Food was meh - nothing special

I eat at DiMaggio a few times per year. Food is good. Service is good. Small soft play available for smaller children. Small outside play area ok for the drier weather. Good value.

The food the service and the atmosphere was all done seamlessly it was also good value for the price so all in all you really couldn't ask for more

Food was OK, nothing spectacular, nothing wrong with it, but I feel it was overpriced. Waitress was the same like the food, ok, done the basics, but nothing above. I'm not looking for the staff to treat me like a celebrity, just a bit more energy and friendliness. My daughter spilled a full glass of lemonade, but no refill was offered. The whole visit left us underwhelmed, won't be going back any time soon.

Food was stone cold pizza pasta and mozzarella bites all stone cold

Ordered pasta, chips and ice cream deal. The order was late and the food was cold. I had to reheat both chips and the pasta but unfortunately the chips were beyond saving. Very disappointed and this would put me off ordering from here again. Although the pasta tasted nice once reheated it was waste of money.

Good food, although too salty again (pizza base and sauce). Young, nice attending waiters. Well arranged floor. At the same time, you have space and cosiness of booth.

Be very careful with Di Maggio's offers. The wording is very 'particular'. Management attitude is 'not my problem - take it up with head office'. So be warned over their Jan 24 offer.....it is NOT for the whole of January.

Good if you have kids. Don’t have kids it’s a 👎🏻

Great helpful staff...Nice food

It was a lovely looking restaurant, we had a lovely time, a bit too near the softplay for us, service was a bit slow but staff were very busy and nice. We had the calamari, which was tasteless and a bit chewy. Everything else was nice, ying yang chicken and chicken in peppercorn sauce, with a few drinks each, it came to just shy of £100 for 4.

Absolutely shocking paid £82 and got half a tun of calamari and the carbonara was half a tub also. Extremely unhappy as I usually order from you but I won’t be again after this treatment. I have the pictures to prove:

Visited on Tuesday 19th at 18:45 Disappointed by a few factors Slow service from waiting staff had to wait 28 minutes after mains to be offered a desert menu then a further 20 Mins for the bill to arrive The cheesecake was terrible a frozen bought in product no Taste to it topped of with a frozen berry compote they used to make lovely cheesecakes here not no more it seems

Collection time was 5:05pm and was ready and waiting when I got there - however it was cold when we got home -(5 min drive ) - so I assume it was sitting for a while before we collected - the food was still good- this is the first time it’s happened - so write it off to one of those things

Been a regular customer for years as our children and now grandchildren all love going here. This time no different with two grandkids in tow, both thoroughly enjoyed their visit both for the food but also the soft play area. Great friendly and efficient service. Our meals were excellent as well . I opted for the "special" meal of the day which is a welcome recent addition to the menu and didn't disappoint. Good sized portions and not bad priced either. Suffice to say we will be back.

The food was tasty and well presented, I especially enjoyed the spicy wings and the children loved their pizza!! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Small but clean soft play area. Looking forward to our next visit.

Arrived right on time. Plenty of meat compared to some other takeaways who skimp. Will definitely re order this.

Some items were missing and it was on the cold side. The restaurant has gone down hill since the last time I ordered.

Food was excellent with top quality service. If you are not going with children get a seat away from the play area. If you have children with you it's great for keeping them amused. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Lovely food as always, quick delivery

Food was ordered at 5.45pm for 7pm delivery. Came at at7.25 pm and was Stone cold, and it was a Tuesday night so not the busiest night of the week.

I can't tell you how many times I have driven past here and never for one second did I give it a second thought I never did think that it would be as nice inside. I wanted to go out with my wife but didn't want to go into Glasgow, I came across an itison deal and gave it a bash. The servers were super friendly, we had two frozen cocktails and two starters. Calamari and focaccia both really good size dishes and really fresh. We then had the fusili espagnola and pizza. The pasta was piping hot which I loved and the chorizo was melt in the mouth. Really pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back

After a bad experience exactly one year Today since we had been in the restaurant we had a really much better experience today for the same child’s birthday. Last year had bad experience with rude manager but today there seems to be a new manager and service was much quicker, we all enjoyed our meals and staff were on the ball, thanks for making our day enjoyable we will be back , we used to come here weekly so my hubby was happy today and Happy to be a regular again

Pizza was cold to touch .Had to reheat in oven. Container with separate toppings in chilli oil had not been closed properly and spilled on to everything else in bag. On top of being late with delivery.

Was in today with family celebrating my husband's birthday. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was lovely and made better that the kids ate free. Great little soft play area keeping the kids occupied while waiting for/after eating food. Would definitely be back.

Been lots of times. Last visit was less than standard we're used to. Had to return starter as sauce was watery. Normally would give 5 star.

Lovely staff and nice food. The nougat wafer ice cream special was superb. Enjoyed our evening which was made much better by the friendly and welcoming staff.

Food was cold and pepperoni was hard, very disappointing

Food was cold by the time I got back to my house and I only stay a few minutes away from the restaurant.

Although food was delivered within time. Food was cold when it arrived and had to be reheated at home.

Never ever a let down with the bacon cheeseburger, amazing everytime.

Received wrong order, just received a plain burger as opposed to the cheese and bacon burger which was ordered.

Pizza was sadly cold so had to put it in microwave but still tasty

Was in tonight 15th June. Service was excellent and food was delicious. The girls were all very friendly and had a lot of time for my little grandson. Would definitely recommend 👌

My 8 year old daughter had an amazing pizza party last Saturday. The staff could not have been more helpful with Casey and Marnie looking after the group of 19 girls and the handful of adults who stayed and ordered coffees/lunch etc. They could not have been more fun and attentive with the party guests and the pizzas, toppings, juice and ice cream sundaes were plentiful and delicious! The staff had arranged all the party bags and it is really excellent value for money for a kids party with a difference. I highly recommend it, great staff communication before the party and even better when we arrived! Superb service and we will be back as a family for a meal for sure. Thank you 🙏🏻

Received wrong order, spent 15/20 mins trying to sort as no one called back to say order was being fixed. Must have got the food from the other address as it was freezing cold when we finally received it. Our order was 20 and we got order 21. Didn’t think restaurants could pick up food from a house and give to another customer. Just doesn’t seem right as anything could happen to the food.

Everything perfect but don't just dump it on the floor were not animals. Wouldn't even have a chance to check if the order was correct or not because the driver was off before I opened the door

Visited with my family for my daughters birthday and meal was terrible table of 8 and not one of our party enjoyed our food. our starters where ok if a bit underwelming our main courses of Lasagne was really salty pizza greasey , mac and cheese tastless other pastas where really bland. I have been before and enjoyed but on this experiance i wouldnt return, on the up side service was really good girls and guy who served us where really pleasent.no compliants ther if food was as good as service be a great place but unfortunatey iwas nt food is way below par

Regular customer for nearly 10 years. Waited 2+ hours on a Tuesday night. Called restaurant. Food obviously cold. Didn’t care said I would get a credit. Didn’t tell me for how much or how I would get it. So disappointed

Myself and my family are regular visitors to this restaurant as it has a soft play for my 5 year old daughter and 6 year old autistic son . The waiting staff are really friendly and great with kids and this review is no fault of theirs as the young girl who served us was an absolute credit to the restaurant . However on Sunday 12th of February 2023 I had an unforgettable experience which was seen by over 60/100 customers . After our meal I paid the bill nearly £100 then me and my family left the restaurant , as I reversed my car out the car park the MANAGER punched my car window 3 times !!! My wife was terrified as were my kids I rolled the car window down and the MANAGER shouted “GET IN AND PAY YOUR BILL” at which point my wife showed him the payment on her phone screen on online banking app , his reply was I don’t care what your phone says you’ve not paid get it paid! He spoke in a very aggressive tone and I explained your scaring my kids . I then went back into the restaurant where the waiter I paid the bill to said he had explained the bill was paid to the manager . The staff were really embarrassed at the way the male manager acted and spoke to me I then said you haven’t even apologised for punching my car in which he called me a liar (I have a dash cam as my son is autistic for safety which is proof) .....His reply was that he never knew it was paid so it was not his fault and that how was he to know my son was autistic !!! So NO APOLOGY WAS GIVEN , then as I was leaving he said behind my back it’s not the first time you have not paid ! The staff at this point were red faced and embarrassed so I asked if he had any proof of such an accusation of which he had none . It was a very awkward confrontation and other customers who were waiting for a table started to leave and go else where also other customers actually said to the Manager that he was bang out of order as my son was breaking his heart and they stated they will NEVER be back in that restaurant. I said to him if you can show me a time and date that I have not paid I’ll pay just now he said it was another manager who was on so he does not have details but he then asked me to forget about him saying that and still NO APOLOGY to my wife or son who’s at this point heartbroken. A young guy very tall with blonde hair who works there then asked could I come outside as the customers didn’t need to witness this .. my reply to him was my wife and son have had to witness it but I obliged as my blood was boiling at the manager who I can only describe as having the worst communication skills I have ever witnessed not even in the hospitality industry but any other industry for that matter . The young guy took me and my son outside and apologised on behalf of di maggios and his manager which was decent of him but I felt he took control of a terrible situation created by the most senior member of staff . I will be posting this review on every Autism friendly group I’m in on social media as I never wish any other non autistic or autistic child for that matter to feel like that when they are out with their family spending £100 on a meal in a time where there is a cost of living crisis . PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS WHILST THIS MANIAC IS IN CHARGE ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE AND IT IS A SHAME AS STAFF MEMBERS ARE LOVELY BUT WHEN THEY AGREED WITH MY POINT OF VIEW THE WAY HE SPOKE TO THEM AND LOOKED AT THEM WAS DISGUSTING.
