Curry Inn in South Holland

I have to say the food is fantastic and as a result they are always busy. Definitely book if your plannibg on eating in and definitely order over the phone if your wanting a takeaway! Still good food!

Service fantastic, food not to my taste but not bad, very busy when we went

The food was very tasty and well cooked. The staff are pleasant and obliging, service was efficient. The only downside was no lights in toilets, presumed they would activate, but didn’t. Although the radiators were on, it was quite chilly in there. We would perhaps return when the weather improves and hope that the lights are working then. All in all a good experience.

Best in the area, including Spalding! Great prices and friendly service. They also have a fantastic bar choice.

Overall, this was a lovely meal (last night). All of the staff we interacted with were super-friendly and welcoming. I can see why they would have loyal customers on this alone. The food was reasonably priced and overall very nice… Just not the best compared to some other Indian restaurants I’ve been to. The decor is in need of an update - the chairs all look like they were taken from a skip and the paint spills over from walls onto the plug sockets and windows. There are lights missing from parts of the ceiling. However, this doesn’t lessen the charm of the place - these are good, hard-working people who put out good food and good service. Everyone was also offered a free shot of Baileys on departure from the meal.

Small portions and lamb curry tough

Recently moved to the area so was happy to find this gem on our doorstep. Used the place a few times for a takeaway and pleasantly surprised. Good authentic curries at a budget price. If the place maintains these standards I'm sure we will use the Curry Inn exclusively for our Indian food.

Went for the first time after living nearby for 2 years and LOVED it! Super friendly staff, good prices and great food! My partner was spoiled for choice and could not settle on a dish so asked the waiter for recommendation, who recommended the chicken tawa and it was amazing! Will be back soon!

Couldn't rate this place higher. We come regularly and are always treated like royalty. The personal touch of knowing us by name (and wine order!) never goes unnoticed. We simply wouldn't go anywhere else. Keep up the amazing work guys, you're the reason we come back every time (the great food helps!). Mr & Mrs Cook. Best curry EVER! Fact! Just a shame it’s miles away but a good reason to visit the family

Total waste of money. The lamb was so tough it was inedible, the mango was stringy and the bits of chicken swam in so much sauce it needed water wings. The only decent thing was the naan but it proved an expensive supper, one we won't repeat.

Nice meal Service was slow (Saturday night ) Was a bit of a carry on staff didn’t really listen and we was getting other people’s food .

Lots of choice on menu, staff friendly and service was good. Only downside in my opinion is that the dishes have too much sauce, Tuesday nights they offer buffet menu so if on a budget this is good VFM

Chosen as a last minute place for a curry in a Friday night. I think it’s an old pub (the clue is in the name anyway) but they’ve got a decent set up with plenty of tables. The menu is very extensive and we found the prices to be competitive (not overly cheap but not eye watering expensive either). The food was very tasty - probably one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in the area albeit we’re not blessed with tons of choice. The chef “specials” seemed to cater for all tastes and had a good variety of spice. It was pleasing to report that despite the rural location, it was quite busy with probably two-thirds of the restaurant occupied. In fact, I couldn’t get parked in the car-park at all. I would guess this means patrons have travelled there specifically for a meal which is encouraging. The service was a bit hit and miss. Took ages for our initial drinks order to arrive and the Coca Cola was fairly flat. But this didn’t detract from the evening and I anticipate a further visit in the months to come.

Was top class, haven't had such a good Indian in years. Very pleased we found this and will visit again when we are in the area.

We had a nice meal their. However the furniture looked like a put me kit together from auctioned furniture. The management are very accommodating and polite. Will go again. Just need to find the time

Friendly atmosphere, we only called in for a takeaway but will be going back soon for a stay in meal. The owner was chatty and friendly.

The online order was simple, only two stars given for atmosphere as I was the only person present apart from the staff. Slightly disappointed with the food, the chicken tikka Madras was plesent but the sauce was like tomato soup with a peppery taste and not a very large portion, only filling half the foil dish. However my wife had the Mango chicken and really enjoyed it. Will try again at some point.

Food was some of the best we have had in a long while, we eat out regularly, often Indian restaurants and this was our favourite, had a sit down meal and a takeaway, such a shame we was only visiting the area, but will most certainly be back, waiters were so friendly, good sense of humour and attentive

Recently moved to the area after years in London. This curry house could go head to head with the best in London and do very well for itself. Incredible flavours, fast service and friendly staff. Thank you for bringing a bit of happiness during lockdown - update may 2022 - ate in for the first time, with my parents. Did not disappoint! Still great food, with very friendly and efficient staff to boot

So this was the first experience of a curry house for our 3 children and they weren't disappointed. I ordered different starters for us to share and we all ordered a different main. Some home favourites and some new experiences. Not disappointed with any of it. Five dined and we had five clean plates. We had to wait quite a while to order dessert but as they were busy and we were in no rush we didn't mind but the apology was nice and we look forward to going again on a less busy night. In fact I think it's a contender for Birthday dinner.

Been going here for years and have to say the food and service is as good as I have ever had. Just recently redecorated during the COVID restrictions, during which I was collecting takeaway. Look forward to my visits here and never disappointed.

We dont eat out much anyway, and rarely get a takeaway of any description, but having visited the Inn a few times we knew where we would get decent return to 'normal' meal from, and there is no dissapointment from us. Perfect lamb jalfrazi for me, a perfect lamb biryani for the wife. All the usuals added too, made for a beautiful takeaway, worth the 10 mile journey to bring it home.

The food at Curry Inn is top draw. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal. Everything is piping hot and tastes devine. If you enjoy a good curry you will not be disappointed here.

Group of 9 of us visited we was met with our usual welcome and as always food was spot on, staff in general are great but please allow us to finish our food before rushing to grab the plates as it makes you feel rushed this is the trait of one waiter all the other staff are spot on and we are always happy to recommend the curry inn

Bit worried going here food and hygiene rating 1 from council October 2019 it’s never very busy now and people have stooped coming here because of this rating

We visited this restaurant as we have just moved to the area and wanted to find out what our "local" was like. It was great!! Excellent food and friendly service and lots of vegetarian choices. True - it could benefit from a lick of paint but that didn't detract from our enjoyment. We'll be returning.

6 of us went here and we had lovely food, just a pity 1 of the waiters seemed to be constantly texting on his mobile phone, however, another waiter was very attentive. I enjoyed the zero alcohol cobra lager to accompany the food, and the pickles tray was a hit with everyone. I would definitely return.

We rung up last minute to see if any spaces. When we said it was my birthday he said we will find you a table and they made us very welcome the service, food everything was fantastic we really enjoyed the food is wasn't greasy or over powering spice wise will definitely be going again for a curry.

Third visit and third time unlucky, first the good, we had one good curry and the rest OK, I never understand why side dishes are so expensive and so small, we had onion bajhis three the size of a golf ball and refried, the oil was on the plate. Come on there was two of us why three not four Two each. Its only onions and chickpea flour. £3.50 for that. Garlic nan with no garlic or hot butter on it and undercooked, food was warm in cheap wilko crockery, no hot plate and no authentic curry bowls.As there were only y 4 people in there why was the food warm it should have been piping hot.My beer was just cold and where did they get the wine glasses from they were like thimbles. We go for curries at least once a week here and in Spain, the curry Inn has the monopoly in the area as there are no other cuury places in the area so maybe they should up there game it needs refurbishment and give value for money. We will go back to see if it has improved come on guys three bajhis!!!!

Went for a meal on early on a Thursday evening. Walked in and the entrance is very dirty. Floor covered in dirt and walls scuffed. Chairs are all ripped and look like they have been there since the place opened. Had a balti and a jalfrezi and they were nothing special. The guy in there couldn't wait to take our plates away even though we were still chewing our last mouthfuls of food! Definitely not the best in the area!! Won't rush back.

Staff are so friendly and the food is so good. Takeaway and restaurant meals. So friendly when you’re picking up a takeaway and friendly but not pestering you when serving your food in the restaurant. Food as always was delicious. The peshwari naan is so good. Plus, cobra beer on tap.

We went here on a Tuesday evening to take advantage of their Tuesday offer of starter, main, rice and shared side for £10.95 which was a good deal. The place itself is nice and reasonably clean. Chairs were worn. We went at opening just after 5pm and another couple were there. It remained very quiet whilst we were there but it was early. We had poppadoms to start which came with the usual dips and accompaniments and I couldn’t fault them, standard Indian really.I ordered a reshmi kebab starter which came with side salad. The side salad was room temperature and sadly the reshmi kebab meat was pretty lacking in any flavour. For a main I had a chicken bhuna and special rice. The special rice had frozen peas in it that were the really cheap supermarket variety that tasted dry when you ate them. It was quite off putting. The rest of the rice dish lacked any flavour too.The bhuna, advertised as a medium heat dish, was really disappointing. It looked as it should but again, no heat and a real lack of flavour. Very disappointing. As a side we had aloo gobi which actually had more flavour than my main and also a peshwari nan which was tasty but on the small side for a proper Indian restaurant.Drinkwise, a Thatchers Gold was spot on.My girlfriend had chicken chat with mushroom rice which she said was very nice indeed. Her review has scored better than mine so evens mine out perhaps! I’d go here again and order differently for a second chance but I’ve definitely had better than this visit.

Came to the curry inn tonight with my boyfriend - didn’t realise it was special menu night! You get a starter, main, side dish (to share) and a rice or naan for £10.95 which I think for a village curry restaurant is incredibly good value for money. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food I ordered was delicious - I had chicken chat, chicken korahi, mushroom rice. We shared an aloo gobi and ordered an extra peshwari naan. We will be visiting again!

The Curry Inn in Quadring in my opinion is the best by far. The staff allway give you a very warm welcome. The food is absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend to all to come and try. Well done chaps 10 out of 10..

I like to visit Curry Inn when I am in the area. I was there for a quick trip to catch up with everyone for Christmas, so I asked my neighbours to join me as a Thank you for being such wonderful people.

On a friend's recommendation we visited early on a Saturday night. The place was busy with a few tables of guests and take aways. Friendly staff showed us to a nicely appointed table in a surprisingly spacious room, not expected from the unassuming exterior. The food arrived swiftly despite a steady flow of take away customers. Indeed, the hour or so spent there saw a steady stream of "in" and "out" clientele. The quality of the food, especially the blended tastes of the sauces, was amazing, back to the proper taste of indian curry of old!

11 of us ate here last night and again was not disappointed. Consistently good food as always and great service. Will be back again for sure

We visited here tonight for the first time. We'll definitely be back! The service and the food were fabulous and the staff were so very friendly. The Tuesday night offer was great. Looking forward to using our meerkat meals deal another night.

We don't use the Curry Inn that often, but it has always been good. We've had a few takeaways but prefer to eat in. They always offer good service and make children welcome. 5pm opening is a bonus for parents too, the Tuesday night deal is very good value too, you won't be hungry.

Just moved to the area and thought we would try our nearest Indian Takeaway. On AA route planner we are 4.1miles away and their website says will deliver within 5miles.

Came here with friends and family for hubby's birthday meal and we were not disappointed. From the delicious poppadoms to the aromatic starters and beyond. Delicious food throughout. We weren't rushed and felt like we had to leave once our meal was over. We were allowed to sit and drink resulting In us ultimately ordering dessert. A great treat for us all. Highly recommend this friendly restaurant for authentic Indian food

Amazing food and varied menu at very reasonable prices. The service and the staff were wonderful. We were looking for a semi-decent Indian restaurant to try when staying up North for a few days and instead found this absolute gem! Ended up eating there twice because we loved it so much and would definitely become regulars if we lived closer than 160 miles!

This is the best Indian for miles around if not the UK. Never had a bad meal, staff are so friendly and the food tastes amazing. Deal on Tuesday is great value. I won't go anywhere else now and you always compare the food to the curry inns!

Not had a bad meal yet. Recent visit table next door wasn't happy with one of their choices of food staff did everything they could to help her with the menu and get her sorted. Perfect for date nights.

Estado aquí varias veces con amigos y siempre recibirá una cálida bienvenida de todo el personal, la comida siempre es fresca y muy sabrosa con la opción de modificarlo platos para satisfacer sus propios gustos. Sí, no le vendría mal una mano de pintura, pero esto no impidió el buen servicio y comida caliente y sabrosa. Nunca tuvimos que esperar mucho y nunca prisa para terminar, el mejor curry en la zona.

Quadring's Indian restaurant, blink when you drive past and you will miss it! In fact people who are not from these parts while driving through this quaint village probably don't even know that this is a separate village from the one they have just driven through! Anyway, back to the job in hand; The Curry Inn very aptly named is a former Pub converted into an Indian restaurant not really somewhere I would go for a special occasion or even for a regular night out, purely because it is slightly dated and in need of a spruce up, which shows a little disinterest from management. However, Fyzal the manager great guy looks after you very well, price wise it is very competitive and good value for money and finally the most important thing -the food, generally good I'd be more inclined to have a take away.

Lovely place to eat have been going here since it's been opened, normally come here for family meals and every time the staff have helped out with everything we needed, 100% recommend

We live down the road from the Curry Inn and often get take always. Good is always lovely, staff friendly.

First bad meal I thought was a once off, poor service and semi warm food. Second visit I put down to it being 8pm on New Years Eve and busy but service again appalling and cutlery dirty. Third and final trip Sealed the deal, half way through eating I had to run to the toilet. My companions told me my chicken was undercooked and when it was mentioned the staff became really aggressive. I had to go home and was sick all night, never going back again. I hate to give a bad review but this place is appallingly bad both in terms of their cooking and service.

You can't beat the curry inn for the food and friendly faces! Always happy to help and I have never had anything less that perfect food!

The food here is amazing! Full of flavour exactly what you want from a good curry. The walls could do with a lick of paint but this is only a very minor issue. The takeout is just as good. Would highly recommend.

I was here for 2 days on the trot, once with our neighbours & the next night for a birthday meal, I had a lovely meal both times, with lovely company both times, 1st night my husband was with me the birthday meal he wasn't, he had to stay on & work late

Just got back from this lovely restaurant. Had a wonderful meal with my nephew and his girlfriend visiting from Brazil. She had never had an Indian before and loved it. Waiters were very attentive and food arrived quickly. We had an assortment of dishes but everything arrived quickly and it was all very tasty. An added bonus was that on Tuesday they do a special offer at just £9.95 a head for a starter a main rice or nan and a side. Great value for money. Will definitely be going again.
