Nice bar good atmosphere of a Tuesday night a sound young lad working working behind the bar cheaper pint in Galway then most bars

Super nice owner, nice staff, great live music. We felt very comfortable. There was also live sport, if you were interested, and the price-performance ratio was great!

Had a beautiful pint here before getting the train. Lovely barman. Doesn't get better than this.

A gem of a bar, superb staff, fantastic location, central without the fuss, if I was looking for a meet up public house next to the train and bus station then this has to be it.

They have great Guinness beer here, which came very good after the food. We took smoked plate and also fried salmon. It was really tasty and we had a great time. The prices are ok.

Entró en Darcys después de unos meses de encierro y en ese momento me sorprendió.El personal estaba en máscaras, lo cual era bueno y la ubicación de la mesa con mucho espacio era perfecta durante este tiempo.El menú era un poco limitado, pero tengo que decir que la comida que recibí fue de primera clase.Recomendaría a cualquiera que lo visite.

Me reuní con amigos para apoyar el programa Govt Eat out Scheme y seleccionamos Darcy's ya que había pasado un tiempo. La distribución de los asientos de la cabina es excelente y se ve muy bien. Nos sorprendió gratamente saber que esta noche fue el lanzamiento del nuevo menú de comida. Optamos por compartir una fuente de mariscos, lo más destacado de la comida, frescos, excelentes sabores y encantados, esta fue nuestra elección. Los platos principales y los postres eran igualmente buenos y el personal nos cuidó bien y nos pidió comentarios sobre el menú y nuestra experiencia.

I visited darcys on Sunday for lunch with friends The service was excellent I was in the door and seated in no time with lovely food I had the prawn linguine which was lovely I had the sticky toffee pudding after was excellent it was lovely and soft the sauce was amazing I’ll definitely be back thank you

Visited darcys with the family on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was quite busy but we were greeted and seated quickly. The kids ordered the fish which they loved and me and the wife had the slow cooked beef which was to die for. The overall quality of the food and service was excellent, we will definitely be back soon to try the cocktails!

Fuimos aquí de improviso en nuestro camino a un espectáculo en el Hydro y disfrutamos mucho de nuestro almuerzo. El camarero, que era muy amable, era extremadamente servicial y estaba feliz de sustituir una tostada GF por una de las opciones en el menú y había un ambiente encantador en el lugar. Definitivamente volveremos cuando estemos en Glasgow.

Had the fish and chips and they were vile. Disgusting soggy chips and terrible service. The restaurant is overpacked and way too noisy to have a good meal.

Location is great, nice atmosphere, ok service, average food. You won't be wowed by the food or service here but the location makes this a convenient spot to grab lunch while shopping.

When we were first served by another waiter, we were disappointed by the service. However the Manager Brian then got involved and changed our minds along with our new waiter Matthew. Matthew was extremely friendly, helpful and chatty. He took concern in making sure that we all had a great time.

Came in for a late dinner with the fiance and was extremely welcomed by the staff special shout out to Keiran with his amazing drinks and Thomas with his witty charm that made the night more lovely. Will definitely be back

We booked our Christmas night out kinda last minute. It was a great night ... the food was fab and the staff were great !! They even swapped us tables ...not an easy task when they’re busy, but nothing was a bother ! We will deffo go back.. thanks to Gav and the team .

My mother and I were with my nephew in for lunch. The service was excellent I noticed a crack on my glass and the girl replaced my glass and drink as well what service a credit to the restaurant. The food was freshly made . We had a 15 to 20 minute wait but didn’t mind as we knew it would be fresh. We certainly weren’t disappointed. This was my first time and it won’t be the last I’ll need to take the wife next time.

Not a great start when you arrive and they are unable to find your reservation and you have to show your booking confirmation and reminder received by email.

We dropped in for lunch and were seated straightaway.

Very busy with all the festive activities, however very efficiently accommodate a table for two. Lunch and service was both lovely and attended to with a really nice non intrusive service. Soft Drinks a little expensive otherwise.

6 off us arrived at 7pm we had booked a table and it was ready, the restaurant was not to busy,after 15 minutes we were asked if we wanted to order drinks,the drinks arrived,then asked if we would like to order our food,what can I say about my 2 pieces of fish it was 1 half filet of fish in two long pieces the chips were good,my Grandsons asked for chicken when it came it looked like chicken but I tasted it it tasted like Turkey there Dad tasted the chicken he also thought is was Turkey(there Dad was Chicken Farmer).Drinks we asked for another round and it took 12 minutes to arrive, my second white wine was ok but was much larger than my first large wine.

Looking for a Brunch, but not possible on a Sunday at 2pm (stops at 12 noon on weekends!) so had to select from the A la Carte.

Table of five. I remembered visiting it two years ago, and the food was much better. This time, it failed to deliver. My scampis were definitely reheated and overcooked and not home made freshly cooked. The rest of the food looked ok but very average for the price. Wont go again.

We booked The festive afternoon tea and choir event this week and we’re very disappointed. It was taking over an hour to get served our platter of food and we were told this was because one of us had order a GF menu. When the choir started due to noise in the bar area now in the square we couldn’t hear the music at all. The food was also not very tasty scones too hard and coffee Luke warm. When I got home I also had a reaction to something I eat and was ill for next few days. Not the festive treat I’d imagined for me and my friends.

Ate here after taking my granddaughter to George Square, the kid's menu looked OK for choice, as she only wanted the burger and fries that's what we ordered, the burger was a reheated awful lump it was cold and the bun was a bit stale also, I told her to leave the burger and eat her fries, my food was frozen scampi and chips, they were just ok, I had to order an extra portion of fries for my granddaughter, as she was still hungry, I was charged for the full 2 course menu price form the kids menu,plus the extra fries, wouldn't recommend this place to eat, as the kids food is not good.

We had such a lovely time in Darcy's Princes Square Glasgow yesterday. It was the switching on of the beautiful Christmas tree and we had booked lunch. The meal was lovely.. the manager very accommodating attentive... and Matthew, our waiter, was delightful. In fact the combination of all these made it a super afternoon for our family. Thank you! We will be back if course!

I was out for a day of shopping with my mum and we walked past and stopped to have a look at the menu. Before we even had the chance to ask if a table was available for two a very rude front of house male member of staff snapped at us that there were no available tables now or all day due to Christmas light switch on which I wasn’t even aware of. I have heard lots of great reviews about here and it’s a shame about the rude member of staff who made us feel so unwelcome and put us off completely. Maybe think about the way your members of staff treat potential customers and the way he makes them feel .

Had a fantastic night on Saturday celebrating my husband’s 60th Birthday with family and friends. We booked the private dining area for a buffet and drinks and everyone agreed what a good night it was. We were well looked after by Matthew who couldn’t do enough to help and who was very friendly to everyone! Thanks for a great night!

Darcy's is in the basement of Prince's Square. This was my first visit. Had lunch with couple of friends, one of whom was celebrating her birthday. We had the Prosecco sharer; the birthday girl didn't fancy the menu options - antipasti or seafood - so the kitchen let us swap that for Caesar salad, which was lovely, though a little more chicken would have been nice. Restaurant was busy but we were seated really quickly & wait staff were attentive. Have to say that Matthew took good really care of us; he brought our birthday girl some sticky toffee pudding. Have to visit again to try something else from the menu!

Was fine, food good quality, service average. Would have been good if waiting staff knew what the Sunday roast was (on a Sunday afternoon) and perhaps if menu just said " a yorkshire pudding" instead of " all the trimmings", and good if the drink coming with the children's meal did come, and good if we got the correct bill and not another table's.

Just visited Darcy's in princes square, we had a great time. the venue is located on the basement floor. I love the festival decor, very tasteful.

Visited on Wednesday this week. Welcomed and acknowledged on arrival and sat promptly by the host/manager he was very polite and helpful. Waitress was lovely and took our drinks quickly as we usually know what we are after. Was very busy at the time and the place was full, the bar man seemed to have a lot on his plate but had made our drinks and brought them out to us within the following 5 minutes and took our food order. Food arrived quickly and was excellent, food was well seasoned and greenery on the plate made you feel a bit better about the chips. I must say for how busy the restaurant was it didn’t seem there was enough staff on to enjoy the experience but they were very efficient and kept our time there amazing. We will be back! Next time for dinner and cocktails as they looked quite interesting! Thanks guys wonderful experience.

Visited here for the first time, friendly efficient service. Although it was busy a table was found as soon as one was available. Good range of meal choices on the menu. Lovely meal, I had chargrilled chicken and couscous salad which was delicious.

Just had a meal in Darcy's, which was very disappointing. Starter of mushrooms on a very small piece of bread,then waited 40 minutes for the main. Garlic chicken and mash. It was a joke, must have been one spoonful of potato. Had to have something to eat when we went home. I'm not a big eater, but the portion sizes need to be addressed. £45 for dinner, no alcohol as £8.50 for a glass of wine. Not value for money. Sorry will not be back!

I visited with my 6 year old daughter for lunch, who’s name is also Darcy. This was a treat for her as we never get time alone. My baby boy is disabled and she has coped remarkably well with everything and not having as much attention as usual and having her mum away in hospitals for prolonged periods. This was to treat her for dealing with so much and coping so well. The restaurant were aware of all this as it was on the booking that I just wanted a bit of a fuss made of her for being so brilliant.

Lovely night in Darcy's, great food and nice atmosphere. Thanks to Wallis our waitress too she was lovely and very attentive.

Have always enjoyed the food and service here , not on this occasion.Had to wait ages on our drinks and the main meal was tiny looked like a starter rather than a main meal not worth the 40 pounds we paid probably won’t be back

Not the best eating experience!! Chips were greasy tasted like cooked in dirty fat. Glass of picpoul de pinet £9.25 Struggled to get waiters attention. Everyone at our table were extremely disappointed with food! Overcharged by £19 ... luckily we noticed before paying. Princess square is a beautiful setting, terrible shame that food and staff let this place down.

My mum and myself treated my aunt to see Downton Abbey at the cinema and decided to go for an afternoon tea before hand and since i had been to Darcy's twice already wanted to give them a shout! How wrong was i!!!! We had the afternoon tea and when we had finished, asked if we could have a doggy bag, well they wrapped everything together, fish & cucumber sandwiches beside cream cakes. The package looked like a dogs dinner. We asked if they had any wee containers and all we got was an apology. Not worth the £78.00! I've had afternoon tea before and been offered a free glass of fizz nothing like this service not even a tea or coffee! Not worth a single penny and am afraid i shan't be back

We arrived around 4pm and were greeted by Gavin. We were immediately seated and ordered some cocktails which were amazing! Loved the look of the place and will definitely be back!

Private room booked for family gathering, buffet style food first class, only one comment not a complaint were made aware by staff that one dish contained nuts, this was fine as no one had a nut allergy, I feel that the dish should have been marked as it could easily have been moved from original position as the tray ext to it looked the same, but had different seasiong

We arrived at 12:15 and since we didn't have a reservation we were asked to free the table until 2pm. However it took us 45 minutes to be served. The garlic and rosemary chicken was poorly seasoned. The basil gnocchi was dull, no basil to be found, it was hard and tasted like nothing. The Ceaser salad was okay. We gave up having the desserts.

Four of us in Glasgow for the weekend. Popped into Prince’s Square for a meal. Starter with the salmon fish cake , soup was palatable. Main courses of tagliatelle, chicken, and burger were with the exception ofThe burger not good at all. Tiny piece of chicken, moist , not very warm and non existent vegetables. The tagliatelle was over cooked and soggy, not hot, sauce would’ve been better from a supermarket. Second round of drinks sat at the bar for almost ten minutes before the waiter collected them. Have had better food in my local pub. Avoid like the plague. There are plenty of decent eateries in Glasgow who actually care about the meals provided.

I visited Darcy’s in Princes Square for brunch ahead of a trip to the Everyman Cinema. We chose to eat there as there was a HUGE sign outside which stated any brunch dish and a coffee/ fruit juice for £10.95.

He visitado Darcy's varias veces y nunca me aburriré con la comida que se ofrece en este restaurante. Darcys tiene un ambiente relajado y es un excelente lugar para comer / beber en Princes Square.

Reservé esto para mi hija y mi novio como nunca lo habían estado antes y les encantó, comieron bistec en el menú de 3 platos y dijeron hermoso, planearon ir a otro lugar pero terminaron quedándose en Darcys mientras lo disfrutamos. tanto, definitivamente volverán.

La pasamos de maravilla en la sala privada. Todo fue increíble desde la habitación, hasta la comida, hasta el personal. Definitivamente lo recomendaría. Mención especial a Gavin y Atanas que nos ayudaron con todo.

No puedo comentar sobre la comida o las bebidas ya que, una vez que se nos mostró a nuestra mesa, ¡fuimos ignorados hasta que finalmente nos levantamos y nos fuimos! No creo que ningún personal haya notado que nos íbamos. . .

Hecho el buffet de la habitación privada para mi 50 cumpleaños, la comida y el servicio fue excelente y una mención especial a Atanas por mantenerse al día con todas las bebidas para todos.

Received the Sunday Roast and was of poor quality...more like food you would receive on an aeroplane. Meat was thickly sliced and tasteless.The gravy was poor and the roast potatoes were small and overcooked.There is no way a proper qualified chef would serve this up as freshly made Sunday Roast. Darcys was previously really good but on recent visits will not be back.

Went for a meal with friend in Glasgow, served by an unfriendly waiter Kerry. Waited 35 minutes before we got served and once we went to pay for the meal she charged our meals each individually instead of the 2 course which was from the same menu! This was our first time coming in and will be the last time! Won't be recommending any of my friends and family in the future!
