Cross Keys in Powys

Called in with my wife for a meal on the way back to Welshpool on the spur of the moment. I opted for the fillet steak and my wife chose the sirloin both with pepper sauce. Both meals were cooked to perfection and the staff were friendly and helpful, will be back again

Lovely quaint pub. Cosy atmosphere with log fire burning. Good food at reasonable prices. Not open Mondays and tuesdays

Paramos aquí mientras pasábamos en el camino de vuelta de una excursión de Navidad.Nos recibió una chica encantadora detrás de la barra. Ya que tenía una gran fiesta en el restaurante nos dijeron que esperar para comida. Esto no fue un problema ya que no estábamos apurados.Mi esposa una que tenía el estofado de ternera especial que era una maravilla. Patatas fritas eran bonitas y crujientes como a mí me gusta.Los postres también estaban muy bien. Con un montón de crema pastelera hizo un gran acabado de nuestro almuerzo.Sentado junto a la chimenea también era bonita.

Lovely beer garden, lovely ale, lovely open fore when cold and great comapny, dog and walker, cyclist friendly.
