Got hair from fish and chips, and when i call them to inform he was arrogantly rude and said "you put it" .. 1st time in my life a restaurant treat their customer like that ... don't even go near to there shope... 😆

If they got real with delivery times it would be better

Food cold, delivery 45 mins later than “expected” had to call up to find out where it was. Already paid 3.90 delivery, driver said I needed to pay extra £5 l, has no cash so shop was ringing me to pay over phone. 8.90 delivery charge for 10 min drive and cold food. Not good enough.

Severely disappointed with delivery time food was cold. Some sort of refund should be in order

Delivery Driver was rude and tried to demand £5 extra ontop of my delivery charge in cash. I had ordered previously one delivery was just two days prior and never been told I needed to pay extra for my delivery let alone in cash. I do not appreciate anyone coming to my door and demanding money from me especially when I have already paid via Just Eat.

Order arrived late and freezing cold. I’ve never had a bad experience from Dante’s before but this was very disappointing.

We ordered three garlic sauces only received one

I order Dante’s at least a couple times a month and is normally of high quality. But my food tonight was absolutely appalling. Pizza was crushed and the onion rings were soggy, cold and stuck together. My son’s chicken nuggets and chips were the same. My can of juice was warmer than the whole meal.

Food was cold. Items were missing. Staff were rude when I asked for items to be delivered and accused me of refusing items when that conversation had never happened!! Advised delivery driver would call back with items, never happened and now they're not answering my calls.

Mixed kebab was disgusting. Couldn't eat it as it tasted like burnt salt.

The food wasn’t very enjoyable as the curry was extremely salty the sausage tasted like fish and the chips were half soggy half undercooked. The chicken nuggets and garlic bread with cheese was perfect.

Food arrived 50 minutes late which we could deal with but it was stone cold. Tasted ok but had to put it in the microwave first.

Diet Coke was missing with order which was paid for, not as hot as it could have been but still tasted nice.

Ordered my mother a fish supper and it was stone cold. Not acceptable at all. Going to take this further because every time we get something from here there is an issue with it and I can bet that no one else receives the poor quality like we do. Poor service!

Food arrived cold. Got a phone call I had to pay more money for delivery , didn’t have anything on me. Chips were cold. Kebab was cold. Best thing was the irn bru which was warmer than the food. Chucked the food in the bin. Not happy at all.

Stopped using Dante’s about a year ago as every time we ordered they got the order wrong and it took ages to bring the right one, decided to give them another shot tonight and surprise surprise delivered the wrong order and had to wait a further 40 mins to get the right one. Food is great quality if they could just deliver right first time!!

All food was cold when received. Under temperature when received. Called to make a complaint to be told by the manager that he doesn’t care as he is busy. I have made a complaint to to the Environmental Health Office regarding the temperature of the food.

Food isn’t as good as what it used to be, donner meat all slimy and greasy and the chicken pakora was more batter than chicken

Donner was rubbery. Very greasy and pizza dough was soggy. Arrived for our collection and they couldn’t find it. Told us to come back and when we did they didn’t even have the burger on yet so had to wait longer. Was very expensive compared to other places and the quality wasn’t as good. Used to go regularly but very disappointed with this order.

Worst kebab ever had out of there , it usually is ok but will never be back now , couldn't eat the meat and the grease was horrendous.

7 quid for a bit of dry fish. No chips. Dry hard battered sausage like it had been sitting in the hot bin for hours. Dumfries takeaways are thee worst.

Got an update to say order was out for delivery. 25 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. Only live 1 mile away. Called Dantes and was told system was ahead of them but order was now out for delivery. Eventually arrived over 25 minutes later. Driver didn't even have the heat bag zipped over in his car. The cardboard box was soggy and most of the food was cold. Extremely disappointing considering the price of delivery.

This was my favorite takeaway in the town but the recent price increases seem a little too over enthusiastic. I can get a sit down meal now for the same price. Sorry to say I'll be finding a new face.

Food was ready 15mins before requested collection time chips were like rocks and everything stone cold. Lacked flavour on everything it used to be nice here woyod be our place to go when here on holiday totally gone down hill so will find somewhere different in future

I orderes a stake pie and resived a chicken pie

Got a notification to say my food was on its way about 20 mins before it got marked as delivered. Phoned 5 mins after my food was marked as delivered to hear they still had it at the restaurant and they had no driver yet, was told hopefully they will have someone to deliver it soon. Took another 20 minutes for it to actually arrive with no apologies for it being late. Food was lukewarm, fish and chips especially were tough as they had been sitting for so long. Disappointing.

Great food, but experiencing muddle orders recently. I got curry sauce instead of gravy and no garlic sauce. I wouldn't ring up just because of sauces though, but worth mentioning as well.

Had deal with 12” pizza, 2 x chips, chicken wrap and garlic sauce split between 3 of us. All lovely. Wrap particularly good. Deal came with cans of juice too. Great value. Thanks :)

Zero stars if possible, tried to say they called to tell me it was going to be extra delivery, said my delivery left 2 hours later, over 2 hours later still no delivery. Called and they said they tried to call me to tell me delivery would be £7 so they didn’t make the order!!! Surely when you put your address into just eat it should tell you how much delivery is

Ordered loads of time from here never had a problem with delivery or food, food is always spot on, prices good and staff are brilliant definitely our go to for takeaway 👌😁

Food arrived about half an hour early but no chips with the meal deal and my pizza was undercooked. Had to put it in the oven for an extra 10 mins. This isn't the first time I've had pizza from here that hasn't been cooked properly. Used to be my favourite take away but I won't be going back!

Go in here on occasional Saturday night. The lads are brilliant. I always have a Sheash wrap,and a garlic bread. The food is plenty,and cooked just the way you want it. Very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend Dante's to friends and family.👌

I got some food delivery but the restaurant called me 1 hour later telling me I had to pay an extra 5 pound so they would deliver it. I didn’t have 5 pound on me so they staid with the food and money.

Great service great food great delivery wee bit expensive for delivery as I live outside the town so have to pay £3.90 standard delivery then an extra £5 on top

Can't really call it a delivery when you have to drive to the shop with cold food, wait on your order to be cooked again and the owner isn't pleasant

Ordered BBQ Pizza, no bbq sauce tomato pizza sauce only and no pineapple as requested.

Wrap was nice , I usually get the chips with curry and it’s really good but sauce has changed for some reason was horrible sweet with little burnt black bits .binned the whole thing , shame as used to be my favourite

Not arrived yet and past the delivery time slot. Can of juice warm from being in the bag with the food and no coleslaw with chicken Parmesan as stated it was included.

Ordered a chicken special kebab, but it came with only chicken no donner meat! Food was lovely though just annoying not getting what I paid for

Got two large kebabs from this place today, first of the day as they had to heat up the meat. Told to come back in 15 mins, got back got our food ate a small amount and it was disgusting! sauce was stinking aswell! watching the guy fill the garlic mayo tubs aswell dropping lids on the floor then picking them up and reusing them!! place is black and defo wont be returning here.

Food was 45 minutes late and stone cold , delivery driver was rude on delivery asking for more money even after delivery had been paid on line ,phoned restaurant and they were completely unprofessional, had been a regaulr customer before hand but won't be back

Love the food pity was so late

Orders mg food at 8.03 pm now 10.31 and still haven’t received my food but app says it has been delivered but when phoned the restaurant it is still their. I have had to order something else for another place. Not happy with the service

I ordered food for my family as I wasn't home. It was expected before 4.55 and arrived around 5.30. It was also cold. I have ordered in the past and not had a problem. I don't like complaining.

We live out of town does cost a bit more for delivery but worth it food is really good and great portions only one tiny thing could keep the juice out from the hot things
