Cresswell's Cafe in Pembrokeshire

Lovely, friendly service. We came for a coffee and were tempted by the lovely homemade cake which went really nicely! Very welcoming and dog friendly - our dog was spoilt with treats!

Personeel was heel vriendelijk en snel. De koffie was echter teleurstellend net als het broodje. Cappuccino was geen cappuccino te noemen maar meer slappe koffie met melk. Het personeel maakte het nog wel een goede ervaring.

What an amazing experience…went for lunch today with a friend and we were both very pleasantly surprised. The place is lovely clean and cosy, the staff are very friendly and helpful our food was served in good time and looked and smelled amazing with the taste even better! Could not fault anything her at all, superb. We will be back in the near future definitely. Thankyou for a wonderful lunch. A well deserved five stars and if I could give more I would.

Called in yesterday on the hop for a late lunch, my wife had a tomato & cheese panini , myself a sausage and bacon bap with a bowl of chips. Well presented and very tasty. Warm welcome for the staff , we would recommend visiting.

My husband and I always look for somewhere to eat that serves good food and this little café did just that. It was lunchtime, however, my husband had the Scottish breakfast, which completely filled him up for the rest of the day. Freshly cooked, well presented with a jovial side of sarcastic wit from the delightful chap serving behind the counter. Egg, bacon, sausage, tons of mushrooms, beans, haggis, black pudding, toast, and above all, filter coffee, which you can’t really find these days – it usually comes out of a machine. That got an extra star from my husband. I had a tuna fish sandwich, and was happily indulged with red onion on top. This came with a healthy side of coleslaw, a little salad, and a big handful of Doritos style chips. I would have preferred ordinary crisps, but this is just a personal choice. I certainly wouldn’t criticise anybody for this. I had a cappuccino which was served really hot and tasted delicious. We left via the beer garden at the back, having discovered it when I used the bathroom. We will definitely go back for an evening meal and sit outside when the weather allows. As we were heading towards the car park, a couple asked us for directions and we pointed them towards the beach via this café. I hope they took us up on our suggestion.

Great little town centre cafe. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. Quick efficient service. Nice coffee and amazing breakfast... gluten free no problem... vegetarian breakfast includes cheesy chips... fantastic... something different at last. Extremely good value... coffee or tea included in breakfast price. Outstanding.

Proper cafe, good prices, quick service, lovely food. Manager is a hoot and a proper character, worth going just for the banter. I deffo recommend the breakfasts and follow on Facebook for their amazing event nights

Wonderful! Excellent food, service and ambiance. Alan, Judith with their staff were fantastic. We had our Christmas meal there and everyone had a great time because of the attention to detail.

Visited here today for lunch. Ended up having the breakfast, very nice. Good selection of food with a Scottish breakfast on offer in Wales. All Table service which was nice and friendly staff. The owner was very friendly and the locals all loved his humour, lovely atmosphere. I noted they had a full bar and they did evening meals on weekends. Food came out very timely. Good location in town with the public car park at the rear. Nice decor and plenty of space.

Fabulous little cafe! Dog friendly, great food, friendly service, quick serving, nice decor, clean and tidy. All in all a great spot and well worth finding. Public carpark just around the corner too. Tickled us to find a full Scottish breakfast on the menu in a corner of Wales, but it was very nice.

Stumbled on this place for breakfast whilst on a recent long weekend in the area! What a find! We made the most of the weather and enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating area, although the inside was also lovely!! The breakfast itself was quick, delicious and reasonable! We returned that evening to enjoy a couple of cocktails which were also fantastic!! Our highlight was the owner - a credit to the establishment with a great sense of humour!! We hope that Cresswell's has a bright future ahead and that we'll be back soon!! Diolch!!

We were in the village as had to get our tyre changed and collect a sign from the wonderful Abersign. Soooo, I suggested that we pop into Cresswell's for a cuppa.Well over a year since we last visited. Off we trotted to Cresswell's and were greeted like old friends..super nice people here I tell you. :) We were invited to sit in the garden, which was really pretty with the flowers and an interesting table that we loved. Infact, now the other half wants one in our garden! Anyway, we didn't have to wait long at all for our 2 lattes. They were a lovely size and nice and creamy frothy. Went down a treat. Everything was really set up excellent for Covid times and plenty of sanitisers around and all staff masked. We had to sign a track and trace which was good too. Thank you so much for making your place a pleasure to escape to for a while. We will be back.

A good menu but as a group we usually choose two things (not necessarily on the menu) which are then cooked for us specifically. If we don’t like either choice we can have something from the normal menu and pay that price.

Cresswells cafe is a family owned cafe on the golden mile of fishguard. A small place with a huge atmospher. The food ranges from light bites to large portion meals the staff are great always greet you with a smile and hello. The banter with the staff and customers is always a laugh and you will never be alone in this cafe. You entre a stranger and leave as a friend. Plesent, friendly, and always making sure that you are happy.

Visited Cresswell's with friends. Fantastic breakfast. It clear the locals visit here which is always a great sign. The owner Alan is full of energy and adds to the character of this cafe. Parking is very convenient, public car park to the rear. The kitchen is open so you can see what being cooked. Well worth a visit.

as a vegetarian, the vegetarian breakfast is really the only option from the menu. it comes as small or large, and I don't do small! there is a great deal of it and it is very edible. not for those wanting a healthy diet! the staff are very friendly and service is fast.

Cresswell's in an unpretentious, good quality Cafe in the town of Fishguard. We arrived in the town at the start of a long weekend visit having driven for a couple of hours and were in need of good coffee and a snack. We were able to find a comfortable seat, we received a very friendly greeting. The subsequent service was efficient and also helpful as my partner's arm was in a sling at this time and she needed some assistance with the condiments , opening jars of preserves etc. The coffee was of a very good standard and the toasted teacakes were generously sized, fresh and delicious. Had we not been staying in self catering accomodation we would certainly have returned to sample the comprehensive breakfast menu on offer.We will certainly call again the next time we are in this part of the World

Can highly recommended the toasted samdwiches and today I attempted the club sandwich and what a feed! triple decker sandwich of chicken in mayonnaise served with bacon lettuce and tomato which I was able to substitute for cucumber thanks to Lorraine for offering... comes with side salad and a massive amount of chips just lush! Lured into the café by a menu that promised us what we were looking for, a hearty lunch. We decided on the amazing baguettes, and were not disappointed. Our host was cheerful and funny and saw to our needs with enthusiasm. We were delighted with the baguettes, they filled an extremely large gap and kept us going for the rest of the day. I loved the brie, so tasty and left not even a crumb. Proper food!

We liked this little place. I had steak and eggs. The eggs were fresh, and especially tasty. Probably from a local Welsh farm. The steak was juicy and flavorful. Perfectly cooked medium rare. Plenty of chips, not greasy. The coffee freshly brewed. Friendly place…looked like quite a few locals that come there often. Everyone seemed to know each other. Gave off a good vibe. Good prices too..!
