Service friendly food average but reasonably priced.

The food was ok, it was not delightful experience for us

We've been going there since it opened and never been disappointed; the food has always hot,tasty & good value and the girls always very pleasant.

60th birthday for Ian (you don't know him but he's top notch, top of the shelf kinda guy, you'd like him). The whole place was his birthday lunch and the staff here really delivered and particular gratitude to the chef who was dishing up all that food at the same time! Remarkable. Will go again recommended...

All 3 pasta we ordered were full of random vegetables and indian curry style sauce. This is not Italian for sure. We couldn’t eat it at all. Next table didn’t eat either we saw. Staff was lovely and cheering. If you have b’day, they treat you well. 5 stars for that. But if food we cannt eat, no point going there.

Very pleasant Italian restaurant in Hatch End. The minestrone soup was pleasant. My chicken valdostano was excellent: a very generous portion of chicken, plenty of ham and cooked very nicely and served with ample vegetables. Cassata then coffee made an ideal finish. We only had one drink each, but the bill was very reasonable for food of this quality. Service is very good and friendly.

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant, enjoying the excellent food and the lovely ambiance. Our wedding anniversary celebration was very happy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the fireworks on the tiramisu. The restaurant has a friendly staff, making it a truly delightful experience.

We took over the whole restaurant last Saturday for a lunch party to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. The tables were beautifully laid out with superb flower arrangements. The food was excellent and the service was faultless - efficient and friendly. We went on a Sunday as a family as they have a great lunch menu with plenty of choices. As you can see from the photograph it’s £17.50 a head for two courses which is exceptional for what you get speaking of the menu, I just found it on inviting to have sprawled across the front of the menu that there is a 10% service charge. It doesn’t even say if it’s optional, but it implies you will pay or else! The staff were really sweet. They were very busy but friendly enough. It seemed clean inside there too and the table was laid out with real linen and such so it had a nice finishing touch. I opted for escalope, for my main which was lovely. I had calamari, which was not so great to start with, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this. However, my family members had the salmon to start with and I have to say it looked exceptional.

The decor is modern and cheerful. The cost for 4 of us was £ 100, incl service and the early bird 2 couse meals. the service was efficient maybe a little bit brusque. the writer feels the owners have maybe pushed their luck a little by putting a few too many tables, but in fairness every table was taken. The food itself was tasty with a wide variety. Will we go again, YES

We ate here on a Friday night in July and it was surprisingly quiet. Staff were friendly and obliging and the decor was generally fine. Our food selections were served relatively quickly. My prawn cocktail starter was traditional and good. My wife and daughter were less impressed with their calamari which they said was rubbery. Their main course of salmon pasta was better, but still only average. My fish with a baked cheese sauce was nothing particularly special, but it was nicely cooked and enjoyable. Overall 3+ is probably a fairer assessment of our meal and experience.

To celebrate my 80th birthday and 50th wedding anniversary, 60 friends and relatives gathered. Manuel, the MD, was a pleasure to deal with before the event and the DT team excelled in service, good humour and wonderful food. Could not fault it. Yesterday, my wife and I went for lunch. We were there for two hours, chatting to people who work there. What a great place.

The service and food was exceptional one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food alone is outstanding and on top of that the service/staff are all kind and hard working. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

Unfortunately, the food was not up to our expectations. We found that the menu and it’s description of the food greatly differed from the actual food served. We ordered three main dishes. Firstly, the lasagna vegetariana which were supposed to be ‘pasta layers baked with mixed vegetables with cheese and bechemal sauce’ was anything but…instead I was served a very small portion of lasagna which consisted of copious amounts of cheese and tomato with one broccoli which appeared was just for decoration. We also ordered the penne alla sicilliana, which my mum requested without garlic…instead the sauce was filled with garlic and again no vegetables and watered down pasta sauce. The third dish, pasta with prawns and chillie oil was the better of the two, however, there was too much chillie oil. We all have a taste for spice, which is often used in Asian cooking…however, there was too much chillie for our liking. Unfortunately, won’t be returning. However, waiters polite. Thank you

Dona Teresa is a traditional Italian restaurant with a wide ranging menu that is reasonable priced. The restaurant is very popular so I would advise to book a table. The food was good and the portions were large. Service was efficient and friendly.

Thank you so much for hosting my mums 90th Birthday lunch today. We all had the very best time. Your staff were all amazing and could not have been more attentive. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Thank You so much to your wonderful staff for making it such a memorable occasion.

This, in my opinion, is the best Italian restaurant for miles. I have eaten here and got takeaways over 20 times. Every time, the food has been exceptional. As someone who often goes to Italy, I can say, with experience, that this restaurant serves very authentic Italian food. The staff are very friendly and portions very generous. I highly recommend Dona Theresa.

Great Italian food at a great price. Service was attentive and friendly whilst the portion sizes were generous. I found that one of the pasta dishes had too much oil in it and the pasta itself was overcooked.

The food in this restaurant is cooked to perfection. Any special requests are not a problem even to the point of serving a fruit salad for my friends, which is not on the menu. The staff are professional with a positive attitude where any requests are not a bother. The decor is to be admired as it does provide a great atmosphere and don't forget to look up at the ceiling. On street parking can be a challenge being very busy which is free after 6.30pm.

The food is good as well as the presentations. We have tried many dishes and personally I think the squid rings, Lasagna and calf's liver are partically good. Their services are outstanding too.

Yesterday, there were three large parties at lunchtime. We were just a small table of four. We were looked after so well. Despite pressure on the kitchen, we were served promptly by very friendly staff. The quality of the food was as good as ever.

It's been quite a long time since we've visited this Restaurant. We were a party of four adults. The 2 course Set Lunch/Early Bird menu gave plenty of choices and was very reasonably priced at £16.50. For Starters, 3 of us had Minestrone Soup, which was hot, full of vegetables and delicious. For mains, 3 of us had Veal Escalope and 1 Liver in a Wine Sauce with Onions, all served with Saute Potatoes and a selection of vegetables. Well presented, very good portions, very tasty, hot and perfectly cooked. The Restaurant was very clean, and the tables had Linen Tablecloths and Linen Napkins. Nice to see they had a Disabled Toilet, which was also very clean. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Always good to book to be sure of getting a table, although on the day we went, there were a few empty tables. This is definitely a good value for money Restaurant.

If you want well cooked tasty food, this is the place you can safely go to. We chose from the early bird menu which had a varied choice, and was good value too. Service and decor was also good too.

We booked this restaurant 2 weeks ago and reserved 23 spaces for the Christmas Dinner. Large table was beautifully set, welcome was very friendly. Manuel organised a small table nearby for our Secret Santa presents. A large choice of dishes on the menu and everyone...

Our family have been going here for years. The food is always outstanding, whether you stick to the prix fixe, (very reasonable), or order off the a la carte menu. They always have dover sole available, and they always make us a special dessert that is no longer on their menu, but they do make it for us. Manuel is wonderful, as is his staff. You can't go wrong here.

Manuel and his staff made our visit with our guests for Sunday lunch truly memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. A good time was had by one and all.

Fine Italian food indeed. My family have been frequenting this fine establishment for several years, and it never disappoints. Today’s selection included the prawn cocktail, white bait, and parma ham with melon to start, followed by the salmon, sea bass and calf liver for mains. All excellent.

I had an amazing experience when I came, the environment of the entire restaurant was breath-taking, the decor and atmosphere made me feel like I was on holiday. Considering the very reasonable prices, the food was much higher quality than expected, dessert especially, I wish I had taken pictures of my starters and main course, however fortunately I managed to take a picture of my dessert, which was delightful. If I could rate it higher then I would, and you will definitely be seeing me there again.

We went for our anniversary dinner. Good welcome. Very friendly staff. Went out for their way to get us the type of food we wanted. Topped it up by bringing us a surprise slice of cheesecake with candles on accompanied by celebrations music on the tennoy. I absolutely love this place. The decor and atmosphere inside is gorgeous! The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. Wine and cocktails are also amazing, and for birthdays, they absolutely make a big deal! Definitely a great place for a special evening or a celebration!

We went for valrntines dinner and had the most loveliest time ever!! Staff are awesome there! good lovely big portions and absolutely delicious with great quality ingredients. It was our anniversary and the owner surprised us with a cheesecake and candle on top, very touching and thoughtful. Totally recommend this beautiful little unique and qaint restaurant to anyone wanting a cozy and delicious meal with lovely staff!

Enjoyed the meal very much. My husband had veal shnitzel and i had chicken and they were both lovely. Very crowded as early bird gets a lot of people.

Located in a shopping district. Very well decorated restaurant with friendly staff. The food choice is huge with a lot of authentic Turkish dishes. Also very kind to the wallet. Will definitely go again. Went for lunch and was glad to walk back to work. Food portions are large and the food is of excellent quality and taste.

Great service and good atmosphere

Some of the shells of the mussels were cold (the mussels themselves were warm/hot). The tomato sauce in the mussels was lovely. The salmon tagliatelle was average at best - my wife makes far better at home. The service was slow (i apprecite we were a party of 18). Overall disappointing and I would not go back.

Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, professional and hospitable staff, tasty and plentiful food. We will come back many times for sure!

We have been going to Dona Theresa for the last few years and every time we had excellent food and service !

Lovely food but really rude staff with “attitude” and zero customer service. They should understand there will be last minute cancellation in large groups given the COVID - it’s good that people are coming forward saying they can’t attend rather than turning up at the restaurant. Next time only delivery, no dine in for sure.
