Ronald kindly donated 30 fish and chips to City Hospice for international Nurses day all are nurse are still talking about how fresh the chips and fish was this place as got to be a must visit location for your freshly prepared fish and chips. Thank you for your kind donation to Ronald at Devonia.

I saw Devonia on my way to work, took down the details of the shop and thought I would give it a try one lunchtime! I wanted a takeaway, no problem for the shop, and the food was nicely contained in a box, so kept the food warm. I had a fishcake and chips, and the fishcake, apart from being delicious, was huge! So my meal, fishcake and chips, was both appetizing and filling!! Will be ordering again! Great find!!

Really good fish and chips cooked well so fish was nice and crispy and no soggy chips. The owners are very friendly and happy to help.

Honestly the best chips in cardiff... just had a homemade fishcake and it was absolutely divine and tried the home made beef curry which literally melted in my mouth! Besg chip shop food ive ever had by far

We got one fish and chips, 2 curry sauce, 2 large sausages and 2 large chips for our Saturday lunch , first time we have ordered from here and to say I was disappointed was an understatement . Fish was all batter, sausages were cremated, curry sauce was lumpy and the chips looked as if they had been cooked yesterday and reheated today . Worst take away I’ve ever had . I will not be returning and I’d advise others to pass

Top quality spicy chicken curry a fair bit of cod and good chips, nice bloke that served us too, highly recommend chucking some cheese up on the spicy chicken curry

Lovely fish and chips with curry I couldn’t believe how big the portions were as well as being great value for money. Recently moved across the road will defiantly be a regular staff are always friendly even when walking past with the dog.

In Cardiff for a WHO conference and decided to pop in for a bite. Food was great, worth every penny.

This is not your average Chip shop. Fair play to the owner, he keeps coming up with new and innovative foods to try. For example his home made fish cakes with Tumeric, or cinnamon. Or A mushroom curry. He also does great chips and more standard foods such as sausages and fish. His Battered Mushrooms are unique as well. The atmosphere is great and the owner is always up for a chat even if he can be a little blunt at times, but then again who isnt. He only takes cash though.

This place does top quality food and to top it off offers homemade fishcakes , curries and much more pop a visit and you won't be disappointed

My husband popped in to the Devonia fish and chip shop one lunch time, as we were passing by. The Shop was very clean,and the owner very friendly and chatty, He cooked the fish and chips to order. They were still hot, and tasty when we arrived home 😋 and the portions were just right.

Great food at a very reasonable price. I have never been disappointed with the food.Very friendly staff make your visit even nicer.

Aparezco a menudo, el dueño es un tipo muy amable y hablador.El pescado se cocina a pedido y no se puede criticar el tamaño de las porciones. Precios muy razonables y hacen un sabroso pollo al curry y arroz tan picante como quieras. Venga, inténtalo… … … … … … . :)

my wife got fish and chips from here for us both, to take away. the chips were under cooked and the fish was burnt! and it was expensive. not recommended!! we won't be going back.

We were staying with family in the area and decided on Fish and Chips. What a bad choice of shop,worst we have every had. Batter on the fish was verging on burnt,the chips weren't much better.Tasted of burnt oil. Terrible.

Been here on many occasions The food is always lovely. With an excellent choice and reasonably priced.

Have been to devonia a few times and have enjoyed the food every time, I will deffinately be going back there and I would deffinately recommend to anyone 10/10

Popped in for fish and chips plus chicken off the bone curry and rice. Lovely food and the prices are extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back.

We bought 3 bags of chips and 2 cartons of curry sauce......all cold. Yuk! Very low standard. Would be no stars but can’t put that. Only went here because Yans was shut. Next time will wait till Yans is open.

Thick soggy batter and chips that feel/taste like they've been hanging out in the fryer for weeks! Yans is better unfortunately.

Yo le daría a este lugar un cero, pero esa opción no está disponible. Yo vivo localmente y he probado este sitio 4 o 5 veces recientemente. Nunca abierto! A pesar de ir cuando usted espera un "fish and chips" para ser abierto (sábado por la Noche, miércoles por la noche), el horario de apertura de la ventana y los tiempos en el internet. No pierdas tu tiempo!

Hello you this shop has Art Deco it's a must for food price fish cooked to order and a lot to pick if you are in cardiff it's a must every time even children or beef or king prawn curry just the best even a sausage 12"inches long give it a go

Muy caro para lo que es, patatas fritas son una sábana de puñado de un pedazo de pescado en una caja. No es en absoluto relación calidad-precio y no es adecuado para compartir no es suficiente ni para 1 persona. El personal no les importa y poníamos furiosos probablemente como theyd sido apresuramos sus pies. Parece que la mitad de la porción del tamaño de una caja y dos veces más

No se aceptan pagos con tarjeta. apestaba actitud en el old man detrás de la barra, todo me y un colegio hizo fue preguntarme si él tenía cualquier almuerzo tiempo ofertas, conseguimos un irrespetuoso respuesta. Las patatas fritas eran gotear en grasa y correosos , salchichas picantes sabor como cartón. No volvería allí.
