Pizza,was fab tasty, bolougnaise, cheesy garlic bread cooked to perfection.one fault the chips were abit scrappy.customer no 34 tonight .gd value for your money.

I don’t get fish and chips often but when I do it’s from here (or occasionally the kebab meet, chips and salad when I really want to treat myself). Always good standard and if you call ahead you get an order number so no queueing. The visit this weekend got me a free sample of tartar sauce which I never really bother with but this was delicious. Fish and chips have got expensive these days, best to pick the best places to buy it from.

Got served by a lovely man with the nicest smile ever. Was really friendly,created an amazing atmosphere, tripled checked the order and kept on offering salt and vinegar. Food was banging and usual and even got a free slice of pizza. 100/10

Just put Fish and Chips in the bin Fish cooked but no taste what fish was it ? Batter not cooked so soggy Chips not great so many bits and not enough chips What a disgrace Will never return

Excellent fish and chips and pizzas

Ordered regular cod and chips and curry. Served in a box so thought this going to be a great portion. Couldn't find the fish at first as it was under a mountain of chips which were nice. Found the fish, half the size of the box, would have expected bigger as this was the size of most small fish at other chippies and batter was too soggy all stuck to the box oil clearly not at the right temperature. Curry sauce tasted good but was like water.

Shuts early without notice and not as advertised. But good food if you get there in time! Don't have a problem with 10pm cut off but just change your advertised opening hours accordingly

Best chippy around, live in Greenside and I drive over just to go here. Owner is lovely too, even gave my son a free brownie.

I have been going to Dhillons for over a year now and honestly it was fantastic but recently it’s been a bit of a shambles. The size portions have gotten a lot smaller, this looks more like a kids meal then an adults meal, I’m 8 half stone and even this didn’t fill me 😳 You get more scabby chips than actual fluffy chips and not a lot of gravy because the tubs are to small that you might as well not ask for gravy if I’m honest, plus it doesn’t help they keep forgetting my scraps even though I have asked for them. The only positive I can give right now is you can order online and click and collect with a time slot.

Always great food, best to call ahead as this is a very busy takeaway because it's so good, staff are very friendly too.

The family absolutely love the food from Dhillons it's always freshly made, the kebabs and pizza's are something you will keep returning for I know we do. We travel all the way from Seghill to Throckley to buy them. Give them a try you will definitely enjoy all the food from Dhillons and the staff are always lovely ring before you go they will let you know what time to collect your food.

I popped in to get a fish and chips at 10.25pm not realising they close at 10.30pm. I was asked if I wanted to try their homemade patties. I ordered a corn beef one and a homemade fish cake. I was also given a homemade patty to try. All were very good and full of flavour.

I usually go to prudhoe but thought I’d try out throckley, it was lovely i got a kebab wrap with salad and garlic and was beautiful! It was such a big portion. Staff are lovely

I normally use the prudhoe shop which is excellent but I was passing through throckley and called into dhillons I’ve been a few times which have been great I got a 12 “ volcano pizza which was out of this world loads of toppings and so fresh I also got the home made cheese patty and chips for my son and he loved them thanks again Dhillons 5 stars for you and your staff see you soon 5 *****

Been to dhillons for our family Tea and was absolutely beautiful as always the halloumi and sweet chilli fishcakes are to die for! The food is exceptional and staff are always well mannered already cannot wait for another fish and chip tea :)

Tonight the service was atrocious. Serviced after someone who ordered the same thing as me, after me. Staff more concerned with ensuring they had got the right alcohol from the shop next door.

Often miss items from order (payed for). Won't give the items paid for that they missed off the order. Had fish that tasted like its been re heated/hours old.

Took the kids for fish and chips on good Friday and I couldn’t fault it was absolutely amazing kids really enjoyed it and will definitely recommend going and trying it out

Update: Just called in for fish and chips on Good Friday. Fairly organised but still busy. The food wasn't great. Over cooked dry fish with a burnt taste. The chips were also dry and over cooked. The highlight was the mushy peas, which added a bit of moisture to a mediocre meal. Disappointing.

Easter Good Friday service amazing, staff were organised, operating as a team and food was served on-time. Great service as usual, exceptional service for one of the busiest days of the year!

Very disappointed in our meal tonight. Fish very dry and overcooked, chips overcooked and loads of little hard ones. Charged £15.70 for 2 fish and 1 portion of chips!

Delicious food and a friendly service. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. Their chicken burgers are made of actual chicken not processed meat and are amazing so you must try them. Not many chip shops around as good as this. Highly recommended.

Very good fish and chips. In fact everything is if very nice quality and at a decent price. The service can sometimes be slow, when only one person is serving customers. Ordering ahead by phone doesn't seem to make it any quicker either. Always busy and that speaks volumes.

My Girlfriend and I came down on Monday night for a Donner kebab, Cheese Pattie, Corned beef Pattie and a sausage and omg was so beautiful and juicy. Truly do recommend coming here and trying their food 😄

Parking can be a problem but the shop in genral is OK still following some corvid guidelines phone orders still in place but you can go in for service staff nice and polite..food is hot...on collection...

Not quite as good as it used to be, fish was not as fresh as usual.

I went in late last night, and even though they were just about to close, they went out their way to make sure we got something and we didn’t leave empty handed. Customer service was excellent, and they were super friendly. Thanks guys
