The dough is not well done. The mozzarella is fake. You use white cheese and the taste is not great. Please mention on the menu that you use white cheese on some pizza, as it is not mozzarella. It is not fair as the people think you use mozzarella when it is not. I have seen you mentioned on the menu that you put fior di latte on some pizza. So as you mentioned that, please mention white cheese on the others as it is not mozzarella. Tell this to Ben, the general manager to be honest. People should get what they pay for. And if you continue to tell that you put mozzarella on the pizza, when it is not, I will come to your Pizzeria to have a chat with you and I will show you that the mozzarella you have it is not the real mozzarella. And do not confuse mozzarella with fior di latte. Because I am talking about the mozzarella. So on the menu, you should amend it writing: Mozzarella (White Cheese not hand made) Thank you.

We ordered 4 pizzas: Margherita, Salami, Formaggi, Friarelli. All 4 pizzas were very soggy. The pizza is well cooked on the top, and uncooked on the bottom. The centre of the pizza is quite soggy. The mozzarella they put on the pizza is not the real mozzarella. It is white cheese that tastes completely different from the real mozzarella. The pizza is not good overall. I would not go again and I would not suggest to go there to eat pizza.

Ordered a pizza through Deliveroo delivery and i complained though Deliveroo who passed my details on to double zero and as I've not heard from them on the back of the complaint, I'm writing this review. I'm disgusted to be honest, I found an old mankey AAA battery that looks like it had been chewed up and left lying on the dirty floor in with my pizza. Deliveroo couldn't have been more helpful but I've not heard from Dbl zero so I assume they are not bothered. I did eat some before i found it and incidentally spend most of the next day on the toilet, I'll leave it at that. Questionable hygiene if they can allow something like an old zinc battery to get in with the food.

Love 'double zero' my favourite pizza. We went here (chorlton one) and had this amazing pizza, see pic They are opening a new restaurant in town and it is open now for collection, it didn't disappoint, we loved it. I think 'double zero' is the best pizza I've had in the UK and I love my pizza The restaurant is opening very soon but at the moment just collection, it's still worth calling in if you love pizza You must try the tiramisu and the panna cotta as well, they are so delicious Keep up the good work guys

1st time visit last Friday for a birthday get together, nothing short of amazing. We had 2 starters and 2 pizzas, both super tasty and a good size, very filling. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible pizza. Great atmosphere. The team that run it are brilliant. Booked a table for 24 for my GF’s bday. They immediately responded to the enquiry and were really accommodating. Let us bring our own birthday cake. BYOB as well so it’s amazing value. Can’t fault it.

It was great as usual. This is maybe the 6th time I've been. I've never been disappointed with the pizza. This time I had the half cslacone. I decided to have some ice-cream. I was going to have some Pistachio. They had run out. It saved me from having a pud.

This was our 4th trip to Double Zero and we had a take away this evening. Obviously, we love it or we wouldn’t have been back so many times (when it is 35 minutes drive from our home) but tonight was the best yet. The pizzas are fantastic - cooked to perfection and packed full of authentic ingredients. Amazing. Do one thing and be the best - Double Zero do this in spades. We’ll be back!

I've been to Double Zero a fair few times now and always really enjoyed myself. The Antipasti platters are delicious and every pizza I've had has been great. This visit, I opted for the Mezzaluna. My lord, it was so good that I'm struggling to put it in words about good it was. Service has always been good too.

First visit here and very much enjoyed the food. Pizza are exceptionally fresh, a massive variety and we all enjoyed our starters and mains. Too full for dessert!! It’s busy from the minute they open so I’d suggest booking. It’s small (and busy) so there’s a lot of chatter noise/ atmosphere, we like that but if you want a quiet, formal meal this place isn’t for you. Very young crowd. But we didn’t feel out of place. it’s BYOB so I’d you want anything alcoholic to drink, take it with you but there a good list of soft drinks you can buy. My only issue was the toilet situation. I’m a old fashioned gal that likes to see separate ladies and gents toilets that are kept mega clean. They are tight on space so have two loos used by either gender, clean-ish. Staff were friendly, helpful and knew the menu well.

It’s a little overhyped. Its good but not great. Went to Hamburg a week later and had a better Neapolitan pizza. The staff are okay, though depends on which member of staff you get. Incredibly busy.

Went there for a dinner with my sister and it was really nice, nice vibes and shout-out to Debora who take care of us and she was really nice!!!

I've been a regular to this place for last year or so and never have had a mediocre let alone a bad pizza. Base is cooked to perfection and doesn't get chewy as pizza gets old, would deffo recommend trying out Miele Sizzler (or Vulcana if ye like extra heat). Also don't skip out on desserts esp. panna cotta!

First time visiting and the pizzas were amazing. Did not disappoint and will certainly return. So tasty and nice atmosphere and people 10/10

It took ages to ve served (one hour). Only deliveroos were attended to wich is not fair. However, pizzas were good. We will not come back.

Simple is good Best italian pizza in UK, and seriously, big brands can learn from Double Zero. Fantastic service! One thing what they should work on, is food decoration, absolute drama...I can recommend Google for some ideas. Smashed buratta covered by glaze balsamic vinegar, served on cold as ice bread it's a criminal offence !!! I will definitely be back for more pizza and will spread the word about great service. Incredible pizza, great menu with strong simple flavours done perfectly. The servers and managers were so accommodating and happy to help with any of our requests. The chili oil is hot, properly hot but a great addition to the pizzas. The fact that this place is BYO is too good to be true, 10/10 pizza, 10/10 service/ management and your own plonk. Could not recommend more.

Had an fantastic time trying out some seriously great pizza in Chorlton. Loads of options on the menu, but we went for the meatballs to share, then each of us had the volcano pizza – absolute flavor explosion! The food and service were spot on. Definitely suggest booking ahead due to the popularity of the restaurant

The pizza itself was great and you can see why it's got such a good reputation, I think we just caught it at the wrong time. Our starters arrived before our soft drinks and when we asked one of the staff about them they were clearly annoyed. We still didn't get them until after our mains came but another member of staff did at least say sorry for the wait. We then had to ask for a new glass as one had a chip in the rim. They were clearly very busy so it's understandable but we were a little surprised how unfriendly it felt at times.

The best pizza in Manchester (in my opinion). It’s also BYOB which is nice. It is a bit loud in there though so hard to hear people sometimes.

The pizza is amazing and the price is good, but it is so incredibly noisy here on a Saturday - I think because of the tiled walls and the open kitchen, and the music doesn't help. Not a place to go if you want to talk to your friends. Service was great, staff lovely, but I wouldn't go back at the weekend. Very tightly packed tables, narrow entrance walkways and heavy narrow doors mean this is unlikely to be an easy fit for a wheelchair or anyone with mobility issues.

I booked Double zero for 11 people for a graduation celebration. I’ve visited the restaurant on a few occasions including for my birthday booking a year or so prior. The gluten free pizza base is incredible and they cater to dietary requirements whilst remaining affordable....

Excellent as always. Just very fine pizza at reasonable prices with friendly service and BYOB. There's a new menu but thankfully our old favourites are still available. UPDATE: Is Google going to ask me for an updated review every time I go here? Either way, it's still bloody excellent. Pictured is tonight's special, which had purple potatoes cunningly incorporated into the dough, giving it an almost gnocchi-like texture. Excellent stuff, although I'm not quite as convinced by crushed biscuits as a topping!

Big statement incoming....... Best Neapolitan pizza I have ever had! . Starters were amazing. Food was soo fresh. Bring your own beer was a great bonus. Staff were very polite and friendly. Service did get a little slow towards the end and the inside sounds quite loud after a while. Can't fault the food in any way. Will be returning for sure !

The reason for this feedback is that not all clients are treated the same. The atmosphere was horrendously noisy, as one of the staff moved the chairs, tables, and couches, dragging them constantly on my side, behind me, without even caring if someone was having their pizza in their restaurant. No, apologize, no nothing. The Neapolitan pizza is fantastically good and all my respect for the chefs, but the service and the atmosphere have a lot to improve. The first time I went there, was nice and the lovely atmosphere, but yesterday was shockingly squawking. I was forced to take the pizza away and go. I hope the service and the atmosphere will rich to the standards of their food. Good luck.

The trip triggered a newfound love for Neopolitan pizza for me, and if I'm given the option to pick where to eat, I always pick a Neopolitan pizza place. Despite having tried dozens, Double Zero set the bar high on my debut and I've yet to find a place that can match it. It's a lovely place with a relaxed environment. The staff, led by Ben are really friendly. I look forward to going many more times and am excited to visit their new branch once it opens! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

I wouldn't recommend any other pizza place in Chorlton. Staff were so lovely, it was really busy but are all very helpful and wasn't a long wait till we were seated. If you want a great traditional Italian pizza its the place to go. 5 stars all round.

I came to Double Zero with my wife for a lovely date night. It was our first time eating here, and all I can give is a positive review. Although we didn't book before visit, we were greeted promptly and told to wait only a few minutes, so that they could clear a table for both of us to eat. I ordered the italian meat balls as a starter and chorizo. The italian meat balls came with 4 garlic breads, meatballs and tomato sauce. The starter was filling enough in itself, and it was so really delicious. That didn't beat the Chorizo Pizza though. I don't know what to say about the Pizza, just try it yourself haha. Hands down the best pizza in Manchester!!! And I’ve had my fair few. Authentic Neapolitan which I think taste better than the pizza I had in Naples Italy! Perfectly cooked pizza, add great sides! The only place that doesn’t have chips and I won’t cry about it. That’s how good it is.
