difficulties so great service with a great ethos. The food is cheap and cheerful, chicken club sandwiche can never be finished by any if us.Called in yesterday to meet up with family though I ordered just as they were closing, they were happy to serve me. We tend to go in after 2, so I'm sure there is a better crowd in before that.Always very clean and service with a smile :)

We were so impressed with this restaurant that we were still talking about it later on in the day. The service was brilliant!! We were served very promptly and 3 members of friendly staff asked us if our meals were okay or if we needed anything else. The fried breakfast was literally the best we'd ever had out, cooked to perfection! THERE SHOULD BE DR B'S EVERYWHERE!! We don't live in the area and really wish there was one near us! The place was extremely clean with hard working, attentive staff cleaning tables immediately.

When in Belfast we would make our way to Dr B's for lunch. Situated on Bridge Street, Belfast - just beside the bus stop for Carrickfergus. Such a handy place for locals and visitors to find, to eat in and relax. Staff are always attentive, our needs are always met and expectations always surpassed. Lovely as usual and would recommend to everybody.

I've had lunch a few times in here now and the food is always excellent. Big portions, good prices and quick attentive staff. The desserts are not to be missed too. The Eton Mess was fantastic.

This is run by a children's charity to train disadvantaged young people to be waiters and chefs. There is an international variety of food on offer and it is served to you piping hot in about five minutes. It always tastes lovely. It is open for breakfasts and lunches only and is not open on Saturdays or Sundays - also there is no alchohol served nor are you allowed to bring your own. It is only around the corner from where the open top tour buses leave.
