My best friend and I came for a meal and drinks here… let me just say the meals were not up to the standards the reviews were giving.. hopefully when I come back here it gets a bit better.

Good food , nice portions , plans starters accordingly given portions.. good ingredients, friendly, quite busy and so booking advised ..

As usual Fardeen looked after us with great customer service. We have been coming to Deli Nene for over 7 years and honestly, and the reat of the team are a huge part of the reason why we keep coming back.

I love Deli Nene, I love the food and the service is excellent. Effortlessly welcoming.

I went there as a halal eater and ordered a prawn linguine. The waiter could not speak English and brought me meatballs in pasta. I told him he then proceeded to argue with me loudly. I was forced to just pay up and leave.

Deli Nene in Beckenham is an absolute gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm a regular at this spot, and whether it's a cozy breakfast or a delightful dinner, they always hit the mark. The food? Fantastic. The drinks? This place is amazing. We are here weekly for brunch and come often for dinner too. Fardeen is especially excellent, he always ready to make our experience extra special with a smile, jokes, and extra touches. We are extra happy every time we’re served by him as he is by far the most attentive waiter. We love this place. Family friendly, you can sit outside with the dogs, and in the centre of Beckenham. It’s great to come drink coffee by yourself too, just sit at the window and chill. We need more places like Deli Nene in Beckenham. It’s unpretentious, delicious, and suits every occasion. Thanks to all the staff who make coming here every time so special.

I have passed this restaurant on many occasions, and I kept saying that I need to go and try it out. I am so glad I did, I was not disappointed. I had the beef roast and it was so succulent that the beef melted in my mouth. The vegetables were cooked too perfection, not soggy, still had plenty of flavour. And what can I say about the roast potatoes and yorkshires, they alone have made me say I will be back for me. Good value for money. Birol was outstanding 10/10, helpful, charming and went out of his way to enhance our experience.

The is a nice place the bar and selection of drinks is great milkshakes and smoothies it's a great place to take the children if ur a nanny good vibes also perfect for families an friends to chill . They serve breakfast brunch . Mediterranean feast was my favourite . Also a wife range of tapas and memes. A well though thru menue from grills to sizzling fajitas, burgers, fish ,pastas an salads and a classic Sunday roast . The staff was very friendly especially. The food was really good mouth watering. What a great find this is definitely 👌 one to stop in when you have a chance definitely come into the Deli Nene if your ever passing .

The food was wow! Portions huge (IMO) and very tasty. Great cocktail selection. And the service was really friendly and genuine. Sadly, it's not a place close to us, but if you're in the area, I'd definitely suggest stopping by...or even if you're not in the area! Great place 🙏🙏

Been coming here for the last few years and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere, Fardeen in particular is always so welcoming.

I ordered a Mediterranean Breakfast this morning. It cost £11.95 but unfortunately it didn’t come with a microscope so I couldn’t see just how small the portions were.

We spent a lovely evening at Deli Nene. The food and service were excellent and a really nice atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and Birol and Fardeen were super welcoming and friendly. Definitely be back.

In my opinion, this is the best eating place in Beckenham. I am vegetarian and the meal was divine, like nothing I have ever been served in others restaurants. First class. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their meat dishes too. The two charming young men looking after us, Birol and Fardeen were exceptionally attentive, humorous and great fun. All in all a great evening. Our group will continue to regularly book our outings at Dele Nene.

WORST SERVICE EVER! STAY AWAY! MANAGEMENT VERY BAD! The management clearly just want to pack up their venue, despite having too many bookings, little to no staff and having to wait over an HOUR FOR FOOD. The only thing the manger offered was a lousy humous, we asked for a jug of sangaria and he said “No I’m sorry I can’t do that” but are happy to take payment. We didn’t pay for 3 mains as we weren’t hungry and food came out cold. Shout out to Riz though, exceptional waiter and server, he tried his best but ultimately comes down to really poor management. Someone really needs to re look at that guy and his position asap. NEVER EVER GOING BACK + told friends and family to not visit them!

Attended the restaurant for my daughters 25th birthday party. We hired the beautiful private room and had approximately 30 guests. From start to finish my experience with Birol was helpful, friendly and very professional. The service provided was swift and efficient. Rizwan stood out as a very attentive and friendly waiter. All of our guests enjoyed the food and found the staff very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend Deli Nene for a private function.

Such a lovely restaurant! Visited for the first time a couple of years ago and only had cocktails (which were great) but yesterday, we visited again for a friend’s celebration meal. The organisation and the waiters were super friendly and attentive. They greatly contributed to the happy atmosphere we had. Especially Birol - he asked us questions, solved any problems we had, made friendly banter and constantly asked if we were happy or needed anything more. The food was prepared so fast and tasted absolutely amazing 🤩 I’m usually reluctant to order salad at a restaurant in fear that I’d get something inadequate but my chicken and halloumi salad was so filling and tasted soo good! Far better than expected. My sister ordered a roast which was presented so well and looked delicious. Everyone at the restaurant seemed more than satisfied with they ordered. 100% will be returning with my husband in the future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went for brunch with my daughter. It was my first visit. Service was good and so was the food. The only criticism I have is that my daughter, having ordered a cappuccino, asked for a glass of water and received a £2.20 small bottle of mineral water. I felt it should have been obvious that she wanted tap water. Obviously you have to clearly state tap water if that's what you want.

We were served by Rizzwan who not only provided outstanding service but went above and beyond to meet our needs. And all with a smile. Food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and freshly prepared related. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning as soon as we are back in the area.

Thanks so much for an amazing evening for my sons 18th. Food was amazing, 9 people all different dishes and all delicious, cooked perfectly. Waiting staff are superb so friendly, create a brilliant atmosphere and go above and beyond with service.

Rizzwan and Birol were amazing servers. They were very friendly and sociable and our food was fantastic. Highly recommended, would come back again.

I would probably stick to Mediterranean/Turkish options next time. I had the 'American' breakfast (complete with the not so traditionally American Cumberland sausage), the pancakes seemed suspiciously like they'd come from a packet and the scrambled eggs had been watered down. So my American breakfast experience was more Lewisham than Louisiana. Another gripe is the music; lounge versions of pop songs were a cute idea in 2010 but it's time for an update. And is there something you can do about the insufferably loud telephone? It was constantly going off; between that and the banging from the coffee machine, our conversation was interrupted all the time. The staff here is always friendly and attentive, and it's really not expensive. The bacon was good!

I cannot rave about this place enough, it’s become a staple in my weekly routine. I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner & have drinks here. The staff are clearly hand picked with so much care as they’re service is seamless. Their attitudes give ‘anything for you’, you simply cannot beat it here. Value for money, the cocktails, portions, the taste, the consistency all top tier.

A very nice and larger than expected cafe and bar which serves nice coffee and Mediterranean style cuisine. Staff are very polite and friendly whilst professional and smartly dressed. Dishes are well thought out and priced with reasonable variety. Portion sizes are good and freshly prepared. Strikes me as a good being place for friends or family and regular customers. People are friendly and well dressed without being pretentious. So it's cosy but mid to high end in the day. Coffee is good and reasonably priced. Tapas looked good on a neighbouring table.

We came for my nieces baby shower We had complete allowance to decorate the tables and wall as we pleased and “Bill’’ became immersed in the occasion! He was so attentive and accommodating; there wasn’t anything he didnt’t think of and diplomatically suggested alternatives and eyewinked that we had made best choices (photographs etc) He prepared the group for the entertainment that we had arranged and delayed the meals so that our quiz could finish-so important as there were cheaters in the group! We had arrived at 3pm on a very busy and sunny Sunday service and despite getting under EVERYONE’S feet and spilling drinks did not see a single eye roll !!! The food was delicious, generous portions and great value for money. We felt very well looked after, but the service was not at all overbearing. At no point did we ever feel pressurised to order more drinks, desserts etc. All of these combining factors made this a very special occasion indeed!

I will never return to this restaurant again, poor service waited 1hr to be served, two girls came in after me and they were served immediately and the waiter was chatting up one of the girls. I had to call the waiter over 3 times he told me he coming, then he ignored me and went to the bar checking his phone and drinking his tea. After 1 hour, and me going to the bar to get a waiter to take my order, no apologies for the delay, the food was over cooked and unappetising and the restaurant was empty so they weren’t rushed off there feet. I won’t be returning here again.

I celebrated my birthday here on Saturday with my family. It was a fabulous night, the food was fantastic (not one person was disappointed), and the staff were very attentive and good fun. We didn’t have to wait long for the food even though there were 9 of us. Will definitely go there again.

Amazing brunch place, the menu is really well thought out, the food tastes amazing, full of flavour. The servers are so professional and really take care of people. They have always been so friendly and make sure we had everything we needed. The place has seen a lot of renovation and it's huge now! The cocktail bar inside looks great! Love this place, deli is the best.

This is my second time eating at this place and I can say it is worth trying. I had the brunch menu and it was filling and reasonably priced for the quantity of the food served. I had the Chicken baguette with roasted vegetables served with chips and homemade coleslaw. My friend had the Sujuk wrap ( spicy Turkish sausage made from beef). The Sujuk sausage made from beef was delicious with tantalising spices and flavours. Please visit it's worth it

Birol was very attentive from the moment we was seated. He gave us excellent service and delivered the food fresh and in a orderly time. The starters were fresh and tasty. The mains came out piping hot and the food was reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back here!

I went to this restaurant/cafe on the recommendations of two friends, who dine there regularly. The evening was going well and I had although the food was nothing special, I had no complaints until it came to dessert. The waiters had up to this point been very courteous, polite and friendly up until this point. I ordered one of my favourite desserts - banoffee pie and boy was disappointed when it arrived. It was thick, with large chunks of banana, the caramel was NON-EXISTENT and the mascarpone was way too thick and had a slightly off taste - the dessert looked like it had been made by a child. First, I complained to a waitress passing by and she said it was lovely!!!!!. When the bill came I complained to one waiter, who called the head waiter/manager, who took it to the chef and came back and said it was very popular and there was nothing wrong with it. He wouldn't take the money off the bill, which was surprising when I came home and read the reviews that when other customers complained they gave them their money back or gave them something else as a "gesture of goodwill". No goodwill for our party. I wonder why???? I have been to much better restaurants and I never experienced such poor customer service. Any complaints, however small, were always received well and I would be offered an alternative or a free drink or money off the bill. I did ask for the dessert back so I could take a picture but was told it was already in the bin. CONVENIENT. I will never go back here.

Had a birthday party here and hired out a party of the back area. Such great customer service from start to finish. Birol in particular ensured we got the best deal in terms of booking and then was ultra attentive throughout the evening. A really great night!! All other staff lovely and helpful, drinks and cocktails great and lovely food. A really great choice for a birthday booking. Definitely recommend.

My daughter and I dropped in for a coffee but ended up eating a snack. The service was exceptional and the food good I will be back.

You are greeted with such friendly staff on arrival. The food tastes amazing and the cocktails are delicious. A particular favourite is the Long Island Iced Tea - wow you’ve just got to try it 😍 I leave with a smile on my face every single time! Great place - definitely recommend it!! You can also hire out the section at the back for special occasions. Go for it!

Mum's 80th Birthday Celebration (22 guests) - Researched the area (around 6 restaurants) for an ideal venue to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. Had to take into consideration that we wanted somewhere private but also accommodating for seniors who couldn't walk up and down flights of stairs. From when we entered to enquire, the Manager, Hussain, was very welcoming and took time to sit down and discuss our requirements. We decided on this venue because I had eaten there before for lunch and also they had an area that was ideal for a private celebration taking into consideration the needs of the guests. Birol and another colleague Marta, took care of us on the night. Birol was very attentive to my mum and all of the guests every step of the way to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. All of the staff that were there on the night were so lovely. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The atmosphere was wonderful, we were able to put up decorations and decorate the table, making it our own space. The food was great, tasty, served in a timely and efficient manner. The service was amazing and to top it off at the end of the night paying the bill, which can be a nightmare, was seamless!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much DeliNene :0)

Didn’t start too well as we were served two double G&Ts, neither of which had the slightest taste or smell of gin about them. All three of us tasted the drinks and were unanimous that they didn’t contain any gin at all. Advised the manager, who initially denied even being the manager, that I had no intention of paying for the drinks. I was advised that the drinks had to be paid for as they were now ‘in the computer system’. At length, after my repeatedly raising my complaint throughout the meal, the manager gracelessly announced that there would be no charge for the offending drinks after all. Although this cast bit of a pall over the evening, the food wasn’t bad at all; excellent lamb kebabs, cutlets and meatballs. However, I would never return.

I want to this restorant with my girl friend. The service was the worst I have around the place. There was not much people in the restorant, but we have neen waiting for one hour wondering when the food will come. We asked and we were told it is coming, but it was forgotten. We then asked and was told it was forgotten and they are making it. This could happen, but the way they approached us was not hospitable.

A great eatery. Lovely server and food. Incredible reasonable price wise and such a lovely setting.

We were greeted nicely by our waiter, he was attentive and made us feel comfortable. The food was tasty and came quickly. However, the reason we didn't give a higher rating is because a fly landed in our bottle of wine after we only had one glass each. The waitress, who was also the manager, had a really bad attitude when we told her about it. Firstly, she wanted to take the fly out of the wine and for us to carry on drinking it. When we said we'd prefer it to be replaced, she told us they aren't responsible for what happened with a hostile manner. She ended up swaping it for another bottle that had less wine in it. I would have expected her to replace the wine, especially as the cork wasn't left in the bottle. Her attitude put a dampener on our evening.

Amazing from start to finish! All of the staff were lovely. The food is out of this world. Quite possibly one of the best places we have been to. Can't wait to go again.

I can’t recommend Dele Nene enough! What a wonderful establishment. The staff are so friendly and always happy to provide whatever you need. They are so professional and regardless of the day of the week there is always a brilliant vibe in the restaurant. The cocktails are fantastic especially the mojitos and aperol spritz! They make them as they should be (no cheap alcohol). A special mention to Birol who makes us feel at home every time we dine here. Thanks for exceptional service time and time again!

This place always does a great brunch! It is always busy which is also a good sign. The portions are large and they have a range of options on the menu. Sometimes service can be a bit slow.

We went here on my daughter's recommendation and so glad I tried it. Enjoyed a brunch of Halloumi Wrap which was delicious. My friend had the Peri Peri Chicken steak which looked great and she said was very tasty. For dessert we went for the Banoffee pie - amazing! Service was good. All in all a very good experience and great value for money - we will return.

Had to review this place after our first visit for my Mum's birthday lunch. Such lovely people, great ambience and delicious food of excellent quality. A massive choice so something for everyone in our group age between 11 and 82. My elderly Dad had fish...

Great place for a cocktails and food. Especially the roast.

We have been regular at Deli Nene. But our last two visit has been disaster. Last week after our dinner we almost waited about 30 minutes for a coffee. Then they brought out iced coffee. It was replaced with normal coffee after another 15 minutes. It wasn't even ridiculously busy. We thought we will give another shot and today at 5.20pm we took a seat. We had menus dropped to us and got ignored. People arrived after us got served. And we waited another 15 minutes and decided to leave without getting served. I don't think we will be returning again. Even two members of staff walked passed us and greeted potential customers who were checkibg the menu on board. Shame on poor customer service on Deli Nene because we loved the place. A male server came straight out to approach couple of "pretty" women walking by to try and get them to come in and drink cocktails but totally ignored me and my partner. Absolutely disgusting customer service..

Surprisingly good little restaurant. It's a lot bigger inside than you think. Service very fast. Food is very tasty, fajitas were great but have also had a few other menu items. Will be back.
