Deli Mama in City of London, Westminster

Today I walked into this little restaurant. They had sushi you could buy in refrigerators and I believe Korean food you could buy already cooked. The staff was so nice and helpful and very attentive while I was eating. They gave me free samples to try the cooked food and were helpful with their recommendations. The food was fairly priced and I love helping small businesses. I will be back !

Freshly cooked aromatic hot dishes cooked on site and refrigerated dishes such as excellent wilted spinach salad and kimchi.

Really good quality sushi. Lots of variety, rice kept at the perfect temperature and very good quality fish. Teriyaki salmon with brown rice is also delicious. Wholly recommended.

Have been walking past here for a couple of months after moving to a new job and thought I'd pop in and try it as it always looks busy. Will definitely become a regular! Nice big portions for a "regular" size take-away box for £6.50 and the Chicken Katsu is really good - I had it with the noodles and I'm actually writing this in a little break as I'm struggling to finish it and that is almost unheard of for me as I've got a pretty good appetite!! The little guy who served me was very friendly but the woman on the till didn't even make eye contact as too busy talking to the guy next to her - can't have it all I suppose!! ;-)

They have a 2 for 1 offer which is pretty damn amazing. We got two sushi boxes for about £8 which is extremely cheap and filling. Overall good place.

It would be easy to walk past here and dismiss it as a bit shabby but it's an independent one-off City Japanese-Korean that offers some interesting and excellent food. Plenty of hot dishes on offer and a wide range of sushi selections and rice/fried chicken combos. Excellent sticky teriyaki sauce and an unusual drinks selection. Friendly staff and if you catch it right, you can buy your evening meal on a fabulous "2 for 1" deal before closing time. I'll be returning as the food was pretty darn acceptable.

we had lunch at Delimama, taste is very good and price is affordable. you can get Non veg, Pure Veg salad and Sushi food for best prices. All staff well cooperated and good view from window.

I must say, the ginger pork is delicious. It tastes fresh and the portion size is generous The pork looks and tastes quite unique and sauce complements it well A little less onion would make this the perfect dish I've had it twice today- for lunch and dinner!

There's usually a queue for the hot food, but this gets whittled away very quickly by the staff taking orders almost constantly. The portions are generous, and tasty for a takeaway lunch.

So I visited Delimama for the first time after walking past it many times. I always see a queue and people enjoying their food there so it was just waiting to be visited by me. I'll start with the good, then the bad and finally the ugly. Food: The food smelt good. Just waiting in line has you watering at the mouth as Homer Simpson would but surprisingly the staff get to you and serve you quickly and you're out in no time so all good there. They have a fair amount to choose from. Noodles, rice, beef, chicken and the chicken on sticks. They're super nice. Portions: Portions come in a take out box so if you want to eat till you fall asleep this place isn't for you. Service: This is the reason why I have 3* instead of 4 and I'll explain why. So even though the staff get through the line quick and manage to serve a lot of customers in a relatively short time, they lack the basic manners one would expect from any business. They seemed to get a bit annoyed when you asked about which dish contained which meat. And also charged for noodles they didn't give and refused to accept it since they didn't give a receipt (probably should've asked for it). Difference of a few quid but still annoying. All in all good was nice though. Try the sweet chilly chicken and the chicken sticks. And ask for a receipt. Price wise it isn't the cheapest but not surprising for the city. Min. Spend would end up around £6-7.

Looked forward to Chicken Katsu all morning, ordered paid extra for fried rice , got back to office to find no Katsu Curry only half a tub of rice! No phone number or website to complain, always check your order before you leave as it won't be rectified after.

I have been going to the cafe for my dinner since 2013. The foods are amazing and the staff are lovely too which is a bonus.

Been coming here for years and there just isn't anything that can compete with this katsu curry takeaway.

Excellent selection of oriental foods - Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. You can eat in or take away ; sushi, bento boxes, soups, dumplings, and a brilliant selection of multiple combination hot dishes, with your choice of rice and noodles. Dishes include sizzling chicken, a fantastic chicken katsu curry, salmon or chicken teriyaki, vegetable tofu, green thai curry etc - and spring rolls, tempura king prawns and a small selection of dim sum. Non wheat eaters not only have a choice of white AND brown rice but also rice noodles. Highly recommended.
