Found the whole dinning experience great, staff attentive & restaurant very well presented. Had the lunch menu which was good value

I’ve been to this restaurant many times over the years , it’s a go to place when we’re looking for a nicer upmarket experience and food, however, on visiting this time we were met with average service and poor food. 4 of us attended and the food verdict from the 4 was okay at best to really poor. One main dish ordered was the tuna which was requested rare but was way over cooked. I ordered the Jacob’s Ladder but was so tough , rubbery and tasteless I was really disappointed. Sadly won’t be returning .

Where are all the italians? Poor service as had to remind them of our drinks order once or twice, food was ok but not worth anything like the price they were charging. Friday night and was empty bar our table and one other. Clearly something has changed here recently. Won't bother going back.

As regulars of this restaurant, and numerous good Sunday lunches here, we booked for a Saturday night. The waiter came to clear our starter plates away, but only took 3 & left the other 3 in front of us. We sat there for sometime whilst trying to get the attention of one of the staff as we wanted to order more drinks & the remaining plates taken away. We were seated on the round table in the window, so felt we were slightly out of sight. Eventually I had to get up to ask a waitress to remove the plates & ask to order some more drinks. 2 of us ordered Monkfish Saganaki for our main meal, which at £27.50 was not a cheap dish. Whilst my friend had a nice tidy pile of rice with his fish, my plate looked like someone had thrown the rice on with their hands. The fish was dry, grey & overcooked. It certainly had not been marinated in any of the sauce, but a dollop just thrown on the top of the fish. I have attached a picture. We called the waitress over who agreed it looked terrible & went to get the Maitre D. His response was “it looks ok to me”. He didn’t offer to remove the dish or offer an alternative - he was totally oblivious to the standard of food being served up which was under par & extremely disappointing. Only one person out of 6 was happy with their meal last night. There were numerous other problems with the evening too, but will make this review far too long if I list them all! Unfortunately we will definitely not be using this restaurant any time soon which is a shame as we’ve had some great times, but the standard has slipped drastically.

So we went here as a group to celebrate a birthday and it was lovely. Only issue it they popped a pretty large service charge on which we didn’t notice until we got home and they didn’t tell us either 🥲

Pleased to have been seated at a round table for a group dinner with girlfriends. Good range of options for all courses on the menu, we shared starters, enjoyed main courses and finished the evening with liquor coffees. Staff were attentive, but not annoyingly so. Wine was good. Would definitely go back!

I have come to cyprianis for years. It’s nice to have somewhere local to go at the weekend. I also love the Cyprianis in locksbottom. It was so disappointing having arrived at 8.30 to feel at 9.45 that we were being rushed. By 10.10pm the lights were on even though other people were dining. We were gone by 10.25! Most local restaurants are welcoming until 11pm. A real disappointment to a night out that we had been really looking forward to!

Such a friendly place. The food was as good as my Greek and Cypriot friends cook at home.

Friendly, efficient staff. Croquettes very tasty! Calves liver was excellent. Portion sizes quite large. Nice atmosphere and it was apparent that several people eat there frequently which is a good sign. Would recommend and we would eat thee again if in the area.

We’ve been here a few times before and thought we’d give it another go. My friend was persuaded to try the special wagyu steak (at £55) so he did. Our food came and the other three of us enjoyed it but the wagyu was terrible. No one came to see how the food was. At the end, a different waiter to the lady we had took our plates away. I decided to raise our concerns and was told we should have told them when we first got the food. If the lady who was serving us had taken out plates away, she would’ve known he ate barely none of it. We were offered a round of drinks a a gesture of goodwill which frankly isn’t good enough. I wanted to pursue it further but he didn’t. We won’t be going again after this experience - you’d expect better at £85 per head.

Pan fried fish was over cooked and the potatoes had a freezer taste to them (hard to describe but if you know you know). Would expect better for the price! Also off putting hearing the microwave ping a few times

The four of us skipped the starter and so we just ordered our main meals. However, after waiting well over an hour, I approached one of the waiters to find out if there was a problem. Eventually our meals arrived, but oh dear, what a disappointment. My skate wing was small - and together with a few diced potatoes and some spinach, it looked more like a starter. Hence I ate my meal slowly, otherwise if I had eaten this fish dish at my normal pace, I would have finished it in a very short space of time. My friend said his pork was mostly fatty and my wife told me her lamb was warmish, but certainly not hot. The evening was also spoilt by several people at a table close by being extremely loud and very noisy, so much so, that conversation was to put it mildly extremely difficult. We eventually paid our bill, which we negotiated downwards. The manager was very sorry that we had a very disappointing meal and expressed his apologies. Nevertheless, although we consider ourselves regular customers of Cyprianis, we will not be in a hurry to return.

Came for a family meal everything was delicious and great service

Have had a couple of visits of Cyprianis and honestly can say this place is all about service. Exceptional, attentive even in their busiest times and friendly. When it comes to vegetarian choice I have to say menu is very limited for a fussy eater like myself. Previously have tried their pasta and risotto, but this time around have asked it something can be cooked specialty for me. And yes I wasn't disappointed- had spaghetti with vegetables. Had pear with ice cream and my other half had tiramisu for desert, both lovely. Always visit for our romantic dinners, has that special feel.

We were a last minute booking. The food was lovely, but the service!! Oh boy the service was out of this world! Abdul was the nicest, funniest waiter I have ever met. We will definitely return. And I hope Abdul and the manager enjoyed their cake!

Very poor Sunday roasts all cold. Told waiter and he took meals away then within 5 minutes returned with roasts still cold! Restaurant was not even busy so not sure how they could get this so wrong Presentation poor, service poor so very disappointed . Management seriously need to sort this place out

Went there for a birthday celebration dinner with my family and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner celebration. The staff even provided a small complimentary birthday cake and wished my daughter in law happy birthday. Food and service was brilliant. We are planning to return soon for another birthday celebration.

We had the most wonderful time with the kindest most welcoming staff. The food was 1st class, so fresh and very tasty. My only suggestion would be a little more choice for vegetarians. The wild mushroom risotto was delicious and we look forward to returning soon.

We had lunch. Cyprianis has long been one of our favourites. Today the food was good-as it always is- and the service was exceptional-as it usually is. A great place to go for lunch and dinner.

Booked a table as been here before and it was very nice, however I went here a few days ago and the service was horrendous, as we sat down we were told what time we had leave! Waited for a while before we got a menu then eventually got to order, starter was ok, the main dish we had to ask on at least 4 occasions for more dips as the portion supplied was beyond mean, a desert spoon at best! Had to ask twice for ketchup, again took ages to arrive! Once we finished our main we sat with dirty plates for a while before they were taken away. 20 mins later we had still not been offered a desert menu or asked if we wanted more drinks, we then had to ask twice for the bill! Service was the worst I have had in years, as we left we explained that we were made to feel unwelcome for our entire time - I was then spoken to by who I assume was a manager who said they would call to see what they could do, guess what!! No phone call! I used to like eating here but I won’t be going back! As I said worst service I’ve had in years, if you want to feel like a valued customer I’d book elsewhere

We live in Blackheath and travel to our favourite restaurant Cyprianis in Petts Wood. This speaks for itself. The food is excellent. Cooking is superb. My favourite is the calves liver. The ray wings are good. In fact everything is perfect there. The staff are lovely and very efficient. The wines are good. I love the Gavi chilled to perfection. The restaurant has a wonderful temperature - just right. Never too cold n winter or too hot in summer. Tables are well spaced out so no eavesdropping. The seats are comfortable. You are not rushed. We usually stay there about 3 hours!! It is so welcoming.

Was a good place. Last visit was empty, the plate size was tiny and price too high. After being a regular for 8 years I'll give them a year before I try again. Hopefully they'll realize why people are staying away and adjust. Would be a shame to see them disappear but highly likely

Went Tuesday night with friends, I had the lamb shank absolutely amazing. Definitely will be returning.

The service and ambiance are great for a local night out after a hard week at work. Sea bass was lovely - food overall good.

Havent been here for a while but what a lovely time we had - lovely round table for the family of 7 - my 89 year old Mum was helped by a lovely young lady who helped to the toilet, and waited for her and reseated her - attentive staff- nothing too much trouble - and the food very very good. Will be back for sure :)

We visited Cypriani's to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was just the most perfect evening. Excellent service, very friendly and welcoming staff, and a lovely buzzy atmosphere. I had the fish platter and my husband had the tuna steak, all perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I can highly recommend Cypriani's; we didn't feel rushed, it was certainly not ridiculously overpriced, and we will most definitely be returning.

Cyprianis is our favourite local restaurant. We have been going there for years. Sadly this visit was disappointing mainly due to the service. The staff were unprofessional and in experienced. Also a member of staff walking round chewing gum.

The menu at Cyprianis was outstanding, such a selection! The Padron Peppers were very tasty and the portion was big enough for two people to share. My Seafood Risotto was over-flowing with clams, mussels and squid.

Just had a meal with a friend who recommended this restaurant and she was right it was amazing, food excellent and staff so lovely especially Rachel she was great and I can’t wait to go back not only for the food but to see her again lovely warm welcome great service . The pasta was so good and a a delicious tiramisu. They made my birthday dinner very special .

The quality of the cooking is incredible.mYou would think that cooking meat or Fish should be easy, but the amount of times i have had overcooked chicken or lamb is rediculous. The food was cooked to PERFECTION and the staff were sooooo friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend Cyprianis to anyone who loves meat and fish that is cooked to perfection.

We had a table of 11 on a Friday evening with a full house and the service was excellent. It had a very nice buzzy atmosphere and the food was great. We all had a good drink and the price was very reasonable.

Nice decor, calm environment, and beautifully prepared and presented food. What cold be better? Went for Wednesday's Steak night, I had the fillet which was absolute perfection. Followed up a week later with the mid-week set menu, again the food was cooked to perfection.

We visited on a Wednesday evening. Made very welcome and given choice of tables. Shown selection of menus and informative responses given to our questions about the detail of the food. Quality of all three courses & house wine very good.

My Sister & I took our Mum & Dad out for the first time since the Pandemic for a meal to celebrate their 62nd Wedding Anniversary. The staff treated my elderly parents with such warmth & care. They were patient & understanding with their needs on a busy Saturday night. The food & service were first class. I can recommend the Sea Bass & my Brother in Law had an awesome steak. The cocktails are awesome! We all had a great time & we will be back.

Cyprianis never disappoints. Whether it's a date night or meeting up with friends, you can be sure of good food, attentive service and a reasonable bill. If you're tempted by the sharing meat platter, you'd better be hungry!

Lovely restaurant staff very helpful and friendly. Food was very good although very meagre portions. Set lunch menu so we had starter & main which was not very filling but very good. Wine was good however very expensive therefore a bit of a shock when the bill arrived. Overall a lovely restaurant worth a visit just be prepared for the bill at the end.

Went out with friends and had a brilliant evening. Staff very attentive and had a very lively atmosphere. I chose the prawns with spaghetti and tomatoes and was very disappointed. There was just a few tomatoes and hardly any sauce, and because of that it was dry and uninteresting.

Can't fault it. Had some excellent live music. Great food and good service. Well done!

I booked a table with two friends on 'Steak Night' (Wednesdays) and ordered from the set menu. The starter was a bowl of Tomato Soup served with no bread and was very average. The main course was a Ribeye Steak which was inedible, fatty, chewy and most of it stayed on the plate. The worst steak I have ever been served in a restaurant. The dessert was clearly microwaved to serve warm and entirely forgettable. With a glass of wine the meal came to £43, other than the wine a complete waste of money. In addition the young lady that served us was rude and generally unhelpful. I have been to Cyprianis before and it has been very good so perhaps this was just an ' 'off steak night' but it will be a long time before I go back.

I ordered the monkfish and clam risotto for my main course, it was so salty I had to send it back. When they sent out a second one it was just as salty so I sent it back again. The waiter said very good and apologized. There were two managers who knew the situation and didn’t speak to me at all. I will not be returning

Lovely food. There were 6 of us and we ordered several dishes and shared family style. Our tour guide recommended this restaurant to us.

Really well executed risottos and my son had the smoke chicken tagliatelle which was also delicious. Prosecco whilst a bit pricey per glass (same as central London pricing) it was a good Prosecco though! Friendly staff, quick turnaround of food. Would be great if there’s tiramisu on offer for dessert… ha. But we will definitely be back!
