We had a great evening meal at Cyprianis. The food was fabulous and the service was great. The staff could not do more to assist us. Look forward to returning soon.

Cyprianus, Locksbottom is a great restaurant. The menu is varied with a few unusual dishes. A good wine list and wine by the glass. The staff are helpful and friendly. Only issue was that one starter was totally missed. However, rectified with apologies and taken off the bill. So all good. Very busy and therefore some noise, but it was only people noise so fine. Well worth a visit,

Took my grandson for a birthday celebration. Busy Friday night but service was still good, food very good, price very reasonable. Would go there again but probably not a Friday night as it was busy and loud.

Staff accommodated us when I made a mistake in the booking. Our waiter was helpful and lovely. A really lovely evening was had by all

Food was very good. The noise was a little high, difficult to have a conversation with our friends.

Visited with family never been here before we couldn’t get into the restaurant we wanted.Boy I’m so glad we didn’t all of us said food was delicious. Soup was best I’ve ever had, my husband said the scallops were also best he’s had. Calamari was excellent. I ordered kleftiko other family members got their mains while I waited asked where my main was they said it’s coming when it arrived it was not what I ordered but Jacobs ladder. It was delicious I told waitress and another staff member came over and apologised said he’d take it off bill. We all said food was fantastic although service was a bit slow. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

Yet again had a lovely meal. The halibut was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Went for Wednesday lunch with a friend. We had the set menu which was very good value and the food was lovely. We particularly liked the bread and butter pudding. Serving staff were polite and looked after us well. Would recommend this venue.

So embarrassing- visited this restaurant with friends, I rang beforehand as I have an allergy, on the phone really helpful, don’t worry , when you come in, let them know and they will adjust the cooking, it’s not a problem for us at all. Great- no! Arrived were seated and we had a lovely server who hadn’t been there long, so spoke with a man who turns out is the manager, I explained my allergy and asked what was in the pasta, he went to find out, but disappeared to the front of the restaurant, 10 mins - nothing, server came to take our order, I explained, she went to the pass and asked the chefs, who refused to answer her, I asked for the manager, was told he is not here, but will be back, 5 mins later 1st man came back, I asked about the pasta- he denied speaking to me! He got very shrugged and short with me, I was tearful by now and people were staring. Quick word with our friends and we left!!!!never been treated like that before. By the way went to British Queen had a lovely experience, with no pre planning, couldn’t have been more helpful even marked a menu up with what I could have What a difference in 2 restaurants!!.

Met up with two dear friends for Sunday lunch which was absolutely super, great value for money. Great stuff thoroughly enjoyed. It will definitely be coming back again

This elegant restaurant owned by well known local restauranteur Nick C is an absolute delight it is next door to his equally good restaurant called the Fish Club and close to his exceptional Deli and Butchers shop wonderful whole ribs of aged beef are on display. Cypriani's serves Mediterranean food we ate superb Mushroom Risotto and Buratta followed by an excellent lamb and chicken Souvlaki perfectly cooked with very tender meat. A good cocktail list, we drank whisky sours followed by Tignanello 2013 quite delicious; poached peaches and chocolate brownies to follow. the service was faultless. This is a restaurant that gets very busy at night so best to book to avoid disappointment. Well worth a visit.

Cyprianus in Locksbottom is now a great restaurant. It is alot friendlier than it was some time ago. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The set menu is very good value and the al la carte choice is very good. Some round tables which is great. Well worth a visit.

Christmas Lunch. Food and service excellent. Expensive, but then it’s Christmas Day. Food was well presented and very tasty.

Cyprianus in Locksbottom is a nice restaurant. The a la carte menu has a great choice and the set menu, both two and three courses is good. the wine list is fine and a reasonable choice of wine by the glass. Friendly staff, though abit slow to get going.

Excellent rack of lamb, cooked to perfection. Very nice service. Good selection of food and wines. First visit and will definitely return.

So starting with the positives, the food was pretty good, however we felt that our meal was very rushed- no sooner had we finished our starters, when our mains appeared- I am the slow eater of the family and once the majority had finished eating the staff starting clearing our plates away- I felt compelled to put down my knife and fork and let them take mine too! very disappointing- we booked out table for 6pm and were home by 7:20pm- we expected to be there until at least 8pm! We won’t be returning!

Visited with friends . Service and staff very polite and attentive…..but food not great. Starters and desert nice but pretty average but mains awful. 3 steaks ordered, all cooked incorrectly and two swimming in water on the plates. ! Were sent back but steak not replaced,just reheated and plates dried! We were told water was from the mushrooms but after steak been sitting in it for a while would have expected new steaks to be given. On return, still not acceptable and then obviously overcooked. So only a few chips and mushrooms eaten. Management did agree to remove the steaks from the final bill but unfortunately we went home hungry and probably wont visit again.

It took them ages to come for us to order. I ordered a salad Nicoise they brought me a salad with a tinned tuna on top of it ! The other party ordered some calves liver which was awful - smelled and tasted off. We left our food uneaten - the waiter asked us if we were ok with our food - I tried to complete my sentence of why we have not eaten our food and he walked away - without a response! They have charged us 12.5% on the bill discretionary service for all these !!! Please avoid this restaurant!

Great new find for our Anniversary dinner. Will certainly be returning , not just for date nights.

Nothing was too much for the staff. We had several generations of family from 13 years to a 71 year old. Everybody enjoyed the food, service and some enjoyed the wine a little too much. Thank you! Would definitely recommend x

The sunday lunch set menu is good value. Good choices in the 3 categories. Portions were a good size for me as I dont like too much on the plate. We had a bit of a wait before our orders were taken but that was my only complaint

We had the sharing fish platter and it was fantastic. 4 different types of fish with fries and salad. The starter and desert were also really good and the portion sizes were great, so we left comfortably full.

We have eaten here many times as it is local to us. The food is excellent, staff very friendly. I would recommend it as a place to eat for special occasions or family meals or dining out with friends.

Lovely set menu lunch, with good wine. I did prefer the ambience of the original Cypriana next door.

We arrived on Time my husband salivating for the Roast Rib of Beef he’d seen on the web ad only to find it was a bar-bQue Sunday which wasn’t ready yet..? He turned to the menu which appeared to be meat- less turned out page missing ? He ordered Pasta a smaller version it turned out he not being a devotee his face was withdrawn I was fine a G&T plate of Pasta Glass of wine £126 He recovered game to go again ( the Beef)!

Our 2nd visit over the last few months and we had another excellent meal. We had such great fish last time that we were a little worried that it might not be as good, how wrong we were. The meal was excellent and the wine perfect.

Wonderful local place for a bite to eat! We are very lucky to have this on our doorstep!

Have been to Cyprianis many times but was very disappointed with the Sunday lunch, the minute amount of vegetables was soggy and not hot . And very overpriced.

Whatever you order the food is delicious, well presented and hot. Staff friendly and helpful and the ambience is just right so you don't have to shout to hear what your friends/family are saying. Ideal place for a meal that is something a little special or for a celebration.

My first visit and I was very impressed. We ate off the a la carte menu and the food was excellent and competitively priced. Service was also very good. I will definitely return and recommend to others.

Attentive staff, good service and delicious food.

The food was very good but the portions are a bit small for the price point and it was extremely noisy. We took my 90 year old mother, and she could not hear anything we said at the dinner table as there were noisy people at the table next to us each side. We did have some issues with the service, but the food itself was very good. Two of our starters didn’t show up and were eventually comped on the bill, Main courses were all good, my rack of lamb was delicious and cooked perfectly and we had a selection of ice cream/sorbets and a plum pudding for dessert that were all excellent. Also, a young lady who cleared the table did not speak much English and misunderstood that my mother wanted to take her meal home with her and threw my knife and fork on top of the food, luckily we are family, so I just removed the knife and fork and said “ take home!” She was very apologetic. To make it up to us the very nice lady, with blonde hair who runs the restaurant gave us a complimentary desert drink. So there were some issues, and parking is tight in the high street, but the food itself is high-quality.

A very pleasant experience. Will visit again sometime.

My main complaint is the noise level in the restaurant. Food and service v good but hard to have a conversation.

The service and Quality of food are excellent value and 5 star restaurant located in Locksbottom. Very reccomendable . You need to book early as this restaurant is very popular too.

1st time visiting and would definitely return, special offer set menus were available but we chose from main menu, overall happy with price service and quality of food

Great food and excellent service. We had a really good time!

Wasn't particularly busy, however the manager decided to have a staff meeting. Left with one waiter who struggled. Baby's wandering around with gormless parents walking behind them. Staff (when they returned to work )with food and drinks, along with customers having to avoid colliding with unstable toddlers on the steps. Management oblivious to it. Salt pots didn't work, was pointed out where the waiter replied they were all like that. Had some great meals and times previous, but this was the worst experience we have had in a restaurant for some time. Shame, but its gone down hill.

Took friends we hadn't seen for a long time for Saturday lunch and they were very impressed as we always are.

A few of the starters were bland i.e. Goats cheese salad (not a salad by the way). The Dover Sole special was meagre in size, over cooked and finished to the point of being crispy(!) and the taste was insipid. Pasta sizes were large but again flavourless. So much promise, failed to deliver.

Another highly enjoyable lunch in this excellent local restaurant.

Me and my partner dined here last night for a valentines meal. The restaurant was understandably very busy, but there were plenty of staff members. We received our drinks, starters and mains all in good time. All of which were lovely, lacking in portion size, but very tasteful. Once we had our mains we were forgotten about. We waited 35 minutes for our desserts, and being seated near the kitchen, we overheard several times the chef saying he didn’t have orders. Ours being one of them. Considering it was a set menu and all 3 course orders were taken at the beginning I don’t quite understand how you can not have numerous tables orders. We only had 1 drink ordered at the beginning of our meal and otherwise sat with empty glasses on the table for the remaining 55 minutes of our meal. By this time the restaurant was quieter (one of the waitresses was stood briefly eating chips by the kitchen). But not once were we asked if we wanted another drink. Had we not both wanted to leave so badly and get home we would have taken our service charge off the bill. Not sure id return in a hurry….

The restaurant has a nice vibe and seems to be popular with groups of people celebrating. The menu whilst quite extensive is pretty basic Mediterranean with a few more exquisite offerings like lobster. No problem with that as long as the dishes are executed well which sadly they were not. Part of our meal consisted of a bread basket parts of the bread were toasted to the point of being burned. The chilli squid was overcooked and rubbery. Obviously it has chilli in it but who wants large pieces of sliced red chilli that just burn your mouth and ruin the dish? I opted for the kleftiko. Not the most tender I've ever had. The accompanying sauce was bland and contributed nothing to the dish. It came with mash (ok) and a tiny smattering of peas that were overcooked and hard. Just lazy really. With a bit more effort on the sauce and an additional vegetable on top or correctly cooked peas could have been a nice dish. Couldn't fault the service which was friendly and efficient.

Hot food served on cold plates! But the food was very good.

As a group of three, we visited for dinner. There was a fine range of food and wine available and the quality was very good indeed. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the service was excellent.

Food was good but let down by the service. Only after asking where our mains were after all other tables who arrived after us having finished theirs, were we told the chef lost our ticket and therefore was yet to make it. Our problem was we didn’t even get an apology. Not great.

Would recommend. Great Value for money based on the menu du jour. Food and prooortions just right. Hardworking, friendly waiter. Cafe del Mar music set the scene nicely. House Merlot did the job and Lychee cocktail was on the money. If I had any criticism I would say decor was a bit naf and parking wasn't great though Sainsbury 2hr parking served us well.

Here for my husband’s birthday and definitely didn’t disappoint. Lovely meal, food brilliant and service attentive and friendly. Good wine list and reasonably priced. Will definitely return soon.

I booked a table for two via the booking portal and the booking was accepted and confirmed. I took a taxi to the restaurant at the appointed time, only to find it was shut for the day. I therefore had no dining experience at Cyprianis that day.

We use this restaurant to meet friends as it is approximately equidistant between our two homes. The food was fairly average as was the welcome and service from the staff. I currently have a hip problem which limits my movement and so my wife left before me to bring the car closer to the restaurant. I was struggling to get my coat on as I needed to use a chair for support. This must have been very obvious and yet the waiter walked straight past me without making any offer to help. The restaurant was not busy at the time. This is an example of their customer care!!

Sorry to say the extremely loud music, which we’d not been warned about, ruined our evening as we were unable to hold a conversation. Food & staff still very good, but unbearable Xmas tunes drove us home early.

Fantastic place. Best Prawns you can ever eat. If had a downside would be that gratuity is included in the bill, but I would have tipped anyways so not the biggest problem. Will go again 😊

Good food and great value Lovely red Italian wine

We picked a very busy day so was a tad louder than one would prefer, but, service and ambience was good. Cost-wise, reasonable. Parking can be tricky but overall a very good destination to eat.

Fantastic food but the noise generated by 3 young ladies at the next table made it impossible for me and my 3 dining companions to have a conversation.
