I had heard good things about this restaurant, however it exceeded my expectations. The food is superb. The staff are friendly and efficient without being overfussy. There were 11 of us and the meals came out together. Just brilliant! Many thanks

Visited this little gem for the first time tonight with my friend. The staff were so helpful and friendly - it felt like I had been there a million times before! The food was amazing! Lovely service, amazing prices, wonderful atmosphere! Will be back!

We went here with my husband who likes curry and also likes dumplings, my 17 year old who is pretty much ok with all food, my mum who doesn't like spicy food and nearly didn't come, and my 14 year old son who said he would try things but might go home and eat pizza. Anyhow. Wow! THE WHOLE FAMILY LOVED IT!!!!! Honestly. We ate the poppadoms. Then ate starters of lamb chops, dumplings and a lamb kebab. Then shared 4 main meals, 3 gorgeous breads and 2 rice. The food is so tasty. Curry like, but not. Fragrant. Tasty. Gorgeous. Empty plates all round. World definitely revisit.

Delicious food. I’ve lived around the corner from this restaurant for many years and I’ve never eaten here. No reason in particular but I can honestly say I will be returning. The quality of the meat in the curry excellent. I have never had Nepalese curry before and I was very impressed. The staff were lovely and helped with the selection of curries.

As always we love it here! We travel across Liverpool to treat ourselves as the good and service is so worth it! Lovely staff, foods always amazing whatever we try and so nice to see a full house, definitely recommend x

Heavy handed with the salt or msg to enhaunce a rather generic over priced curry. Poppadoms were fresh, sauces/ pickles were in the smallest dishes for each. About 3 tea spoons of sauce. Momos were covered in a store bought curry sauce. Nothing wow, nothing to talk about.

Went to this restaurant a month ago with my beautiful wife for a romantic date and I was not disappointed .The food was very good and me and my mrs thoroughly enjoyed the night out .On top of the beautiful food, the staff were exceptional consistently making sure the customer was fine and very nice people . Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant for its great food and lovely staff !

We ordered a take away from Da Mount Ghurka. Our food was ready for collection on time. Good sized portions with great vegetarian selection. Each dish had it's own distinct flavour and spicing. Not at all greasy. Totally delicious. We particularly enjoyed the paneer with spinach, watercress and dill and the daal. We will definitely be back for more!

I’ve cycled past this restaurant for a number of years taking in the smells without visiting. Tonight was my first visit to the restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. From the popadoms with dips to the starters, unbelievable.we ordered garlic naans late, just before the mains but they never turned up with the mains, I thought this was gonna let things down but no within a minute this was rectified. Along with the main it was everything I expected and more. This was my first visit and I must say it’s the best meal I’ve had for as long as I can remember. I will definitely be back and it will be my go to restaurant, well done to everyone from the owners to the chef and to all front of house , amazing!! Can’t wait for my next visit or takeaway.

Saturday night takeway was amazing as always. I am lucky enough to have eaten in incredible restaurants (many Michelin starred) around the world and I can honesty say the quality and consistency of the food from Da Mount Gurkha holds its own with every single one of them.If you live in Crosby and haven't been to this restaurant before then I am jealous of you as you are in for a treat.

Went for a wonderful meal with my wife and elderly father in law , food was very enjoyable from starter's to main meal no room for desert. Everest beer 🍻 went down well. Thanks to all the staff.

I have never been to a Nepalese restaurant but after being recommended this restaurant by 2 friend's I was pleasantly surprised. I went there will a family member and the decor when You walked it was lovely, well lit & the tables were well spaced out I.e. good social distancing. We met the owner whom was a delightful Nepalese lady and her son. We decided to go for the Lamb Curry house special, which was stunning & had lots of flavour to it & the Lamb Chops which were delicious and had lots of meat on them. We accompanied it with some sweet potato dish which was very tasty as well. The head chef came out to greet us as well. The toilet's were incredibly clean which ws good. My only fault if there was one, was that one of the Waiter's brought the main dishes plates, while I was still eating My Poppafom's & dips (starter's). He could have been a bit more patient. Other than that it was a lovely experience, well worth visiting. It is also worth noting this restaurant get's 5 Star's on 'Trip Advisor' with not one bad review on it. I can see why as well.(Visited over the week-end).

De hecho, Laxman ha agregado algunos platos más excepcionales y sigue teniendo muchas opciones para elegir y sin poder esperar a mi próxima visita. Como siempre digo, te debes a ti mismo visitar el Monte Gurkha, pero asegúrate de dejar una mesa para mí y Sue.

Cenamos aquí anoche y fue una experiencia fantástica. Los camareros y los propietarios fueron muy amables y serviciales. Fueron lo suficientemente generosos como para tomar un plato que no era lo que esperábamos de la factura, y vinieron a comprobar que todo estaba bien. ¡Qué noche tan agradable, lo recomendamos encarecidamente y definitivamente volveremos!

Mi amigo y yo cenamos aquí la semana pasada y él nunca había estado antes. Amaba cada segundo por la comida, la bebida, el servicio e incluso la música.Disfrutamos de poppadoms y dips seguidos de los MOMO más deliciosos. Luego tuvimos platos para compartir, daal, arroz y pan sublime. La cerveza Everest también es preciosa. La comida fue excelente y se sirvió con mucho orgullo y cuidado.

The food was really, really tasty full of flavour. The service was nice and friendly. We had a visit from the head chef just to check everything was OK...... A nice touch.

I had a wonderful meal with my dad, we are both vegetarian and had lots of good options and wonderful customer service will definitely be returning soon :)

Had a great meal here tonight.started with the poppadoms with 4 dips the the lamb chops in Nepalese spices beautiful.and for main course we had lamb in coconut with cashew nuts looked a bit like a lamb korma.and a lamb curry with pilau rice and sweet nan bread.both main courses were perfection.and the staff were very attentive and very polite I would highly recommend this restaurant oh I forget this was all washed down with Nepalese lager

1st time visit for us and not disappointed. The food was unbelievable. Between us we had a number of starters and mains. The Momo's, lamb chop starters are amazing as was the garlic mushrooms and fish bites. I had the the house chicken curry which was delicious( a bit lik a massala) a couple had the lamb special.I apologise for not knowing the Burmese name of things but I doubt anything is bad!. 100% return here. Also worth noting that the house lager is nice as well.

Me and my partner visited da mount gurkha while enjoying a trip to Liverpool and the food was absolutely delicious and the beer was very refreshing. The customer service was excellent and will definitely be returning if we visit Liverpool again.

A very busy restaurant and fairly noisy. The meals are marked on the menu with chillies to signify the level of heat. I chose a mild curry which in my opinion was a medium heat and therefore too hot for me.

Visited for an early evening meal. Food was excellent, incredibly tasty. Very fast service. Cost for starter, main course each and two drinks each £25pp. Restaurant looks a little run down but go for the food, you will not be sorry.

Visited on a Monday evening as not much else open so decided to give this a try again as not been for a long time. Still absolutely top notch food even on a quiet night and a nice pint of Ashali to wash it down. Chef came out to have a chat with us again. Absolutely fantastic place

After having gone to Nepal a few years ago, I had longed to go to this restaurant, to remind me of those past times, and having read great reviews.I eventually, had got around to going! Staff were welcoming and helpful when queried over the dishes. I had also met the owners they were lovely and welcoming.There was so much choice on the menu!Food was presentable and catered for preference to heat level in spice.I would not hesitate to return to try other dishes on the menu!

A very quiet Birthday Meal with David , we havent been here for many months as so much a has be going on in our family , It was my birthday and i wanted to see old friends and catch up with them , we booked a table and arrived on time on the day 16th Jan 8pm a lovely welcome awaited us hugs and kisses Our table was waiting we ordered the food and our drinks starters arrived Fabulous , Beautiful main meals David had a mixed seafood and fish hot plate , he loved , i had a meal which hasnt been on the menu for years It was Fantastic I know no what we have been missing Beautiful Food Friendly People warm and welcoming place , i even got a birthday slice of cake with a candle We will be back as soon as we can Looking forward to it Many Thanks for a great night

Very courteous service and decent value for money. Good choice of alcohol for those that wish to have a drink. We will definately be coming back, and we live over 230 miles away.

Been a big fan of Nepalese food, we decided to visit this place, while we were in Liverpool area. Once I entered the restaurant staffs were very friendly and welcoming. They even had the same beer, Golden Everest as the restaurant in Grantham did. Obviously we started with momo, tasted very similar to the one that I had previously then had duck sekuwa later on for main and it was very tasty and staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone else too give it a go.

I reviewed this restaurant in 2017 and mistakenly reported that my meal had not been gluten free as I was unwell afterward, however, I have just found out that I was inadvertently given gluten just after I had eaten in the restaurant when I went to a friend's house for dessert.

Buena comida, perfectamente preparada. Servicio eficiente Hemos estado aquí antes y definitivamente volveremos. Está situado en una calle muy transitada, por lo que aparcar puede ser complicado, lo cual es una pena. Es una excelente relación calidad-precio. Había cinco en nuestro grupo y un bebé y, aunque no nos ofrecieron un alto, nos sentamos en una mesa con mucho espacio para el cochecito a nuestro lado.

Nice place, good food and quite busy. Service was a bit slow but worth the wait. May make it a regular visit.

Took my wife for a birthday meal with our 7yr old son. Lovely food and warm, welcoming service from the staff. Great appetisers, delicious starters and a filling main course. Well cooked and great flavours all round. Definitely recommend.

A friend recommended this place to us said it was the best restaurant he had been to full stop. So after going ourselves I haven’t been to many better, service was excellent a young man was very polite and very helpful all staff were attentive without being over the top and even the chef came to our table at 1 time to see if we were enjoying the food. The food wow chicken wing starter they are not just chicken wings they are special ,momo dumplings we got fried with ground minced lamb were divine and lamb kofte kebab most tender I have tasted. Then the party starts in your mouth with the curries we had chicken biriyani with medium sauce and the first chicken curry on the mains don’t be scared of the 4 chilles it’s just nice and not too hot at all the spices and flavour pinging all over your mouth with garlic bread to accompany best meal have had in a long time will be back very soon thanks.

Antes que nada. . . . . . el aparcamiento. No tienen ninguno. Ni siquiera pienses en el Metro de Tesco en la carretera porque imponen estrictos tiempos de espera. Su mejor opción son las calles laterales o el transporte público. El servicio fue excelente y la comida buena relación calidad-precio y decente. Tenía un entrante de estilo tikka ensartado que era asombrosamente bueno. . . . . tiernos y sabrosos al mismo tiempo. Podría haber comido otro inmediatamente después. En general, muy recomendable.

I come here regularly. I have always enjoyed the food however I have always thought that the service was slow. This time it was another level. There were only 4 other tables in the restaurant and we didn’t get our food until 1 hour and 20 minutes after we’d sat down. And there was only two of us. The restaurant owners child was also running around the place screaming while people were trying to enjoy their meals. This experience has really ruined my opinion of this place and it’s a shame as the food is really good.

This place came highly recommended by a friend, and I am happy to say it did not disappoint. The menu was varied, with clear and concise descriptions as to what each dish was. The waiter was charming and very amusing! Will certainly come again.

Food in here is second to none - if you’re into Asian food then believe the hype. Lamb is cooked to perfection and the dishes are actually unique.

We had heard good things about Da Mount Gurkha but we were blown away by this food! We were a group of six and each of us had a different meal with starters and mains. I had one of the chefs specials and it was easily the best curry I have ever tasted. It was all very well presented and great quality meat was used. The portions were huge and great value for money. There was 1 waitress serving that evening and she did a fantastic job. She said the other staff member that evening was sick so she was on her own but she was efficient and really friendly. The place itself has a welcoming and homely feel. I cannot wait to go back and try some more of the dishes on the menu.

The range of foods on offer from traditional curries to more local Nepalese dish is astounding, the staff are very helpful and will gladly talk you through anything that you need to know, the quality of the food is great and the prices very reasonable, will be returning soon!

Wow! Amazing Food, all ingredients were so fresh & tasty. Superb service from the minute we arrived. First time I’ve visited this restaurant but certainly won’t be the last. As a large group booking of 16 sometimes it’s difficult to get it everything right but credit to the staff here, so friendly & everything ran like clockwork from the moment we arrived last night. The ambience around the whole place was spot on, busy and lively for a Saturday night. I had the Fish starter which was perfect and packed with warm spicy flavours. The main was a great chicken curry, again described as a hot spicy curry but so smooth, rich and thick sauce with plenty of rice & bread to share around the table. All washed down with a couple of refreshing Everest Beers. A perfect little restaurant for a great evening with friends. Highly recommended. I will look forward to enjoying a meal here again! 5 Stars.

Hace tiempo que quería probar el Mount Gurker, no me decepcionó. Comida encantadora muy sabrosa. Sin embargo, el servicio fue excepcional, llamamos muy tarde para hacer una reserva, creo que hubiéramos llegado al restaurante a las 10 pm. El personal acomodó nuestra solicitud y en realidad se quedó tarde. El restaurante quedó abierto más tarde para acomodarnos. Ahora para mí ese es el servicio. Solo nos dimos cuenta de que el restaurante permaneció abierto más tarde al día siguiente cuando revisamos los horarios de apertura.

This past weekend I visited the restaurant for my friends birthday. There were 11 of us on a Saturday night and on arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The place is quite unassuming and decor is basic but the real charm of the place is the staff and the food. Our first impression came from our host (a gentleman who may be co owner?) who was a Nepalese native with a knack for understanding us scousers! He was warm, friendly, cheerful and very attentive. As we were such a large group this could have been a tall order for some restaurants but no Da Mount Gurkha. Drinks arrived promptly and orders were taken swiftly.

Had a brilliant night and great service food was excellent the staff were very friendly and helpful will be going again soon
