This takeaway/convenience store serves excellent kebabs and pizzas, which are prepared/cooked to order, so there can be a wait of a few minutes. For some reason, the takeaway side of the shop is cash only.

We used Criccieth Kebabs the other night and were blown away with the quality! The pizzas were incredibly generous, chips were lovely and the chicken was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. Service was quickly and friendly and the place was spotless, we will 1000% be coming back when we are next here!

Best shop in Wales. The pizzas are absolutely amazing and the owner is an absolute legend. Would highly recomend Cem will always sort you out.

Called in whilst on holiday & all the chip shops had shut,as after 10pm & this place was open till 11pm. Strange set up,was inside a shop,take away on the left & the shop (mini supermarket) was on the right,had a doner kebab & my Hubby had a shish kebab,both really tasty & massive portion size,they did other food as well,pizzas,burgers,chips,nuggets. Parking on road,right outside.

Great place with good food and friendly staff. Can really recommend it! We had a meat Joghurt dish, some turkish pizza. Both great! Very friendly place. You get tea for free in the end.

Food is delicious, we have had all sorts from this kebab, pizzas, chicken kebab, chips, nuggets, burgers and they have been unreal. My partner was so happy with the salad with his chicken kebab and said it was the best he has ever had especially the red cabbage, it is the only kebab we visit and absolutely worth the 25 minute drive from our house and worth every penny. And bonus is only a minute drive from the beautiful criccieth beach!

Great little business model. Charges £2 cash back fee in the shop and £2 each for an extra topping. Ordered a meat feast which came with little to no meat, same consistency of tomato sauce and a heap of tasteless cheese. Also ordered hot and spicy chicken wings which again didn’t taste of anything. When it comes to payment, faced a stern questioning when I didn’t have “change”, my apologies for not being a mobile Royal Mint. Been suffering on the toilet since 8ish. Avoid.

Me and my boyfriend came here for a pizza while on holiday in Hafan Y Mor, and really enjoyed our pizzas. Fresh, tasty and very filling. Enjoyed with a view down at the beach only one minute away in the car.

Lovely kebab was had from here both dinner and chicken . My only slight issue wa stage donner meat could have been a little hotter.

Don't waist your money. Did a telephone order which was told about 20 mins ok that's good.On collection was waiting ages very busy only to find when it was our turn to collect our bag of food, it was sat on the top of the counter for how long I don't know.When we got it home no surprise was practically cold and no sauce they had forgotten to put it on so not only cold but very dry.

Used this place before, partner had a Donna kebab, I had a small pizza. All cooked fresh to order, took about 10mins. Good portion size very tasty and very good value. Will always use them again.

The kebab was very nice however I wouldn’t recommend the pizza, the cheese was unbelievably chewy, I couldn’t eat it. They definitely need to look into changing this!

We eat here regularly when we are on holiday in Criccieth, the shop itself is very clean, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious, the garlic bread with cheese is the best we’ve ever had!! Just ordered a big order, everything was cooked perfect, hot and delicious, we can highly recommend. 10/10!

Criccieth is a quiet Welsh village at the best of times, and after dark even more so, therefore your choices of takeaway are quite limited.One Chinese cuisine, one Indian cuisine, one chippie, one pub grub and then Criccieth Kebab for everything else.It’s a bit of a strange set up, basically forms part of the local convenience store we even bought scratch cards and milk while we were there!, Everything is cooked to order right in front of you, so no problems there, and the cooks are friendly enough.They were under a bit of pressure when we called in, everything seems to close early compared to more urban areas, so it’s either beer or food at 10.30pm and that night everyone seemed to choose food!Pizza was good, kebabs were tasty and cooked shish style on a bbq grill which is my favourite way, many combo choices available. Chicken and lamb shish was great, but people who had the kofta really enjoyed theirs. Small meals are exactly that, anything under a fiver you will probably be looking for a top up later, the larger portions although excessive in price (over £11 for the house special kebab) were not huge, we found the kebabs in the 7 to 8 range to be the best value for money.Would we go there again? Yes, it’s not perfect, but it’s your only choice for this type of food and it’s not too bad at all.

This is a good takeaway. We rang our order I through and we collected it 20 minutes later. The Pizza was tasty and well cooked. We also tries a doner kebab. A chicken kebab and a lamb shish. No complaints.

Ordered a takeaway whilst staying in Criccieth and opted for a Pizza. It was tasty and fresh and very reasonable. Would use again when in the area.

Southern French wine night was very good to the extent that the courses were tastefully presented and the individual wines were excellent and presented with authority and knowledge prior to each course. The significant let down was the absence of table cloths and material napkins given that this was a special event. More significantly was the poor quality of glassware in which the wines were served. Riedel glassware would transform an evening of this nature.

This is a takeaway that seems to be quite busy, they have a large range of kebabs and pizza. The meal I had whilst being reasonably well cooked did for me lack somethings in its salad part.

Ate from here twice while we were on holiday great food all cooked fresh and not to expensive. Kids meals good value and plenty in them.

You have to try the pizza. Absolutely wonderful, loads of toppings and inexpensive. Lovely staff too.

It’s ok it sells kebabs, chips and pizzas, set in very grubby store (shop working example of why high street is struggling in places) Shame they can’t take cards, just cash, wonder why that is? One of those places that only survives due to lack of competition and distance from major conurbations. It’s average.

Used this place 2x last week Tuesday had burger and chips , partner had large donner and chips . Thursday had pizza & mixed kebab . The portion size was very good / taste was good / price was very reasonable, everything was cooked to order so very fresh. Only a 10 minute wait. So next time in the area will use them again.

We use this Kebab shop when we are being lazy and want a quick snack/meal though we do tend to stick to the excellent chicken kebabs or pieces. It is the ONLY Kebab shop my wife will use...YES she is that fussy!! We have never been let down!

After a long drive our group looked for a place to eat the only place open was this. Absolutely disgusting, I was so hungry looking forward to pizza how can someone mess up pizza!? It was burnt horrible bland just a big mistake and worst of all came to over £16 for rubbish. NEVER AGAIN!

Sometimes pop in here to get a donner keebab pizza or just a donner. Staff are friendly. As its a spar too, its tooooo tempting to get a bottle of wine while waiting.

Great kebabs which are freshly cooked in front of you. Odd layout being a convenience store and takeaway but does mean you can get beer and food at the same time.

Visited Criccieth for a few days. Thought we would try the local kebab house. We had 2 of the mixed kebabs (chicken, shish, kofta). All were cooked well and tasty. Sauce was just enough and didn't overpower the meat flavour. Portion size is reasonable. Shop was very clean and is inside a grocery store.

We visit Criccieth for a week once or twice a year and always come here for our takeaways. The staff are great, always remember us which is nice! The place is spotless, hygiene is brillaint-always clean gloves for every new order etc. The pizzas are without question the best I have ever had. Love this place!

Once you get over the surprise of finding a kebab counter in the middle of the grocery shop, it becomes clear that this is a good place for a quick and tasty take away meal. Our doner kebabs certainly had plenty of meat in them, and they were prepared with care rather than having everything chucked on as with many past experiences. Not at all greasy and very tasty.Visiting here rescued our position on a couple of evenings when we failed to get meals elsewhere due to indifferent organisation at places we wanted to dine at.

Really visited criccieth with my husband and my family for an holiday. After a long drive we decided to have a takeaway went walking into town and it was slim pickings however we stumbled upon this place.It's a strange set up its half a spar and half a takeaway. Quick trip advisor check and thought oh well let's just try it!We wasn't disappointed! Everything was made fresh in front of us. Staff really nice.We were given a free bottle of pop as we had spent so much.When we got it back all was extremely happy with their food.Would highly recommended!

Excellent kebabs of chicken and shish, Donna meat and chips very nice, not sure why they have to spray the salad with water, you just get a puddle in the tray, just ask them not to, pepperoni pizza very nice too

Great Take Away... food is nice and fresh, really tasty and great portion sizes. The staff are very friendly. Best thing is how hygienic it is, staff are always using new food prep gloves when handling food and never handle money then touch food. Spotlessly clean. A real gem

I say surprisingly because there's always something a little 'guilty' about going for a kebab these days with all the negative associations with big drinkers and unhealthy lifestyles. However, I have to say that it was all top-notch and the owner said his staff marinade the meats in spices a good 24 hours before they're cooked, the proof was in the flavours !

I am originally from Leeds, West Yorkshire. I have been to Criccieth a number of times and I went to Criccieth Kebabs for the first time last week. In a nutshell, your service, cleanliness and the quality of your food and meat is brilliant. As im indian, im very critical about eating out but i have to say for the first time in very ling time, I give your outlet 10/10, hands down. Your in my top 3 fast food outlets in the UK. A late night visit about 30 mins before closing time. Mixed kebab and donna kebabs were cooked to order. All cooked ok and enjoyed.

I visit this establishment on a regular basis. The reason being not only does the food taste good but the staff are so friendly. Nothing is too much hassle for them. I would certainly recommend the food here. Yum yum can't wait for my next visit.

Always delicious food from the pizza to the cheesy chips! Even when I get awkward and ask for something that's not on the menu they always do it no questions and with a smile. Very clean and always enjoy what I order there.

I have partaken in a couple of kebabs and the odd pizza in my time and I must admit that the ones from this shop are top of the list. Not only is the food fresh, well prepared and reasonable. It is genuinely tasty and satisfying. Add to that, the courteous staff I ask you, what more could you want in a kebab shop? Well, there is more. The owner, what a bloke. Welcoming and accepting of anyone who walks thought the door. He also has a fantastic mane of hair unlike any other which puts many to shame. It is worth popping in just for some banter with the owner, but while you are there you should grab some food and promptly put it in your belly and order some more. Nom, Nom.
