We went there for the first time in 20 years! Food and service and atmosphere were excellent. I had air dried beef followed a half a duck deliciously cooked. My wife had proper minestrone followed by crab pasta. desserts were Italian ice cream and sorbet, It was nice to have proper white table clothes, real candle light and olives and bread included with no charge. Proper mature waiters. The wine is well chosen and good value. My wife had cocktail and I had a nice smooth Malbec. Prices very reasonable. In fact, if you want to splash out you could have bottle of Tignanello 2015 as below retail price at £ 220 but perfectly acceptable wine are available there by the glass is just £ 7 to £ 9 per 250 ml ! Its a traditional restaurant with excellent food service and very fair prices. Definitely will return.

Fantastic selection of sea food - all very fresh and tasty - spaghetti alle vongole my favourite - lasagna was also excellent - tiramisù out of this world!

I haven't been to Da Remo's for years, and can't actually remember why! This is a hidden gem in Denham Village. The restaurant is decorated with old wood panel walls, so is very traditional. The menu was a typical Italian menu with all the favourites....

On our second visit to Da Remo, we were pleased with the food and choices but wish we had been warned they were having a large party for lunch. All speech was drowned out by the party, my husband had to remove his hearing aids and our elderly guest couldn't make herself heard. If we go back we will ask if they have any large groups booked for lunch. The restuarant was fully booked.

This is our go-to restaurant for any special occasion. Excellent service without being over-the-top. Never had a bad meal there. Cracking calves liver. Beautiful starters- especially melon and Parma ham, or in fact, any of them. Very reasonable for the lovely atmosphere and quality of food and service. Highly recommended.

We ate at Da Remo on Saturday for my father's 85th birthday. We grew up eating at this restaurant over 30 years ago and was stunned at the deterioration in the standard of the food. The tiger prawn starters with a chilli sauce was poorly presented and clearly not fresh as the prawns had been taken out of the shells and were hard. The seabass came with a sauce and they left the soggy skin on each fillet. The vegetables were hard and everyone was disappointed by this meal. The bill came to £315.00 and the food was awful. We will NEVER return to this restaurant.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is apparent as soon as you walk in and are greeted by a smartly dressed, smiling person.The food was lovely - it was a pleasure to be able to eat traditionally prepared and served food, served with courtesy and a smile.

Visited this restaurant on a recommend and was so pleased we did. A lunch time meal for three was just superb, service excellent and welcome first class. First visit for a group of us celebrating a Birthday. Quaint, olde worlde interior with beautiful laid tables. The serivce was excellent with waiters who were willing to have a laugh with you. Food was good, although it did remind me of a 70's menu with a slight twist. Nice choice of food including the 'specials' of the day.

Been to this restaurant a couple of times previously for a Sunday lunch. Thought the food was not cooked as well as previously and was very average. Nice to have a dessert trolley which you do not see in many places these days. Service was very good. Mentioned this previously in a review and, that is that the toilets need updating, the hand driers are very old fashioned and very slow and it would help if paper towels were provided.

My wife and I visited on a Saturday evening, we had to book mind you as this excellent restaurant is very popular indeed, why? Simple, it is Bellisimo! The welcome on entering is very warm, there is always a smile and humour with excellent timing here. We've been several times now over the five years when we're in the area. The ambience is very relaxing with it's light oak shade wooden panels and beautifully laid out tables, though Da Remo was very busy on this Saturday evening the service was swift and we were well tended, our food was tremendous too, there is something for everyone, that includes vegetarians and vegans, this restaurant moves with the times despite having a traditional feel to it. It's okay ....nothing special to write home about , service was rushed , food was average . I think if I had been Sean Connery or Roger Moore the meal would have been to die for . Should have got a pizza from Sainsbury's and stayed in the cottage , and watching repeat boring episode of come dancing or bake off .

In the main this is a good restaurant though some dishes are a little bland the first I tried was steak with diane sauce and is very good. I find the mushroom soup lacks flavour seasoning and body. Liver and wild boar ragu similarly quite plain, I've had better Italian food elsewhere and not so expensive. Service is very good but then again it should be for a 10% charge automatically included. Just my opinion but it has a large following always quite busy but I have been spoiled by a now closed Italian restaurant (retired) called Numero Due in Castle Donington. I'm afraid this one doesn't measure up to the taste experience.

We came to this wonderful restaurant in May when we were celebrating our Ruby Wedding. Lovely and cosy just the two of us.. Denham village is the perfect setting for this Italian restaurant. ... it's charming and just a beautiful village.. time has not spoilt it .. just how it should be.

Been visiting this traditional Italian restaurant for many years mainly for Sunday lunch now and have never been disappointed. They don't make them like this anymore both in the food or ambiance. Good food, polite service, relaxed atmosphere. You can actually have a conversation without shouting. Love it, booked again for Sunday lunch in two weeks time.

This is an ok place the food is very dated the accompaniment was ridiculous very 80’s. service was good. Could do with being brought into 2019. Food tasted ok nothing to write home about. And reducing their menu down. Would I go again probably not.

This is the restaurant that we always book when the family want to have a special meal together. Fantastic Italian food, wine, service and atmosphere in a classic, cosy restaurant with approx. 60 covers. We keep going back time and again because everything about Da Remo is excellent. There is no better place for Italian food in south Buckinghamshire and it is well worth making a reservation - necessary as the place is invariably full most evenings.

I love this place. I've been coming here for over 15years. The food has always been consistently brilliant . We love the muscles and all fish is amazing. It's all freshly cooked-i know this as I order my food altered and a dish that isn't on the menu. Staff are welcoming. It's brilliant. Love it here.

Never disappoints us and our friends were very impressed too. They live in Salisbury where there are many restaurants to choose from but they were overwhelmed with the service and the food and the atmosphere at Da Remo. So that says it all.

I love the intimate atmosphere of this restaurant. The Italian food was amazing and the service was discreet and excellent. The restaurant set us up a special table for this occasion that was perfect as we were numerous and we were able to order a la carte instead of having to choose a set menu. The food is nice but the restaurant is really stuck in the 1970’s. It is a place your nanna would like and remind her when italian restaurants first came out. The menu is hardly challenging, mains cine with roast potatoes, carrots and runner beans. Wine is reasonable priced, service is ok, prices are ok. No pizzas. La Palma in iver heath is better. It is nicely decorated, all white table cloths and in a nice location. Parking on the street no car park but not a problem as Denham is a tiny village.

Came here with a group of friends for a catch up meal on a Saturday night. The food was excellent. Camembert, scallops and salmon starters all good. Liver and onions, sea bass and pasta equally good.

Sunday lunch at Da Remo is a lovely experience. It is our favourite restaurant and for a family occasion it is perfect because the atmosphere for all ages is exactly right. On Sunday we celebrated my husband's birthday with our immediate family which included four young children--a party of ten altogether. The food as always was wonderful with a good choice for all age groups. Although the restaurant was full the service was efficient and unhurried. Everyone was full of praise and loved the food, the atmosphere and the friendliness of all the staff. Somehow Da Remo always hit the right note and all credit is due to the chef, the waiters and Domenico for leading such a brilliant team -- all really professional.

Australia has one of the largest Italian populations outside Europe, and as a consequence, many excellent Italian restaurants. But nothing to compere with the upmarket presentation of Da Remo. A superbly decorated traditional dining room staffed with professional staff and finally delicious food created by an expert chef. The dessert cart....I could go on and on, but all this at competitive prices spoiled by staff who obviously love their job. On behalf of Barbara (after three nights our table was referred to as "Barbara's table"), I congratulate you all and as well travelled Aussies we rate you as our best dining experience....ever! So readers, treat yourself.

I organised our company Christmas Lunch here for 29 people on the 14th December. It was the first time we had been here for such a do and everyone enjoyed. They liked the location (little village), the atmosphere, the choice/quality of the food and the excellent service. Unfortunately 3 people were late due to trains but the it was no problem to the staff to hold back until everyone had arrived and then everything flowed beautifully. Despite the number of people and the different choices all food arrived at the same time.

Nothing fancy about the food here, just good value classic Italian dishes served by friendly staff in pleasant surroundings. I had the Christmas offerings, the Roast Turkey and the Christmas Pudding, which were well cooked and tasty. The house wines helped wash it all down. A pleasant lunch.

This is the most authentic Italian restaurant we have eaten at in many year outside of Italy where we go each year. The estabishment is somewhat old fashioed in decor, wood panels on the walls, but the food is outstanding. We will certainly use it again as they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Try the osso buco which is one of my favorite italian dishes washed down with a nice glass of Valpolecella Ripasso.

This is like stepping back in time, in the nicest possible way. The restaurant building itself is very old, and has a quality, traditional feel. The staff are very friendly and polite, and go about their work in a most unobtrusive and respectful manner. The food is beautifully cooked and presented, with a superb dessert trolley.

Thursday I visited with a group of 27. The welcome and service were excellent. I had soup, calves liver and sweet from the trolley - all ist class. I will certainly return.

Visited Da Remo with a group of friends while we were in Denham for a week of training. We weren’t sure how authentic the food would be given it’s located in a small village. But we were completely blown away by the hospitality and the food.

Lovely Italian food and very efficient staff make this a really nice experience. It’s located in the lovely quiet village of Denham but was quite busy on the Monday I visited. They offer a 20% discount on Mondays. It’s quite smart with wood panelled rooms and uniformed staff, so you might need to dress smart casual. A great place to stop by if your in the area.
