Excellent little place filled with lots to look at old fashioned tea pot loose tea it's great scone and jam and cream. Although the scones were very crumbly this time round it was hard to put cream and jam on otherwise it was lovely

Me and my partner came into Doffy’s today for some brunch and wow! The food was lovely and definitely worth the visit! The friendly waitress greeted us with a warm welcome and a smile on her face and took our order and our food and coffees were with us within 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend if you are nearby or visiting the area. Also definitely recommend there fruit cream tea scones! They were delicious! Thank you all! Joe and Terry

Amazing food and friendly service. The home made scones are truely amazing, and as for the hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream...wow! And for Christmas they have Black Forest Hot Chocolate!!

Afternoon Tea. amazing treat for a friends birthday. Tea room was very welcoming and warm with a relaxed feel. Service was good. food plentiful and to a High standard. Staff very accommodating and happily made a Gf afternoon tea

I have been to many places for poached eggs but Doffys are by far the best. The staff are friendly, efficient and we was made to feel very welcome. The scones are by far the best and biggest I’ve ever seen and homemade cakes are delicious. We will most definitely be visiting again!

Good food, nice surroundings, can be a bit stuffy when it's busy. But, I am a repeat customer because their food is good value and tasty.

Live local to doffys, but will never set foot in the tea room again, very poor customer service, with rude staff. Poor communication when trying to organise a baby shower, left no choice but to cancel booking 3 days before event. Their loss is another local companies gain.

What a fab little find. Lovely breakfast menu full of light tasty treats. Perfect, and I mean the most perfect, poached eggs ever served on the eggs benedict plate, with the lovely touch of the hollandaise sauce being presented in a small dish rather than slared all over the eggs, allowing me to have just enough to my taste. Good quality salmon too. Croissants to follow were perfectly baked and served with my favourite raspberry jam rather than the ubiquitous strawberry. All in all a perfect breakfast after a very early start on the road. I'd give it 10 stars 🌟🌟 if I could.

My mum is moving to Haverhill, so we spent a few days roaming around Haverhill and came across this place, and so pleased that we did, we both had jacket potatoes that were fully loaded!!! with side salad and crisps with a cracking pot of tea, really well presented and lovely. So next morning we went back for breakfast, thick slice of Granary toast with baked beans and a perfectly cooked poached egg, again with a great pot of tea. Great service, nice friendly staff and very clean. I know my mum will come here often and when I visit her from East Sussex I will be in again.

We went in for a sandwich and a cup of tea for lunch never expecting the size of the sandwiches to be so big and delicious. They were fresh and tasty and prepared perfectly there and then. Tea was in a traditional teapot with loose leaf tea that was very refreshing. We both came out full and didn’t have anything else for the rest of the day. It’s a Tea room to go to instead of the big chains as the service and food are far superior and prepared they and then instead of being prepared elsewhere in a warehouse and being bought in. Can’t put into words how highly I would recommend to friends and family to use this lovely tea room. A credit to the owner and staff.

Had a late Friday lunch. My partner had a delicious very well filled egg mayonnaise sandwich and I had a tasty jacket potato. Although they only had white bread for the sandwich and no chilli left for the jacket potato we enjoyed our meals.

What a lovely place for afternoon tea for my grandsons baptism party all dietary requirements catered for the staff where lovely help and friendly highly recommend this tea room

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Went for a late lunch with a couple of friends on Saturday and I honestly cannot recommend Doffy's enough! The atmosphere is amazing, comfortable, warm and welcoming with pieces of decor that'll catch your eye during your visit. The staff were so welcoming and lovely and treated myself and my friends as if we were regulars all the while making sure we had everything we needed. The food was to die for, so hard to find quality egg and soldiers, but can confidently say Doffy's has it down to an art. The cream tea was delightful and the scones were huge! Tea comes by the pot and there's a whole selection of different teas, don't panic though, the staff are happy to help you pick the perfect one. Can't wait to come back!

Beautifully decorated traditional English tea room. The menu has breakfast items, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, cakes, afternoon teas and cream teas as well as a vast selection of drinks.

Have been here several times and the food is always lovely , made fresh and you can definitely tell ! The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble :)

After visiting Audley End house and having a dreadful coffee there, we stopped in Harlow and visited Doffy's Tea Room. An excellent traditional pot of tea in a china teapot, with china teacups and faultless service. All at a far cheaper price than the earlier coffee. Highly recommended.

Best carrot cake we ever had! Sandwiches are huge and the selection of teas is really nice, too. Personally, we have not been impressed with coffee but it's a tea room after all :) I enjoy the décor and staff has always been very pleasant.

When this first appeared it seemed to be very 'twee' , and so it is. Superb afternoon teas are to be had but on this occasion we had breakfast for 4 adults and one child. The food is perfectly cooked and nicely priced. Do not expect sausage egg bacon and beans type breakfast but if you want avocado plus eggs on granary toast. Eggs Benedict on muffins . That sort of thing then this is the place. And the cost for four filling breakfasts plus drinks plus a coke was just over 30, result! But please do not come as I want to make sure a table is free for me :)

Visited our local cafe for a bacon buttie and tea. Wasn’t disappointed, great service,friendly staff and the food was great. Perfect soft tasty bread with plenty of filling. Easily recommend this place to anyone,it won’t disappoint.

We were so pleased to find this beautiful cafe today while we waited for a phone repair in Haverhill. The staff were lovely and the food is fabulous. We will be back!

Just had our first visit to Doffys tea room. I had eggs benedict, spot on. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Wife had cheese and sweet pickle sandwich, bread was nice and fresh, a nice sandwich. We will definitely come again

I visited doffys lovely little tearoom today for the first time since they have reopened due to lockdown. The whole tearoom was sparkling clean, staff were very friendly and made us feel so welcome and safe with brilliant social distancing measures with the tables spaced...

Absolutely love the cakes from Doffy's. We have been getting regular cake-aways over lockdown. The lemon drizzle, and caramel sponge have been favourites so far. The brownie is not to be missed either!

Beautiful little tea room surprise in The middle of a modern busy high street. Lovely fresh warm scone served with clotted cream and delicious jam on pretty vintage china. Lovely pleasing atmosphere and decor, very clean, excellent coffee and tea. Friendly staff, food and friendly warm service. A great way to rest on a winters day in a lovely warm lovely space out of the cold and. We were well attended to and felt well looked after

It my first experience at Doffy's tea room and sadly not the best... arrived at 13:00 to meet a friend for afternoon tea we ordered food waited and waited and waited ...1.5hr passed and then a gent approached us asking us if we could move as they were setting up for a kids birthday... I said no, as we have been waiting for 1.5 hrs and we still don't have our food...the Gent proceeded to finding out where our food was but we still had to wait a further 15 for the food so I won't be returning there sadly. 1.45hr for a sandwich is ridiculous. Very disappointed it was just after 3pm when we left.

Visited Doffy's with friends. Lovely relaxing environment. Menu has plenty on it and tea list is extensive. We had a selection of sandwiches and cakes which were all fresh and will be visiting again. The decor is beautiful and so much attention to detail.

I have to say I love everything about Doffy’s! I don’t get to visit very often, but whenever I visit my friend who lives nearby we always have to come for a delicious treat. Our favourite is the afternoon tea - fantastic value & all the treats are absolutely delicious! The staff are all wonderful, always so friendly & helpful despite how busy they often are. Already looking forward to my next chance to visit!

Lovely tea room in Haverhill. Decor perfect for a special tea experience - including tea parties and special occasions. Great range of homemade cakes. Some lovely teas available too. Range of children's beverages available. They also do light snacks and breakfast. We have been made to feel very welcome on every visit.

What a lovely and beautifully decorated place - I was in awe of all of the interior. We were made to feel really welcome from the beginning. We were waiting for a friend to arrive for a while and then at the end we sat chatting for ages and the staff were not pushy at all. The jacket potato was lovely and it was great value for money. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Leaking tea pot no corned beef long wait. However once tea and alternative sandwich received all OK. Maybe visit again.

Walked in from a very cold and wet dark afternoon into a delightful oasis of hot drinks and delicious cakes. The coffee and walnut cake and the mince pies and brandy cream were superlative and excellent value for money. The decour is a recreation of a bygone era and the staff are really helpful and attentive. A truly pleasant experience.

I had an hour to kill today and popped into Doffy's for an early lunch. I was greeted with a warm welcome, which is always the case however busy the staff are. Lunch was a delicious chunky vegetable soup and a very decent cup of tea. Good food, just like home.

This is a wonderful old fashioned tea room. Very friendly staff and a selection of lovely teas. My favourite is the Irish breakfast tea. The nicest toasted tea cakes. Even has a little play corner for children. Highly recommended.

Pleasant environment nice clean bright and comfortable and with nice vintage china which was also given to the children. Not very attentive to individual customer requests. Bread too thick and dry not that nice. Didn’t really enjoy the food but the atmosphere and staff were lovely despite the shop being short staffed, busy and under pressure.
