Cafe not busy but waited ages for someone to take order. Again waited ages for order. This should have been a fish finger sandwich served with 'crushed peas', chips & salad. Unfortunately was presented with a brioche roll, not a sandwich! The loose, not crushed, peas were presented in a cracked dish (bacteria can lurk in the crack). The fish fingers were not typical fish fingers but 3 baby round fingers with a tiny slice of fish surrounded by batter. Sadly left most of the meal. Felt that for £9.95 the meal was poor standard. Chips were nice though. Sorry Cwtch Corner but being very honest here. Perhaps I am too picky but was disappointed. As I was really looking forward to crunching into 'Mr Birdseye' type traditional fish fingers in two slices of bread.

Lovely cafe. Coffee is some of the best I've tasted and the food I had, breakfast panning was lovely. I highly recommend if your in the area

Great little shop. Really collective atmosphere. Decor is unique and definitely is worth going to for a cup of coffee/tea and a small bite to eat. I had breakfast here and also have had a lunch here. Staff are welcoming and super friendly. Prices are great aswell.

We had a grazing buffet done for a baby shower and it was unbelievable. The food was incredible and the way the food was presented was second to none. Highly highly recommend!

Had a lovely afternoon tea for a friends birthday, the food was fresh, varied and absolutely stunning. The vegan option provided was excellent. Thoroughly recommend, lush cafe & lovely staff.

Mediocre Tuesday morning eggs royal Was pleasantly surprised at the decor of this quaint little cafe went for a solo breakfast experience started with a milky coffee that wasn’t milky it was a coffee made with water and a dash of milk instead of coffe milky and finished in the microwave to get that gorgeous skin on top the eggs royal i specifically asked for poached eggs that were soft without any slimy bits the eggs had slimy snobby bits in which is a mega no no for me other than that it was mediocre for 8 quid small tiny amount of smoked salmon the sauce was spot on only wish they had took my wishes in to consideration and actually listened to what I asked for

The day before christmas eve I felt faint and and paid £15 for my dinner and trinckets . I asked to borrow a fork so I could eat my dinner take away in the car and bring the fork back to them as I parked next to cafe. They told me no.I could not borrow a fork to est my lunch that I had paid for at christmas time. I really think there is more to life than money unkind . It is not much to ask to borrow a fork and bring it back. It is not much to ask for someone to be kind at christmas. Where is community kindness 😭it is so sad to be treated so coldly 😭

We had the best Festive Afternoon Tea yesterday in Cwtch Corner. I was treating some friends and we had a lovely savory choice and wonderful sweet choice. Lovely service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Attended a Christmas cream tea with a superb elf and a super funny Santa. Food, service and the atmosphere were spot on. I have 2 teens and traditionally, we always have a Christmas event and they both loved it. Suitable for all ages, even us 'oldies'..

A lovely little corner of Wales found on the Costa Blanca. Beers and teas/coffees as well as sausage rolls and pies and cakes to die for. An absolute find.

A hidden gem, my first time in clydach and was so impressed. The cafe felt very cosy and it's obvious a lot of effort has gine into decorating. I had a cwtch bach breakfast and thought it was very reasonable. The sausages felt good quality and tasty and as were the eggs. The selection of cakes was also very impressive and looked gorgeous. Also pleasing to see a good amount of vegan and vegetarian options.

We just had a lovely meal there. Two adults, two children. Excellent value and quality. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They even fitted us in to see the magical Santa in his lovely grotto.

Lovely breakfast and shelter from the rain. The staff were pleasant and there was a good selection of homeware souvenir type bits for sale too.

Stopped by Cwtch Corner today on my way past for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how warm and friendly both the staff and the cafe were. Coffee was decent, though service was a little slow considering the place wasn't very busy. Overall though, I enjoyed my trip and would recommend it to anyone for the atmosphere!

Yes very comfortable sitting outdoors in the extreme heat. Food very tasty at a very reasonable price. The staff were happy even though busy and could not have been more helpful. I would say that Clydach which has a lovely little town is blessed to have Cwtch Corner. Our group were very pleased that we called in yesterday.

Good food, good atmosphere, happy, pleasant, friendly staff. A little small and need to reserve a table at busy times, but well worth a visit. We will go again.

Looking to move to Wales and came across Cwtch Corner. What a brilliant place. Loved everything, such friendly& helpful staff. Bought a few of the craft items for sale. Thrilled with our experience. Hopefully this may become our 'local'.

Food was lovely when it arrived, took a while for our food to come, the youngster serving and taking orders was rude and got the orders wrong, she has had to been told before, disappointed with service atmosphere not a lot of indoor seating.

Cwtch Corner provided the graze table buffet for my daughters 30th birthday last night (28 th January) which we had at The Overdraft in Clydach, the buffet was amazing everyone commented how lovely rhe food was and it was all set out ready at the venue when I got there and the table.looked beautiful and the lady was so helpful. I thought the quality and price of the food was reasonable and would highly recommend we were all very pleased

Been here a good few times, always a nice visit however we visited on 21/6/22 to be served by a waitress with Blonde hair, quite young who was quite unenthusiastic to serve us, made ordering difficult by not communicating and a poor, blunt attitude. Apart from that, lovely food.

Had a lovely afternoon tea,with lovely company. Lovely tea room,extra nic knacks to purchase also. Presentation of the tea was really lovely. Found it quite expensive for the quantity we had.

Lovely little cafe, very friendly. Great place to stop for refreshment if you're walking along the canal path. We sat in the outside area with our dog, who loved the sausages we were able to order for him.

I ordered Butternut squash soup. Whilst the kids chose beans on toast, buttered toast and a h sandwich with squash juice. The food was ok, reception felt slightly cold and to the point. I wasn't sure if they came to us or I went to their counter to order and I tried to catch someone's eye to order some cake after but they were using their phones a lot and chatting to eachother so I decided to leave it.

We ways love a trip to Cwtch corner, very friendly and accommodating staff. Sat inside for some breakfast, enjoyed my scrambled egg on brown toast. Coff was delicious which is why I had two cups 😁

We visited this lovely cafe today with my daughter who has several allergies. The staff and chef were so helpful and could make pretty much everything on the menu without diary, soya or coconut! Its so rare to find somewhere that genuinely caters for allergy sufferers. I can't recommend enough and it was so lovely to sit and have brunch in a local cafe together without worrying about food for my daughter.

Food was lovely for a quick stop off one lunchtime. No room inside as it was busy so sat outside as it was an OK day weather wise. Eventually a young lady did come to take our order after I went to ask could I order. The coffee, food all served promptly. So great food and coffee. Just a shame when I came to pay, she wanted to charge me £8.25 more than my bill😢 I pointed this out to her and was charged £13...with no I'm sorry for the mistake. I returned to my outside seat, to total the exact meals we had to find my correct bill should have been £12.50. Her 50p tip is please don't try to over charge customers anymore please. 😞

Had a lovely afternoon tea delivered to myself and 3 sisters yesterday to mark my mother's 1 year passing. My mother used to make amazing sunday teatime spreads for us when we were small so as we couldn't be together due to covid I thought this would be a lovely way for us all to share a very special memory together. And Cwtch Corner helped to make it special for us. It was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend as does my sisters ❤👌

Took my boy here for lunch today. The track & trace via NHS app was super easy with the QR code on display and hand sanitiser on tap, with distanced seating - I felt Covid safe! ;) The decor and atmosphere were nice and cosy. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the food was great! My son enjoyed the kids sandwich with crisps and a side of deliciously chunky chips. I had the tasty vegan curry - healthy and good for the environment! ;) And don't forget the drinks. I had a lovely pot of tea and my boy had the deluxe hot chocolate, which he thoroughly enjoyed! ;) All in all, 2 very satisfied customers - I'll be going back! :)

On our family holidays July 2019 by coincidence we ended up in:Cwtch Corner , Clydach, what a lovely and friendly cafe, we had a fantastic British breakfast,  and the warm and friendly service was all inclusive.  I can honestly say this cafe is definitely well worth a visit,  value for money and the typical loving friendliness that we got to odour during our holidays all over Wales.

Didn't get what I asked for and the bread roll was dry and horrible.

Popped in for my break. Served quickly, lovely food and a pot of tea with at least 4 cups in it all for £5. Will definitely visit again. Menu has plenty of choice of savoury and sweet.

Had tuna/mayo baguette, coffee and Oreo cheesecake. Grand daughter had tuna/ mayo jacket potato and diet coke. Pleasant surroundings, comfy seats. No long wait, reasonable prices. Nice side salad too. But cheesecake (home made) was absolutely lush !! Shall return.
