We went for Christmas Dinner it was fantastic we would be back

Went with my work colleagues. We all had the Xmas menu. Food was delicious and was very reasonably priced.

Great food, really reasonable prices. Cosy, casual vibe inside. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service.. Food was beautiful, we tried the Red Mullet which was exceptional, truly a special. King Prawns - Tomota Chilli Sauce Nicely cooked and really nice sauce Linguine Kings Prawns Again.. very nice. Calzone Pizza Tasted amazing, very fresh Service with a smile

Da Antonio is now located in CAFE RICI, Cadzow Street, Hamilton. Still the same great Staff, atmosphere and SUPERB FOOD & SERVICE. We have been coming to Antonio's restaurant for years and it never fails to disappoint. Plenty of choice on the excellent menu, and plenty not on the menu too. If it's not on the menu, ask Antonio (Chef) and he will prepare it for you. Look out for the Specials on the Blackboard, sit back, and enjoy an Italian culinary feast. If you enjoy Italian food.....get it at Cafe Rici (Da Antonio's) A++++++

Well what can I say. Found this place when wanting to go to eat at short notice, luckily not in peak times. Smallish restaurant (so book in advance) that is quaint and has that personal service. Since my first visit 2 weeks ago I have been back 3 times!! The atmosphere the food the price and the service I cannot fault. By far the best Italian food I have ever tasted. The food is exquisite. I will be back soon thats for sure. Thank you to all the staff and owners that work so hard to give such an awesome experience. Thank you again.

Great traditional Italian family restaurant, amazing food, highly recommend the spaghetti carbonara done in the traditional Roman style as requested, it was absolutely delicious, perfect al dente pasta, hubby had pizza rici which he loved, house red is very good, arancini for starter was very tasty, everything was so well cooked and Antonio is a great host, very friendly and he recognised us even though it's been 4 yrs since we were last in his restaurant. We will definitely be back for more from this fantastic wee restaurant.

Highly recommend this place, staff, chef, owner, very friendly. Food was amazing. Chef comes out & goes over the specials board, tells you, let him know how you would like your meal cooked, he really goes the extra mile. Went for an engagement meal. Was a small issue with tables but was sorted very quickly. There was a good choice of meals and if you ask they make very good pizza but not on menu. Good choice of steaks available. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Honestly can't find fault. Would definitely go back

A proper classic Italian restaurant. Lovely, friendly staff. The food was sooooo tasty. We had a king prawn with chilli & garlic starter, iltalian sausage pasta main and a seafood medley cooked in foil with the freshest Focaccia I've ever tasted. Da Antonio are moving premises soon and I really hope they manage to remain in Hamilton.

Absolutely gorgeous meal staff really friendly found a lovely restaurant just for them to be moving premises in 7weeks it was so relaxing you weren't hassled between courses would recommend for a night out.

I first ate at this restaurant a few weeks ago with friends in the beer garden food was lovely and excellent friendly staff so went for lunch the other day with friends and not disappointed lovely lunch menu and the staff are so nice and friendly definitely be back.

Good lunch menu as well as a la carte. Friendly staff. Stuck fairly rigidly to covid rules with well spaced tables. Antonio will come and talk to you and explain anything on the menu or any specials. Had an excellent lunch of mussels in pasta and met up with a couple of friends I hadn't been able to see for almost a year.

First time visit to this amazing restaurant but it won't be our last. The food was delicious, the staff really friendly & helpful & the restaurant itself very modern & new. We will definitely be back soon.

We went for dinner last night and had been looking forward to it as we had heard glowing reports about this place. Starter was nice can’t fault it. Main course was a different story. Steak was meant to be with a red wine sauce but sauce was more like a gravy and steak just tossed on the plate in a puddle of this. Came with potatoes and veg but asked to change to chips. Was told no veg because we opted for chips. Really? Other main was chicken Milanese. To say the chicken was thinly sliced would be an understatement and accompanied by spaghetti. Presentation and quality of food both left a lot to be desired. The waitress who served us was very pleasant and couldn’t be faulted. Very disappointed in my first experience of this place. Wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless i didn’t like them.

This guy goes above and beyond what is expected of a good quality restaurant owner. I tried to send food to my parents (in their 80's) from Lossiemouth 200 miles away as it is not possible to visit them during lockdown. Just eat let us down with transport so I phoned the restaurant direct. The chef sent his daughter out to deliver the meal within minutes. My parents always rave about the quality of the food and I have now used this restraunt on 3 separate occasions during lockdown to give my parents a night off cooking. It is an absolute delight to deal with someone who will always go the extra mile to satisfy his customers. I do not hesitate in highly recommending this place and look forward to doing business with them again.

Very nice location & clean bright facilities. Pity we couldn't take advantage of the well-stocked bar! (Covid T3 restrictions). Quality of set Christmas Menu was excellent (missed a roast potato though) and as always the service was friendly & efficient. Highly recommended and can't wait to visit again soon. Everytime we visit Da Antonio we are greeted by friendly staff and delicious food. The new location is perfect. I cannot wait to be able to visit again soon. For now I will enjoy ordering my takeaway - quality of food is not lost!

Visited the new venue for lunch . Spotless and spacious. As ever the food was thoroughly enjoyed and the service was attentive . Will certainly return.

The restaurant has been relocated to the inside of the Clydesdale Hotel, about a minutes walk from Hamilton West train station, well worth a visit. Absolutely spotless inside with a lovely casual atmosphere, the food was first class with large portions served. The service was absolutely spot on, no complaints about anything, will definitely return.

Have eaten here many times and always have a fab meal. The food is always very fresh and well prepared. There is always a great atmosphere.

Another amazing family meal from Antonio! This time was our first experience getting a takeaway due to the current circumstances! We arranged a time to collect our meal which was ready and roasting hot on arrival at home! Mothers Day was made by still getting our favourite meals during this time. A gem of an Italian restaurant, that might otherwise be off your radar. Run by the chef and his wife. Sometimes we've been in and it's just him serving and doing the food too. If you're looking for expensive lavish modern decor then it's maybe not for you, BUT i'd swap that every time for the relaxed atmosphere with authentic Italian food, and a genuinely homely service to match.

What a great night recommend it to anybody

We came here for a birthday meal. The decor is cosy and traditional and the food cooked traditionally is amazing and of the very highest quality. We started with deep fried mushrooms with garlic sauce which was excellent and a tomato bruschetta which was amazing - fresh red and yellow tomatoes with garlic. For the mains we had veal with vegetables and potatoes and a lasagna which was absolutely superb. I ordered side plate of chips - they were some of the best chips I have tasted - crunchy on the outside , fluffy on the inside. This a superb italain restaurant.

This was a great recommendation from the waitress in our hotel. Excellent sea bream & sole cooked to perfection with tasty sauces. Best meal I’ve had in ages outweighs any fish restaurant down south. Visited for my daughters birthday, both children chose Chicken Milanese, and asked for a different pasta choice. This was accommodated with no problem, my husband chose the Veal Involtini which he thought was fantastic. Service was excellent in this busy restaurant. We will return soon. O

This little restaurant is centrally located 100 metres or so from the nearest car parks and up a flight of stairs. Decor wise it's a bit bland. However, the staff are very welcoming and the food nicely presented and decent quality. I'd return quite happily.

Not impressed. If the deal we got on groupon for a main and glass of wine each was for £33 then I would feel seriously ripped off. Thankfully it was £17 which I would normally struggle with. Food was ok, service was good but the atmosphere and decor in the place was 70's Tried it for the first time but will not be back

What a night..... Was @ Da.Antonio for dinner last night, what a fantastic time we had. Food was Superb & entertainment too. The staff cannot do enough for you. Visited mid-week and the place was a bit empty. The food was good but there was a lack of atmosphere and the staff while they were efficient theywere unsmiling

Nine of us visited on Hogmanay and we were not disappointed. Everyone was very happy with their meal. The waitress explained the specials beforehand. We all had different meals and they were absolutely brilliant. Even the gluten free member was well catered for. Could not recommend this restaurant highly enough and the staff were lovely. Well done on such a busy evening.

Had a great dinner here on Christmas Eve. Was delighted that even at such a busy time of year there was a good selection of specials. The lobster ravioli was delicious. Three of our party had steak which was cooked exactly as ordered. Staff are really nice and good value for money. What’s not to like?!

Visited this gem of a place last night. Food was AMAZING! Service was first class. The owner( Antonio) hospitality was superb, wish this restaurant was in Glasgow city, although I don’t mind travelling to Hamilton for first class food & entertainment like this.Cant wait to go back. Had the seafood very nice but lacked the finishing touches like table Condiments and some crusty bread to finish the sauce but otherwise great will go back

Great family run restaurant, staff are friendly and food is always amazing. Been here on romantic dinners and been here bringing my 3 year old and 6 year old. We love it.
