Disgusting, bad breakfast and hair in my food Staff took long to serve and was rude the bacon was disgusting and the also drop the plates

Not a good stop for hot drinks. I paid for an extra shot in a flat white {having had their weak coffee before} and extra for my daughter's non dairy flat white. The tarte au citron came as dessert with chocolate drizzle and squirty cream...more style than substance as the pastry was too soft unlike Costa pastry and I decided to leave it. The cost; almost £12 .the couple next to us also vowed not to go there again as the cream and hot chocolate tasted 'funny'.

This was a really lovely restaurant, staff very welcoming and attentive, the food was excellent and can't wait to go back. The best Risotto I've eaten and the other plates of food were excellent also.

I visit Delicio every week. They provide great food and serve the very best coffee ever. The staff are helpful and friendly staff. and the menu is varied. This cafe provides good value

My daughter lives locally, so we decided on an impromptu Sunday lunch. here. So lucky to get a table!The menu is really good, with plenty of choice.I had the cannelloni with spinach and my daughter had a pizza- both excellent.Service is friendly and the setting is pleasantly relaxing.We shall return ASAP!

What can I say about our experience…..cold tea, takeaway cup for sit in latte, breakfast for myself and wife with 10 minutes gap between both our food being brought out! No offer of compensation. Absolutely shocking, will never go back and would recommend to use another cafe in the area.

Rude (mature cashier ) staff and extremely rude (lady) manager. No respect for customer at all. I will Never spend my money for disrespectful people. I don't have a word for the place. Absolutely excellent place. It's a shame no good management.

I have cerebral palsy, and use a powerchair and communication aid. I visited this restaurant on Saturday afternoon and attempted to get a beer. The staff, however, refused to serve me, shutting the door on me and refusing to speak to me, even though there were plenty of free tables. They would not tell me why; but when I returned with my personal assistant later that evening, he was told they assumed I had learning difficulties or may be on medication. Such treatment is totally unacceptable.

Went in for brunch today with my girlfriend and ordered the Mediterranean eggs pointing to it on the menu. The order came up and it was a Mediterranean breakfast very different. It was changed but the waitress was very rude and said it was our fault and we had caused a lot of food to be wasted. Not happy as we eat here and the sister restaurant Rox all the time. In fact once at Rox and this one in the last 7 days. Not any more. I told the waitress she needed to be mindful of how she spoke to people and being young enough to be my daughter found her attitude very disappointing. Feel the restaurant was way to busy and not enough self distancing in place or track and trace in place and people joining tables that clearly were not from the same family. Will not be going back

Esta no es mi primera vez en delicio y cada vez que he venido a comer el personal ha sido cálido, acogedor y educado. El servicio es rápido y el personal atento, pedimos nuestra comida y bebida en 5 minutos, considerando que era un día festivo el lunes.Pedí el desayuno mediterráneo con extras y estaba delicioso. La comida llegó alrededor de las 10 de la orden, ¡estaba caliente y tenía un sabor increíble! Con respecto a COVID, tenían desinfectante de manos al entrar, los protectores de plástico están a la altura de las mesas separadas pero también tienen una gran área para sentarse afuera si la gente se siente más cómoda.Sin duda lo recomendaría para el desayuno o el almuerzo.

He visitado este restaurante para tomar un café y comer muchas veces, pero últimamente el servicio va cuesta abajo. Pedí 2 cafés y algo de comida. Conseguí comida, pero los cafés llegaron mucho después de que terminamos de comer, cuando se lo mencionó a la mesera, ella simplemente me gritó.A los pocos días sucedió lo contrario y la comida no fue como pedí.La comida sigue siendo de buena calidad, pero el servicio debe mejorar.

Entré con mi bebé para comer y tomar una copa solo para descubrir que este pequeño café no es un lugar agradable, definitivamente NO está orientado al cliente. Pedí un aperol spritz para mí y para mi pollo bebé con brocoli en lugar de patatas fritas y la camarera ni siquiera que no hizo el esfuerzo de comprobar si es posible, especialmente si está disponible como guarnición), pero fue descortés y sin vida, diciendo que eso no es posible.Después de haber trabajado en esta industria durante más de 10 años, preferiría emplear personas alegres y humildes en lugar de alguien para llenar el vacío.Hay muchas personas que buscan trabajo, la gerencia tal vez debería reconsiderar su nivel de cortesía y negocios orientados al cliente si quieren sobrevivir.

Entré en Delicio después de ser atrapado bajo la lluvia. Mi abrigo y mi ropa estaban empapados. No recibí un saludo amistoso. No había calentadores ni radiadores en el interior y ningún lugar donde colgar mi abrigo para que se secara. Soy vegetariano y pedí panqueques de desayuno americano con fruta. Había cáscaras de tocino carbonizado unidas a ellos y sabían a carne. No es vegetariano, cocinado en la misma parrilla que el tocino.

Esto fue claro para mí que no será comestible, ya que cuando le pido a la dama una hamburguesa mediana, ella establece que no pueden hacerlo, ¡siempre está bien hecho y esta es la forma en que solo pueden hacerlo! (¿Tiene algo en ese lugar?) ¡Estoy muy interesado en la comida y específicamente en la carne de res! Over the space of two days my mother and I visited three times...for coffee, "elevenses" and dinner. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, great coffee and delicious meals. I really cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Went here today with my partner & my mum for lunch. I had the all day veggie breakfast which was really nice. My partner had the Big D burger which was big!! Really good chips as well (I did pinch a few!). Great place to go for lunch or dinner with lots of choices on the menu. Service was friendly and efficient.

I have visited Delicio for breakfast, lunch and dinner now and have been delighted with the quality of food each time. The pies are amazing and the portion sizes are good. The staff are lovely, very happy and efficient.

I went to Delico today with my son and partner. I have a severe Milk allergy. When ordering the food I ordered a latte with Soya milk. I stated my order twice to ensure the women knew it was soya milk. When the latte was brought over I asked again- is this soya milk? which she replied "yes" I ended up having an allergic reaction as it was indeed cows milk. My reactions can be life threatening depending on the amount of milk I drink. I ended up having to go to hospital and due to medication I have been in bed all day therefore having to take the day off work. I am really disappointed how this whole situation was dealt with. I have called up and tried to speak to management however no one would speak to me. I will be taking this further i feel like this was not taken seriously at all.

We were sat on a table that had a bench one side. It was impossibly low to sit in so myself and wife sat beside each other rather than opposite. I ordered a burger and whilst the burger was tasty the roll it was in was not suitable and it fell apart as you lifted it. A more major service issue was my wife's food came out from the kitchen long before mine. As it warm she could not wait for mine to arrive and so effectively we ate separately no apology for delay. The toilets were being cleaned whilst we were eating with a brand of cleaner that was very pungent and turned you off your food. Never again.

We were really looking forward to going to delicio for our “end of holidays” meal together- usually a three course plus wine affair. The place was really quiet and all was well until the guy next to us started playing his radio on his mobile. It seems he was a member of staff because one of the waitresses started chatting to him and he turned it down while that happened. It was really irritating so we very politely asked a different waitress if she would tell him to turn it down. She didn’t do so. Her solution was either that we could move or she could open the door....! We just had our drinks and left, so they missed out on £40 just for the sake of telling someone to turn the radio down. Delicio’s loss was Ziyafet’s gain- go there instead if you want to feel like a valued customer!

Especially good food what you normally would not except from a coffee shop. Very surprising that everything taste better than similar coffees.

Sin embargo, después de no advertirnos cuando entramos por la puerta, o incluso cuando hicimos el pedido, a la mitad de comer nuestros entrantes nos dijeron que nuestros platos principales saldrían en 2 minutos, ya que querían cerrar a las 9. On two occasions when the establishment wasn't especially busy, the service was slow and offhand. Add to this the food and coffee are merely average at best a lot is left to be desired, especially seeing the prices are above average for the area.

There large breakfast was great, there American breakfast my wife had was a very poor standard. Service Good and a reasonable price.

my wife booked here for a big birthday celebration i think there were at least 20 of us probably more and every one seemed to enjoy it

The other day I stopped off for a simple cup of black coffee and, to my ever so slight astonishment, was served a coffee complete with milk. The waitress was so offhand and her mind clearly elsewhere, I didn't bother asking her to serve my original order. It should also be noted, the menu I was given was sticky and had clearly not been cleaned in ages and repeated payment attempts were also ignored.

Went tonight for my granddaughters 17th birthday family meal. Food was excellent and staff excellent. So friendly and could not have been more attentive. Definitely will be going back again

Two of us went in for a late lunch in what refers to itself as a café/brasserie. I would have thought that the emphasis was more on the restaurant side. It was pleasant enough, certainly, and the food was well-prepared - but I was not prepared for the £50+ bill for a non-alcoholic lunch. I would not rule out a return; but I am not sure that I would rush back, I am afraid.

Popped in for breakfast. Very good selection I would have preferred standard breakfast without chips or hash browns. Food old toast is my breakfast favourite. However had their eggs benedict that was cooked quickly and very well. Not over priced with coffee but great food.

We called in one evening whilst staying in Eltham and this restaurant is conveniently located on the High Street.

I have been wanting to go in here for ages and we finally did! It was well worth the wait. I had the lamb shish wrap and chips, my mother in law had a cheese sandwich and chips and my daughter had an English fry up! So all different lunches but every single one of them was lovely. Couldn’t fault anything. Staff were so friendly to. Decor and comfort is nice to. Highly recommend.

We were shopping in the High Street and spotted this place over the road. In we went and were shown to a decent table in the back by the kitchen. We ordered a coffee each and shared a Club sandwich which came with chips. I'm glad we shared it was quite a size. The coffees were good and we were back out shopping in no time. Great service and a good deal at £12.30 total.

I went to Delicio this morning for breakfast with friends. The filter coffee is very good, full bodied roast without that burnt, bitter taste you sometimes get. I persuaded one friend to have the Mediterranean breakfast because I wanted him to try the pastourma sausages. He was not disappointed! The staff are always friendly and never rush you. It's a great place for food all day or just a coffee or tea and delicious cake.

As a family member has recently moved to this area, I've recently visited Delicio twice- Sunday lunch and weekday lunch.Lovely to see a local restaurant so busy- family groups of all ages, friends meeting together etc.The food is excellent. There's a lot of choice for vegetarians, a range of dishes- from lighter snacks to starters/ mains etc.- all very competitively priced.The restaurant staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.There's a good wine list- including the house white , which my daughter and I both enjoy.All in all, Delicio is a venue to which I shall definitely return.

OMG! The food was amazing. For once my steak was cooked exactly how I love it.... Blue!The portions are more than enough, especially when I normally have the appetite of a sparrow. Children's menu is a great little selection, my little one couldn't make up his mind. Definitely value for money and so fresh. We will be back very soon x

Came for a quick lunch bank holiday Monday. Friendly staff and speedy service. Kids meals were tasty and generously portioned, as was my husband's pizza.. my jacket potato was a bit on the small side but fillings were plentiful, tasty and filling. Customers next to us had the shish which looked delicous too! Would recommend for a quick bite whilst shopping or running errands in the high street.

Great little place on a corner with outside seating. Wide range of food choices which are delicious. Carbonara is lovely. It is a little expensive but stilla loveyl place to eat

Always a favourite for us. Menu which caters for all the family. Sunday roast always very good. Cheesecake and apple pie favourite desserts. Child friendly and staff are always smiling and friendly.

Took my 12year old for breakfast, were greeted with a big hello and a smile, but then didn't really feel very welcome after that. Order was taken quickly. Breakfast was presented really nicely and my son said it was delicious. No body came back to table I couldn't ask for bill, so eventually went to counter to pay. No eye contact was given, made me feel a little bit awkward. I would like to return and hope it would be different next time.

My friend had been here before and suggested this venue locally as we didn't was to drive far. I was pleased with our choice of the lamb wrap - we chose the smaller portion as we were there for lunch but there is a larger portion available. The lamb filling was just right - succulent and not dry and there was some salad included. The food was served without too much of a wait and the staff were attentive and obliging when we asked for some garlic mayo. We also had a portion of chips which were fluffy inside and crispy outside - lovely! The food seems good value for money. The venue is intimate so a large party might be a problem but this is nice if you don't like noisey crowds. I would certainly return.

I will keep this one very short. Basically, my wife and I ventured into Eltham High Street one morning after doing the school round. We were craving a fresh ground coffee and a traditional English (Vegetarian) Fry up so ended up at Delicio Restaurant.It was quiet and clean. We both ordered a fry up which consisted of toast, poached egg, veggie sausage and beans. Overall, the food was of a decent standard and the cook went out of his way to fry our eggs in a separate frying pan as we were worried about cross contamination with meats. He reassured us and the food came in good time. Portions were acceptable and everything tasted good. No complaints with food or service. 7 out of 10 based on food and price. I would go back again.

Ended up at Delicio in Eltham for breakfast as the usual cafe we go to was closed over the festive period. Never been before but the venue looked inviting enough. Price wise it is somewhat more than the average cafe but we wanted something better than the usual fry up. Unfortunately this was not the case. There were 5 of us and between us had a choice of varying breakfasts on offer so had a pretty good view of what was on offer. We all found the food very average, I had a Full English Breakfast and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the ingredients. Including a coffee this was £8.50 but I've paid half that at a greasy spoon cafe with a better product. No problem paying a higher price but when you get low grade ingredients, just not good. Definitely won't return for breakfast !! Other than that, the venue seemed clean and staff were pleasant enough. Sorry guys !!

Popped in hear with lunch with some family members. Service was very good and the lunch meal quite varied. We had four different meals, from fish and chips through to a Mediterranean Casserole. I had Liver and Mash. All of us enjoyed the meal we received. Only had a main course but it was good.

We have been coming to this place for a couple of years now. Food is always very good, portions are big, service is prompt and friendly.

Never going back to this place! Each item of the Mediterranean breakfast was soaking with oil, there was hair in the salad, simply disgusting. I am very disappointed!

I enjoyed the food here, but when I got the bill I was a little surprised at the cost of drinks. Fresh orange £3.20, glass of wine £6.95 [large] small £6.25. Small bottle of lager nearly £5. Enjoy the food and go next door for a drink.

This place was really handy when I used to live in Eltham - for either a quick cappuccino or for a breakfast or a lunch.They really do a great cappuccino - which, believe me, can not be taken for granted even in Italy - and I really enjoyed their English breakfast. They also do really good burgers and dessert. Staff is also really friendly.

We went for a lunch and found the staff are friendly and considerate. We felt the sandwiches we great (will be going back for more) however the chips were really bad.They had been cooked in old oil and in the same fryer as the fish. You know that they did this because you were left with a slightly acrid, burnt and fish my taste lingering on the end. Not pleasant.Anyway it's our local and they make a decent coffee and cake so will be back...just won't order chips! Ha

When it came to trying a new restaurant in Eltham my expectations were average but Delicios is amazing. Wonderful Mediterranean menu- each plate is gorgeously dressed and aesthetically pleasing and when I asked the waitress to change the set dishes side due to allergies she came back to me with multiple, considerate options. If I'm having a meal out in Eltham this is always where I go for dinner- and I'm happy to take friends and family.Every time I've been, starters, mains and desserts have been impeccable.

This is an excellent bistro / Restaurant off Eltham High Street. Warm friendly welcome as you walk through the door, good variety of food on the menu. Service is prompt and efficient. Food is very well presented, excellent portions and more importantly very tasty. Prices reasonable too. In the last couple of weeks I've eaten here about 8 times and it has been consistent throughout. A great venue to eat on many aspects for that reason it gets my 5 stars. Arrive early as it gets quite popular during lunch times.

I've been to this place a few times not out of choice, a family member likes going here for birthday brunch, but I can't say I am that impressed. I had salmon royale but it arrived on thin white cheap looking bread/toast whereas the rest of the table who ordered the full works for their brunch got lovely thick doorstop bread/toast. Maybe I am not ordering the correct thing but if they did a veggie breakfast with veggie sausages I might have a different opinion. Saying that though the staff were friendly and attentive.

We had just enjoyed a visit to Eltham Palace and we were going to have quick cheap and cheerful munch at the local Weatherspoon, but boy are we glad we walked further down the High Street to to find this great place. Wonderful Mediterranean menu with food presented beautifully in good sized portions. I had pan fried chicken served with spinach, peppers etc. on dauphinois potatoes and paprika sauce - it looked good and was delicious. Shish kebabs looked great. All four of us enjoyed our meals immensely. The two Turkish chefs are to be congratulated and the waitresses were friendly and helpful. Try it!

This is a lovely restaurant, the food is fresh and well made, and the waiting staff are fantastic. We visited as a couple, although we have previously brought in our young children - service and meals are always great.

We recently visited delicio as our usual lunchtime retreat from shopping was closed. After trekking around to find a suitable place for everyone we stumbled on this little gem and it really is a gem. A fantastic selections of wine, a great choice of quality food and well presented. You can instantly tell that this place is run to highest standard and attention to detail is important to all the staff.

Highly recommended, friendly staff, didn't wait long for food and was hot, precentation was good and helpings was generous..Definitely recommend...

Lovely area right on the corner of eltham high street, parking was fine. And food quality great. Lovely chicken salad which was seasoned well and a good portion. Children friendly and also have space to sit upstairs. Staff was all friendly and took notice straight away when you walk in. Definitely will return if in the area!!

The place is still very friendly, but I noticed a new menu and with it a price increase which may put me off in future.

A great restaurant to eat a meal or just sit outside with a coffee and watch the world go by. They now have extra tables outside so good with the fine weather. The service is always excellent . Very friendly staff. Good place to meet friends in Eltham High St. Recommended

We visited this restaurant on my birthday therefore we were looking for something extra special, upon arriving we were greeted by helpful staff who showed us to our table and got drinks quickly underway. We were shown excellent hospitality and served excellent food (we chose from the Mediterranean selection) and were very happy. Service from all the staff excellent, food very enjoyable, the décor was a little tired and could do with some refurbishment to make the whole experience a wow. Mike and Olga Purcell

This was my first visit to Delicio and it was a very pleasant one !The service was on point, no rushing and no hassle unlike many places nowadays. The food was cooked within ten minutes and it tasted very nice. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone with a low budget but still wants a quality experience. Sitting outside made us feel as if we were on holiday !

I regularly visit Delicio for morning coffee (regular flat White) and today I wanted to treat my family to Sunday roast, I must say it was delicious, descent portion, fresh and tasty roast dinner served by Delicio, thank you so much for looking after us Mirella and special thanks to chef Tam for tasty Roast, We will definitely visit again.

Ignore any bad reviews this restaurant is a jewel in Eltham if not the world! I've been using this restaurant for years and the food never ever fails to deliver. The staff are extremely friendly and professional and I always look forward to going back. I've no hesitation in recommending it to all my work colleagues who've all loved it. Their Big Day is to die for......

I had a flat white coffee and bacon sandwich, my daughter chose a Latte and a BLT. All really tasty and reasonably priced.Lovely friendly staff and everywhere was spotless ......... We'll be back!!

Have eaten here several times. The food is excellent. Good quality ingredients, with very good attention to detail. We were extremely full when we left. One little quibble, was our waitress was rather swift at clearing away. That said, the staff are polite and helpful and it would not put me off of going there in the future.

I've been regularly using this place for three years. Today I ordered my usual flat white coffee and received what looked like a turd in a milkshake. The execrable taste of the beverage matched its unwholesome appearance. Truly vile.After complaining I received no explanation, no apology and no refund; and at £2.65 that was the least they could have done. Instead I got a look of blank incomprehension followed by an indignant glare. Not a single word was said.Never again will I set foot in this place. Instead I shall use Costa Coffee opposite, where a flat white retails for a more reasonable £2.40.

Local high street cafe/restaraunt. Best in high street. Clean tidy and cheerful staff. Good food.Always go there when shopping.Great

From the outside you just think, oh not another coffee shop.But don't be fooled, it's that plus a lovely restaurant.Service was brilliant and was made to feel very welcome. The menu has so much variety and took a while for me to decide. I went for the Fish finger club sandwich and it was spot on, a great size portion for the money.I'm definitely going to return as I want to sample some of the other dishes that caught my eye.Great little place in the centre of Eltham, which we've been lacking really.

This establishment has been many things, now a restaurant in the evening, coffee bar type place in the afternoon. Shaped a little like a railway carriage, long and thin. Really good food, watch the boys making it at the end of the diner. Italian flavour, but menu deals with plenty of variety. Not as cheap as McDonalds, but cheaper that Prezza further along the High Street. Very friendly staff. I have recommended this place to my friends, and they have never been disappointed, try it. Plenty of parking spots after 6.30pm weekdays in Passey Place.

I love this little place, as do all my family.Every Saturday my mum and nan pick this for their lunch and coffees, and I often go here for a tasty meal when I cannot be asked to cook.The little waitresses, especially the manager, are so lovely and all say hello and welcome you with open arms!The food is all good and reasonably priced.My only quible is that the menu is so vast you spend ages trying to decide what it is you want - but options are always good.I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good, friendly place to eat in Eltham.

My husband and I stopped off here for coffee one morning and enjoyed the friendly service so much we returned the same evening for an evening meal with our daughter and her fiance. The waitress remembered us and made us welcome. It made us feel like really valued customers.The restaurant was warm and very clean. The menu contained a wide choice of dishes. Our order was taken promptly. Our first courses included fish cakes, deep fried brie and also hummus. They were all very tasty. The main courses we chose were also varied. These included lamb kebab, pizza and falafel burger. We all had soft drinks.We enjoyed a good meal with good company. There was only one fault with the service: my husband was offered a choice of fries or rice with his meal. He ordered fries, but the meal came with rice. When the mistake was pointed out to the waitress, she did not take the meal away and have the error corrected, she ordered an extra portion of fries from the kitchen.When our bill came, it included an extra side order of fries. I did feel this should have been absorbed by the restaurant, rather than the error passed on to the customer. This action did take the shine off my experience here.

I am lucky enough to be a local and a regular at this bistro/cafe call it what you like. My family have enjoyed breakfasts lunches and suppers here. I can honestly say not only are you spoilt for choice but the quality, quantity and freshness of all the meals is excellent, and are fantastic value for money. The staff are attentive and polite, the decor is simple yet stylish with modern but not loud background music.
