Great menu selection service and price only criticism would be table sauces not to my taste.5* cafe👏

I love to go to Cyrils tearoom, the decor, atmosphere and lovely staff are a wonderful bonus to the great food options for me who is gluten free too. I love the vintage vibe with the pretty teapots and cups and the great 60s background music. I recommend this lovely cafe to everyone. It is a great place for breakfast or lunch. They do afternoon tea too. Today's build your own salad was really good I added roast potatoes as I was hungry but couldn't finish them as the salad was substantial enough . As a side note I have to say it is so nice that the place smells good. Theres no deep fat fryer which can smell strong in a cafe. I really appreciate this as I have sensory issues. Thanks to Claire and the team. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely gorgeous lunch at Cyril's Tearoom! Had the super salad - so much choice of options and such good value. I would have loved a dessert from their daily menu but I was just too full!

Great relaxed place to go for breakfast, I'm Gluten free which was easy here, I had a gluten free roll with gluten free sausages and an extra of mushrooms it was SO good. I love the vintage crockery and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. Would benefit from better extraction system when cooking - was smoky when busy. EDIT: Much better on another visit. Gained a star!

I would highly recommend this place! Fantastic tea room - such a delight to visit, very light & airy and immaculately clean. Lots of choices on the menu plus they had a full vegan menu too with lots of choices. The customer service was excellent and the food was really delicious - cannot fault anything. Lovely to see all the fresh flowers - lovely touch. Thank you for looking after us!

Lovely staff and reasonable prices. I had a cheese and ham toasty. It was really tasty. Really looking forward to going back and trying the pancakes and french toast off the new menu.

Lovely cafe , gluten free friendly for coeliac. I love the little touches, like the noughts and crosses game on each table. We actually didn't look at our phones and had a laugh playing. Food excellent .

Lovely cafe, very accommodating where allergies are concerned. The first time I have ever found a place that provides a gluten free biscuit with my coffee - made my day!

Met here with a friend for breakfast. The full English option was fresh and hot served with a generous portion of buttered wholemeal toast. First coffee was lukewarm but was readily replaced with a hotter version. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was playing 1950s/60s pop music which added to a slightly quirky (but nevertheless pleasant) ambience. A veggie option could have been included.

Great little find , lovely breakfasts and pot of fruit tea this morning , service was excellent and reasonably priced , the garden centre was a find too , healthy plants and a "gardeners" garden centre . We shall be back 😊👍

I’m a regular here however the reviews speak for themselves. The cafe ambience and decor is much improved now, it was nice before but it’s less busy looking now and just has a calming feel which i prefer. They’ve introduced a nice touch of little retro games on each table too. I cannot fault any of the waitresses, they are all so lovely, friendly and clearly hard workers. It seems as if the staff are a little family who work together and respect each other and it shows. Will continue to return.. forever! Thank you for all that you do.

Beautiful breakfast, ample food. Lovely coffee and tea served in a gorgeous teapot. Staff really helpful and accommodating- we arrived an hour before opening but staff offered to put their ovens and hot plates on so we could have breakfast. Highly recommend and would definitely go back when in the area again. Thank you

Lovely tea room. The breakfast muffin I had was really tasty and so was the full English breakfast my partner had. Service was good. It is also dog friendly which is a massive plus for me. Definitely recommend Cyril’s Tea Room.

We had a really great breakfast, nicely cooked, presentation good, service good. The only negative I would say, is portions are very generous, which I appreciate some find great, but it was too much food for me, I felt guilty leaving food, I would recommend, coffee really good by the way, service with a smile loved

Wonderful Mother’s Day afternoon tea. So much choice and very generous portions. All food was fresh and moreish. Will definitely be back to sample more delights in this quaint tearoom. Lovely friendly staff too .

Only had a latte but they came to the table to serve us, it was good serve for those who had food. Lots of lovely plants and shrubs and the prices seem very reasonable. Lots of other items for sale, garden furniture, different ornaments for the garden. Worth a visit

What a fabulous place Cyril's is, situated in the garden centre, the food was so delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the music was nostalgic and very relaxing. We will be back as it like a hidden gem.

2 standard lattes (the latte was weak and watery) and two pieces of lemon cake..£13.40!!! Yes , I knew how much it was off the menu but when I saw the size of the piece of cake put infront of me I was not happy..I felt totally ripped off!! I won't be returning .

First time but not our last. After being recommended we visited Cyril’s Tea Rooms We ordered the sandwich and cake plate, 3 tiers of beautiful put together choice of sandwiches and naughty but nice cakes The staff are so pleasant and can’t do enough to make your stay a memorable one! Can’t wait for next visit

Good home cooked food served piping hot - I had the chilli with rice which was nicely served by a very pleasant waitress.

Eclectic tea room with a vintage decor. A warm and friendly welcome greeted us. The full English breakfast may seem expensive but it did include my latte coffee. Taking that into consideration along with the hot, freshly cooked food it's good value. There was also a ginger biscuit with the coffee, a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Came in September and definitely wasn’t disappointed, had the coronation chicken jacket, the soup and club and all did not disappoint was very happy with the choice if i was to be vegetarian or vegan and the staff understood and catered to allergies! Took away cakes as well which went down a treat once we got back! Staff was amazing and friendly was nice to be welcomed with a smile. 100% will be back for more!

Well yet another visit to one of my favourite pop in’s when in the area. Hubby can not get any further than the chicken BLT, its massive. Service loverly & friendly good selection of cakes & a good selection menu.

Nice drinks with good service. The attached garden centre is the best in the area with a wide range of plants at fair prices, half of what some competitors charge.

Nice place and good food only let down by the price. Its pretty expensive, two coronation chicken sandwiches and two coffees cost £22. I move around checking tea shops and this one rates pretty well, staff are very polite and helpful but it is just too expensive which is a shame.

Friendly staff and food is fresh made to order. I did feel that it was a little over priced for the quality. Tea was quite weak even after stewing for a while. Decor is supposed to be eclectic/vintage but needs a bit of attention to makes it look more Boho and less charity shop. The garden centre is fantastic with toilets outside and easily accessible

Lovely tearoom. Had tea and scone and the scones were delicious topped with sugar and were larger than normal which was great to see. All served on real china. Well worth a visit!

Shabby chic! I loved the eclectic China. The service was a bit slow but they looked under staffed however we both enjoyed our drinks and a lovely cream tea.

Lovely lunch today at Cyril's Tearoom. The sandwiches were huge and the banana milkshake was lovely. We were too full up for cakes but will definitely pop back soon to try them as they looked delicious.

We had been in the garden center and decided to have a drink, lovely tearoom with quirky decor. We had lattes and toasted teacakes, very nice. Friendly staff and great service. Next time we will be back for the breakfast

Nic place to get a bite to eat &drink

Expensive, it was raining and water was dripping from the roof onto my food. Also had a pot of tea it was like dishwater.

Diabolical jacket potatoes was very small rock hard I had 3 folks full of potatoe very little salad was expensive when I came out I was still hungry would not recomend this place no condiments on table no one smiled

Visited on bank holiday Monday busy garden centre and cafe. Friendly welcoming staff , food coming out looked very tasty , we had a lasagne, chilli, pulled pork and a panini portions were big didn't have huge expectations for a garden centre but I was converted hats off to the chef ! If you want good local homemade food give here a go

Breakfast was great, all cooked well & tasty but a little expensive for what it was. Over £10 each for 1 x sausage, 1 x slice of bacon, 1 x egg, 1 x tomato from a tin, mushrooms, beans & toast but to be fair, it did include a drink. If it was around the £8 mark I would come back but there are much better breakfasts for the price out there. Not keen on the decor, rather than quirky it just felt a bit dated & mis-matched. Not my cup of tea but food was lovely & the cakes looked delicious. I bet they do a fab afternoon tea.
