Dreadful. Waiter rude. Disruptive customers. Felt unwell for 24 hours after eating there. Would not return.

Poor service, have to wait ages for the food and when it does come it’s not even hot. Not impressed.

Cannot say strongly enough do not go. Waiter rude - lacked respect and didn’t support people on the next table who got abused for wearing a Star of David so in my opinion support clientele being abused. Disappointed as used to go regularly now won’t be going again. Shame on them!

Rude staff and people commented because we were Jewish and the staff laughed and supported them. This is the first and last time we will go there

The food was good but the staff noticed that we were Jewish and started abusing us. I would not advise anyone to enter this racist establishment.

Apart from the hygiene which was well below par I would rather have had a microwave meal obviously not authentic but food made out of a jar and warmed up

Recently went back to this restaurant, which has reopened with new ownership. Liked it before but didn’t find it special. Food was fantastic this time and loved it. As good a curry as I’ve ever had. So good we got a takeaway two nights later. Just as good and all the dishes were superb. Whole family enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

I would not even give one star to this restaurant but had to as there was option as “no star” . We ordered the mini non veg platter n chilli paneer tikka and what we got was some left over pieces in a corner of the box with thrown over pieces of vegges….poorly presented and not worth the money. The tadka daal was a joke…just mashed, cold and where was the tadka not a single seasoning bit was there….What a waste if our hard earned £42 on this restaurant. Stop making fool with what you show n what you serve.

The restaurant was shut for a few months this spring. I was told they needed to rewire the kitchen electrical system. Really missed their food. Now they are back open and it’s better than ever. We’ve eaten inside once or twice in the past. We usually get takeaway. Great samosas. Perfect Tandoori chicken. Fresh sides and vegetables. Love the bhindi baji. Rice is done correctly. Not dried out like other places. We almost always order the jalfrezi curry. Spiced with the right amount of zing. 8.5 out of 10. Best in the area.

We have been regulars for many years but new owners took some time ago and my wife and I feel the food and service are better than ever ! Great value too !

I ordered through JustEat for a delivery on London Gateway Services Lorry park, i provided all the details, position of the truck, licence number, colour, everything and after over 1h i receive a phone call saying they can’t deliver to London Gateway Services because the route the driver has to take is too long. They did not deliver my food saying that the post code was wrong, but there is no other postcode available for London gateway services, but they did not even bother reading all the details i’ve provided for the delivery and let me waiting 1h and 30 min and then they told me they will not deliver my food! Outrageous!

Been going to the Curry Centre for nearly 40 years. Had the most awful meal on Tuesday. Had to send my starter back as the chicken was raw and when they made a new one it was burnt and overcooked. Took 1 hour for starters and nearly the same amount of time for the main course. Only 3 other people in the restaurant during the whole time and the staff totally ignored us throughout our time there. We eat in this restaurant at monthy basis. It is not because of Wednesday night or Sunday night special. Simply ,the food is delicious , the staff are friendly and helpful.

The service was excellent, the food was fresh and light (not heavy handed with the oil) but lacked flavour and was not up to my liking...it taste a little bland. I will try this restaurant one more time and try the seafood dishes etc as I’m uncertain as it stands

second time here, three years after the first visit. still polite and prompt service, and excellent quality food, I think this is one of the better options available in the edgware/burnt oak/colindale vicinity. I love this place, I go two or three times a month. I have always had very good food here and the staff are lovely too.

Why surprising you may ask? I would not expect an Indian restaurant in Edgware to be so amazing. Food quality, menu choice and service all help make this a place to visit, especially if you're a fussy eater, and love spicy Asian food!

At least once a week i eat in the curry centre or order a take away, indian food is done really well, it has a home cooked taste, but is fine dining quality - always well presented, love the goan curry, the vindaloo and the onion bhajis, if you looking for an indian in edgware this is your place - really nice and friendly family that run the place

This has become our regular Indian restaurant in the area. We have been dining at this restaurant for years and have always had the perfect meal on each visit. Staff are very good and offer the best possible service. Food is a 10/10. Highly recommended.

Booked via Just Eat at 7 pm received the food at 9.30 pm on a Sunday night. Unacceptable. Rude staff when called the restaurant and attempted to understand where the delivery was - do not book.

Their Sunday set menu is great value and allowed us to have everything we were after anyway.

Having moved to the area for a short time while our house is being renovated, we were eager to find a good local curry house for our regular Friday evening meal. Being regulars at our local and well known to all the staff we are wary of all others. This place came highly recommended and we were not disappointing. Firstly it is set back in a side street just off Edgware High St. and initial appearance is nothing special, in fact I had walked past almost daily and not noticed it. However once across the threshold , this small family run establishment shone. The food was excellent and tasty, the staff clearly do everything to please their customers, I explained I liked my curries quite hot but hated the use of chilli powder as it ruined the flavour. The curry I had was superb, very flavoursome and good size portions, we all went away delighted. Last week we ordered a takeaway due to the hot weather, we wanted to sit in our garden, The food here was equally as good and I look forward to next Friday for my next venture into their menu.

I had never eaten here before. Ordered a takeaway quite late in the evening around 10pm for my partner, my mum and I which cost me £50! Needless to say I could of got another takeaway for us that would have cost us half the price but by the time we'd ordered over the phone as just eat said the restaurant was closed, it was getting late we were really hungry didn't want pizza or anything like that. I just thought for that kind of money the food must be excellent. Wrong. The amount of food they give you for the price they are charging is an absolute joke! Whilst the flavours were good there was hardly anything in the containers...the place where I would usually order a chilli paneer honestly serve 4 times as much for the one portion than I got from here. The 'complimentary' salad they gave came in plastic bags so I wasn't going to eat that..flavours decent and popodoms were nice but all in all a waste of money I will never order from here again.

We took my father and children here on a Sunday afternoon. The staff are so friendly and polite, and the food is absolutely delicious. There is a set menu with starter, main, rice, naan and side dish for only £11.25 which really enabled us to control our costs. They happily made dishes mild at our request. Nothing was too much trouble.

I have been a loyal customer to Curry Centre Edgware for several years, and always looked forward to eating here. However last week the entire takeout meal was put into the garbage! For the reason I just could not eat any of it! The meat was truly tough and disgusting taste. The breads were also inedible! I cannot fathom how suddenly the quality has reduced to the point of my feeling too frightened to eat my food - I was scared considering the bad taste my stomach would get sick! So I am never eating here again. I'm actually too disappointed.

I like a restaurant that has a good hygiene rating and this couldn’t be better with a score of 5. A clean modern looking restaurant. Not only that though the food was excellent, with lovely flavours.

This must now surely be the best Indian Cuisine Restaurant in NW London. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated inside with bright colours. Tables have linen tablecloths and linen serviettes. The staff are charming and attentive and can't do enough for you. This is before I get to the food! 2 of us had vegetarian mixed starters and 2 had mixed meat starters. I had a chicken patia with lemon rice, my wife had the house mixed grill with garlic rice and we shared a cauliflower bhaji and chick peas & spinach vegetable dish each. I had a cheese naan (never seen that before) and my wife a garlic naan. Our friends had chicken korma & rice and house mixed grill with prawns & rice both sharing different vegetable side dishes and a naan each. All 4 of us agreed that the entire meal was superb and very, very tasty. Now the even better part, this was the Curry Centre Sunday Banquet special and the entire meal was £11.50 per person. Incredible value for such a wonderful meal. If I could award 10 stars rather than the maximum 5, I would. Strongly recommend this restaurant even when the special price isn't on.

My friend and I visited the family run Curry Centre fur the first time and were pleasantly surprised. Fresh, tasty and good quality food with very attentive staff. We will definitely be returning.

El único inconveniente es que se ha vuelto tan popular que ahora tienen que asegurarse de que reserve antes de ir, ya que hemos sido incapaces de conseguir una mesa un par de veces debido a su popularidad. We went for dinner as a group of friends and ordered a variation of curries. Most of us are vegetarian and there was plenty of options for vegetarians. Having read the previous reviews I was a little hesitant in going but we had a wonderful experience. The staff were really friendly and approachable. They even made some jokes! The curries are of generous portions and taste lovely. The food comes pretty quickly too and is not expensive. We will be back!

I was an adamant evangelizer of this restaurant. The lunch deal has a really good cost benefit, despite the service is slow. For the quality I'm willing to wait. But yesterday I went and despite ordering as usual, I was charged full price instead the lunch deal. That will be the last time I go or order from this restaurant. I can cope with service issues, but not with dishonesty. I hope the gentleman that used to be in front of the restaurant returns, before the place is ruined completely.

The waiters are so polite and everything is just perfect, I cannot fault this place one bit. Only criticism is the name, before I went I didn't think Curry Centre sounded appealing but I was wrong. The welcome at this establishment was very friendly - which I and my wife expected as other family members were regulars diners.We were efficiently seated and service was first class without being intrusive. All dishes ordered were very good value for money and they did not skimp on the portions.It was unusual for a Curry house to have banter with the staff which added to the experience.When next in Edgware we will be returning guests.

Cosy restaurant, very clean and food is so tasty.. good portions too! We had chicken chat and chicken tikka for starters, tikka were really soft and juicy. Bill was £69 between 4 of us which is reasonable for London price.

Such a fantastic deal at the weekends, starter, main, side, rice and nan, lots of food! I went with a large group of friends, about 15 of us, and this wasn't a problem. The food was great, and the staff friendly and efficient. We are a fussy bunch and no one was complaining, a rarity!

I went with my female friend for a last minute meal in edgware . We were unsure what to have. I checked in TripAdvisor apps. We decided to try at curry centre. We ordered the special biriyani , chicken korma, banned bread and other type of bread. The verdict: tasty, not salty , not oily, good portion, friendly atmosphere.

Service was good. We took take away as family wanted to eat in at home.Really poor veg dishes. We ordered veg jalferazi, mushroom bhaji, veg biryani. None of these were any good.No spices tasteless food. Maybe good for non-veg dishes. But we are not going back to this place again.

We came here for dinner and hadn't been there for many years. Place was empty and we got a warm welcome from the staff. You wouldn't be encouraged to go in if you were just walking by. The decor is very stark, white, clinical looking almost. And inside it lacks ambience - but that may be different if there were more (any!) people in there.It's a shame as the food was delicious. Prawn Puri and fish for starters followed by chicken madras and lamb chops tandoori. Really tasty and fresh with 4 great side dishes. With a bottle of red it came to £56 excluding service. Good value for really delicious food (and I'm not a huge Indian food fan).

I have now eaten at the Curry Centre in Edgware 5 times. Sunday buffet, Friday night, Saturday night and now Thursday lunch. I've had different dishes every time and EVERY dish is fantastic and tastes different and cooked perfectly. The weekday lunch deal is £5.95 for vegetarian starters, main course + rice or naan or £6.95 for the meat option. I had the vegetarian mixed starters & lamb bhuna with lemon rice. Superb. Owner Hassan is personable, friendly & runs an excellent establishment. This is a family business & it gives it a special atmosphere. We will continue coming here again & again.

As always, the curry centre have dished up a super tasty and light curry. Not oily and salty like some places. The food looks and taste fresh. The restaurant is super clean and the staff courteous and friendly. I also always buy my takeaway from here too. I would recommend for sure.

Paid £9.95 for Chicken curry; nan;lamb pakora and rice. Very very disappointed with the very small quantity and quality of chicken curry; although the nan was nice; bitter lamb pakoras; standard rice quality. I would never visit this restaurant again.

I had the set lunch menu which offered a good choice of dishes and seemed good value at £6.85. You get a starter and main course with either rice or nan. I couldn't fault the food but the portions were rather small. The lamb rogon seemed to contain more tomato than lamb.

It's the best Indian food I've ever came across, and I've tried many restaurants in London.The food is Amazing and reasonably priced. I've been to places where it was too spicy or too sweet, but in my opinion in this place they got it just right.The staff are very polite and make you feel very comfortable.I've been going there for two years and was never disappointed. On our most recent visit to London (16th and 17th July) we stayed over in a B&B in Edgware. After a long day travelling and visiting the RAF Museum in Hendon nosh was foremost in our minds so we parked up in the Sainsbury's car park in Edgware and wandered along Station Road looking for somewhere to eat. We found the Curry Centre tucked away just off Station Road and were instantly drawn to it. When we went in we were quickly shown to a table and plied with drinks and popadoms. We didn't have long to wait until our starters arrived. The starter was impressive enough and the main course did not disappoint us, portion size, flavours and textures were spot-on. What more could I say, the service was very friendly and the premesis clean and tidy. If you enjoy Indian quisine and are in the Edgware area I'd certainly recommend a visit to the "Curry Centre", I'd certainly bob-in the next time I'm down that way.

Beautiful food attentive service and after we had eaten we asked if they could deliver to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore where our son was staying for a couple of weeks. They were more than happy to and thus many happy teenagers shared sundry Indian delights on the subsequent Saturday nights. Thank you.

We have been looking for a new local Indian as so many have closed in our area in the last 2 years. We chose this place following mostly good reviews here and we were not disappointed. A warm reception on arrival and very comfortable seating. Ali, the manager, was helpful and made our choices easy. The food arrived exactly as ordered and was generally nice and hot. Chicken tikka was well cooked and with the addition of a good vindaloo sauce was terrific. Great friendly service, I think we have found a new home for Indian food.

Thought would try somewhere new and local. Ordered take away at 6.30 told would be delivered "within the hour". At 7.30 called to check on status as no food arrived and was told it was on the way. At 7.50 called again as still no food and was told, very nonchalantly, that the delivery driver had delivered it to the wrong house and asked us to wait another 30 minutes. Zero concern for the customer and zero concern that they took our money and gave our food to someone else. Will never order or go there again as they obviously they care so little about customers.

We went to Wembley for the championship playoff finals.We were staying in Edgware at The Premier Inn and wandered down the high street after the match.We found this restaurant and were so glad we did.The food was delicious and the service was excellent.We were served by such a polite man and the whole atmosphere was sooo welcoming.It was also so reasonably priced.We would definitely go again if we were in the area.

We are regular customers at curry centre now. We are going there almost every week.The food is delicious, one of the best for far. Great is you come on Wednesdays and Sundays as they do special meal deals on those days.

Our first ever visit here for a 'Sunday Banquet'. This deal comprises starters, main course, a vegetable side dish, naan & rice - all for a staggering £10.50 and it was superb. I had the vegetarian platter, followed by Chicken Tikka & Cauliflower Bhaji, my wife had Chicken shashlick with Sag Chana and instead of the rice they allowed us another side dish which was mushroom Bhaji. All the different dishes had their own tasty distinct taste. Properly laid tables & linen serviettes added to the classy ambiance of this little treasure in Edgware. The service was exceptional & we will not hesitate to dine here again.

Great venue for meeting up with our disabled friend in a care home nearby. The staff couldn't do enough to help us inside with the wheelchair (level access through a door wide enough) and move chairs around to get the wheelchair up to the table comfortably. We opted for the set menu, excellent value at £6.95 per person. This included a starter, a main and a side. Huge choice of all 3 items, served attractively by attentive staff. They were also helpful in describing dishes if necessary. Most of all, the food was delicious, piping hot where it should be. My only concern was the 5 of us being the only customers, perhaps not surprisingly for a Tuesday lunchtime. We're not local but would happily revisit when in Edgware again.

Had dinner here today with my family. They gave a great deal every Sunday. £10.50 for the Banquet. For this you get, a starter, main course, side dish, rice and Nan bread.The food is fantastic, the service great and overall a very pleasant experience. I have lived in this area for several years and I have always meant to go to this restaurant, I finally did and really enjoyed it. As others have said the food taste really fresh and the service was very courteous. It is now on our restaurant list and will be definitely going back.

Found this very nice curry house whilst staying at the Premier Inn Edgeware for work. It's a 10 minute walk from there, off the Broadwalk on a side road on the left on the way up to the tube station.I had a lovely dal soup with chapati, then chicken sag with raita and a garlic nan and a couple of beers. Good fare all round and very reasonably priced.Chatting with the owner it's a long established business and the quality of the food is testament to that. Well worth a look in if you are in the area or have a hotel stop over and fancy a trip out.

This restaurant is in Manor Park Road Edgware and is always offering good deals for sit in during the week for lunch and Sundays for Lunch and Dinner. We always order Take Out and always go for the Korma Lamb and Rice. We love the friendliness of the staff and from time of ordering normally takes less than an hour to arrive at your door if you are within the radius for free delivery. I have tried the tandoori chicken and have had the Korma as aforesaid and have enjoyed both dishes. Am not very adventurous and always tend to stick to the same dishes. I have made a promise to myself to try and vary and next time will definitely go with los of friends for sit in and order variety of dishes and share .....See you soon Curry Centre

We have only recently moved into the area and were extremely happy with our take away from the curry centre! The staff were very helpful and delivery quick. The food was fabulous and portions excellent size! One of the best indians we have used with! Will 100% order from them in the future!

Food was ok not to my preference, I don't think it's good for those who eat Indian food regularly and know how certain curries should taste. The service is fantastic I just wish the currys had a more authentic taste. Don't get me wrong it's not terrible it was ok . Price wise costs were fair for the name of the dish but for me the quality was not there

As said below you cant beat the quality and vfm on sunday and weds banquets....aside from that they do a dish called chittagong king prawn..made up name i am sure but simply mind blowing....very good shaslik as well

buffet budget night - sun. £11 for pretty much all you can eat and you wont eat it all unless you have teenage boys with you! food arrived swiftly, hot and tasty. very helpful staff who prepared a non-asian dish (requested in advance). staff were very efficient and obviously were very famililar with regular customers.friendly and very pleasant. nothing was too much trouble for them to cater for our table of 10. would recommend.

Just had a takeaway from here, my husband ordered a madras which had absolutely no spice to it & my Bhuna was watery & tasteless. Such a disappointment used to be lovely years ago. Wouldn't recommend at all.
