We visit this establishment fairly often and we are never disappointed. The food is always exceptional and there’s a lot of variety. The staff are extremely friendly and it’s just an all round great place to go out eat food and enjoy yourself.

We dine here in May excellent food very friendly staff it was nice to see the locals dinning there.. A five star experience!

Staff has been very kind and friendly and gave us a choice of table, the pizza and calzone was very nice and the dessert also which was only on a black board and not online. Price was very good too, really enjoyed the stay

What a wonderful evening. Felt comfortable and enjoyed my starter main and dessert. I had the special "Crab Ravioli" and it was DELICIOUS. The cheesy garlic bread was the best I've had. Lovely authentic Italian restaurant.

Love this place - great service, friendly staff and delicious food. Outside area works well and quite cosy if it’s chilly. We had the tomato & mozzarella garlic bread to start, I had the carbonara and a salad for my main and my friend had spaghetti and meatballs. SadlyNo room for dessert but a nice coffee to finish. Very reasonably priced and really lovely. So glad it’s literally 3/4 mins walk from my house!

Fantastic place, great host. I got invited by a couple of "old" buddies and it was all good. Had some great Mussels to start, then a great main course, wine and a brandy. I will go back..

We celebrated my wife’s birthday with an outstanding dinner - hot, tasty and delivered with smiling eyes! The fresh monkfish and sea bass portions were huge and cooked to perfection. Thank you Da Luca.

What a great little restaurant, great food great atmosphere , been there multiple times for the past 2 years and is the best real Italian restaurant in the Marlow area . The pizzas are fantastic and so the rest of the dishes.👍👍🤩🤩🤩

Small family restaurant feel. Good service, food was inexpensive but not the best in terms of quality of food. The pizza was decent. Surprised it is so high on the list of restaurants in Marlow.

This is a fabulous restaurant. Reasonably priced , great wine choices - try the more expensive Primitivo - you won’t be disappointed. The tomato garlic bread was excellent as were all the pizzas. The fish dishes were to die for. The service was warm and friendly. This is a superb establishment- we had the complimentary limoncello too. We definitely will be back when we next visit Marlow - much better Quality than any of the chains and reasonably priced. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

I don’t understand how so many high scores have been awarded to this restaurant. I had the daily special starter and main course and was disappointed. The sauce was the same in each course and I did not recognise the ingredients except salt. If you enjoy lots of salt in your meals then this restaurant would be a good option. I heard another customer complaining about too much salt in the cheese on the pizza’s so it was not just my palette.

We were on a staycay in Marlow and we fancied Italian so gave Da Luca a go. It was just lovely! We were 2 adults & 2 teens and we all really enjoyed our delicious food - the pizza was amazing and we all left feeling stuffed. The service was friendly and so all in all a great spot - if prefer to support smaller, family run places over the horrible chain places then give this a try - you won’t be disappointed

I love this restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the pizzas are fabulous. I’ve been going to Da Luca for years and hope to for many years to come, it feels like being in Italy. Highly recommend.

Yummy Pizza 🍕. This is a great little find in the centre of Marlow Arse, the restaurant has outside seating area and is an authentic Italian Restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place for yummy 🍕.

We had takeaway tonight as the restaurant was full due to COVID-19 restrictions. When collecting the food the smell of the food from those that we’re eating in was amazing. We don’t live locally but have family who do. Hopefully those in the area will continue to support this local gem

Fantastic lockdown takeaway. We ordered via Messenger and selected an available collection slot. The pizza’s and chicken Milanese were lovely. We also ordered a bottle of Limoncello which we forgot so they kindly went out of their way to deliver it! Will definitely be back

Being out in Marlow Bottom I hadn't been before the corona lockdown. It does free delivery to SL7 and I'm now a convert. So much better than Domino's and decent value. We've had 3 deliveries since lockdown and really enjoying it.Personal favourite is Rustica (Tomato, Mozzarella, Meat Balls, Peperoni Sausage, Ham, Onion And Chips) however request an egg instead of the chips, the perfect pizza!Would love to see a white base pizza on the menu, looking forward to sampling a Calzone, and can't wait to go to the actual restaurant when things return to normality.

We come here regularly and get takeaway pizzas every month or so and we came to celebrate my birthday with family, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was superb, will definitely be taking them here again

This is the first time I’ve ever been to da Luca, their was 4of us now we were not in a hurry so the some what slow service was not a big issue but what i did have issue with was three meals came up together one was risotto,a mushroom penne and spaghetti bolognese all very nice i was informed BUT my meal which on the menu said it was pork shank (i would have said gammon) was about 15 minutes after there meals were served up they tried eating slowly but i thought that was very poor it was nice and tender but not being served at the same time a bit poor I think

Wife and I just fancied something Italian so booked a table at DaLuca in marlow bottom we arrived a little early which was a good thing as we had a choice of 2 tables as soon as we were seated the other table was snapped up we ordered our drinks promptly bread and butter soon arrived along with olives the starters were ignored and went for the main course which we knew from previous experience that the portion size was nothing to be trifled with we not disappointed pollo Milanese and spaghetti and tomato sauce was great and the wife's risotto frutti de mare was spectacular just enough room for a little dessert and coffee to finish the service was excellent thank you all at Da Luca see you again soon

Fresh simply cooked Italian food. Surroundings (inside and outside on terrace) are comfortable but not fancy. Cheerful service. Good value.

Haven’t reviewed for a while as our local restaurant. Get used to never being disappointed. Went tonight with friends from Ickenham. Great food excellent service- always feel special. Well done everyone another excellent evening. We are so lucky to have this restaurant as our local.

Without doubt the best pizza in the country. Fantastic choice, cooked to perfection, perfect size, wonderful crust, amazing texture - just as pizza should be, authentic. Also lovely service, very cosy restaurant, nice little outside seating area, friendly, welcoming and with a pleasant atmosphere - not too big, very comfortable and very accommodating. Also fabulous selection of other Italian foods including fish and meat, but it's my pizza go-to and I've never managed to order anything else! Nice pudding choices for those who like puddings. Really a lovely little local gem - lucky us to have Da Luca near-by! We'll definitely be back regularly now that we've found you!

I defy you to find a better restaurant in Buckinghamshire. We have been several times in recent years -the food and service are fantastic and it is a treat to go there.Such high standards are maintained

We were in the area and made a fairly last minute booking. Our table was ready for us when we arrived and we were warmly greeted. All of the staff were attentive and not once did we struggle to get someone's attention. We all enjoyed our food, especially the pizzas. Overall good value for money, will definitely return if the opportunity arises.

My partner and I have been looking for a small, cosy, traditional family run Italian restaurant for sometime that is local to us that has amazing food... we have found that in this restaurant! The food is delicious and is very fairly priced. We will more than likely be regulars now!

Booked a table for 2 at 8.00pm arrived a little early but no problem restaurant was busy but it did not detract from the service drinks order was taken promptly as was the food order starter arrived in good time attentive service throughout which matched the quality of the food and the size of portions was impressive as was the food we will be looking forward to going again

Been coming since they first opened. Lived in marlow since 1985 so know a few locals. When the building came on the market I got speaking to a fellow restaurant owner from central marlow he was considering the purchase, but he felt the location would never work so turned it down. Da Luca was formed and it would seem they have proved everyone wrong! Popularity speaks for itself! They are always soo accommodating (sorry I know I should book more often!) super child friendly and just really down to earth and relaxing. Old school. Food is also top draw. Thanks guys for making marlow bottom an even more attractive destination! (Please let me know when I can get one of your new awesome orange polo shirts?!)

Best restaurant ever really recommended to people know like to go somewhere new and people who like Italian restaurant as when I first went there I loved it and wanted to come back and the reason how I knew this place is when my old Italian Restaurant I like got shut down in Marlow called franchises then we found de Lucas and now it is my favourite restaurant to go to

Great food as always! One of Marlow’s little gems. We are so lucky we live in Marlow bottom and can walk to the restaurant. We have been coming ever since they opened and have always had great food and friendly service.

Its size provides an intimate setting, the staff appear to be long-serving and provide good service and the quality of the food is consistently good on the whole. My only small niggle is the introduction of "potted desserts" in the last year. I preferred the former plated ones.

I’m so glad I found Da Luca! We’re on a work trip and had never been to High Wycombe before, looking for a place to dine last night found this little gem in Marlow and so pleased with everything - food was fantastic (we shared calamari, I had the spaghetti carbonara, my friend had the risotto, both delicious!), service was friendly and the whole atmosphere is cozy.

Eaten here on numerous occasions with friends and s always had great service and great food x lovely family run business. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful restaurant. Delicious food, family feel, miles better than the soulless pizza chains it competes with. Love visiting with large groups or as a family. We always feel fussed over and they often plonk down a bottle of limoncello or other similarly generous treats at the end of our meal. Simply superb.

there are lots of other pizza restsraunts one could choose but Da Luca is always our first choice. Why ? Because our kids say the pizzas are the best, because the staff are super friendly, because we are never rushed, because there is always a complimentary limoncello oh and one of the staff will talk about Arsenal for ages with my husband. A little piece of Italy in Marlow Bottom what's not to like?

We have been here a number of times now mainly due to the fact, the food is always at a very good quality and the service impeccable. We are always made to feel very welcome and the kids given extra attention. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit, we highly recommend!

My fiance and I have been visiting Da Luca since the restaurant opened and we have never been disappointed! The food is delicious, wines have been carefully chosen and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Really recommend the pizzas, they are FANTASTIC! Luca has set up a wonderful business. The fact the restaurant is one of the best in Marlow and is nominated for an award says it all! Go go go!

I came here for the good reviews. Either we had a bad night with them or the locals somehow are over rating this place. the food was average, if not a little too expensive for what it was. Wouldn't rush back here in a hurry. Toilet was not clean, to me this is a major issue for choosing to go back to places, just my pet worry : )

When we visit our friends in Marlow, we always have a meal at Da Luca. The food is fantastic and the staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Regularly visit with family and friends. Always love the atmosphere and super, friendly service. The food is delicious - we visited Rome last year in December for a holiday and we rushed back to Da Lucas for a great Italian meal as we had been so disappointed with the food in Rome!

We are local... with the choice of restaurants in Marlow as extensive as it is, We choose to dine at De Luca time and again due to the welcome received and the quality of food served. Wine is well priced and well sourced also. This place is a great authentic Italian with wonderful stall.

As per usual an amazing meal, staff and company. We love this Italian and especially love the specials when Luca has been to Billngsgate Fish Market. Thankfully everything is cooked so you can see its freshly prepared and dietry requirements can and have been sorted for us. Its not really Italian, just an English pizza and pasta place. If this wasn't the only cafe/eatery in Marlow Bottom, or was in Marlow - lets be honest, nobody would go.

Having lived in Marlow for 12 years we finally visited last night with our son & daughter-in-law! Why have we never been before????? Superb Italian food, lovely, friendly staff & reasonably priced! I’d go back tonight if I could!!!! A real find! You won’t be disappointed!

As a family we eat at Da Luca regularly and also often get take away pizzas and main meals. The quality of the food is always fantastic and the service is always friendly and swift, usually with a little glass of something tasty accompanying the bill when it’s time to pay.

We are so lucky to have this fab local restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere all first class. Our last visit was on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was full. The owner is cheerful and friendly towards customers and staff, while keeping an eye on the smooth running of his business The kitchen is open so you can see your food being freshly prepared. My spaghetti with fresh lobster (from the specials board) was delicious and the deserts are simply superb. A treasure in Marlow Bottom.

This is simply one of the best Italian restaurants in Buckinghamshire. The food served is always of the highest standards,fresh and tasty. There is a good range of wines and beverages and the staff and team are always friendly, welcome and engaging throughout.

There are times when I think I went to a completely different restaurant compared to previous reviewers, and this is one of them. Calamari overcooked and rubbery; bruschetta devoid of flavour: dry bread, no Italian spices, mean portion of tomatoes; from the special selection, flat mushrooms again devoid of taste.

We hired out Da Luca's for a private function during the afternoon in between service. Luca and his staff were amazing, the food was excellent and the service first class. Thank you so much to Luca and the team, everyone commented on how good the food was. Nothing was too much trouble, we were even able to stream our own playlist. We're very lucky to have this as a local restaurant - it is very popular so it's best to book but we have never ever been disappointed with the food or service and it's also very good value for money.

Made a last min reservation for dinner on Sunday evening and were pleased they had availability as most tables were taken when we arrived.

We were only in the area for 2 days and thought we would try this place based upon recommendations. We were not disappointed. This is a small, authentic Italian. The food and drink were all reasonably priced and the staff were happy and helpful. I had spaghetti vongole and my wife a huge piece of salmon coated with a delicious sauce.- both were excellent. My wife enjoyed the tiramisu afterwards. It was all so good, that we went back the next day when I had a baked aubergine dish for a starter which was superb and my wife had a delicious caprese salad. Then we both had their lasagne which was very tasty but so large we could both only eat half: they doggie-bagged the leftovers for us. I had to pull their legs - an Italian with no grappa!! Well worth the visit.

First time visiting this restaurant after driving past during the week and checking it out on trip advisor. There’s a reason this place has great reviews! The food and drink is great and so reasonably priced. There is a great atmosphere too, the restaurant is so wonderfully busy! Bruschetta And tiramisu was so amazing! Highly recommend this place. So great to find an authentic Italian with a great atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back.

Popped in whilst in Marlow after seeing this place on Trip Advisor , so glad we did . Authentic Italian food in a very relaxed of the beaten track location . Not expensive , friendly service and excellent food . A hidden treasure.

Whilst visiting Marlow for an evening we craved some Italian cuisine, so researched the best Italian in Marlow and this popped up. We managed to book a table for that Friday evening, and when we turned up and saw it packed out, we knew we’d made the right choice.

Amazing food, true Italian quisine, great atmosphere, situated in the heart of Marlow bottom. Kids loved it Can't wait to go back!

Went with friends who recommended . Enjoyed it - good pasta choices and specials - including an oven baked sea bream. And a fine special wine - Chianti Classico at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly too.

4 of us visited last night. 2 of us had a fantastic pizza while the other two had lasagne and a pasta dish with fish. All enjoyed our food. The staff are really friendly, service perfect and we will definitely return. Would suggest booking is essential, particularly at the weekend, as the venue is quite small. It did get noisy as the various tables raised their voices to be heard, but that just added to the lively feel of the place.

Saturday night and this place is full; had to wait 15 minutes for pre-booked table. I could see why... no one wants to leave. From arriving to departing the welcome and service is very good. We had starters of mussels in tomtato and garlic sauce, calamari and galic bread -a ll very wull coked and tasty, the calamari was in a very light batter. Mains of mixed seafood pasta, monkfish and pizza all very good - had a takeaway box for uneaten remains of the pizza. very nice tiramisu and affogato for dessert. The wines are very well priced, and the primitivo was very good quality. Good coffees to finish. Overall a very well presented, well cooked three courses and a very reasonable bill. Noticed that two family groups had been there when we arrived and were still there after we left (didnt look like they were rushing), which suggests that they were local and were very happy.

A lovely traditional Italian just outside of Marlow. The food is all fresh and tastes as it should - from such simple things as the olives and bread to the calamari and veal escalope. The service was friendly and well organised; it is easy to see why this is a local favourite. We will return.

My hubby has coffee here every single day outside under the lush umberella and heater (blankets available) I join the coffee gang when I'm not working and have a sneaky danish or croissant. We eat here at least once a week with friend's / grandchildre or alone. The food is lovely as are the staff and Gianluca is the owner and such a nice man. Family dinner with children. Excellent authentic Italian Restaurant. Pizza is very nice and LARGE. They do smaller sizes for children which are still huge! , but great news is that you can take home leftovers and enjoy the beautiful taste again. I can recommend this place and we will be back. Bonus: beer from the nearby Rebellion Brewery.

I took my wife to Da Luca for Valentines. The Lobster Pasta was brilliant, and the house Pinot Grigio was lovely. My however wife was less impressed (I suspect she thought the ambiance a little too relaxed!). Her Dover Sole was average, though the Tiramisu was great. Overall a lovely meal.

Lunchtime special - 2 courses for £10 is a favourite of mine. You never feel rushed in this restaurant, even if you're the last person in there at the end of the evening. The menu is good, the service is always friendly and fast and the take away service is also extremely swift, even at peak times. Highly recommended!!

After a visit to a nearby National Trust this restaurant was an easy journey from J4 of the M40.

The pizzas and calzone are fantastic and the service is always brilliant. Great to eat in or for a takeaway and prices are very reasonable.

Found this restaurant through Trip Advisor and the reviews were spot on. Superb service from the moment we arrived and the food was even better! We had a variety of food, I had the soup of the day and a pizza, my partner had the special scallops and a fish pasta dish and all were very well cooked and tasty. Even had a dessert and these were tasty too. All staff were friendly and the restaurant was spotless. Will definitely visit again. Thank you!

We come Luca's most days for a coffee amd coissanr/cake (and sit outside under the heaters) and at least weekly for dinner. With family and/or grandchildren or friends. Visited last week with a friend. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed ! All the staff were welcoming and accommodating.

We last visited Da Luca when they first opened and were disappointed at the small menu, quality of food and expensive pricing however as that was a few years ago now I can certainly say this now has to be my favourite Italian in the area. We had the Calamari and Brushetta to start, with the Calamari probably the best I’ve had, such light batter. Then I had the Calzone Della Cassa which was amazing. Loads of fillings and the dough tasted great. Wine wasn’t expensive either for Marlow restaurant prices. All in all a great place and we won’t be leaving it another few years before returning again.

We missed Da Luca when he left Henley - it was our go to Italian - so we decided to try out his restaurant in Marlow Bottom. It is smaller, with outside space at the front, overlooking the (relatively quiet) road, but the pizza was just as delicious as we remembered.

We went today for lunch with friends... as it was a first visit we decided on the lunch special.... the calamares were dull and rubbery, probably frozen.... so disappointed as we love them usually... pizza, lasagna and risotto wee OK, but nothing special... the chicken with orange sauce was awful, must have been cooked yesterday as it was so dry, as were the veggies, over cooked broccoli, dry carrot and thin and dry green beans,

The restaurant is warm and welcoming and the menu varied enough to be interesting. Likewise there were some good specials on the board. Food worth the visit. The only downside was the wait. Would visit again under assumption that 30mins wait was an exception.
