Been living in West Bridgford for years and only went to Cuzina for the first time today. We normally like fine dining but as we were a big group (9) and left it to the last minute, everywhere that was our first choice was fully booked. I was so impressed by Cuzina! Although the location isn’t the prettiest, the restaurant was clean and beautiful and surprisingly big - something you wouldn’t expect when you look at it from the outside. The food was delicious - nothing like I expected. I thought it would be like a turkish or Indian restaurant. It was nothing like it. We ordered a big variety from the menu as there were so many of us, and I can honestly say, everyone enjoyed their food. The meat was succulent (we ordered a combination of lamb and chicken dishes), and the other dishes were so tasty. We all left compliments for the chef. The service was amazing too. Well done to them! We’re definitely going to go again, and would highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean food in an elegant environment. Very happy!

The food was good but I do love a gyros and it seems a shame they aren’t on offer on a Saturday after 5pm. A couple of the dishes - the bacon wrapped halloumi and the sweet chilli chicken sounded interesting but weren’t great. The best dishes were arguably the vegetarians the Fava and the stuffed veg. We seemed to have been put into a cold corner, even though we had booked, and the staff didn’t really offer any solution.

Really great authentic Greek food in a stunning setting. Friendly staff.

Visiting family in the UK, thanks to their local knowledge it was off to Cuzina for dinner. A well patronised establishment, Cuzina was humming. Just about packed to the rafter, as one table vacated it was quickly filled. The food was very good, but extremely pricey given that it was all sharing plates (to use modern lingo) that never seem to go far enough to feed the table. I know sharing plates are popular, however, I honestly don't like them for main meals. I also don't feel they're particularly appropriate hygiene wise in this Covid world we live in.

Like many restaurants these days Cuzina has gone for the Tapas style format. Restaurants employ this trick to increase their margins. That is, they can get away with charging more for serving less. I didn't have a starter which is generally Pitta and Dips, These starters are serving a vital role though - to stuff you up on bread. I had 3 main course options which when added together came to almost 30 quid. If they'd combined all 3 dishes an put them on one plate nobody in their right mind would pay 30 quid for it. No complaints about the food itself but the pair of us were in and out in an hour, £75 down and still hungry. It is somewhat rushed and you eat at the pace of the convenience of the kitchen. I notice other couples were also in and out within an hour. Personally I'm rather tired of these Tapas tricks borrowed from Spain but applied to alternative food cultures. I know in Greece there is a Meze culture which lends itself to Tapas style food. Cuzina has taken the Spanish Tapas concept, delivered Greek style food with a classic British style rip off. Not a good night out for couples. You'll end the night in front of the telly with a bag of chips before 10pm.

Fantastic food but too fast. The service prevented me giving this more stars as it was just too fast and we actually felt we were being rushed. We were told the starters would come out first but the dishes starting coming out 5 mins later whilst we were still eating our starters. Staff approached us every 5-10mins to take our plates away but, after the 4/5th time, we had to tell them to leave us for a bit as we wanted to finish our food. Our waiter tipped a dirty plate over two of us in his haste to clear away. We were asked if we wanted to order a dessert before the kitchen closed at 10:00pm. We chose and 10mins later, at 9:45 gave him our order, to be told the kitchen had closed! Note: if you visit during winter, make sure you’re sat at the back of the restaurant otherwise it’s freezing!

Incredible food, and a lovely atmosphere

After going to Greece numerous times the food tasted as good here as it did in Greece. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Great restaurant service was good food was tasty I had the dips to share and the sliced steak and a Greek salad my wife had the dips with a gluten free pitta bread and a pork kebab style pork .the food did come out all together . A good experience well done to the staff.

Very quiet (but it was Sunday early evening). Service was great, good advice given to us for how many "little plates" would be suitable per person. The food was delicious, and they arrived at a good pace (leave the kitchen as they are ready). Lovely meal, will go again

Amstel £5.6 those are further prices. Ng1 doesn't even consider pricing a sting at that rate. All the food plain and again over priced! Wouldn't send a friend to Cuzina. Good luck to this restaurant, it's going to need it!

We chose this to be a little out of the centre and did not expect what we came upon The atmosphere was buzzing - really busy but this did not seem to phase tge staff The menu was brilliantly varied with great prices and fresh well served food . We didnt have to wait too ling before a delicious greek salad and our selection of dishes started arriving at the table and in no time we were stuffed !!! What a fabulous place - we will definitely be returning !

Amazing food, brilliant service. What a gem of a find! Stopped to use the local EV charging station and grab some food. Everything we ordered was delicious; the pittas were the best I’ve ever eaten and nothing was too much trouble for our server. If only we lived nearer!

Absolutely amazing value for money, super helpful staff and delicious food. We had the set menu and were so impressed by the amount of food we were served. They are also fantastic with allergies and catered for my dairy allergy with no problems. 10/10!

Positive - food was tasty. Negative - service. Our waiter seemed impatient while we were reading the menu and tried to choose what to eat. When we asked about some of the options, he couldn’t explain what was in the meal. When I asked which meals would go with each other, he said it is up to me what I order and not being able to assist with explaining some of the meals.

This should have been a 4 starr review as the food and service were good. The problem was that it was freezing. We asked for the heating to be turned up but the waiter said he’d have to ask his boss but they wouldn’t turn it up. We heard 2 other tables ask to turn the heating up but they received the same response. It was very surreal looking around and almost every person was wearing their overcoat as it was too cold not too. It was very uncomfortable. I understand that the cost of energy is high, but Cuzina are deterring customers and making an evening night out very unpleasant. It is the ideal venue if you like Wim Hof style cold therapy. There are other, nicer, more accessible and definitely warmer restaurants in West Bridgford so thank you, but we won’t be returning.

A beautiful meal, lovely staff. Struggled to find our favourite dish, everything was so nice. Cooked to perfection, prawns Octopus and chilli chicken all amazing. So many staff all bribing guided by I suspect the owner to ensure everyone had what they needed. Will definitely be returning.

Firstly, the place had a great atmosphere. It was buzzing (even early in the evening) and had great decor. It was in a prime location as we went straight to the cricket afterwards. The service was quick and polite, however we felt rushed in bott ordering and receiving the bill in order to free the table up, less than an hour for all 3 courses. It felt very much “fast-food” vibes. The food was good however when considering value for money, there are better options locally. The wine selection was excellent so cannot complain at all in that sense. Overall, a good tasty meal however portion sizes were relatively small for the cost.

4 of us with different requirements [vegetarian, etc] all agreed we had delicious meals. I recommend the lamb. Friendly and helpful staff. Very busy but no long waits.

First time visiting on Friday night, couldn’t fault the place at all. The food was amazing with an array of amazing flavours! The staff are friendly and efficient. Definitely the best place for Greek cuisine and quite possibly one of the best places to eat in Nottingham!

We were going to Colwick hotel for weekend so I googled restaurants near by and Cuzina popped up. We went there for lunch. Very welcoming. Menu was good. They have good vegetarian selection ( I am only vegetarian in my family). We were little worried as didn't read any reviews beforehand. But to our luck, food was delicious. All of us thoroughly enjoyed. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just excellent. As a Greek of the diaspora having lived in many cities around Europe, I can say it is rare to find a Greek place with food tasting this authentic. Got a few dishes for takeaway, the souvlaki is as good as it gets, really, and the quality of the rest of the food was top notch aswell, still licking my fingers... the tirokafteri was also superb, made there I'm sure, not prefabricated like so many other places serve, even in Greece.

Best pork souvlaki I have ever had in life! I was shocked when putting it in my mouth! It’s crispy outside but soft and very juicy inside with a lot of flavor. Pita bread and grilled halloumi were just on point! We also ordered paidakia (lamb chops) and the octopus, the portion of the octopus is quite small but the taste were amazing! Fabulous food atmosphere and service

Had my 1st but definitely not my last experience of Cuzina last night . A group of 9 of us on a works Xmas do, greeted at the door by lots of friendly faces and shown to our table . Drinks order taken strait away...

Lovely space, friendly service and reasonable price. Initially we thought thatbthe tapas approach would mean small portions but actually they were a reasonable size. In fact, it was strangely one of the reasons why we only rated it 4* because the waiters convinced us to overorder. The place was full and we were also a little uncomfortable with the proximity of the tables and waiters. We would have preferred waiters to wear masks. We wanted to try it for Greek food and had a variety of options. The Greek salad could have done with more olives and a little more seasoning. The squid was tender and lovely taste. The sweet and sour chicken was very well done, glazing lovely and the sauce was surprisingly good to be mopped up by the pita bread. The lamp was a little bland. But without doubt the highlight was the gyros. Well served, filling and afterwards we saw who the regulars were: they shared a Greek salad and had a gyros each. Only suggestion: a little more tzatziki sauce which was lovely, to permeate the entire gyros. All in all, a very good and reasonable priced evening that would have been even cheaper if we had not ordered so much food (we did take away but it's not the same warming up the food).

Whilst visiting family down in Nottingham we was told this restaurant was a must visit! We were definitely not disappointed! We all had the Meze, which is various small dishes off the menu! Fantastic, well cooked, tasty, generous portions! Staff were very attentive and friendly! 100% will visit again when I'm back down! Well done guys 👏👏

Family run eatery with amazing food and service!

For me the best greek restaurant around. Unfortunatelly they stopped serving the greek salad in artesian bread. And the lamb kleftiko was a bit different as well than last time. But overall its a very good place to eat. The staff is very good as well.

waited at the door for 5 minutes, no acknowledgement, rubbish service. DO NOT ORDER KLEFTIKO, this is a traditional greek dish that should be cooked in a parcel in parchment paper, instead i got a rack of lamb which was full of fat. The only thing they got right was the glass of water and pint i ordered. go down the road to EVAS bar and grill ....when they asked if everything was ok with my food etc and service , i told them and they just shrugged

The food is nice, however, halal is not part of the cuisine it represents and don't understand why there is not at least non-halal option for those who do support halal animal slaughtering and do not follow the Islamic law.

I use to be a regular of this place when it was Papas. It was changed then to cuzina after a brief spell. The food at papas was second to none and very traditional Greek. We visited on Saturday, table booked approx 8pm. Restaurant was busy, very very noisy you couldn’t have a conversation with the person you were with or hearing any waiting staff. The whole experience was rushed. We had several dishes including desert and all was over and done with in just under 1 hour. We felt as though we where rushed to eat and leave. Also a little over price for the quality of food and it’s offerings. Disappointed that our return was like this.

I saw this restaurant on instagram, the food looked gorgeous, so I was really pleased when I realised it wasn't too far from where I lived. it was really nice to have something other than the usual takeaway. Portions were really good, the food was honestly gorgeous and my 9 year old ate everything (a first)! Very reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be ordering again!
