Beautiful bar with a gorgeous view over the bay and a small but delicious food selection.

Very special place because of its location and the food (the house steak) is very good. Very correct quality-price. They serve you the food but you have to order at the bar and pick up the drinks there, something confusing and it is not written anywhere I think and although they have staff at the tables they do not seem very busy, at least at times when there was not much. people. I don't know if there is an elevator to go up to the roof for people with mobility problems. And the biggest shame is that instead of natural plants in the decoration they have artificial ones!!

This is a lovely restaurant that we went to recently on holiday. The entrance is on a little side passageway that could be missed, then a stairway or lift takes you to the top floor for the restaurant. Beautifully decorated, we were half that there were some free tables on the balcony that overlooks the sea - great views. (The restaurant does not take reservations). The menu is very reasonable with a good variety of meals for 12.99. the chicken burger, beef burger and sea bass were all very nice. Unfortunately there is not a children's menu which would put me off going again, meant I had to share with my youngest son and only got half a meal!! It would be so easy to serve half portions for the children. The cocktails are delicious!

This is without doubt my favourite bar for a drink and lunch on a sunny afternoon. Nothing beats it. We spent the afternoon here and many gins and a few Aspel ciders. We sat in the open air section overlooking the bay. What a view. So many gins can't possibly remember what they were all called but all looked amazing. We had a lunch, between four of us we had, steak and fries, sea bass with new potatoes, and a couple of burgers with fries. Everything was perfect, the steak was rare, juicy and delicious and the fries were well cooked all for £11.99. sea bass was good , burgers were great all meals were £11.99. the gin ranged in price from £8 - £16 but they gins upto £76 for a double. Amazing place. Service is great, staff are great food and drink is great. A perfect afternoon.

We went as a party of five to get lunch and some drinks. The place had a great view sure it was a fair day. Decoration is really cool, especially the ceilings. Seating is nice but the terrace gets crowded pretty quickly. Food is good, although portions are small for one person. We would definitely visit again, but only for drinks.

Relatively small menu, but there is something for every taste. The drinks menu, however, is spectacular with hundreds of gins, as well as many cocktails and other spirits. The restaurant can only be reached via a narrow corridor between the houses and stairs/elevator. Once at the top, guests are greeted by a Caribbean ambience with a magnificent view of the sea. Absolutely fair prices, very friendly service. Orders must be placed and paid for at the bar. Reservations are not possible.

Food is served in a basic 'trendy' manner without salad or vegetables. The bar/restaurant has a glam decor and does have decent sea & coastal views. The drinks are pricey as is the food.

The celebrity prints, the real log fire, opulent decor, sunset view, impressed! Love the fish & steak.

Firstly lipstick on the glass for my wife's wine. Secondly the replacement wine was warm. The third wine is given in a gin glass.

I chose to celebrate my birthday there and I even more in love with this place than before. An excellent music , food and people who serve there... ❤They made my day 🙂

Was treated to a meal here by my partner for my birthday, the place is stunning and staff are very friendly, sadly let down by the quality of food, we had the Sunday roast block to share, everything was either over or under cooked, we asked for the meat medium rare and it was nothing of the sort, all the meat had the same taste as if it had been quickly warmed up on a bbq. Shocking and dissapointed. I had a good mind to complain send food back and walk out but it wasn't me that was paying so I honoured my partners wishes to not speak up. If you are coming here for cocktails only you'll have a nice time. But if your are looking for Sunday lunch the Toby carvery is 10 mins up the road.

Great find, lunchtime deals are great value. I'm planning on working my way through menu. Really love the decor, atmosphere, great staff. Going down the mumbles for a weekend, so plan on trying their gins.

I did not realise this was a place owned by barkers tea room, which explains a lot! The aesthetic and design of the restaurant is simply wonderful and fairly reasonable in price. £11.99 for steak , a nice cut of steak, is rare if not impossible to find. It’s one of our quick and easy choices if we’re out shopping in Swansea!

Hidden gem. Perfect place to have some lunch on a summer afternoon overlooking Swansea bay. Lovely food and decent prices.

This used to be a go to for us but the cocktails have gone down hill since we last visited. The mojito treated like alcoholic lime cordial, the black Russian tastes like stale coke and the orange cocktail, whatever it was called, just tastes of alcoholic orange squash. The staff were OK but not the usual banter and fun from previous visits. The atmosphere however, was great! Lots of people, all happy to chat and have a laugh and no sign of trouble

Food is outstanding, drinks a little bit dear

The Sunday Roast is not to be missed. One of the nicest roasts we've had in a while. Service was second to none. Our waitress couldn't have done more. Cocktails were amazing too. If in the Mumbles, this place is a must.

Amazing place in Mumbles, our favourite go to for a drink. Incredible range of drinks (gin) available and other drinks. Had food a few times and was ok but the atmosphere and ambiance is why you'd go here - beautiful!

Arrived 24/5 for a gin and tonic with my partner who had just played a tennis match. We were refused entry on our way into the lift because he was wearing slazenger tennis pants. No mention of dress code on website. We left feeling shocked and let down👎

Absolutely my top 5 places to visit!! Drinks are stunning and the food being delicious is also very affordable in my eyes for the views you get along with it.

Love coming here, the eggs benedict deluxe is to die for. Quirky atmosphere with a hint of a smokey fireplace, great food, great view and of course a great service overall. Thanks again David

Booked for my birthday April 21st by my partner were told to sit and wait for our table looked at menu and decided on steak so sat at our table and was told only roast dinner was served there what we wanted was were we first sat and order by tge bar. Fine we sat down and went to bar and was told the kitchen was closed till after 5pm we were disgusted as was not told about this by the waitresse will never go there again a very disappointed birthday for me!!

Fantastic venue in Mumbles. I am Australian and visiting family regularly in this part of the world it, it has put a smile on my face having a venue of this caliber! The steak and chip deal is a cracker and I can’t wait to return. Variations of the Negroni’s and old fashioned’s were great.

1st visit and won't be my last. Lovely location and great atmosphere. Background music was great as well. Didn't have food but other around us did and it looked lovely.

Beautiful decoration and fantastic sea view. Comfy seating and tasty drinks! However, on 3 occasions (out of four total drinks) the bar staff couldn't find the gin I had ordered, due to the shear number of them and seemingly random placing, so had to pick something else at near random. Pretty bar and (if they can find them) good gins!

Took my daughter here for brunch. Fab view of Swansea Bay and the Pier. Sat on the covered roof terrace. Surprisingly warm even though a very cold day. We both had avo & poached eggs on toast: the herb gremolata, lime, fresh chillis and pea shoots were a delightful and unexpected variation on the norm and eggs poached perfectly. Like how the big pitchers of water W lemon are lined up and you can help yourself to as much as you want. Staff very attentive and friendly. The vibe of this place is very bohemian. Love the smell from the open fires. Apart from the plastic plants can’t fault the place.

Very nice place, a good atmosphere and great selection (over 500 gins!). Lovely setting and would be great in the rooftop garden on a sunny day - unfortunately for us it was raining but the indoors is still lovely with lots of candles, plants, pictures, ornaments, and fireplaces. It is expensive - but you can choose more affordable options if you wish. The gins are categorised by price which is helpful.

Love this place! Found it by accident as it's tucked down a little lane in Mumbles and we hadn't noticed it before so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! We went on the live music night and the atmosphere was amazing - it reminded me a bit of the sort of glitzy gin joint you see in old Hollywood films! You go in through an inconspicuous door in the lane, up to the top floor and then you walk into a kind of Aladdin's cave. It's bigger than I thought it was going to be and there's a big lit-up bar along the back wall, crammed with every kind of bottle you can imagine, with 3 or 4 bar-tenders busily mixing and pouring cocktails. Good mix of seating, some large tables and some little booths along the edge of the room. The night we visited it was busy and lively, with a mix of younger and older people there which gave the place a good feeling. Lovely views of Mumbles Head and the lighthouse - there's a kind of veranda along the side that looks in that direction which looks great but wasn't open when we visited. The decor adds to the ambience, eclectic and low-key glamorous but comfortable, with a wood burner in the middle of the room which was unexpected but lovely. The cocktails we had were delicious and there's a loooooot to choose from. We had burgers and fries as well which were fine but not the best part of the experience. The live music was fab too. We'll definitely be going back. Little added bonus is that it's dog-friendly too - dogs are welcome until 7pm. Always a good sign for me!

What a lovely place!! The food was fantastic and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! My only tiny gripe was that it was a little cold and perhaps a little more light would be useful for reading the menu and eating! Would definitely recommend and I bet its even more amazing in the summer!!

I got recommended gin & juice from a friend that lives in mumbles. The description they gave us of the place didn't prepare us for the beautiful interior that this place offers, the seats by the window are by far the best!

I am sorry but we waited an hour for our food. And we were freezing cold. So decided to leave. Went to the toilets on the way out what a disgusting filthy mess they were and this was a Saturday afternoon. What will it be like at the end of the evening. Sanitary towels left on sink. Toilet paper all over the floor. I don't think I will be rushing back.

One of my favourite places in Swansea. The inside is very nicely decorated and especially nice at night as it is very atmospheric with the candles they light. The drinks are very nice and food is good too however they are a bit pricey. The staff are always polite and friendly. In the summer this is an amazing place when the sun is setting to see the views over the bay as they have an outdoor terrace area.

A lot of steps, however, the disable toilet is on the top floor, so there must be a lift somewhere 😄 Really like the ambiance inside and seeing though its essentially outside it stayed pretty warm. Drinks were delicious and im not a gin fanatic. Favourite one was "lets get it on". There is also food service as well for reasonable price in comparison to todays inflated pricing.

Great place, good food and drinks with a very relaxing atmosphere.

Been to G&J a few times now but our first time in The Grill. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was some of the best we have eaten. Recommend for a special occasion, the cocktails are also some of the best we have had anywhere in the UK. Frosty Clouds cocktail takes the style of a Pina Colada to a different level. Steaks are up there with the Hawksmoor or Gaucho in London. Would travel the 145 miles we travelled just to eat here.

Not for allergies or dietary requirements! I have coeliac disease - was informed by multiple staff that my halloumi burger was gluten free and was specifically safe for coeliacs. Have since been feeling very unwell and violently sick multiple times - clearly dangerously lacking in allergen training.

Food was sent back as it was burnt, no problem in changing it but replacement meal was also a little burnt so bye this time just eat it quickly as we were very hungry then left, premises were also quite cold.

Note that this is a dog friendly restaurant (dogs allowed upstairs in bar by tables) and cashless. Food wasnt particularly good. The place is beautiful. Service is pretty sketchy, guy asked if we need anything and just walked off when we asked for some sauce and never came back. Found him having a chat behind bar on way out. No table service for drinks or food. A place to drink expensive yet average cocktails while enjoying the view.

We had Sunday lunch at the Gin and Juice ‘The Grill’ restaurant. The food was lovely and the portions were generous. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We were given complementary cockles. All the tables had a spectacular view across Swansea Bay.

Beautiful setting with an amazing view of the ocean! My favorite spot in Mumbles to view the sunset sky. The menu for food is small, but the food is excellent. However, gin and other beverages are excellent and offer an endless array of choices.

Overpriced and dogs allowed really put me off

We didn’t have a booking, we were seated in the grill menu area, there was a different menu if you are seated in the main area, unfortunately this wasn’t explained to us before being seated, our kids were not allowed to order Burgers from the other menu or replace their mash with chips lol, had to get an additional side order. Ridiculous if the food is from same Kitchen, has put us of returning. The food was nice but nothing special, Malbec ok, cocktails were very good. Service speedy and attentive.

Fabulous ambience- great cocktails, reasonably priced. I’m looking forward to returning. I just hope that there isn’t as long as a queue at the bar next time ( we waited for around ten minutes to be served, and it wasn’t very busy- but just two people serving).

Dissapointing the second time around. visited there with my dad who's in his late 80's. We were refused a simple request that he have egg and chips whilst the rest of us chose from the menu. Chef refused to do it (keep in mind they were serving chips and eggs on other dishes)

The sea views are breathtaking across the bay just beautiful all together!we come here a few times now and the bands are brilliant night too!! Food is delish!! Really delightful space, wonderfully and imaginatively designed. Loved the choice of mocktail. Food opted for a chicken salad which was mostly salad, too many peppers and onions. Would have prefered hot baby potatoes not cold.

Really nice cocktail bar. Service was efficient and friendly. The staff clearly put a lot of effort into making every drink and there was a lively atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable too. Shoutout to the bartender in the checkered shirt who made great drinks.

Came here the other day to film a party upstairs in the rum & fizz area. So can't comment on the food but the place itself was perfect. Not the largest of places but perfect if you have a small gathering, actually makes the event feel more busy that way. The staff were lovely, easy to talk too, good at their job and always smiling. Atmosphere was great, would definitely recommend people to go. (The food in the picture the guests actually bought elsewhere for the party)

Very impressive bar/pub witch serves food over looking Mumbles bay👌 I went here after work in casual clothing and they were fine with me dressed down even though it looks posh. Highly recommended you need to try. Works do there Christmas can't wait.

Awesome rooftop bar with tasty food. Got this place recommended by the staff in the hotel we were staying at. The entrance is little bit hidden between the buildings so don’t give up if you don’t fin it straight away. We had lunch and tried a couple of burgers, which were both a good portion and very tasty. The ambience of the place was very nice with great music and great views of the bay. Huge selection of gins which are very well presented by friendly bar staff.

Very nice, friendly atmosphere. It's like you're just drinking at your own house with your friends. Though we were not able to have a taste of their food because we came past 9 pm. We'll try next time. Another plus which I noticed was there were also elders having a nice time in the place. At the entrance, they checked for IDs. So that means if you're underage, you won't be allowed.

Gin & Juice is a lush, camp and floral bar on the top floor, so it has views across the bay and up to the castle. There is a good range of cocktails and other drinks. The food is delicious. We enjoyed a pleasant lunch and we will be back for cocktails and live jazz. Recommended.

Fantastic afternoon out! We held a meal for a baby shower. They were able to offer gluten free options for a friend who was celiac. Delicious food and cocktails. Lunch meal price were very affordable for the quality of the meal. Only one small hiccup but solved very quickly. I would still 100% recommend. Can't wait to go back.

Found this place last night. Love the decor, the vibe and the drinks. It's very relaxed. Their range of drinks goes beyond the menu. Their knowledge is impressive. I don't think there's a drink they can't make. Bar staff are fantastic.
