Dino's is great- you can tell as soon as you see the food that care has been taken over the preparation of it. Always tasty.

Tried the Syrian breakfast, nice and healthy 😋 customer service 10/10 from the waitress to the chef x

Halal but allergy requests ignored always and then refuses to give a refund when it's their fault.

The waiters are very kind, energetic and have good memories. There is a corner in the restaurant where handmade ornaments are available for purchase. The works are all very beautiful and elegant.

Just feel lucky to have a nice breakfast like this in the last day of 2023☺️ Nice food, nice coffee 👍🏼

Sat 15th July 14:30 I’m a regular and have ordered the same thing multiple times without complaint but noticed how they cheaped out by not adding the main and most expensive component of the mixed grill which is the lamb.. they either didn’t have stock but then they should of cancelled the order. They didn’t even alert me to say that it is missing. Won’t order again from this diner again as it feels like theft. Try your luck somewhere else in cowbridge road.

Really delicious food. Had the best falafel hummus. Partner had a huge potion of lamb kabseh. Proper coffee and real mango juice

Everything here is freshly made, the milkshakes and smoothies here are incredible and very nicely presented, the food is also very fresh with the fries being quite crispy.

This is the only place I go for breakfast!! The best sausages beans and eggs this side of Cardiff. Portion sizes are always generous and the cappuccino is better than the leading chains. If you're looking for good quality food, nice homely atmosphere and fantastic service, this is the place to make you smile.

I used to come here a lot but lately the mood has shifted, the food is OK and the staff I must admit are really friendly and welcoming....... Halal breakfast are few and far between in cardiff so this place could have huge potential, 6/10 would still recommend xx

If you have allergies I suggest not eating here and it doesn’t tell you on the menus My partner ordered food that do not state it has nuts that’s why he ordered it and the dish came out full of nuts

The key with coming to these types of places, is understanding the level that they're at. I'd recently been at the Chapter Arts Centre, where their small breakfast was almost £10. I'm greedy so I just wanted more food, for the same price. I was charged £7 for large breakfast, which consisted of beans, 4x eggs, bacon, 2x sausages, toast, tea, 2x hash browns and mushrooms. I believe that a cooked breakfast is a standard meal, so I'm not looking for hand reared chickens or pork from pigs, who've been raised as royalty. I got exactly what I needed, it filled my belly, staff were REALLY friendly, my meal arrived quickly, the place was clean and well maintained. I left happy 😊

We usual go there as the good is good. Unfortunately this visit was different We both had a wrap with sausage steak onion. Few hours later we had bad diarrhoea. Put us off going again

My first time coming with my sister, food was 10/10 and absolutely loved the fresh apple juice. Definitely coming here again. Service was amazing. New favourite cute little cafe.

It's a decent place when It comes to halal food especially if you're looking especially if you're craving a full English breakfast and want keep it Halal, on the other hand the outer and interior design of the place is a bit of a weird mixture that leaves a bit skeptical. Definitely recommended for the food but not the vibe tbh.

Ordered chicken breast and rice The chicken was overcooked so much that I couldn’t cut it. And it was getting stuck in my throat. My friend ordered the same and had a similar opinion Please improve this. Poor value for money

Well this was my first vist to Dino's Cafe. Has i walked passed the Cafe i looked though the window and Dino's looked very inviting . It was very clean and staff were very helpful and nice. i thought i would pop in and have something to eat. I had a big breakfast. It was very nice and when i received it, it was quit hot not like sometimes , ive been to some places and when i have my food sometimes it can be just warm not hot. Which to me thats not a good thing the meal was very nice and plenty of it . And it was only £5:00 for Breakfast and just £1:00 for a coffee. So for £6. I received a really nice meal . And i would deffently go back there. 👍👍👍👍.... thanks guys Jay

2 years ago I raved about this place to everyone. But was disappointed after coming here recently as portion sizes on actual steak on breakfast is barely existent

Lovely little café. Staff are nice and it's always clean, however they always seem to take cash and not card (nevertheless there is a card machine 2 doors away) also prices are good, wouldn't recommend lasagne as it was just a waste of money, the breakfast here is amazing and always hot when they serve. They also sell ice-cream.

Shocking Behaviour We went down for breakfast on Sunday 29th September, as we are regular customers and go down few times a month. Food always good and service is a hit and miss depending on when you go in but i never complain. We went as a group of 10 and to be honest i can understand it was a big order and they where understaffed which was fine , we set our own table waited over hour and a half for our breakfast.they didn’t have any beef steak gave us chips without letting us know. After we where all done my brothers food finally turned up.All in all food came we had it and left. This morning Wednesday 2nd October i went back to pick up an order And i have never felt this insulted in my life. The guy started swearing at me saying ‘Ba***rd don’t come back you gave a bad review‘. If i was going to review why would i go back ? All i did was tell him that i was in on Sunday and that i had to wait ages. He didn’t give me the food or a chance to explain told me to leave, so i came back with no food and had to listen to him swear at me repeatedly. Was in Cardiff for the weekend and found Dino’s halal breakfast online which had good reviews. However on arrival there was a queue of people waiting to order and then we waited over an hour for our food. Food was okay - but they ran out of steak which was compensated with an extra sausage.

I used to come here most of the time for breakfast and it used to be good and today I went there and it was disappointed the food was bland and no flavor

I ate here last weekend, and ordered a Greek Salad. They explained they hadn't mixed leaves, but only lettuce, which was fine. It arrived in good time,and they'd found a few extra leaves to add to lettuce. What I did not expect, and which was not mentioned as an ingredient on the menu, was an entire green chilli sliced and mixed in with it. A nasty surprise, and I spent a good three or four minutes hunting the pieces down - I do not like chilli. Hence only 3 stars. Other than that, it was a good Greek Salad, fresh leaves, nice feta, enough olives.

Went for meal with partner. Ordered baguette for my partner advertised as tikka layered with salad. It arrived as a panini and the salad slipped next to it. Was told that the panini is a baguette. Ordered cheese burger and chips. Burger was burnt and over cooked grated cheese and bun closed. Did not look appetising at all. Asked for replacement of panini to have it as advertised. Was told No and that the menu was wrong. Was told to leave when asked for refund. Had to demand the money was told to leave and never come back. Customer service skills are at a zero and very very rude. Gladly we won’t ever be going back.

Very good food and amazing service

One of the best "trucker" type diners I've eaten in for some time. Big breaky was only £5, and was big, filling and tasty. If a well cooked fry up is your thing then this is your place.

Amazing taste of Halloumi Baguette with a hot drink at breakfast time and everytime !

Went to this place for breakfast. Been here before and i think it is a great place. Had a big breakfast as i always do but decided to switch it up to fried bread for a change. Was disappointed with the fried bread and felt a little unwell after eating it because it was quite oily. Other than that everything was great! Great service, vibes and a great owner!

Convienently positioned on Canton High street. We popped in for a quick lunch, nothing special but a perfectly acceptable pizza was served. Not too expensive and plenty of choice on the menu. Was a slight wait for the food to be served but we were warned when we placed the order.

Great food, with lovely customer service. The cafe looks amazing; decor is contemporary with a hipster-chic vibe. Food was served within 15 mins of ordering and was very reasonably priced. Will most definitely be visiting here again!
