Daniele Sicillian Restaurant in Waverley

Lucky I booked as the restaurant was full by 1pm. Our waitress was delightful and the food was delicious, hot, speedy and altogether beyond expectations. It tasted fresh and authentic with good sized portions. We had a mix of set meals and a la carte but the bill was worked out quickly and correctly and no presumption of service added which made me inclined to add more than usual as a tip. Genuine Italian family restaurant, we will be back!

A thoroughly splendid evening finishing off Valentines Day. A good choice of starters, main course and deserts. The food was cooked to perfection. Thank you to the busy chefs. The waiting staff also very busy but always polite, pleasant and willing to see to everyone’s need.

Daniele Sicilian Restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The moment you step inside, you'll be blown away by the incredible food they serve. Called in for the first time this evening in the hope they could fit us in! They did, but we were lucky as it soon filled up. Both our main courses were delicious but the outstanding dish of the day for me was the Panna Cotta with raspberry sauce…it was divine! Will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

We’ve enjoyed a number of delicious meals at Danielle Sicilian over time. Friendly and hard working staff, stunning location in a converted barn, beautiful tasteful decor, super clean, plenty of free parking. The delicious Italian/Sicilian meals are exquisite. So different to the norm. My partner is enjoying working his way through the well crafted menu and the Specials Board. He said he loves it all, a particular favourite is Spaghetti Isola Bella. The vegetarian options are yummy - I particularly enjoy the Tartufo pizza, not having experienced a white based pizza anywhere else. It surprised me that I prefer this to a tomato based pizza, although I’ve had yummy tomato based pizzas here too. The puddings aren’t marked which are Veggy but the staff will always advise. Particularly fond of their delicious Italian Gelato, never had better. My partner loves the Panna Cotta. Make a good cocktail 🍹 almost too good 😀very tempting…..usually do 😁🍹 Lovely charming court yard style outside area to enjoy in the warmer months, with a covered veranda area also. The lunch time set menus are great value too. Simply scrumptious, good quantity and quality, delightful.

What a fantastic finish to 2023 and start to 2024. The restaurant was packed, the waiting staff never stood still and remained pleasant and attentive all the time. The food was delicious and well presented. Fireworks at midnight, who could ask for anything more. Thanks to all at Daniele’s.

Danielle's is a stunning restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious, easily the best in the area with a varied menu very reasonably priced especially considering the clear love, attention and high quality ingredients used with preparingthe food. The dining experience is second to none, with a beautifully lit, old style charm and warmth to the restaurant. The staff are so nice, welcoming, and work with impeccable good natured service. We love coming here and already looking forward to our next visit.

I was invited by my friends, the Rock and Roll band, the well-known TR5's to celebrate a fantastic year of gigs and engagements, and so say a fond, if sad, farewell to two of the band members who are moving on to pastures new. The restaurant was lovely, with excellent meals and first class service. I would like personally to thank Ieva who. looked after us with warmth and professionalism. What a delightful restaurant with authentic Italian food and charm. Lovely barn-style venue with lots of atmosphere. Was a Christmas family get-together and the staff made it a most memorable experience with old-style service, friendly and very professional. We had the Lunchtime menu which is well-priced and the food delicious. Good choice of Italian wines too. With so many fake Italian restaurants on the high street this establishment stands out as being in a totally different league. Wasn't an issue on this occasion but just the one toilet could be prove to be a problem at very busy times.

My first time here but it was absolutely amazing. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The waitress looking after me was happy and chatty and made sure I had everything I needed and gave some good menu recommendations. I had the beef ragu arancini which was a very good portion size and tasted amazing. I ordered from the specials menu and chose the ragu di maialino rigatoni pork ragu with truffle and wild mushroom sauce. I can honestly say I have not had Sicilian food this good since my grandparents cooked for me a very long time ago. I had the tiramisu for desert which was also a very good portion size and was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. I will be going back.

So disappointing! Don’t expect to feel really special here. And the food is really not worth it. We eat at a lot of places in London and Devon so we know good food and good flavours and this is not it. But Daniele’s probably don’t care about this because they’re just really busy trying to squeeze in as many people through the door as they can. And if you need the loo - too bad! There’s only 1 in the whole place. So you better not be desperate! I took my parents for my Mum’s birthday. They were hugely excited. My dad is 80 and my mum is 76. This restaurant urgently need to sort out their ‘welcome’ situation Our table wasn’t ready and instead of having a nice place to wait and being offered a drink there was NOWHERE to stand without being in the way. It’s a small place and we were directed to move all the time - for 20 minutes hanging around with our winter coats on. A very grumpy waitress who told us to move said ‘that she did not make the reservations. No apology offered when we did finally get our table. No ‘let’s get you some drinks now’. Apparently they were really busy because someone had fainted. We didn’t see any evidence of that, which was strange because we had been watching all the proceedings whilst standing up for 20 minutes. A really bad start. The wine was not in stock. We had to chase up our drinks. My husbands IPA was ice cold and he had to put it on a radiator to warm up! The starters were lovely. My mum’s salmon pasta was really quite horrible, mushy and overwhelming in volume. This was removed from the bill. My cod wrapped in panchetta was underwhelming in flavour and dry. I asked for more sauce which I had to chase up. The men were really happy with steaks. But as my Dad says ‘that’s what I always order - it’s difficult for them to get that wrong!’. A wise man. The sorbet and ice cream were good. Don’t waste your hard earned money here. There are far better places locally where proper thought and care has been put into the whole dining experience.

A party of ten friends. Greeted warmly with prior knowledge of 12.5% service charge and that we had two hours, as the table was booked again at 8 pm Service was fantastic, food was great , and the atmosphere was vibrant with a full house by 6.30pm. Everyone in our group, had two courses and some had a dessert, wine and beers, came in at £55 per head, including service charge. This is my third or fourth visit, and I will have to come more frequently. Highly recommended.

A lovely evening from start to finish. The team greeted us at the door and assisted my mother who walks with a crutch to our table. We ate a selection of starters and main courses. All of which were presented very well and tasted even better. The wines were of a good quality, not the cheap rubbish found out some other local restaurants. Considering all of the above, I would highly recommend to service the food and we had a great evening. We will be returning at some point in the near future.

This was the best meal I’ve eaten out this year. Too often I’m left disappointed with food - thinking I could have made better food but NOT this time. Silky Aubergine, just the right amount of chilli in my spaghetti and a lovely Tiramisu. I’ve never been to Farnham before but I’d return to eat here.

Great food, even better service and a lovely location. This was our first visit but we’ll definitely be back as it was really good and, in comparison with other restaurants, wasn’t too expensive. There were five of us, four meat eaters and one vegan and they really couldn’t have been more helpful. We were served by four different servers and they were all friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommended.

Simply stunning, authentic Italian food which makes a very pleasant change from the sea of mediocrity at many other Italian restaurants locally. We were in Farnham for a weekend & decided to research restaurants in that area. This came up & the pictures made me fall in love with it, so booked a table straight away. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very cute, with low lighting that makes it feel intermate, which is what we wanted. We had a main (different) & dessert (same) each. The food looked & tasted amazing, it was cooked to perfection & filled us up. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. A stunning restaurant, would definitely recommend.

Visited this gorgeous restaurant last night. The food was excellent, and the service was superb. I had the Spaghetti with Clams, and I loved it. The Staff are first class, and the ambience is great. What can I say? Would definitely come back to this restaurant the next time we visit our friend in Surrey.

17 of us met on a Sunday for a 3 course lunch held in the private dining room. We pre-ordered having selected from the Sunday Menu, the Specials Menu and the A La Carte Menu. The restaurant was all prepared for our arrival and the service was discreet, helpful and courteous. The food and wine were excellent and overall great value. A good time was had by all . Highly recommended. We will be back!!

We came here for our 1 year anniversary meal last night and were very impressed. The food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the sardines for starter. We have lived near by for 6 and a half years and I can’t believe we have never been before. We will definitely be back! Staff were also very attentive and friendly.

My wife and I booked a Sunday lunchtime meal at the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Good job we did book ahead of time because the restaurant was very busy with most tables inside and outside being occupied. A sure sign of how popular the restaurant is. We had the option of sitting indoors or outside under the covered veranda. We chose the latter as it was a sunny day. This outside area had partial wall surrounds and thick timber roof, so there were no draughts blowing through the area. The staff there were excellent, and we were not rushed or pressurised to order, thus we were able to browse the menu at leisure. Being on the late sitting, unfortunately, a few options on the menu had sold out. None the less we opted for the reduced Sunday menu starting with Parmigiana and Fritto Misto. Both were delicious, although personally I think the Parmigiana was the better of the two choices. For the main course, I went for the belly of pork, and my wife went for the stuffed chicken breast. Both came with seasonal vegetables and potatoes. Both meals were well cooked, tasty, and great value, even if the meat portions were on the generous size. I overheard one of the ladies on the next table saying she could have done with a half portion, but it was so tasty that she didn't want to waste it. This is definitely a place to return to in the future.

Best southern Italian Mediterranean three course lunch we have had in years. Food and service outstanding on a busy service . Jack in the kitchen was superb, could not fault anything exceptional cooking. Prices are extremely good value. Will definitely be back again and again , many thanks.
