I don't leave reviews, but I have to say that was one of the best meals we've had for a long time, arrived hot, fresh and the food was outstanding, the lamb in yogurt sauce was falling apart, the rice lovely, starter was excellent, much better quality and amount of food than I expected, they also added in some baclava with a lovely note on top. full marks.

Fantastic little restaurant serving authentic Lebanese dishes. As a vegan couple we had plenty to choose from, the restaurant staff were so accommodating and were happy to adapt fresh salads to avoid onions! Really lovely place, highly recommended.

Delicious food and lovely friendly delivery driver

My order never came. The drivers couldn't find my house despite the fact I gave the correct address and included a description of my house. They just drove round and round until the company cancelled my order. It was doubly vexing as I need to take medication 30min-1hour before eating.

Visited Damas this evening and the service is very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was very relaxed and the food is very authentic Lebanese cooked fresh tastes fresh and full of flavour I would recommend Damas Try it out

All was good but the restaurant did not send the Nutella missu. Instead, they gave us a chocolate mousse. It is a good alternative, but we would like to get what has been ordered. Thanks :)

I expected the pastry to be filo but very much tasted like pizza dough. Bit heavy. But the hummus was great.

I love this place. We ordered falafel and hummus beiruty to start, and they were both delicious. Quite large portions, and lots of flatbread. We both ordered the lamb kabbsa, which was amazing. The lamb was so tender. The service is great (and so are the prices) and you just feel very welcome as soon as you walk in. They also allow you to bring your own wine. I wish I could go more often, but I don't live in Liverpool, unfortunately! Highly recommended.

Top quality food, top quality service. Such a shame we’re only in Liverpool for a short time otherwise this would so be our new local fave! We had Beiruty Hummus and Falafels followed by Shish Taouk and Kabsah. Authentic taste just how we enjoy it when we’re travelling in the Middle East!

Another weekly visit to our favourite restaurant in Liverpool. The food is freshly cooked, salad is crisp and cool, while the Lebanese menu is a delight, full of tasteful dishes served as a work of art. The prices are very reasonable and great value for money. Service is superb and we have never had a disappointing meal. Give this place a visit and you’ll be returning again and again.

Most of the food went to the dogs. The meat wasn’t just fatty, some of it was whole chunks of fat. The veg was so over cooked it was unidentifiable and the potatoes were greasy and tasteless. This was meant to be a “special” too. The rice was nice.

Unquestionably the best Lebanese restaurant in Liverpool! I’ve been a customer for a long time and tried an extensive range of dishes from the menu - I cannot fault a single one! Everything from pastries to main course dishes to desserts and even to juices has been astounding! It’s hard to pick my favourite items, but I would recommend the Chicken Kabbsa, the Harissa, the Manakeesh Zaatar and the Lemonana. Everything is made in store using fresh, high quality ingredients. When I order from here, it makes me feel like I am visiting Lebanon without even leaving the country. I cannot recommend Damas enough!

Food took over an hour and a half, and then when it arrived some of it was missing. Could not deliver the food so he offered a refund for the food that was missing, was not offered anything for the inconvenience. Wont eat there again

My friends and I called up Damas and the man on the other end said ‘it could be a couple of hours it depends when the Just Eat driver comes’. The time spent waiting for the driver meant the food was cold and my appetite had gone from his rude tone. I said over and over to the man on the phone, I have a train to catch so how long will the food be, it took over 1 hour which meant I had to leave for my train and couldn’t eat. My delivery driver struggled to reach my address so i communicated on several occasions the location of my address. I asked him what car he was in and he said ‘it doesn't matter, I know where you are’ before hanging up the phone. Five minutes later, I received a call to which he was upset, not understanding my whereabouts. I repeated the same address and tried to help with directions. I aasked which car he was in, to which he said he is not in a car but on a bicycle. Had I known he was on a bicycle I could have looked out for him. What's more, Damas also complained about the Uber drivers and the late arrivals of the drivers saying they don’t want the drivers to affect their reputation. The uber driver was being argumentative with me on the phone, challenging that I had given him the wrong address whilst raising his voice. I was nervous upon his arrival and when he finally arrived on his bike, he tried to argue with me on how I had given him the wrong address and I had to coolly explain what street it stated and even if someone was wrong, you don’t start arguing and being extremely unprofessional! Even though I was scared from his angry demeanour, I thanked him but was quite shaken from this. I have not experienced this before and it makes me doubt Just Eat and your service with delivery drivers and the driver himself. After this disgusting experience, I would like a deeper investigation into this and a full refund.

everything was alright except the Pistachio Baklava. there were only small 3 pieces .should be at least 5,6 regarding the price. overall very good food, highly recommended.

Best arabic food in the UK. I've tried a large number of restaurants in most cities in my bid to find authentic home-made quality Arabic food. Owner and chef is a British/Arabic gentelman who cooks authentic fresh food that you can truly only find in Arabic homes. Restaurant is beautiful and spotless. Home delivery is always consistent with its quality and ingredients..

Damas is serious under rated! The food is incredible, it’s generously portioned. The atmosphere is lovely too and service was great. I would highly recommend. The variety of vegan food was also really surprising!

Delicious, we decided to order something a bit different to the usual pizza or Chinese - so glad we did, chicken shawarma was gorgeous and the humous was to die for!! Deffo order again!!

This is our favourite restaurant for a meal but we decided to try a ‘takeaway service’ during lockdown. Social distancing is observed and I ordered our favourite meal. Wow, we weren’t disappointed. Exceptional large portions with the same quality. The meal was tasty and really enjoyable. We were delighted.

We have visited this restaurant twice recently and on both occasions have had great service from the staff waiting on, average food and a quite negative experience from the chef / owner.

Tropecé con esto mientras buscaba un almuerzo no caro y comí muy bien, lo cual fue increíblemente razonable. Relajado y amigable con una gran variedad de alimentos libaneses, principalmente tipos de pinchos, panes planos y hummus. Amable, relajante y sin prisas le dio casi una sensación de vacaciones. La comida estaba deliciosa. No sirve alcohol tan compensado con una deliciosa limonada de menta. Definitivamente volveremos a probar más del menú.

Decidí probar este restaurante libanés ubicado en la calle Renshaw en el centro de Liverpool.La primera impresión fue que se veía atractivo por fuera, el interior también era muy impresionante y auténtico. El lugar era muy espacioso con muchas mesas, estaba extremadamente limpio y los inodoros en la planta baja estaban impecables.Pedimos algunos aperitivos, entrantes y platos principales, aunque sin criticar el servicio, las instalaciones o la apariencia de este restaurante, no me sentí abrumado por la calidad y la presentación de la comida.Habiendo estado tan acostumbrado a la comida libanesa a lo largo de los años, especialmente en el norte de Londres, tiende a familiarizarse y saborear productos de alta gama superiores y la atención al detalle habitual cuando presenta su comida, lamentablemente este restaurante careció de esto.Volvería aquí de nuevo, probablemente porque es un restaurante libanés limpio y auténtico, a un precio razonable en general, es simplemente su restaurante promedio en el corazón del centro de Liverpool que sirve cocina libanesa.

Been here many times, we came with family and had a relaxing evening with one or two bottles of wine. The Food was lovely and fantastic value for money. If you haven't been here yet you should definitely give it a try.

Visited on a Monday night with my family and had the veg mezza which was really tasty and a generous size. There are great vegetarian, vegan and meat options here so definitely something for everyone.

Damas sirve una amplia variedad de comida del medio oriente recién hecha. Hay algo para todos, pero me gusta especialmente el Makloubeh. El servicio es amable y eficiente y los precios son muy razonables. Puedes traer tu propio vino, pero también recomiendo la limonada de menta, los batidos y la selección de tés.

He comido en este restaurante muchas veces y la comida me pareció muy buena, el servicio es muy agradable y, por cierto, no hay nada mejor. La comida es muy buena, y recomendaría a los lugareños, visitantes, estudiantes y familias a comer aquí. Está convenientemente ubicado entre la iglesia de la calle Bold y el hotel Adelphi. Puede parecer tranquilo, pero se encontrará a medida que su reputación crezca.

Visited here for a pre-theatre meal early evening. The place was absolutely freezing, even the waitress had a coat and hat on. Ordered the chicken livers as a starter, but whilst they were cooked OK, the flavour was overpowered by a sweetish vinaigrette. Not what I was expecting. I ordered chicken shwarma as a main with a side fattoush salad. The chicken was reasonable, although a little dry. The fattoush however was disgusting. The same basic salad as used to garnish the chicken dish, but with The addition of some fried pieces of pita bread sprinkled on top. What really killed it was another dose of the same overpowering dressing used for the chicken livers which made it inedible. I did make a complaint about it but no offer to remove it from the bill. I think I can safely say that this was the worst Middle Eastern meal I’ve eaten. Avoid.

Visited on a Saturday night and ordered the mixed platter as we could sample a bit if everything, Unfortunately they had sold out but offered us the option of the chefs making something similar, I thought this was a very nice touch, still offering us something similar, tying to accommodate us. Finished the meal off with a Lebanese coffee, all reasonably priced. Would visit again.

Visited with a friend after a shopping trip. Enjoyed several meze plates which were freshly prepared, tasty and subtly spiced. Very reasonable prices and I believe that you can bring your own alcohol (we didn't).

Really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. Mezes were big and the humus was excellent. Lamb chops were delicious. All the food was very fresh and it is BYOB. Friendly service.

Un grupo de cuatro nos topamos en Damas relativamente tarde después de un día de viaje y tratando de encontrar un lugar todavía sirve comida. Estábamos un poco preocupados de encontrar casi vacío, pero la comida fue más que compensado por el ambiente vacío (estoy seguro es mucho más animada en diferentes horarios y días). Compartimos una fuente de entradas diferentes, además de algunos favoritos como extra y halloumi baba ganoush. Todos nos fuimos contentos y completa.

Comimos aquí en el fin de semana. La comida era encantador, aunque estábamos un poco sorprendidos, los aperitivos y los platos principales todos llegamos al mismo tiempo, DIGO TODOS llegamos no tuvimos uno de los platos principales y otra llegamos como entrante de la versión. Se modificó la ley en consecuencia cuando señaló. Los postres muy buenos, no excesivamente dulce que nos gustó. Buena selección de tés. Te permite traer tu pripia bedida alcohólica alcohol que era bueno, práctico Sainsbury local en la esquina. A pesar de la confusión que sin duda lo recomendaría.

Pequeño gran lugar escondido en Renshaw Street pero bien vale la pena buscar. Es traer sus propias bebidas alcohólicas con botellas de £1. 50 por persona, pero eso no es nada comparado con lo que sería su alcohol bill en otro restaurante. Comida libanesa de algunos de los mejores que he probado, gran baba ganoush y moussaka en la fuente para compartir 2. El servicio era amable y servicial. El único inconveniente fue que no pudimos probar el baklava porque no quedaba ninguna! Sin duda, volveré a probarlo. También, el valor excelente para el dinero, menos de £30 para 2 personas.

Tuvimos una comida fabulosa en sábado, antes del teatro. Éramos un grupo de 4 y desde el momento en que entramos por la puerta de la atmósfera y el personal era muy acogedor. La comida era increíble! La Baba ganoushe era para morirse! ! Sin duda volveremos!
