Staff behind the counter, were pretty abrupt and rude Disinterested in customNow I’m sorry for using the place to eat. I’m even more sorry to help keep the place going!!!!This is based on several visits. Not just one.Last visit ( probably just that), was the straw that broke the camels back!Food, was better. Absolutely disgusting, chips cold, fish very very dry must have been sitting there all night, can't believe they still charged full price!!! Phoned up to complain, and was told he was sick of moaning, visitors never visit this place, go to Melrose, never go wrong there.

My order was cancelled after telling them I would spend my money els where because of a 3 hour wait for my delivery despite being told 1.30 hours ago it had left the shop.Your spending the last of your money and just just eat you will go hungry for days till your money is refunded using this place

Ordered our takeaway 5.14pm given a estimated delivery of 6.10pm then changed to 6.25pm which isn't a problem we expected to wait an hour however by 6.55pm no delivery! Contacted the restaurant to be told our order was just to be made up and should be with us in 20 mins!. Food arrived eventually at 7.30pm with the exception of the kebab which was only warm everything else was cold! As if it wasnt bad enough to wait more than 2 hours for our order to be delivered when I opened the door to take the delivery I found a child on my doorstep no more than 8 years old handing over my order and saying sorry it was late!!! Why is there a child delivering my food? There was an adult I could barely see in the distance watching the food being delivered! What kind of service do you operate with a child delivering food to strangers especially in these unprecedented times where we are in a pandemic? I am appalled by this and find this totally unacceptable!

Worse food i have ever ate...greasy tasteless...they should be embarrassed taking money for this slop...staff look like they could do with a good wash too...stay away

dropped my daughter at this takeaway so she could run in and order herself a Hawaiian pizza. Didnt take that long waiting outside on her before she was out and back in the car with her pizza . Got back home which is about 7 miles away and my daughter runs into the house to enjoy a nice hot , fresh Hawaiian pizza . Turns out its a chicken , mushroom and mixed pepper pizza . Thanks for wasting £8 of our money on this piece of crap guys , its truly appreciated. # try taking yourself to any other pizza shop and ordering a Hawaiian pizza so you can clue yourselves up on what's actually on one . Wont be back and will diss this place to everyone who ever mentions the place to me.p.s really enjoyed watching your delivery driver stuff chips into his mouth like he hadn't eaten this month then head off to deliver someones takeaway.

Wondered if there was a potato shortage. Mean with the chips. Have reviewed this place before and mentioned this, but obviously they have not taken the hint. Other MAJOR fault. It's cash only. They don't accept cards !!! Not acceptable in my book.

The food was disgusting undercooked the chips were hard in the middle service was fair but not outstanding, shop looks like it could do with a good clean and the rude man behind the counter needs a lesson in customer service wont ever be back in there and would not recommend to anyone...steer clear

I went in for my order which wasn’t even ready when said to be. To top it off my order is wrong and I phone them to get an attitude down the phone when I was only asking if I had maybe mistaken what I said. No need to be like that down the phone. Won’t be back

Yesterday after very hard exam, we gathered in one of friends home. he ordered donner kebab from Crollas. it was fab n everything was fresh. the only thing was that the cola was a little hot so that the staff was very sorry about that. it was my first experience to eat Crollas donnar n definitely order again.

I order via the Crollas website and got a delivery time of 18.10 at 18.45 I phoned to ask where it was and they said they hadn’t received my order even though I had received an email confirmation and had paid for it, they took my order again and said it would be out ASAP, I phoned again at 19.45 when I still hadn’t received it, told order was on the way, with no apology. I am really disappointed at how long it has taken to receive me order.

Had an Amazing Meal in here with my co-worker on my last trip to Galashiels, the ambience, the service, and the food was awesome, i ordered chicken pakora and co-worker went with naploetana pizza, i didn't tried the pizza but pakora was excellent!all the folks were very warm and kind, keep up the good work

Ordered Breaded fish, nicely cooked. Chips and curry sauce, curry sauce came in separate tub which is a must. Also had a pizza which could’ve had more sauce but that’s just personal preference and I’ll make sure to inform in future. All my requests were followed on note left. Really couldn’t complain will be back! All food Was Piping Hot! Arived 30 mins early on a Friday ! Tipped the Gentleman doing the delivery! ( £3 ) quality service.

SHOCKING DELIVERY TIME. took 2 hours 8 minutes to deliver burger and chips! 50 minutes later than email time. food was not hot either. a free bottle of coke doesnt cut it. they have just lost a loyal customer!!!

food was delivered over an hour late so in total we waited 2hours 25mins!! food was cold and some of the order was missing. absolute joke!!

Requested a cancellation of order as delivery time was over an hour later than expected. After calling shop was told would be a further 20 mins before leaving shop. No update to time or being informed. Would not use again

2 hours for delivery then it's 45 min added on that and still not here

Don't have your food delivered better to go and collect.

I have to be honest ton the “homemade” steak pie, I could have wiped out an elephant with it, it was so dry, really disappointed as it’s my favourite part, the meat was nice, 3/5....won’t be having that again. the rest of my order was good.

The food was OK...though my chicken kabob had no sauce and way too much salad. By the time it got to me everything was luke warm and the pita was soggy. The worst part was the time it took. I ordered at half 5 and the app said I'd have to wait 45 minutes. The restaurant then added 15. They were 5 minutes late. So for a kabob and chips an hour and 5 minutes. Not good service.

You pick sauces that don't get added to the meal. I also clicked for a 7 inch pizza, which again did not appear or arrive, on phoning was advised they would speak with the delivery driver, and heard no more! Not sure if app has an issue, but response not great either

Walked into the fast food shop to get a take away the girls were really nice to talk to but pisqual and the manager were really nasty i had to return my food as it was soggy and minging only to be talked to like a peice of dirt as if it was my fault when they made the mistake and the sauce was so watered down that it just absolutely made the food cold and soggy every time i have been 3 times in total the food was cold and hard clearly reheated food wouldn't advise anyone to go there as it is a fast food takeaway that is run by poor management that have a if you don't like it don't come back they diddnt even apologise to me either

As usual 45 minutes late again and my chips were freezing. Won't be going back

Stuff is cold and to wait another 15 mins on top of delivery then to be a further 20mins late isn't acceptable especially when the food is cold

Burger & haggis supper was fine but fish was tough & dried out,even though I asked for it to be freshly cooked.

Food was freshly cooked & piping hot. Delivery time was very quick indeed. Food arrived no more than 15 mins after we ordered!! Full mark's all round!!

absolutely shocking with the delivery. phoned them up to ask about it and still waiting for an apology. Due to them not coming in time, didn't get to eat due to having to go away.

Wasn't impressed with the pizza...was dry and tasteless! Seemed as if it had been cooked a while ago, sat to dry up then heated up quickly

Food was perfectly cooked & hot when arrived. Only thing that let them down was that the food arrived late(again!!!).

I called 10 mins after deliver time had past. The person who answered either played dumb or did not listen/understand me. She even asked what i wanted to order. I advised that i had paid for food and was waiting for it. She said it was coming. I asked' what is it with the driver? She said driver yes and proceeded to repeat me with a yes at the end. I recieved no apologiese from this person or the driver.

Overall the food was great and freshly cooked. I ordered the munchy box and was told an item from it was unavailable so was offered a substitute item which in was happy to accept in place of what they didn't have. What really annoyed me was the fact they had the nerve to try and charge me extra for something I know was worth less money but I told them if am having to pay extra I will not pay my order and leave and they soon changed their mind then. Its not on whatsoever and in was extremely disappointed in way I was spoken to.

Siento decirlo, pero fue absolutamente horrible. . Las patatas fritas eran demasiado fríos y sabía horrible, el kebab de carne era demasiado peal y la cantidad de ensalada intentaron cubrir la pequeña proporciones de alimentos. . No es un gran lugar para comida rápida siento decir. . .

Food arrived on time but food quality was terrible. Food was dried out & chewy. Think it was leftovers from yesterday!! Did ask for it to be freshly cooked but request seams to have been ignored!!!

Really enjoyed food but usually a long wait, a good sign if they're busy but if they're busy maybe hiring another delivery person would help. Enjoy the food & the couple that deliver are always very polite & happy!! 👍🏻

Love the lasagne and the smoked sausage wrap from Crollas. Lovely food from there all the time.

Will never use again. 15 minutes after order was supposed to arrive, phoned asking whereabouts. Was told order was just leaving the shop at that stage and would be "just a couple of minutes". 15 minutes later I phoned to see where the order was, because I'd been told it was a couple of minutes away I was told "well when I told you he was leaving with your order I was telling the truth". At this point I said I was unhappy with the service, my order was over half an hour late by which time I could have made my own dinner. Rather than apologise I was given a "well that's not my fault" response. Neither me nor my family will be eating from Crolla's again because of their ridiculous waiting times and terrible customer service.

Got the right order but put the wrong extras in both wraps

pretty average chip shop. food tends to be overdone and hard because it sits to long on the hot plate. I was ill after eating so have not been back since

50 mins was added onto the delivery time which is understandable if they were busy but took an extra 35 mins on top of that so didn't get food until 9.30.

Was very disappointed took 2 hours to be delivered, finally received it for food to be just like warm.

Only gave 1 star as wouldn't let me give 0. Two hours late when I phoned up and was told it would be another half an hour. When asked why they hadn't been in contact to tell me it was going to be so late he said he was too busy to phone. Awful service and awful sloppy cold food when it eventually turned up. Not the first time but certainly the last. Appalling.

Chicken pakora kebabs were great. Plenty of delicious chicken. I like getting tub of chilli sauce on the side. Chips were good too.

Delivery times are ridiculous ! My previous order was later than the time given and yet again for this one I have had to phone to find out it's yet late again by another 20 mins so in total 1hr 50 mins for a delivery. Will not be using again, no 3rd chances

Added an extra half hour to the original Just Eat delivery time, then no delivery arrived half hour late from the takeaway confirmed time, so I phoned and politely enquired if I was getting my order. Was abruptly told they were busy and it would be another half hour or so. If truthful about orignal delivery times I could have made my mind up, but hate poor customer service when I'm paying for the pleasure. I cancelled order and won't be using again. Pity because pizzas are normally nice, but deliveries have been really slow recently.

It didn't deliver, if i didn't phone them up to ask them to deliver they probably wouldn't of even delivered it at all, previous service has been fine up until this point, it shouldn't matter if they are busy, the fact i ordered 1 hour before it was scheduled to be delivered, and it arrived 40 mins late after them adding 10 mins onto the delivery time was a huge inconvenience as i ordered this as i thought it would be a painless way to order. Almost made me feel like due to the fact they were so extremely late with their delivery, made the food cold either on its way here, or they didn't even bother to heat it up right because i phoned up to tell them that they were very late.

Kids hamburger meal is a deep fried hamburger. What is that all about? My child was expecting a burger in a bun. I didn't plan on giving them heart failure with a deep fried burger. Meal went in the bin. Garlic bread with cheese was dry. Sliced baguette with some cheese melted on top should be simple enough. Bland and again went in the bin. My meal was chips and cheese. It's hard to mess up chips and cheese. The chips were nice enough but just cheddar melted on top. Usually places give a mix of cheddar and mozzarella which adds to the flavour. On the plus, collection time was accurate. If I didn't have a new born baby I would have returned to the shop to return the food. Therefore I have not spoken to them about how unhappy I am with the order.
