Delhi 41 in Chesterfield

It was OK very slow service, to busy sorting take ways out than concentrating on people in actual restaurant. Took an hr to get our picked try ,even though there was only an hand full of people in .

Tandoori Lamb Chops Curry Dish! I really enjoyed the flavour, I can still taste it from last night's meal...

Spent the night on the toilet and still unwell 24hrs later after eating here last night.

Not the first time iv been but will not returning...food was very bland one our starters look like over cooked McDonald's beef burger as for the main course was tasteless sorry guys ...restaurant is clean modern

Overcharged a little but nice food.

Nice restaurant and really nice food except for the naan which was flat and stodgy however staff playing videos loud whilst we were eating I didn't appreciate and also multiple staff coming in to the dining room plus others coming in not eating and all chatting loud and sounded like they were having a business meeting was off putting to say the least. When you're a paying guest you expect a nice quiet meal but this was anything but!

Fantastic food even better company

First time customer, ordered online. 0 star Tandoori butter chicken was over salted, as if an ingredient had been switched, we were so shocked, the chicken pieces were washed down from the sauce and the rest of the dish was binned. 1 star Lamb Tikka (starter) was 2 smallish pieces of meat, cut in half. Bit dry, still tender enough to have some taste. 2 stars Paratha a bit thin in stuffing so tasted mostly of the bread. 3 stars Dall Samber was just ok, enjoyed the flavour.

Always great food in this restaurant. Went last night as a party of 8 , we ordered the special chicken and lamb both of which need to be ordered with 24 hours notice . Both were superb .

First time customers. Waited 90mins for our order. Was stone cold when it arrived. App said it was with courier for more than 30 mins. Couldn’t eat it. Cost a fortune… thought it would be good.

amazing food! ordered three different curries, a meat platter, 2 naans, poppadoms and rice for £45 ish. You get alot for your money and delivery was under an hour, food was still hot and lovely :)

The food here is amazing! I'm from Bradford I know a good curry when I taste one so trust me in this one it's well worth the visit.

Delivery Chicken Tikka Dhansak, pulao rice, prawn puri, cucumber raitha. All delivered rapidly, hot, and very good quality. £16.95 all up, no delivery charge. Highly recommended!

If I could leave zero stars I would…I had tried the Italian place opposite Georgia’s but it was packed out so settled for this restaurant. Seeing a few people inside we decided to try it. The waiter serving seemed to be a sandwich short of a picnic. After taking our order and serving us flat cokes we were hoping that the food would be refreshing…hold that thought instead the food was so bland and lacking in any flavour. We had to force ourselves to eat as we were hungry but couldn’t finish the food as each mouthful was not stimulating any of my senses.When the other guy not waiter asked about our meal I just had to tell him the food lacked taste after all I’m paying for it and they ought to know that serving tasteless food will not lead to repeat customers. My advice to you all is just keep on walking, cycling or driving past this place unless you prefer to waste £40 on 2 bland starters 2 tasteless curry dishes and 2 flat cokes. What a total disappointment to Asian cuisine by a long shot. My wife could teach them how to make a authentic curry and more.

Brilliant menu with great service.

We've just had a meal, & the chips was rock hard the rice was dry as bone, nan bread was very overdone, chicken bhuna was OK but hardly any sauce it was definitely not worth the money & I won't be going bk, the reviews looked good aswell and I went as soon as they opened very disappointed

We have been going to eat there on a regular basis for many years with friends. The last time we went was very disappointing, we felt like an inconvenience, the waiter was rude and mumbled as he walked away as we weren’t ready to order even though we were the only people dining in. The poor service and manners have put us off going there again.

Great food but delivered me the first time for £12:90 same order then asked to be delivered again same address and same order and told me no £15 min order order

Ordered for delivery through Uber Eats and they cancelled my order because they decided to close early... Even though they close at 10pm through Uber Eats and 10:30pm on their own website, so they're still open an extra half an hour after the listed closing time on Uber Eats. First time and last time ordering, congratulations on losing a potential new customer, awful service.

I've had two takeaways from here in the last few weeks and neither has been any better than average. There was a time that I loved eating here but I have had much better from other Indian restaurants. The food is by no means bad, it's just not got that wow factor that it used to have.

The restaurant has the appearance of casual dining in although we had a takeaway.It was one of the best indian meals Ive had. We ordered enough for 4 so that we had a meal next day also. We will return again, fab food

Nan bread burnt, couldn't get the order right, the waiter walked around like he was on drugs and the curry was cold. To top it off, 3 paid cash and I went to pay the rest on card. He threw the money in the register without counting and tried to rip me off for £20.

An award winning restaurant, I like to try other restaurants but always come back here as it is my favourite Indian restaurant friendly staff and the service is fist class, the food is superb 👌 what more can you want.

Arrived early on a quiet Sunday night. 2 of about 10 tables taken. No reservations on any of the tables. Asked for table for 1 , and was refused. Pathetic.

Haven’t been into the restaurant but had several takeaways over the years. Our favourite Indian restaurant we’ve tried & rarely find anything to complain about. Great food.

Placed an order for delivery. They accepted then cancelled! Phoned to ask why? Just said too far away. Now we have to get in touch with just eat to ask for refund! Very poor customer service ... order with caution!!

We had a fantastic meal at Delhi 41, with great customer service! The food was stunning and definitely coming back again!

So after trying this for the first time last night I was disappointed. The staff didn't once ask how our food was, and even when they came to the table they didn't speak. Found it extremely rude. The naan bread, onion bahjis and chips were completely tastless. The curry was half decent. Would not be returning.

Thank you Dehli 41 for making another birthday celebration so much better with your amazing food.. we did over stay but its just such a great place you don't want to leave.

I went in with my family to dine in here, after recommendations from my friends! This turned out to be absolutely fantastic, definetly the best Indian I have ever been to! The staff is really disrespectful. The food quality is below average. Ambience is very shady. Hygiene is the worst.

I was on my own and felt rude asking for 1 poppadom and pickle tray but nothing was too much trouble. Amazing chicken Madras and the garlic rice was absolutely amazing. Best curry I’ve had in a long time.

Went on a Saturday evening and whilst it was fairly busy they were still happy to accommodate us straight away. There was no kingfisher on draught so opted to try the Indian King which was OK. Poppadoms and pickle tray were good, Mint was nice and thick but the lime pickle was a little too cold so didn't have much taste. I had the Lamb Naga with Pilau Rice, very hot dish with lovely soft pieces of lamb. Friendly helpful staff, would visit again

Both the CTM and the chicken balti were tasty but were lacking in chicken and too much sauce / gravy. Worth a try but not the best I've ever had.

Great food freshly cooked. The waiter is a bit strange. It's a bit like Faulty Towers, but hey the foods great. My tandoori chicken was the best I've ever tasted.

Absolutely shocking and that's just the service went in on a Tuesday night so no customers in basically was told what table then came over to take order! We ordered then drinks arrived and my husbands come was completely flat so asked for a replacement and was told its because we asked for ice in the drink ??? Ordered the food just prior then another member of staff came in and was chatting to the original waiter clearly talking about us then said hello then continued to chat clearly about us to the point we felt extremely uncomfortable and had to leave on leaving the restaurant I made it quite clear we were aware they were talking about us and so just replied sorry no denial at all 🤔😳

Terrific meal out last last, very tasty! Onion Bhajis were particularly good! Asked for my Bhuna to have a little bit of heat and it was perfect 😋 will visit again for sure.

Fantastic service and delicious food, absolutely nothing more we could have asked for. Also went above and beyond, gave us a bottle opener for our air bnb after the meal! Highly recommended.

My first visit here with a Friend since the Pandemic Lockdowns. I have had a few Takeaways , but I had not been in the Restaurant for a Meal since March 2020. Thankfully , things had not changed ! Service was prompt and friendly and the Food was up to the usual excellent standard ( Lamb Bhuna , Chicken Tikka Ceylon and Aloo Chatni ). My Friend's first visit here- He was suitably impressed. Thanks to all the Staff at Delhi 41. We will certainly return !

Well we decided to visit this Indian and had no expectations what so ever, but found it to be one of the best Indian meals we have had. It was a little gem that we will hopefully visit again when we are in the area.

We went here for a family evening meal and found the food to be excellent. Service was good if a little slow due to it being a Saturday night and they were doing a lot of take away's, but we were not in a hurry so it suited us. Highly recommend, will go again.

Always good food, was delivered early

Order arrived incomplete. Ordered 2 egg rice and only 1 was delivered. Asked for onions to be substituted for mint sauce & this was not fulfilled first time. Poppadoms were crushed to pieces. Korma was bland. Jalfrezi was leaking from container. Very disappointed.

Booked a table last minute, went as recommended by a friend. Not disappointed. Food and service great.

Terrible tandoori chicken and prawns Expensive, and not recognisable as tandoori.- both chicken and prawns were insipid, in a sauce, not roasted in tandoori spices. The meat should have been dry and delicious, it was wet and tasted ‘old’. No idea why this restaurant has such high ratings. Maybe the takeaway service is a different business. So don’t get a takeaway. It ruined my birthday feast.

Good quality as usual, however the delivery was short of one portion of rice and a pickle tray. I phoned the restaurant who were quite rude saying they were busy and couldn't redeliver the missing items for at least an hour! I had to contact JE to lodge a complaint as nothing heard from Delhi41 after 2 weeks. Compensation for just the missing items is really not good enough for a spoilt meal with friends. We have been regular customers with Delhi41 for many years, both eat-in and takeaway but probably for the last time, there are other very good Indian style restaurants locally which will be our go- to now.

Food ready earlier than stated so when I collected it had been out 20 mins. Bhajis smaller than usual and salad was brown and very wet and very warm from being in the bag for 20 mins. Curry bland despite asking for apna style snd not much chicken.

The food here is great in the restaurant, however when i tried to have a takeaway from here i was told that my order did not qualify for delivery. They only deliver orders over £20. I was prepared to pay for delivery!. Im a single lady who cant eat £20 worth of food. So unless you have a massive appetite, all single people can forget getting a takeaway here. Very disappointing that you insist on such large orders.

Food did not tasted as indian food. There was lot of oil in handi dish while butter chicken was sweet with coconut curry. Didnt like it.

Food was late, clearly only starting making our order after we phoned and then increased the order to what was stated on Just Eat App! The food was rushed and not cooked as well as would expect, hard vegetables etc. Will not ever be using again!

Order over 1 and a half hours late, I'd already chased up at 30 minutes late and was told it would be another 30 minutes max. To add insult the O.Hs chicken was pink and inedible. Mine was lovely, but overall the service & food quality is poor. Will go back to Ashoka.

I can safely say that was the best Indian I have ever had (Shatkora). Great flavour with that essence of lime, the chicken was tender and the pilau rice cooked perfectly. Was delivered within 2 minutes of when they said it would be too. What is there not to like!

Favourite takeaway delivered to my door!

Food is great, but ordered early and took nearly two hours to arrive. Then received wrong order. Took a while to confirm what was missing on the phone, and was asked to collect in 30 mins which we agreed to. Partner went and collected and they had cooked the wrong curry again! Had to wait another half an hour for the food. Took nearly 4 hours to get the order right when we ordered at half 5 on a Saturday before rush

Food didn’t have much flavour and was cold on arrival, meat was dry in the curries
