Deli licous in Three Rivers

Met a friend for a cuppa in the middle of the afternoon. Great hot chocolate. Accommodated our requested for some frothy milk for my friends toddler, which they didn’t charge for. Would definitely return.

We are regular visitors to this coffee shop and often go for lunch or drinks. It is such a lovely place, staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is tasty. Definitely the best place for coffee in the village.

I paid £12 for 2 toasties (a savory and a sweet one for after) and a tea up front. I waited 1/2 an hour for a tea which came without milk. Then a further 20 minutes later, my desert toastie came out which was 2 pieces of hard dried toast at body / blood temperature with a bit of filling. They had completely forgotten about my other toastie. I demanded a refund which I admit they did without arguing. I spent my money over the road at a traditional cafe for one of the best slap-up breakfasts I have ever had!

A coffee shop with great food and a welcome feel. The young lad makes an excellent coffee and the recommendation of avocado on toast was no less than perfect. He certainly brought service with a charm and a smile - something rare these days. Would definitely recommend.

Never paid no attention to us as we came though door. Myself and friend stood in middle of cafe like spare parts not knowing there system whilst covid is here. Tried checking into app again ignored. Got our own menu. Then when asking if there had cakes as advertised on window the lady was not approachable. Seemed as it was an effort. We got up and left 😔

My Wife,Annie, and I use this little coffee house regularly, minutes walk from village car Park. Fantastic individual customer service, especially for the elderly.The staff seem to know what they have, even ensuring that they get water or squash to rehydrate. Lovely little Gem. Service and food is perfect. Great place to meet up and chat with friends. Additional tables outside.

Absolutely outstanding service with amazing food. Whether its drinks, Ice Creams or Sandwiches, it will be delicious. Highly recommend Café.

I met up with a friend mid morning on a weekday for a tea / coffee and a piece of cake. It's a friendly enough place with a council car park a few minutes walk away. There was the option of a piece of banana bread / cake or the equivalent made with avocado. With the exception of carrot and squash (they both contain natural sugars) no self respecting cake should be made from vegetables. It got busier and noisier towards lunchtime when accompanied dogs and toddlers appeared.

The staff are always very friendly and the coffee is amazing. The banana bread warm and toasted with butter on is delicious and great as a treat for successfully running errands.

Coming in here feels more like visiting a communiuty centre, but with great coffee and a whole variety of naughty cakes. Everyone seems to know each other, there's lots of chat and a really great atmosphere. Their cappuccino is excellent and I alway seem to succumb to some temptation or another. This time it was a chocolate brownie and very good it was too, except for my waist line! This is what an independent coffee shop does for a village centre.

All of the staff are so friendly, me and my dog always get a friendly welcome no matter how busy they are. Everything i’ve tried has always been great and the coffee is always good. Spot on for a take away coffee and sandwich or a sit down brunch! Great to have it in Abbots!

It’s not hard to see why this coffee shop is so popular with locals. The welcome could hardly have been friendlier and the service any better. My cappuccino was excellent and the chocolate brownie was seriously yummy. This was just about the perfect cafe experience.

Such a welcome when entering. Very good coffee and a good variety of sandwiches and goodies on toast. There is always a specials board for a change. The quality of everything served is tip top. The staff very friendly and service First Class. A super place to meet friends. We will be back.

A tiny place but well worth the visit. We had vegetarian Sandwiches which were tasty and well seasoned, made of fresh tasty bread and juicy ingredients. Took a fair few minutes to come but was worth the wait.

Have been staying in Abbots for a month with family whilst our house in Watford is renovated. I’m almost sad that our house is ready to move back into now because my morning coffee won’t be anywhere near as good as it has been the last few weeks! Very friendly staff.. if they could just open a branch on my route to work that would be great :)

Lovely evening with glass of wine and wood fired pizza. Great place to while away a couple of hours waiting for Scouts to finish! Friendly and attentive service.

I have been to Coffeehouse and Deli multiple times now for a girls tapas and Prosecco evening and have been greeted by really friendly staff and delicious food. I would highly recommend it as an evening escape.More recently I have been for a pizza and wine evening which has only recently been launched and all I can say is that I have booked a table for my next girls night out already. It was delicious!

Thursday night was pizza night, super pizzas from a wood fired oven (the best way to cook pizzas IMO), friendly & attentive service.

Went for first time on Saturday for lunch. Bit cosy and tight for space but we got a table. Menu not that mind blowing but we ordered - got there about 12.30 and not that busy but took 45 mins before food arrived. Was delicious when it finally turned up but took far too long and only 2 staff were on. Would definitely go back but they need more weekend staff

I really think this is the best place for coffee and cake. Wonderful surroundings and a great ambiance for all.

Stopped by for lunch - nice menu with a choice of all day breakfast items (such as avocado on toast, eggs and pastries), sandwiches and toasted sandwiches, plus a small specials board and some homemade cakes. I had the chicken, avocado and salad sandwich on sourdough bread which was delicious. Good coffee too, with service which was prompt and friendly. A pleasant place to while away time before picking kids up from school or whilst visiting the high street.

Lovey home made piping hot vegetable soup today in Abbott's on such a cold day. Thank you Coffee House&Deli; x

I visit this little coffee shop quite a lot and it is lovely. However, on my last visit, I waited over 15 minutes to get my order taken and it took them over 20 minutes to make me a toasted sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, but it was a long time to wait! BUT I would still recommend it.

We went for a coffee and there was a big dog that was trying to eat a customers food off the table no matter how much he push him away the dog wouldn’t leave him alone until the owner paid attention to his dog!! On another visit there were two little dogs in there!!

Really good coffee but it's a shame they add 30p for soya. So many people drink soya now so it's unlikely it gets wasted and it's cheap to buy. Good service, lovely decor.

Having been frequent daytime visitor decided to give the Tapas evening a try. Lovely evening with good food and friendly staff - it was packed out so worth booking your place! Thoroughly recommend.

We popped in here for coffee and had a latte and an americano. Both were very weak and pretty tasteless. The staff appeared distracted by what seemed to be a business meeting that was going on in the cafe. We'll go elsewhere next time.

Pop in for lunch with my very fussy wife, the staff bent over backwards to prepare a lovely meal. coffee was great made by a young gentleman. The place is full of nik-naks that catch the eye and with a free paper to read heaven.Will try and make this place my weekly treat A*.

We had brunch here- coffee tasted good but the food was a tad overpriced for what it was. £6 for a panini with a tiny salad (we are talking a quarter of a slice of a tomato and a few lettuce leaves) and 8 crisps is not good value for money. My partner had a sandwich (£3.90) which was priced about right.Service was good once we realised we had to order at the till.

Excellent service. Friendly Staff. Best cappuccino in abbots. Lovely fresh sandwiches. Most of the time i take out, now and again i have had a bacon sandwich and sit in. Does get busy and it is small inside, I would recommend.

Called in here for coffee with a friend. Quite a small coffee shop but the staff were friendly. The coffee was very good. There were quite a few people in I found it very noisy everything seemed to echo. They sell jewellery and some quite nice scarves.

Nice place to stop for coffee and/ or snacks. Can be snug during busy periods but generally the establishment is comfortable.Nice friendly staff tooSome foods can be more than other local establishments, however the range of food can work around this.

On a cold foggy morning decided to take up the special pr ice for hot drink and bacon roll £2.90. The crusty roll and bacon was very good but the coffee was awful. I asked for a white coffee and was served white foam on top with very weak stewed coffee underneath.
