Lovely place Amazing staff great food well recommended 10/10

Been going here for decades. Delivery service is handy too. The food has been consistently good forever! The price is reasonable and the staff are amazing!

Disappointed as we had heard great things. The fish pakora batter was too salty. One of our kormas was too strong the poppadoms were stale. We carried out, and the service was very slow.

Got take out and was so disappointed. The mushroom pakora was cremated, asked for garlic naan as don't take rice and there was no way this was garlic naan, it was thick and doughy and not a bit of garlic in site, tastes just like shop bought ones. Got chips so thought safe bet to eat with curry but they were dried out, so had chicken Korma on its own, which was lovely by the way hence 2stars. Been coming here for so many years but won't be back

First time, food lovely but had to wait a while for a table we had reserved...and way too many tables for such a small restaurant. Packed in like sardines which made for slightly uncomfortable dining...rethink your booking/seating strategy guys coz your food is great!

We waited 25 mins for a table then when our food came my chicken tika was burt I know ment to but the whole lot was even the onions were burnt. I love this place but lastnight put me of

Horrible people. Liars. Saturday takeaway took TWO AND A HALF hours! But when we phoned after one and a half hours (stated delivery time just over 1hr), they argued and sarcastically berated us. When we phoned back after 2 hrs, they argued about how long it was since we ordered and gave false time. Liars. They then said "if you're not happy, phone us". but were on the phone - for the second time. Customer service - all they had to do was tell us food (over £70) was running a bit late and apologise. We had visitors from Ayrshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh. All have vowed to never use this company again, purely because of their unprofessional conduct and nasty, angry customer service.

Absolutely awful customer service. 2 hours 40 minutes to arrive, continually lied about the order... Suggested this was somehow our fault? Food arrived all spilled everywhere.

Nous avons mangé avec un groupe d’adolescents et l’expérience était privilégié. Seuls dans le restaurant ce soir là, nous avons pu apprécié la chaleur du service et le goût des plats. Les quantités sont généreuses. Nous avons choisis 3 menus à partager à 4 pour 14 personnes et personne n’est resté sur sa faim. Je vous recommande d’y manger.

Had to send undercooked chicken tikka back.they even done me out of half an Achari when they took the tikka back,then returned tikka only ,by that time the nan was cold like the rest of the Achari.charged for full tikka and achari. Wasn't going to make a scene for them to pass the bill about and get a tenner back.just won't be back .Bad service.

Just left this place everyone’s meal was amazing starters etc; I got a chicken Maryland but the chicken etc was burnt meal was sent back was asked if I wanted anything else after this I didn’t want anything o but was charged a fill meal shocking after it wasn’t edible 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 not happy!!!!!!

Placed my order for home delivery...guy delivered....sent a partly wrong order....phoned them back to let them know....guy on the phone said....if you want us to send out what you ordered you will have to pay for the wrong part of the order we sent out......don't think so....😡....won't be calling back

Extremely disappointing. Been a regular in here for several years and would now never return the food was not good which I could put down as a 1 off bad night however staff were extremely RUDE it's ashame but It would seem as they have opened their new restaurant in the city centre they have filled this place with new staff that are not up to the mark

Our favourite restaurant. Food is amazing and portions are very generous. Authentic food at its best ! Can't comment on take away food as we prefer to dine in.

Have been going to the Delhi for 40 years and never had bad meal first class as always

I booked a table for 6.30 turned up and the place was extremely busy and ques to get in. We were told to sit at the bar but could be 1 hour wait and in the climate of covid all guests were like sardines in the bar so we left. Disgusted at a place that lives on it's name and gets away with this type of service. They are over booking tables I think. I realised when booking it would be busy but not to the extent what we experienced .

Lovely food and great service as always, very friendly even though it was busy they were all still smiling, just had dinner with the family for my mum's birthday and we all loved it. Thank you, great to be back out and about

Went to the deli darba in Bishopbriggs on Christmas day it was fabulous we were in for the 6pm serving the place was full and the atmosphere was great the staff were excellent so patient fast at serving our dinners there was a good choice to choose from and they even made me something that wasn't on the xmas menue the restaurant had father Xmas going round with a present for all the kids I would say we all enjoyed the whole experience food was great and I cannot recommend this place highly enough going back next year hopefully thanks everyone at the deli darbar

Still the best Indian restaurant in the area but had takeaway last night and was disappointed the tea time menu only had 7 pcs of chicken and lots of sauce for 10.95 a bit weak

food is lovely, great service is 5⭐ can't find a fault, been lots of times, if you don't want to sit I you can order out.

Food lovely but felt seriously unsafe due to the number of people with no masks arriving and also moving around the restaurant- won’t be back to eat in restaurant until this is sorted

Food was brilliant as always!!!! However I was really shocked tonight and totally outraged as I found out The staff received no tips. I've been going there for 15 to 20 years and I always tip the staff well. They deserve it!!! I couldn't believe it when I learned the staff never got anything at all. Something has to be done Bout this!!!

Ordered two curries, naans, Biriyani tonight, cost us 34 pounds, but all the curries came out of a jar. The veg karahi had a stale flavour, I have to throw it. It was higher priced that the paneer. Both were just red curries from the large curry sauces you find in wholesales. We ordered at 5 and the food came after 6,that is after I did a follow up call. Totally shocked by the food today, never had such a bad experience with this place before.

It’s went right down hill I have just received the most bland tasteless chicken bhoona and I garlic naan bread that wasn’t garlic cold tasteless time try the bay leaf in posso. Raging

Was in for a sit in meal Friday night with my Friend Linda the place was busy, that's always a good sign the decor is exactly the way I.like it traditionally Indian , the staff were very pleasant and attentive and the food is fantastic, I eat out all the time and know good food and this is very good , cant wait to go back and the prices are very reasonable, loved it 😁

Booked table for 7 yesterday, got confirmed, then went and said we are all out of tables had too wait outside for 30 mins then phoned and booked kebabish that accommodated us! will it be back at Delhi darbar side note the food wasn’t even upto much the last time was here don’t even know where there getting their raving reviews from LOL

don't buy any thing from this place they food is so bad l had to give it to the dog even he would not eat it chicken was reheated pakora was not much better l phoned em told em about the rotten meal said they would phone back they never did your lost a customer for life

My wife had lamb bhuna she loved it but I had chicken tikka and it was awful, obviously not freshly cooked it was tough and was most certainly taken from old stock time and time again this happens , restaurant tikka is amazing takeaway so so poor and not the first time

Food is plentiful and you come away with some too. It is reasonably priced - it you want a "cheap" curry from all angles it is fine, but not a patch on Mother India - true Indian Cuisine. Don't complain as they don't understand customer service or satisfaction. Do not touch the deserts they are like chewing plastic.
