Went to cuccinis for breakfast. 2 adults and 2 children was £47. The omelette is 4 eggs but because it was for a child the waitress suggested we get a 2 egg omelette but still charged full price. No refills on coffees, 2 decaf teas was £5. 2 orange juice, 1 small breakfast, poached eggs on toast, 1/2 an omelette for a child, 2 toast with sausage and hash browns. £47. Very over priced. We will not be back.

This is a place for great coffee and great cake, really lovely staff and spotlessly clean, would definitely recommend!

This was our first trip out to a cafe after lockdown and we expected changes. We purposefully sat outside and gave ourselves more time than usual for a quick bite to eat.The cafe looked welcoming and had a constant flow of, what looked like, local customers, so we were confident in our choice. There was a cheery greeting and the staff were friendly and approachable. The garden area is accessed via a few uneven steps, so not for those with mobility issues. Flags and teacups hung from the trees, but the space looked tired and in need of a lick of paint on the furniture and play house.Prices are steep, but not so bad if the value is found in the portion size. Not so here. The panini was thinly filled and not hot as advertised.Waiting times were a puzzle too. The (tiny) place was not even half full, but we waited 20 minutes for a coffee and 45 minutes for a panini. Questioning the waitress just resulted in a promise that it was on its way.Next time, we'll wait until The Bistro opens for lunch across the road.
