We had another absolutely superb brunch in this lovely clean and friendly establishment. The food is fantastic. We can’t wait to return.

5⭐️ warm, friendly atmosphere, great breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning. Staff welcoming and chatty, really enjoy our visits to Delice definitely recommend.

They are always give a warm welcome and the food is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and just because it is not on the menu they will still try to give you what you would like

Very varied menu - super food, excellent friendly service, well priced. Would certainly recommend it. It was very busy, but the service was quick and efficient.

What a gorgeous deli. Beautiful Fresh food . I had a sumptuous omelette and they tailored it to what I wanted. Fab coffee (I’m a bit of a coffee snob) and lovely cakes. Service friendly and swift but no hassle to hurry my food. Would highly recommend.

The fact that this little unassuming cafe is always full speaks volumes. Best place to eat in Witney for breakfast/lunch by a mile. Try the scrambled egg and avocado or smoked salmon on toast for breakfast. Massive portions, beautifully cooked and presented and exceptional value. Coffee is really good too. Staff are so welcoming and friendly.

We booked Delice to provide the buffet for my wife’s 70th birthday and at £10/head they provided a beautiful, fresh buffet to suite vegetarian and non-vegetarian pallets alike. Everyone at the part commented on how good the food was. Thanks to Miguel, Sarah & Josh! Highly recommended!!

I’ve been here many times and the food is always good and tasty. It’s always busy and generally the staff are friendly and helpful. It could do with a bit of TLC particularly the toilet which was not that clean. The new members of staff need to be taught how to make a proper cappuccino. The floor tends to slippery when busy so walk with care. The owner is always helpful and his chat is most entertaining and he always asks after my husband. Very kind man.

The sandwiches we ordered were nice although overpriced. Good choice of fillings for sandwiches. Cup was cracked. Restaurant was busy as it was lunchtime and it was crowded. Not very airy.

Visited yesterday for first time. Ordered tea and toasted tea cake. Was charged £8.55, the bill listed scrambled eggs and tea. I questioned it and was told a tea cake was the same price as scrambled eggs! I protested but they didn’t want to listen. I will not be visiting again.

We come here every time we visit Witney, for the first time we went for breakfast and it was great, three poached eggs on toast, Mine had some white not quite cooked which I don’t like so mentioned it to waitress, she was great, took it away and cooked fresh ones just right, cooked whites and soft runny cooked yokes. She then came back to check it was good. What great service. On leaving I was given as a gift chocolate cake. Highly recommend.

What a find. My sister took me here for lunch and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. On arrival, they were full inside (it was 1pm) but we had the dog with us, so we offered to sit outside. Within minutes a lovely lad brought out a bowl of water for the dog and a couple of dog biscuits. Such a lovely touch. We ordered some drinks with our waitress very quickly, and when she bought the drinks, she took our food order. The food arrived super quickly. Two generous, hot and well-filled paninis. Served with a small fresh crisp salad and a few crisps (a mixture of flavours which was a nice touch). While my sister went into pay the bill, the chap brought over a little taste of brownie for my sister and I, and then got a couple more biscuits for the dog. I am assuming he was the owner, he was full of enthusiasm, well wishes and charm. The staff really make this place, the food was great and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you. You made a quick lunch into a really lovely experience.

Quick visit to Witney. Stopped here for coffee and snack. As on table outside. Sunny day. Lots of menu choices. Jacket potato and coronation chicken ordered. Made and delivered to table very quickly. Complimentary cake a lovely touch. Lots of staff on duty who were accommodating and friendly; nothing too much trouble. Enjoyable.

Delice isn't just a cafe, it is the heartbeat of Witney.The food is amazing, sandwiches, paninis, salads, jacket potatoes, breakfast all wonderful ... cheese and beans toastie?! Don't knock it til you try it! You can be fussy and you will be catered for with a smile. The cakes, they are OUTSTANDING! Such a variety (don't worry, I have done the research and tried 90% of them!!) You can have peanut butter millionaires shortbread, Oreo cupcake, brownie, rainbow cake, pastries it is all there and it is all made locally with love. All the above makes it a great place to eat but Delice is more than that, the staff go above and beyond and you will never leave without a full belly and a huge smile. Miguel, the owner, is so kind, caring & funny. It is a family business with a wonderful family vibe. If I am having a stressful day in the office I will go over for a slice of epic cake and leave with a take out bag, a smile & feeling 100 times better. All the staff look after everyone, are always happy to be of service however busy & just generally make your day better.

Met friend here for coffee & catch up. As always we were greeted with a warm welcome. Spent lovely couple of hours chatting over a few cups of coffee. We stopped here when we arrived in Witney. The sun was out so we grabbed a table outside. The waiter outside was very friendly and was very on the ball. We ordered 2 panini a and a cold drink. My feta cheese and pepper panini was lovely. Definitely worth a visit here

Visited here with the family just before going to the crocodile park. We walked in for lunch, the cafe is very clean and vibrant. We got a warm welcome by the man and lady and was sat at a table. We ordered food lots of different sandwich fillings to choose from and the Quiche was very very nice. Food was 10 out of 10 and the cleanliness was best of the best.Highly recommended for a bite to eat, customer service 100% this is how a business should be run. In this time most places to grab a snack were full and in fact I am glad of that as we found Delice, not too long before they closed but we were made very welcome, in fact we managed to get an outside table the second day also. The owner is great, happy has a laugh with everyone, you can see this as all of the staff were the same, everything is done with a smile and a laugh. The service was good even though the second day they were really busy, the food everything I could have asked for.

Came in for a light lunch and we were not disappointed. Service friendly and attentive. We had a seafood sandwich and a chicken tikka baquette. We happened to pass through Witney on our way to the Cotswolds and we were so pleased to stop at Delice. The staff totally make this such an enjoyable place to eat at. The food is excellent and great value for the portions you get. We had a falafel panini, which was super yummy and a tuna salad which was huge! If you're in Witney - come eat here - even if it is just to get a cuppa, you won't regret it.

I haver been going to Delice with friends of mine for the past two years and i can honestly say the reception from Miguel and the team is amazing! Miguel is so attentive and courteous to customers - i always leave on a high! the food is also out of this world i can honestly say the freshness of the food is just amazing! the portions are very generous and keeps me coming back wanting more!

You’re welcomed in with a generous helping of cockney/Italian banter. Everything is so much more than it says on the menu! Hot chocolate is a must. My wife yearned for a bacon butty, Norton the menu, but they produced it very quickly. I opted for baked potato with Coronation Chicken, which came with a fresh, clean, crisp salad I’d not expected but made a great contrast. They offered the chicken to be hot or cold. Much more chicken than would be normal, which was great. A sampler of dessert was thrown in, and a little macaroon with the rich hot chocolate. Also they promised to be quick and were! We’d been to three other places where food wait was 30-35 minutes (so would be more).

Visited this great cafe for the first time recently. The service was warm, friendly and swift. The menu had a decent selection of snacks (sandwiches, salads, baked potatoes with various fillings) plus large platters to share. There was also a Specials Board.The cakes were fresh and home-made. I had the millionaire shortbread which was delicious.We enjoyed our visit and will return.

Every Saturday my daughter and her friend meet up in this cafe, the owner and staff look after them so well. They really enjoy the food and the atmosphere in there. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone. The friendliest cafe in Oxfordshire.

Or so the owner was singing as we entered Delice for the first time whilst shopping in Witney. Aromas, aromas and more aromas of fresh food being prepared in front of you. A great choice of colourful food - always a good sign of healthy food. We chose Panini's, mine was vegetarian with halloumi cheese and huge beef tomatoes. My husbands was salami, mozzeralla and olives. This was served with a lovely salad and crisps.

Food great, Coffee great and Miguel shows what customer service is all about. This cafe is clean and an absolute joy to visit. Wish there was a Delice de Witney in every town.

Delice is one of the best places in Witney if you want a light breakfast or lunch, or even a massive slice of cake! We came for breakfast not too long ago, and it was delicious! The staff are amazing, the manager (I think he is) always has a laugh and a joke with the customers and you leave Delice with a full belly and a smile on your face! (And the best Sausage Rolls to take home for later!)

My husband and I stopped at The Delice for breakfast. We had a lovely bacon and egg sandwich on fresh bread with a fantastic cup of coffee. The food was hot and tasty and the coffee fresh and smooth. The service was friendly and efficient. A great recommendation for good food, coffee and service.

Just called in here as we were passing and didn't have much for lunch at home. We took away excellent quiches, good salad, exceptionally cheerful staff but not cheap! But it was a filling meal.

Found this small deli café a few months ago and decided to post to give it the credit it is due . Nice food always fresh ingredients whether it's been a lunch or just a sandwich . Owner is a bit quirky but I put that down to his Portuguese heritage and sense of humour ….. takes pride in his business and understands the word "service" …..I complimented him on his coffee ( best in town by a mile ) and he gave me the rundown on the fact that he personally imports the beans and would not use anything else …..try it and compare to the commercial coffee houses , you will not be disappointed . I've always eaten at the premises but he has a thriving take away side …. particularly coffee for those that know …..

We popped into Delice for a quick breakfast on a Saturday morning as guests to the area visiting from London. Immediately we were greeted by the friendliest of staff. Both food and drinks were lovely and very generous portions. Then followed a complimentary delicious homemade chocolate brownie bite for each of us - a really nice touch. Chatting to the staff as we paid our bill we were so impressed with their service, we went to get some cash and returned to give them a tip. Great place and more than happy to support this small local business.

Popped in for lunch today for the first time and was absolutely delighted with the place. The staff were so friendly and humorous and were so amazing, helping try to get rid of the wasps outside. The food was really lovely as well, and well presented.

Visited here for the first time a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so much looks like we’re becoming regulars. Every visit has been a real treat, whether just for coffee or a slap-up lunch.

Great feta and pepper panini, salad and crisps, cappuccino, hubby had egg mayo, crispy bacon baguette. Really tasty and made to feel like old friends by the owner. So nice to sit outside and eat, plenty of space inside and out. Nice touch of mini chocolate brownie each after, no charge.

This place is our go to lunch stop. The food is amazing, coffee is spot on and the staff and owner are amazing. We always go for a baguette and it never disappoints. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Witney.

We popped in here for a spot of brunch and were so pleased we did. I had a bacon and sausage sandwich, the bacon was DELICIOUS. My daughters sausage roll was great and they were kind enough to cut it up for her and put some cucumber on the plate (without me even having to ask). My husbands scrambled egg/ bacon and toast was huge and really reasonably priced.

Completely overpriced for the size of it. £2.50 for a San pellegrino... Really? The food wasn't bad but I really don't think the price is justified. I wouldn't eat here again sadly but the staff seemed nice

Have been here a few times recently- excellent food, coffee and service. It is very clean, the food is delicious and we are always greeted with a smile and friendly banter. It is half the price of the touristy bakery restaurant next door to it and the food is much better. This will definitely be my go to place for lunch or a cuppa and cake when I’m in Witney. The number of people making return visits whilst sat in there speaks for itself especially given the huge choice of cafes and restaurants in Witney. Loved it.

Went to Witney for a short visit today and happened to stop for lunch at this lovely cafe. Menu had so many options and manager gave great recommendations. Finally decided for the Tuna Melt Panini, which was very tasty. What impressed us the most was the service. Friendly, smiley and professional staff. Made us feel so welcome as if we were already regular guests. We were also offered a treat to finish off our meal. Will definitely be back soon.

Only popped into Whitney for a look around and a quick coffee, happened to walk past this place and cakes on the counter caught my eye so had to take a closer look.

We had a fabulous breakfast made all the better by the owner of the café who was endlessly cheerful. the cooked breakfast and salmon with scrambled eggs were great choices. What's not to like?

We travel to the area 2 - 3 times a year and we always have lunch here and once again after about 5 months since our last visit we were greeted by the owner as if it was only a couple of weeks had gone by, it makes so much of a difference when you are remembered time and time again. The lunch we had was as always excellent and our special requirements catered for. It goes without out saying that we will be back again sometime in the new year.

Tried Delice for the first time this week and will definitely be going back there. The lunch menu was reasonably priced and our choices were tasty and generous. The bread used for the sandwich was particularly nice and the panini oozed yummy cheese! The service was excellent with friendly smiling staff and the owner was highly amused by my limited Portuguese! All in all, a delightful lunch break.

As soon as you open the door of this cafe you are warmly welcomed by the owner. Equally the waitress was friendly and service was quick. I ordered a bacon and cheese panini and my husband had a salami and mozzarella baguette, both were freshly prepared and superb. There is a wide choice on the menu. Having arrived at Eynsham Hall in Witney the night before we were all seeking somewhere in Witney to have afternoon tea and cake. We sat outside in the sun on a barmy October afternoon. The service was good and the experience met our expectations. The quality of food and the range of cakes was excellent. If you are looking for a great place to have afternoon team or brunch look no further.

Visited with the better half for whilst having a look around Witney. We had looked around all of the cafes in Whitney, this looked to be well priced unlike some.
