Cyprus Mangal in City of London, Westminster

I ordered the chicken Beyti (minced chicken) which I have had many times before at other Turkish restaurants, unfortunately this one was not so tasty and did not seem fresh at all. Service was good though and nice atmosphere.

Acceptable food. Bread 🥖 was fantastic!

Very very nice discovery, only Turkish specialties. The restaurant is very nice, the decor too, the staff are attentive, and finally, the food is excellent. I had a Doner Chicken, and it was one of the best kebabs I have eaten. The accompanying rice was simply excellent. You can go to this restaurant with your eyes closed. The prices are relatively affordable, we got £20 per person for a main course. I recommend.

OMG can’t recommend this place enough🤤!! If you are a kebab lover you must try this place. Even though you are normally not a kebab fan, this place can totally change you mind as it did to me😋👏🏻! I stepped into to this restaurant by chance but oh my gosh.. so good!! I normally don’t crave kebabs but Cyprus Mangol’s kebab I sure do! 👏🏻👍🏼🙌🏻 I order Yogurtlu Adana Kofte (lamb meat ball kinda looking kebab with yogurts) everytime I go here and it always tastes amazing🥰 + massive portion Service is really good as well, very pleasant experience 👍🏼 highly highly recommend this place👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Sadly i have to agree with other reviewers. After ordering from Uber Eats we had food poisoning.

Didn't have table booked, but the personnel immediately made possible our dinner for two, by finding a good place to dine-in. Tasty food, good Anatolian wine. Everything was so good. It was a bit crowded and noisy but that's perfectly fine @ 8pm ... :)

Really lovely place serving delicious grilled goodies! Salmon, lamb, beef and chicken are on the menu, plus some other fish too. Portion sizes are really good too - well worth a visit.

It is NOT BAD. If you want to have a nice dinner with your close friend. Food was OK. But you can have much better food with these prices. I ordered “Yaprak Doner”, it was disappointing. You should prefer something else.

Was looking for a halal food spot and came across Cyprus Mangal and the whole experience was amazing. The sigara börek were very delicious, perfect amount of cheese and perfectly fried and very fresh! The bread and dips were very tasty. The mixed plate was also very very good, it was plenty of food and everything tasted amazing. Finished off the dinner with a nice traditional turkish tea, also very good. The waiters were very friendly and caring. Wanted to try the Künefe as well but we were too full 😃 Next time! I will definitely come back here when i am in London again, no one should miss this restaurant. Tesekkürler!! 😊

Great selection of food and nice friendly staff. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but the service was very quick and attentive. Great option if you like Mediterranean food, the lamb chops were excellent.

Great Turkish restaurant offering delicious food. The food is a selling point, Iskander Kebab is full of juicy meat that's worth going for, Baba Ghanoush is creamy and full of flavour with great bread. The Kisir was a little overdone on the dressing but still good. Staff were friendly and welcoming (jovial even) and the set up makes for a really charming atmosphere. It's good value, dishes aren't huge but that allows for more dishes for smaller groups. A joy to visit and worth a trip

Ordered through Uber eats, I have got ill badly. I reckon I have got E Coli. I felt like the Kofte was like a gum, very bad quality and I felt that there was something not right. You won't see me ordering again from here!

We flew from Melbourne to London, it was 9pm and we were hungry after a long flight. To our delight we came across Cyprus Mangal. It was a great experience and first impression in London with authentic and tasty Turkish food for great value. Highly recommend if you’re in the Pimlico area.

Portion size is very disappointing. I ordered Baba Ganoush Lamb Shish. The smallest portion of meat I have ever seen in from any kebab place I ever ate. I hope they go out of business soon. I mean..who is that stupid to order this again and pay 19£?

Delicious food. Really authentic flavours and dishes. Good range of options on menu and the smoky flavour from the meats cooked over open fire is delicious. Great service and nice atmosphere.

I came here for dinner by myself because I was craving a good Turkish meal. I ordered the mixed grill and it did not disappoint. It tasted delicious and the warm bread on offer was soft and tasty. The waitress and waiters were very polite and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place was calm and nice for a quick dinner. Overall it was great food for the price. Will be visiting again next time I’m in the area.

Went there for the first time last night and what a find it was. The welcome and service was fantastic and so was the food and drink options. The waiters were very attentive, polite and made us feel welcomed. The service was swift, the portions were generous and delicious and served with a smile. We had a couple of bottles of wine, a lovely meal and when the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised. No service charge automatically added but how could we not leave a tip when we were fabulously looked after. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon. Thank you

Been going to this place since it first opened. The food is great reasonably priced and good. Never had a bad meal here. Staff are great and always helpful. Decor is simple the place is not large but they do have an additional seating area downstairs. It can get very busy so would definitely book a table to save disappointment. Eat here sat 13 May 2023 with 2 freinds have never been before and were really impressed with the staff food and price. They go to a similar restaurant in greenwich but would pay aproximately £20 extra per head.

I literally just had a terrible experience dinning alone at this restaurant because of my server who was extremely inappropriate. I have been looking forward to going here to enjoy my last night in London but 20 mins into the restaurant left a really bad taste in my mouth. My server was extremely inappropriate and he did not make me feel comfortable at all. He asked me really personal questions about how much I make and how much my salary is? I told him repeatedly that it’s a personal question and I don’t want to mention my salary. However, he kept pushing and even mentioned “okay at least tell me the range of your salary because I don’t think it’s a personal question” and I kept saying I’m not comfortable answering that question. He kept saying “well then you must earn a lot then or maybe not that much- it’s okay come on tell me”…… He still wouldn’t give up and ended up telling me his salary to get me to tell mine. And to top it off called me “honey” the whole time which is extremely unprofessional. Additionally, when I mentioned to Ahmed (the other server) that my server also called me honey — he laughed and said yeah I guess he was being too friendly. My whole experience from start to finish was horrible. I did share my experience with Ahmed (the other server) and I wanted to speak to the manager. I mentioned a few times that I wanted to talk to the manager but he was too busy to address my valid concerns. They did not take my concerns seriously. I feel they were being discriminatory towards me, and not to mention how uncomfortable this whole experience was for me as a south Asian woman trying to experience solo dinning and was being mocked/laughed/picked on the whole time by my server and not taken seriously by his other colleagues despite complaining to the other server who found it funny that my original server called me “honey”. Therefore, I ended up taking the food to go because I couldn’t sit there for a second. Absolutely HORRIBLE!

Came here for our team Christmas Dinner. Great if you love meat, but still some decent dishes for vegetarians. Went for a sharing platter with a colleague. Absolutely banging food at a fair price, definitely great value. Will be back here again.

During our trip to London, on a day when we were very hungry, we stumbled upon a place and had incredibly delicious doner and lamb skewers. I highly recommend it to those seeking a beautiful and satisfying meal. The ambiance was clean, the food tasty, and the staff was attentive.

Poor service. Didn't like the kebab. Also I don't understand why a Turkish restaurant is called Cyprus, is like opening Chinese restaurant and call it Italian. Very misleading. I suggest you better educate yourself and learn your background before you try to educate others. I understand my Country is beautiful and that’s why you gave the name to your Turkish restaurant. But is very misleading to people, as it is not a Cypriot restaurant.

Thank you for a delicious Sunday lunch! It was the first time that we dined here and I felt compelled to share - the food was 10/10, just perfect, the service accommodating and the copper-coloured decor complimentary of the Restaurant’s name - Cyprus (Copper). The mains were flavoursome and juicy, cooked just right. The children’s portion sizes were good. Both the chicken and lamb döner were equally as delicious. The Special was hearty and varied. Salad was fresh, well dressed. Bread was homemade and soft; perfect for dipping. Then the desserts were as exquisite as the mains and this is rare find!!

I was looking for a last minute location for my birthday celebrations and found this location on Google. What a wonderful last minute find it was. There were about 20 of us and we all had such a great time. The food was very tasty with portions plentiful! Some of my guest took food home. Service was A+. Mohammed who was our server for the evening was very kind and informative. Drinks were great too! My birthday lunch was at 3pm and myself and my guest left at about 7:30pm. So wasn’t rushed to eat and clear that table at all. As a large party we were seated in the basement. We felt catered to with all of our needs met. Towards the end of our mains Mohammed put on music for myself and my guests to enjoy which only upped the celebration vibe. Myself and my guests really enjoyed ourselves and will be going back. Great kebab spot with great service and good hours! One of the few spots open for a snack on Christmas Day. You can watch them cook your meat or halloumi on their charcoal pit.

A perfect place for lovers of grilled meat straight from the Bosphorus. The place is cozy, divided into a restaurant part and a take-away area. There was a constant traffic in the restaurant, which clearly means something. The service in typical Turkish style: nice, helpful, but also discreet and not intrusive. The meat was well seasoned, there was a noticeable aroma of a wood-fired grill and parsley. Good, fresh ayran. Icli kofte hit the point. My date companion, a seafood expert, speaks highly of the calamari. Everything was spot-on. Highly recommended.

Alles war sehr lecker, sehr schön angerichtet, mit viel Salat serviert, ergänzt um eine Knoblauchsoße und eine scharfe Soße. Beilagen Reis bzw. Pommes. Getränke absolut ok. Ein gelungener Abend.
