Dario Pizzaria in Glasgow City

This is the worst takeaway experience I have had. Pizza was very very undercooked. I phoned restaurant and owner was quite abusive. I was told to' be quiet and you listen to me' after I asked if we could get a replacement. He then shouted 'No' then hung up. I phoned back and he continued to shout over me. We put the food in the bin. I would urge anyone to choose another takeaway.

Regularly serving lukewarm pizzas from takeaway that are stone cold after five minutes. Keep your prematurely made pizza warm.

Shalom brothers, ordered an over priced 18” pizza for over £20, 2 hours later and it’s still not arrived. Tried calling the shop after 1 hour was advised it was leaving the shop, what a jabba the hut of a monstrosity of a place. Hopefully the place burns down, goes out of business or gets shut down by the health authorities. Any of them to better health of the shawlands community.

The delivery was 30 minutes late and we didn’t receive our dips. The fries were chewy and pizza was very salty. Definitely would not recommend.

Turned up at the pizzeria with only my card, unaware that it was cash-only. The staff were friendly and dealt with my order before allowing me to pay the next day when I had cash available. They also provided me with cardboard boxes on request, to assist with packing up my flat.

Thought we would order an Italian meal tonight for a celebration. From reading the menu on Just Eat and Deliveroo, it came across as a nice restaurant..... silly me for not checking. We ordered Motzarella Fritta, Chilli Bites and the Calamari to share.. Thick battered calamari rubbery rings, chewy Motzarella blocks. The chilli bites were okay. Then we had Penne Diavola and Spaghetti Frutti De Mare... My spaghetti was over cooked and mushy aswell as the generic mixed seafood bits and both mains had the same tomato sauce.... The reviews of the pizzas seem okay so probably better as a pizza takeaway rather than offering other mediocre Italian dishes. For £30 something pounds I wish I had looked further into the reviews and gone elsewhere...

Best mozzarella sticks ever!! Generous portion. Also like the selection of pasta. I always pick up my delivery so it's fresh - lucky cos I'm a local

Visited on the 9/8 and was treated like a ‘drunk girl’ even though I had just finished a 12hour shift. I was given old chips by a previous order that wasn’t picked up, which was cold and was ready instantly as I I didn’t even see the chips come out of the frier. Lesson learnt - do not visit if you are a solo female -past midnight as they will hurry you out the shop with old orders, which have been failed to collect.

Les pizzas sont arrivées froides et avaient l'air d'avoir été préparées à l'avance puis réchauffées. Le garlic bread et les frites... une plaisanterie, nous ne les avons même pas mangés.

I always order the thin crust New York pizza with pineapple and it's definitely my favourite place to order late night pizza in the southside 😁

Everything arrived cold!! We ordered two pizzas and a side of jalapeno bites for home delivery. Our total order cost £28 including delivery (over an hour). I have never been so disappointed. It was definitely not worth the money, as the quality is substandard. I immediately called the takeaway and explained that our meal had arrived cold and the reason we ordered a takeaway was because our microwave and oven was awaiting repair. I also explained that we has no means to reheat our order. They didn't even apologise! They said we lived too far away and it was impossible to maintain the heat, (2.3 miles away to be exact) Why offer a delivery then!!! They did however offered us a free pizza on our next order. Ha, no thanks. I will never order anything from this place again. Please don't waste your money.

I ordered the New York pizzas online and they arrived on time 40 minutes later. All I can say is that the pizza was average. One of them had burnt toppings. Not bad but not great either.

Usually collect pizzas from here and they've been good and great value for money over the years. Phoned for a delivery tonight. Pizza and foccacia were overdone and quite hard. Pepperoni was burnt. Annoying as it was more expensive than a collection. Shame. VERY disappointed. Won't be phoning again 😠

Ordered a caesar salad for an italian restaurant it was horrible since when do you put green/red peppers, sweetcorn, onions, olives and sundried tomatoes in it!!! The procciuto pizza was all wet, the thin crust option wasn't followed. It was disgusting. Will NEVER AGAIN order food from there. Very disappointing.

Absolutely shocked and disgusted by the customer service of Dario's. Ordered a pizza and waited over an hour for it to be delivered, only to call them and find out the address had been input as a collection though we received email confirmation of delivery. They should have called us first if the delivery info was I correct as we were not aware. Once we confirmed the correct address, a delivery man came with the pizza and blatantly lied to us by telling us it was fresh and hot - it wasn't. It had been left sitting on the counter for an hour so we're not prepared to pay for sub standard cold food. He then proceeded to argue with us and say it was our fault! We have been regular customers for a long time and have always spoke very positively of the food and service but not anymore. The sheer audacity and lack of care and attention from the staff and delivery man has destroyed their reputation for us. As a loyal paying customer I do not expect to be harassed over the phone and in my doorway when clearly it was not our fault. Order from elsewhere, pizza lovers - this establishment does not deserve your custom.

Pedimos pizza a Dario's y fuimos a recogerla. Las personas que trabajaban allí eran amables y parecían estar trabajando bastante duro (me sentí un poco mal por ellas). Hicieron nuestras pizzas y fueron increíbles! El tipo del sur de Italia en nuestro grupo dijo que la pizza era la mejor pizza que tenía en casi 7 años mientras vivía en Glasgow, así que ¡guau!

Pedí la hamburguesa hamburguesa era comida empapados, las alas de pollo y olía horrible parecía fuera de. Ninguno de mi comida era comestible. Llamé para quejarme el dijo que lo que el director a llamarme una hora más tarde todavía no apareció, así que probé a llamar 8 veces más. Estaban ignorando mis llamadas. Ordered 2 chicken burger suppers and a beef burger supper. The chicken burger was under cooked, beef burger was overcooked and the chips also over cooked. Went in the bin. Would not recommend.

Lovely food delivered way earlier than anticipated, will use again

Ordered a cheese pizza at 10:03pm, it turns up at 11:35pm, barely warm, drenched in oil. Clearly flung on the hot plate for 30 minutes and delivered as the workers went home. 1hr 30mins for a cheese pizza ? really ? horrific.

I received the wrong order. I called and told them. They had said they would send out the correct order straight away. I never received it. Other than that it was all ok.

Food was delicious, would definitely order from here again!!

we orders pizza, pasta, starters and chips and it was all superb! under £30 to feed 6 hungry adults. all very satisfied with the food. would definitely recommend! easy 5 stars🌟

Ordered Pasta with meatballs, firstly ordered tangliatelle but got penne. Don't think Meatballs were fresh made more like processed meat nothing fresh about them at all. Also ordered Calamari, also think frozen processed stuff. Awful could broke teeth on them. Worst Italian meal I have ever had.... Won't be ordering again

The pizza arrived freezing cold, After being lied to twice when i called to see where the food was i was told the driver had left already, I then got a call from the driver saying that the street didn't come up on the satnav and the roads where closed off. the place is a 10 minute drive and from driving from that way no less than 2 hours before that there was no road closures. Staff couldn't care less and had no issues taking my money for their rubbish service!

pizza toppings and cheese where stuck to the top of the pizza box. chips where soggy .

My food was late,which I don't mind as it's a Saturday night and probably very busy but my pizza and chips are cold and feel like they have been sitting for ages. This pizza could've been really tasty but it's a lot to pay for cold soggy pizza and chips that have sat in their box for ages. I am a 2 min drive from here so I don't understand why they are cold.

the delivery was very fast any they did forget the juice which they came back with. I was not very happy with my pizza compared to my previous order. I was not cooked well and tasted cheap and processed.

I got a n all the meats, italian base pizza with black olives this afternoon. It was delicious, I would much prefer this to pizza hut or papa Johns or dominoes. Arrived promptly

Food was pretty yummy - however we thought we were ordering from a real italian restaurant but all of the food was cheaply made and was clearly just freezer food. My pasta meatballs was made with processed meatballs. It was delivered 30 mins early which we were pleased about but disappointed they forgot the dips that we had ordered.

Chicken wings were slimey, chicken on pizza was cubed & processed. Mushrooms were cold. Not a great taste off any of he food. Wouldn't order again.

A very disappointing experience. Ordered two pizzas, meateor and piccante. Pizza bases were barely cooked, tasteless and underseasoned. There was barely any sauce base on the piccante pizza and the meateor bbq sauce tasted weak and watery. Toppings also disappointed. Jalapeños with no spice, cheese with no flavour, and flavourless pepperoni with no slightly spicy kick to it as pepperoni should have. It is as if they have managed to remove all flavour from the ingredients. Having eaten pizza in Italy and Spain, these pizzas by comparison didn't live up to any standard. I wish I'd bought a supermarket pizza and cooked it myself instead - it would have tasted much nicer at a fraction of the cost. Also, when I phoned (several times) to complain about the quality of the food, nobody answered the phone on any occasion, so I now have two barely edible pizzas with no means of replacement or refund. Very disappointing experience, £20 wasted, will not be ordering again in future.

Food was delivered earlier than suggested and delivery person was very nice. The quality of food is relatively good, however it can be soaked in grease at times.. We often order from here however we are disappointed that chips were missing from our meal deal order and we were refused a refund. I'd expect better service as a regular and faithful customer but not this time. We paid for something we never received and admit this has never happened before. It is disappointing that we didn't even get refunded so for us we will not be ordering again and will take our custom elsewhere.

Arrived really quickly which was great - lovely pizza as well. Only negative was we were given the wrong juice but nothing major.

Complicated. Garlic bread was amazing. Spaghetti Bolognaise was spicy and my young daughter doesn't do spicy, wasn't expecting it. With help from just eat CS a replacement was sent, it was still on spicy side although not as much. But they did try their best to sort the matter and make it less spicy, that can't be faulted. I did try the pasta and I'm not much of a spice hand either although it was very tasty it did have a kick. Delivery was quick and friendly.

We ordered breaded mozzarella... we got deep fried hot, hard, cheese sticks straight out a frozen bag. Deffo not mozzarella. Both pasta's were just oily no creamy sauce as described. We have ordered a few times now, would deffo recommend the pizza's but everything else is just your luck I'd say!! We ordered for delivery at 19:45 order arrived at 20:15 so 30minutes after the requested time.

this was not acceptable as I had requested that the food be delivered at 7:15, was told it would come at 7:20 but arrived at 18:45! I like my food to come early but not when I request it to come a certain time! there was a reason I requested it then!

Pizza arrived cold. The box was thrust into my hand upside down and it was just stone cold. Awful pizza. I thought I would give something new a try but will not be using Dario's pizza again.

Dario's pizzas are thee best pizzas in the south side 😍 5* Italian sausage topping is so tasty. defo recommend! deliverys about an hour but food always arrives hot and fresh so can't complain.

Service and delivery was good but the food - pasta, fried mushrooms and bruschetta - wasn't that great.

Perfect pizza and was delivered on time - delivery guy was absolutely lovely. Dealing with Darios' pizza is a pleasure, doubt I will be ordering pizza from anywhere else in the South Side.

We have had food from here over the last few years and it's always really good whether it's pizza or pasta. I struggle to order anything other than Case Mia these days as it's amazing. Really friendly place and delivery is quick.

My food way delivered 35 minutes late. I called the restaurant and the woman who answered was quite rude to me. Finally my food arrived and my order was wrong. Extremely unhappy with the service in general.

Took over 2 hours for the order to come & when it did the food was absolutely vile.

It's doesn't really look like italian restaurant. I am Italian and if I order from an Italian restaurants I expect more similar an Italian food. But anyway not bad after all!

Tomatos for the Mozzarella starter described as infused with basil. Only basil was 2 leaves on top of the ball of Mozzarell. Jalapeno stuffed with cheese were a bit greasy. Sauce was good. Cheesy pasta was more pasta than cheesy. Not a lot of cheese sauce at all. Delivery time was really quick. Portion sizes good. All in all, was average. Ate the lot but wasnt blown away.

BBQ bacon angus burger was tasty, the bacon had no fat on it which was great and delivery was quick, all around superb service!

Ordered 2 pizzas. Selected (and paid for) extra toppings which was confirmed in order email. Pizzas arrived with none of the extras requested. Also overpriced. Better and cheaper pizza from my local chippie.

Food arrived quickly after ordering. Pizza was dry and tasteless. Didn't enjoy the sweet Mozarella Fritas either. Only positive was the Pasta. Dario's sauce was lovely!!!

Always delicious food with really fast delivery

Shockingly bad, without doubt the worst pizza I've ever tasted. Chips were inedible my lady friend actually spat hers out back on to the plate. Order was also wrong, still hungry, very disappointed.

My pizza was delicious the Italian sausage and bacon with fresh mozzarella is my fav. Pasta is also tasty too. Fast delivery. Delivery drivers a pleasant wee guy too. 👌🏼

Literally order from dario's all the time. I've tried just about everything. Pizzas, pastas, lasagne and burgers. Everything is always amazing. Best takeaway around I'd say. I'm in Pollok and they're shawlands but I still always order!

As per my usual order I ordered a caesar salad and a small sophia loren pizza. The caesar was ALL crotons, hidden under was a few large slices of onion,no lettuce,a slice of tomato and zero dressing! Its like whomever made it didnt know what was in a caesar salad and didn't care! I've been a loyal customer for many years but I'm not sure about that anymore

I've ordered a few times and has never been any problems with the food. Unfortunately on this occasion, the foccacia was overcooked. Breaded mushrooms were not great, bit burnt and dry and the salmon pasta had a problem. I would have phoned but there was a few things wrong with the whole order...

Quality pizza and wedges were perfect. Crispy on outside and soft in centre. Was delivered bang on time.

Pizza was nice enough; chips were pretty sad and soggy though, and the garlic bread was essentially just two pieces of bog-standard burnt toast. Not sure I would return unfortunately.
