Deraliye in Enfield

Me and my boyfriend have come here multiple times now for lunch . The food is exceptional . The grilled chicken is so juicy and one of the nicest I’ve ever had . The bread and starters are really good . I tried a cocktail over the weekend and it was very nice . I usually go at lunch and it’s quiet and cozy . Staff are lovely too . Honestly a hidden gem .

Went for dinner for the third time with friends recently. Another fantastic meal - food was superb. The restaurant also has a really nice setting too, with a good vibe. It can be a little noisy in there, but hey it's good to have some life. Will definitely visit again

It was such a delicious food. In my opinion this is one of the best Turkish restaurant in North of London. Every dish that we ordered was fresh, good quality and delicious. Service is great as well. Highly recommended..

First time here for a date night, really nice place, the service on point and the food super good. We will come back to keep exploring the menu, this time the grilled Seabass and the vegetables Moussaka did the magic.

My client took me to this restaurant for lunch. Despite it being very quiet, the food took ages to arrive. The chicken thighs were very fatty and the sides average. Overall a very bland experience.

First time coming. We ordered a grill platter. I Have been to alot Turkish restaurants but the quality and taste of food is by far the best I've tasted. To top it off fantastic service the staff couldn't do enough for us and we never needed to call anyone over, they were consistanly on top of everything bringing clean plates and cleaning the table and topping up our drinks without asking. Overall a lovely family friendly restaurant. Will definitely be back. Thank you

This is a wonderful restaurant, the food is amazing, We had the mixed grill and every bite was succulent and juicy! Also the service was really good and the restaurant itself was clean and well decorated.

Stumbled across this gem by accident and luckily got one of the few tables remaining. Food was amazing, one of the best meals I've ever had (goose kebab). Would highly recommend if visiting Istanbul. Given 4 stars for the Atmosphere, as was seated outside with a lot of cars driving past.

While passing by, we saw the Turkish Cuisine sign and wanted to try it. The taste of the appetizers was on my palate throughout the journey... You should definitely try the tarama and beans with olive oil. I think the octopus is one of the best in this restaurant. It is cooked well. The people are attentive and friendly. If you want to drink raki, you are in the right place...

Everything about the restaurant is amazing. We were 7 people and ordered cold mezze and mixed grill platter. The lamb and chicken taste from another world.

Sometimes you have those Turkish places that have Turkishish fast food. This is not that. Proper restaurant with quality dishes. I could do with more vegetable based dishes. But that's probably just me. (Turkey has wonderful dishes that are not mostly meat) The meat and fish (And the Aubergine/egg plant) were very well prepared.

My girlfriend and I had business to attend to in Cockfosters and walked down the High Road and came across this delightful, classy, beautiful restaurant. On going in, we were greeted by a very helpful and pleasant waitress who took the time to explain the menu and we ordered Baked Aubergines with a gin and tonic drink and Grilled Chicken Wings with Grilled Vegetables, both dishes were tastfully presented, beautifully laid out and the food was simply delicious, plus the Sorbet Dessert the Raspberry one was simply wonderful and tasty. It was a real pleasure to sit there and eat this lovely food and the customer service was simply excellent and the manager and waitress could not do enough for us bearing in mind I have allergies to milk and egg. We will definitely go and eat and frequent this restaurant again. The upholstery and mosaics on the wall were simply breathtaking and gave a real touch of class and history to the place. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a taste and penchant for comfortable surroundings, tasty food, excellent customer service and a lovely and beautifully decorated restaurant. Went with friends this evening and the service was unfriendly and at points downright rude. 2 stars rather than 1 because the hummus was quite good!

Very nice space, great service, tasty food but very small and pricey portions. Mixed shish is just 3 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of lamb (6 pieces of meat in total) and costs £25 including the service charge. You need a minimum of £40 per person. You can find many better options further down the road.

The restaurant had a very ambient atmosphere and the interior decor was pleasing to the eye. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and very helpful (would make suitable menu recommendations). The food was delicious and served on time. We had the lamb chops, which was perfectly cooked (aromatic and tender). Starter menu was also delicious: prawns were flavoursome and the sausage was perfectly spiced. Overall, a very good dining experience.

Went on a Saturday night. Service and food was lovely and very accommodating even with our young children.

Overall my restaurant experience at Deraliye was incredible. The food was amazing especially the kebabs and the appetisers. At the end of the meal the apple tea was especially delicious. We finished our meal with a dessert that was a 10/10. This restaurant not only had excellent food, but the service was also very good. The waiters were super friendly and welcoming and the food came quickly. Our main waiter was Zeydan who was extremely nice and made our time in the restaurant very good. An amazing experience! Thank you!

Lol...friend and I laugh often about this place as being the most outrageous place of anywhere we have ever been. And we have been all over the UK ..we had 2 coffees and a piece of stale cake . Cost me £22....

Beautiful restaurant. We come here for all our special occasions. The £100 platter may seem deer but it is easily enough for at least 6 or more people with around 40 bits of meat along with the cous cous and rice etc

A quick dinner turned into a lovely surprise. We sat down at this Turkish restaurant, expecting standard quality food. To our big surprise the food was above the average for this kind of venue. The interior is grand and wonderful, something that doesn’t always translate to great tasting food. Not at Deraliye. The food was superb. Adana kebab, lamb shish, calamari, hummus and all the rest of our food was very delicious. I have 2 suggestions to the management, though. Less potatoes in the octopus salad and add Künefe to the dessert menu. I was very happy with this gem of a Turkish restaurant. Noted down in my “to be repeated” list. Obviously, highly recommended.

Really disappointing. The food was good, but very overpriced. However the service was appalling. Rude waiter who thought he was too good for us. Very arrogant and unpleasant. I was with a group of friends for a nice relaxing evening and to talk and catch up, however the music was so loud, we could hardly hear each other. We asked several times, if they could turn it down, but were refused. I definitely won't be returning.

The food at Deraliye is delicious (although extremely expensive). Unfortunately it is let down by the attitude of the waiter who was unfriendly, unhelpful and arrogant throughout our visit. The music was so loud it was like being in a nightclub (at 7pm) and we politely asked him to turn it down very slightly as we were having to shout at each other to be heard. He was rude and dismissive and this attitude continued all evening which is extremely annoying, particularly when you consider the very high prices. Six of us were in our party-not one of us will ever return to Deraliye.

Would be a 5 star if the music was quieter. Difficult to hear and converse.

I've visited this restaurant for lunch and dinner and both times were fantastic. The presentation is simple, but the food (we had the mixed shish) was fresh and delicious with generous portions. The service was very friendly and quick. They also make great cocktails, would highly recommend the Istanbul Dark 👌

Food wasn’t excellent but decent. Was very pricey for the portion size we got. There were flies and wasp, kept sitting on our food. Was this enjoyable…no. Great service from the server. The tip is whopping 12.5%, that should be optional. It’s sad it’s already added to the bill, so when you attempt to ask it to be removed it’s embarrassing. Best place the net bill to customer’s satisfaction they can put down how much they can tip.

Pleasant food except they had run out of 2 dishes I wanted. Oddly we were the only 2 people in there. Air conditioning worked well on a very hot day

We were booked into this restaurant at 2.30pm yesterday, travelling from the Midlands to watch a concert. Have to say we were really looking forward to it, I would usually not write a review like this - but at 13.49 with no contact our booking was cancelled online with no explanation leaving us to find somewhere else. Shame considering the food looks very nice & generally the reviews are good. I wouldn't let this review put you off going but it was more a gentle reminder to the owners to perhaps be a little more considerate!

We, as a family, often eat at Deraliye; we believe they offer the best food in our local area. We find that the meat is of a very good fresh quality and of succulent flavour; But everythingelse on their Menu is as good and excellent. We do enjoy the food here all the time.

Great food and friendly staff, feels like a higher quality Turkish dining experience than your average. A little on the pricey side but worth it for the value. Cocktails are excellent too. Also made a fuss of my niece (and mum!) on their birthdays and took care of my nephew with gluten intolerance so extra marks there too.

Food wasn't great very pricey but the flavours aren't there . Ordered 2 lamb shanks on the menu has no description of what sauce it is in . Genuinely it comes with a gravy type sauce. This time it's a tomato sauce but taste sooo bland like its a tonne of tomato puree . Lamb shank itself of beautiful so tender and soft but flavour isn't there . The chicken shish was tiny only 1skewer when it's nearly 18 and you get a tiny portion of fries with it . No bread a small bowl of salad each too . Not a bad place just foods majorly underflovoures . Such a shame been on the top of my list to try for a while unfortunately will not be coming back .

Came here for Father’s Day dinner with my family. Although it was busy, we enjoyed our meals and the service was good. Lovely decor with decent music.

WOW !!! The experience ! The customer service ! The FOOD!!! - Cooked to perfection and displayed in the most exquisite dishes ! Extremely knowledgeable staff, always polite and ready to help with any enquiry. I have been here for the second time and left with a memorable experience about service and food, they have exceeded any expectation. This is THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE TURKISH RESTAURANT!

Visited this place for dinner with a friend and was delighted - nice ambiance, good service and the food was absolutely delicious!

Good all around experience. Wait staff a little pushy with ordering but it's to be expected at peak serving time (Saturday evening). Food very good, but visually overshadowed by attempts to be flashy (silly plates that are misshapen and difficult to eat out of, unnecessary garnish). It tasted nice, but was definitely overpriced (matches the likes of Kervan or Gokyuzu, but not the quantity served, for example) Prices are high, probably to accomodate the cost of the decor over the food. They do need to address the flies though!

Food was nice. Maybe we're getting old but It was too noisy. It could be because of the large group that was in that evening. The restaurant did their best to move us but even then we still found it too loud.

Awful starter which I refused to pay for. Ordered the cod which was dry and tasteless. My tempura broccoli came smothered in sweet chilli sauce….why?? My Negroni apparently had a Turkish twist, not sure what that was. On the whole, incredibly disappointing and I won’t be returning. Saving grace was the good service so nothing to do with the front of house staff but all to do with the chefs. Sort it out backstage

I went for an impromptu evening meal with my husband. I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. The minute we set foot in the door we were welcomed and escorted to a table. Every single serving staff was attentive and polite without being overpowering. The food was cooked to perfection, well presented and the portions just right. It wasn't overpriced either. Whilst the restaurant was really busy, because the staff were so good, the whole experience was relaxing and calming contrary to another experience I had elsewhere at a different venue in Cockfosters very recently. I most certainly would recommend this restaurant and I will be going back time and time again. Well done everyone. Carry on the good work and don't change anything! What you are doing is superb and deserves every commendation.

I have visited this restaurant several times & each time it’s been in a large group where we’ve either ordered a mess platter or individual meals. They are very accommodating despite being full to the brim. The portion sizes are plentiful, the food delicious & the decor is simply stunning. I can’t wait to return & feast again!
