One of the best med restaurants we've been to. Had the mixed grill all good really well. The liver was good to start as well. Efes on tap which is a bonus

An other excellent dinner for me! This restaurant does have my full recommendation. I have personally visited the place several times and had anytimes an excellent kitchen and a very personal and mindful service.

I had soup of the day (lentil soup), falafel that came with a bit of hummus and baclava with ice cream as dessert. I am not a vegetarian, but I enjoyed the dishes apart from the ice cream.I got so bloated 😩 that I thought I will explode. But the rest of the dishes were great. The baclava was nutty and sweet, very nice.

It is my favorite restaurant and I recommend it to everyone. The food is very delicious, the service is very good, and most importantly, it is very clean..❤️🤍

Had a family birthday here for a party of 11 on a Saturday evening. The service was really good and staff were very attentive. All the food was served hot and was full of flavour. For 2 course with drinks it was approx £34 per head, which is very reasonable. The meat was succulent and very nice. Would recommend giving it a try.

Another great experience at this restaurant in Childwall I wasn't in the mood for Turkish food to be honest but I really enjoyed my meal Piping hot large portions and the staff are very friendly and welcoming

2nd time I've been. Travelled from Northumberland. Food is excellent, as is the service. Thoroughly recommend it.

Overall this was an average experience. The food was slightly above average compared with other Turkish restaurants I've been to. When the main meal says it comes with chips, I expect more than about 8. The bit of salad that came with the main wasn't great either. I have to give the service 3 stars unfortunately. The staff member that served us, although pleasant enough seemed to be unnecessarily trying to hurry us up in choosing what we wanted to eat. On the plus side, the atmosphere was generally good.

Been a few times to this lovely family restaurant at Taggert Avenue in Childwall .A very warm welcome always , lovely food and helpful friendly staff .We’re working our way through the menu but my favourite is the seafood casserole! Great kebabs , sea bass and lamb shank .

Had never been before but will deffo be returning ...food was outstanding but but its the service that takes it to the next level ...every time the next diners arrived the two ladies waiting on went straight to the door to greet them ....on first name terms ...with their children also .. .kids are very welcomed and made a fuss of ... Last night was our 1st visit here and we felt so welcomed by the lovely staff Jane , Deb and Mowan . The food arrived and I can honestly say it was outstanding . This is an excellent Turkish restaurant. The food is excellent, served in generous portions and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and attentive. The wine list is limited but attractively priced. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I would recommend it unreservedly.

Such a unreal restaurant. Food is gorgeous and all the staff are so nice and polite!! But my favourite thing is the bread😍

Een restaurant met een wel zeer uitgebreide menukaart met allemaal typisch Turkse gerechten. Zelfs met een grote groep wordt alles bekwaam en netjes afgehandeld. Bediening is vlot en sympathiek. Enige minpuntje in plaats van kerst muziek hadden we liever Turkse muziek gehoord.

If you are a vegetarian, I wouldn't recommend going here. I had a tiny portion of veggie moussaka which was tasteless and soggy. And the rice was also tasteless. It was very expensive for what I was given.

I really enjoyed our evening at Define, in fact it was a great evening, the waitress explained some of the menu for our group, everyone cleared their plates and the service was also excellent, a very friendly team they have working there, we will most certainly be eating there again.

Was mid week when we went so pretty quiet. Still the service was great, just enough attention without feeling like you were being watched. The food was freshly made and absolutely delicious. The kids menu is good, our daughter loved the chicken wings and chips, plus an ice cream

2nd time visiting. Wonderful hot starter platter for 2. Then fantastic main course Beytie? Had to take a doggy bag home as just so much food.

I ordered a lamb steak. A "steak" which had a large bone in the centre. Probably 60% bone. Overcooked and tasteless. Forgettable chips and they don't serve vegetables. Total ripoff. When I complained, the owner gave me a long story about her butcher. Never apologised, no discount. Charged me full price. I was with family, so I didn't want to make a scene but I will never go there again. Beware!

I took my dad here for food as he's Turkish to make him feel at home ☺️. The food was incredible, some of the best meals I've eaten in a long time. I would recommend this to anyone, great service and lovely atmosphere.

It was a great place with lots of delicious food. It is very near to my university and I like to go there on the weekdays. They also have a space to sit outside too which is best for summer sunshine:) I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

It was our first time at Defne, this restaurant has a lovely friendly atmosphere, there were 5 of us, we had 5 different starters, 4 different mains and 2 different desserts, all of our food was amazing, fresh and hot, the service was great and we will definitely be recommending it to others and returning ourselves. Going this restaurant on a day visit to New Brighton promenade in Wallasey. Delightful cosy placed with friendly staff. Food was fresh, tasty and presented well. Lucky local people having a nice place in their neighbourhood.

Decided to try Defne the first time for our Wedding Anniversary. Service was excellent and the lunch time special ensured that the price was very reasonable. The food was delicious and plentiful but not so much that we were overwhelmed. An excellent experience.

Lovely chicken casserole followed by some delicious baklava made for a pleasant, alfresco evening out. Portions are generous and staff, very obliging.

Really nice food, although lamb isn't as tasty than I hoped. Meatballs and rice are delicious and salad could add a touch more seasoning. Tahini sauce is a must.

Well I must say that is one of the best chicken kebabs I have ever had I got a takeaway tonight from here and it was outstanding , chicken so tender so tasty the rice and salad was perfect also , I got a tortilla wrap added on and it was DELICIOUS 5 stars out of 5 for me Definitley , I will be returning

two days ago was the first time we went to this restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We had great time with the good service, with the excellent dishes and wine and with the friendly pay. We will absolutely return there again.

Really nice food and service was very hospitable. Portions are definitely on the larger side, but were tasty, well presented and authentic. Good value too.

Hi first time visit despite being on the door step Food and service was excellent my wife had the sea bass which was delicious and perfectly cooked myself the mix kebab which again was first rate look forward too visiting again soon
