We ordered a Red Velvet Birthday cake for our son. We were impressed with being able to order the cake at short notice and have it delivered safely when we needed it. Staff were very friendly and polite. The cake was delicious and perfect for our celebration. Would definitely recommend and order from them again.

Just the best cakes in bath and so reasonable in terms of price. They put so much time, care and attention into it and always make the customer feel valued and listened to. My partner brought my birthday cake here (which was beautiful, pink ombre with flowers, fresh fruit and macarons on it and the most delicious, moist chocolate cake ever), I brought him and his mum cupcakes for their birthdays and then a little black forest gateau cake for him in the shape of a log with mushrooms on it - he loved it. And we've also ordered our wedding cake from Didi's and can't wait to try it. We reccomend them to anyone and everyone.

I ordered a macarons chocolate cake online, and they went above and beyond. Several times before placing the order, I reached out to them online to ask a few questions, and they always responded promptly and courteously. Finally, on the delivery day, I asked if they could contact me ahead of time because I was at work and didn't want to spoil the surprise. The driver, regardless of the rain, waited as much as he could for me and when he later tried to enter into the building, he did without giving away the content of the delivery. Then I met him there soon after. I've tried their cakes before, and they were just as moist, rich, chocolatey, and delicious all together. Furthermore, the macarons on top of the cake, which I thought would have been mostly for decoration, were actually yummy and chewy.

The most amazing cupcakes I've ever seen, a work of art. Beautiful presentation, great selection of cakes delivered on time. Reasonably priced. Will definitely order again. If your looking for something more decadent than shop bought these are definitely what you need. You won't be disappointed. Great work DidiCakes

Had a chocolate cake delivered to Bristol and it was very good. They delivered it on time, and they have great customer service and were able to accommodate all my requests.

I Order the biscoff vegan cake online.The process of ordering was really easy and I was able to pick my delivery slot which was a huge bonus meaning I didn’t have to trek into Bath to collect. I ordered 6 cupcakes which I had delivered on Tuesday 16th January. Each and every cupcake was as delicious as the previous one. I kept them in the fridge for the 6 days, and they all stayed moist and buttercream remained soft. Will definitely recommend didicakes, and plan to do future orders especially for my birthday.

The on-line ordering and delivery process was very easy and efficient and when I did want to speak with someone, I was served with utmost professionalism and care. Fabulous Ferrero Rocher cake- it was a lovely 80th birthday surprise. Ganache was smooth as silk and the chocolate cake was incredibly moist. Excellent service too. Will be back another time!

Didi cakes have excellent service responding to emails promptly and fully. They made a stunning cake for my daughters 18th birthday working exactly to a picture we had provided. The cake itself was of superb quality and tasted lovely while the icing and decorating was simply brilliant. Whilst it might seem expensive it was definitely worth it for a special occasion. The cake exceeded our expectations of decoration and taste.

Ordered a 21st Birthday cake for my son who’s staying in Bath at the omens. I wanted something special as we wouldn’t be seeing him on the day. Didicakes seemed the obvious choice with good range of cakes and delivery. Chose the football cake and it exceeded all expectations. Hello Didicakes (Andrew) I got my 65th birthday cake last month delivered it was belated birthday I had it yesterday. It was gorgeous cake everyone loves my cake it was kept in the fridge two weeks ago. I got some leftovers home put it in my fridge, it was soggy should be ok! Thank you so much for doing this for me. It was my 1st time to order it, not quite heavy so good!! 😋😄

A little pricey for what we received. Purchased a cake due to our regular cake baker unavailable & thought we would try Didi’s cakes. The cake was ok for me a little too sickly & melted rather quickly. The service was ok but not great. Personally we wouldn’t purchase again due the high price & average cake. However we do appreciate providing us a cake at rather short notice.

Purchased a box of 4 cupcakes passing by the shop. 1 of the three was nice the other 3 were all stale, icing was rock hard and came away from the cake in a solid single piece as picture shows, the cake itself was also hard and stale. Not a exaggeration couldn’t eat the three stale ones went straight in the bin.

I ordered a cupcake bouquet as a gift for some friends. Not only did they look fantastic but they tasted great too! Pick up went smoothly and the lady who served me was very nice. Good to support a local independent business.

I didn’t order earlier as there were concerns that Covid restrictions would spoil our plans for my fathers 80th birthday. They responded promptly and communication was very clear. I live abroad and have ordered your exquisite flower bouquets for my daughter on 2 recent occasions. The service was first class and my communication with Andrew was uncomplicated. The orange and blue bouquet, which contained custom colors to match a logo, was "spot on." Visually they are the most beautiful cupcakes that I have ever seen. My daughter said that every single cupcake tasted as good as it looked!! I cannot wait to visit Bath so that I can try them for myself!!

I would not use this company again. I paid a decent amount for a special 50th Birthday Cake . When I picked it up The day before the birthday I was told that I needed to keep it in the fridge. Unfortunately I do not have a fridge that is large enough for a decent sized cake! I kept it in a cool bag in the coolest part of the house but within 18 hours it had completely collapsed! Totally unappetising, none of it was eaten. I spoke to the girls in the shop and got a half hearted apology and that was it!

Ordered a 21st birthday cake with a frozen theme. Didi cakes managed to tailor the cake to fit my particular requests perfectly! Spoke to someone in the shop via phone and asked about cake orders. Asked if they had sufficient time to deliver the following week - they confirmed they did but asked me to send them an email with the details, which I did. I called 3 days later as I had received no conformation. They had missed the order and as a result of it "being very hot", they said, they could not help. Very poor service. and I was left trying to scramble about getting a cake in just 2 days. They blamed the owner for taking the order and did not apologise!!!!!

We walked in to ask about the possibility of making our wedding cake 3 months before our wedding day. Spoke to a pleasant lady in the shop who said they’d call us in two week’s time to discuss it. We thought brilliant and reassured that we were able to organise something. 3 weeks later we hadn’t heard anything. I followed up with a phone call and there was no knowledge of our original request. So I thought we’ll ask again, as we had plenty of time, the gentleman I spoke with asked for an email with photos of what we were looking and I sent this across the same day. I called to ask about progress to my enquiry 4 weeks later. I was told ‘we have received a lot of emails and we’ll get to it each one in order’. I thought ok I’ll wait - it’s now 3 days before my wedding and I have no contact or cake from Didi’s cakes. Appalling service. Update after response from owner: I see you are trying to invalidate my review; however, as I spoke to a colleague in the shop, spoke with someone twice on the phone and sent an email to provide cake design ideas then I am fully entitled to review the customer service even though, an order or money had not exchanged hands. I am reviewing your ability to manage your workload and tell customers who you cannot help, that you cannot help them instead of leaving them in the dark. Here’s an example of how your reply should’ve sounded: ‘I’m terribly sorry that you were unhappy with the communication from ourselves. We had a lot of requests after lockdown and as a result, we’ve been unable to cope with the demand we’ve received. We’re sorry that your request slipped through the net but please drop in and we’ll try to make it up to you. We hope that you will consider Didi’s Cakes for any future event that you need a cake for. Congratulations on your wedding in 3 days time. I hope it all goes well. Kind regards, Didi’s Cakes’ That reply would’ve made me return for coffee, or a cake or a custom design. Instead your petulant reply with an, almost incendiary, ‘we have never, we have never, we have never’ will mean that I, nor anyone I know, will bother to. We’ve tasted your cakes before and they’ve been very lovely. I do hope you can improve on your communication and professionalism.

I ordered my wedding cake, which was enjoyed yesterday by about 30 people. My request was made about a week before the wedding, there was a slight delay as my email got caught in google spam but all it took was a call and Andrew promptly picked up the conversation. The cake was double tier. After listening to my ideas, Andrew suggested to have the almond cake with jam and frosting inside (like a victoria sponge cake) and the result was absolutely delicious, the second tier coffee walnut which was also well appreciated. I loved the coffee walnut, but I personally found the almond and raspberry a true surpise. The cake was ordered "naked" so we could arrange our own flowers and it was simply perfect. I was glad to see that Andrew agreed the delivery time with the venue and stayed on top of everything. Lovely family business. Thank you for being so reliable, and having added a sweet note to my loving wedding!

It’s was my daughters’ 21st birthday earlier this week. She’s a student in Bristol. I Wanted to surprise her with a cake. I live in Singapore. I googled and even called quite a few Cake shops. None did deliveries. . Didi cakes offered this service. I spoke to Andrew and he PATIENTLY listened to my many requests. Didi cakes designed a very beautiful 2 tier cake for her. As I was not living in Bristol I was very worried about the cake. I called several times to ensure that all was going well. The staff entertained my many calls very CALMLY. The CAKE arrived on time at my daughters doorstep. The pics of the cake look so beautiful. Thank you Andrew and team for the excellent job and being so patient with me. I Highly recommended!!!! 👏👏

I want to say a huge thank you to DidiCakes in Bath. My friends ordered a chocolate cake for my 40th birthday, but unfortunately I'd gone away to Devon! It was redelivered to another address, but it was the wrong address (our fault!). DidiCakes said they'd look after the cake for me, but when I went to pick it up yesterday, they told me they were baking me a fresh one. I picked it up today, and it's absolutely delicious. I'm quite picky about chocolate cake, and it's easily one of the best I've ever tasted! Rich, but not too rich. A lovely amount of icing, and beautiful lettering on the top. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for my friends and I. I cannot recommend you enough for not only your beautiful cakes, but also your amazing service.

Didi Cakes provided a two tier round lemon sponge naked iced wedding cake for my younger daughter’s wedding in Bristol. The cake was beautifully light, superb texture, perfect lemon flavour and was specially delivered on the morning completed by fresh flowers as specified on the cake. Guests loved the cake and the cake cut most beautifully. Good communication with Andrew throughout regarding the cake order. Can’t wait for an excuse to order another cake. Thank you cake team.

Didicakes is undoubtedly one of the best cake makers within the south west of the region. Having communicated professionally throughout with regards to delivery, they offered a clear and concise plan with regards to getting the cake to me which arrived in perfect condition.

I was delighted with the cupcake bouquet that I ordered for my auntie's 60th birthday. She absolutely loved them and sent me some pictures of them, they were even better than I hoped they'd be. The detail was just amazing, you'd think they were real flowers! Really happy with everything, thank you.

Had a delicious slice of cake, however the coffee was one of the worst I’ve ever had - watered down, no foam and tasted horrific.

Chose this place based of the reviews so thought I’d leave one. Fair to say I was not disappointed. Went for the Black Forest and it was incredible! Haven’t tried any of their other cakes but if that one was anything to go by then I highly recommend this place!

Delicious cake and beautifully made and decorated. Ordering was easy and they were quick to respond to my enquiries about the order. Delivery was prompt and there were no issues at all. I've used DidiCakes several times and highly recommended them, the service and cakes are top notch every single time.

I ordered the floral bouquet cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. She was thrilled with them, saying they were the most beautiful cake she's ever seen. And, they were delicious as well. I couldn't be happier. That you, DidiCakes!!

Such as shame. I bought four different cupcakes yesterday. The staff were friendly and helpful. The presentation was pretty and interesting. However the lemon cake and the raspberry & almond cake were the same bland sponge mix except for some almond essence in the raspberry cake. The lemon curd was of such poor quality that I had to scrape it off and I don't think the icing was natural lemon juice. The vegan chocolate cake was quite nice and moist. The other chocolate cake was fine. I was looking for quality ingredients over unicorns, sprinkles and two inches of bland icing I'm afraid.
