One of the best Ice Cream parlours I've been to, with unique flavours. A must try for anyone who likes Ice Cream. :)

I Always call here for a coffee and cooked breakfast when visiting the area. Very nice food and Staff! Very clean aswell!

Old style cafe, good service. The ice cream is the best, and only available there. Still Italian (or should I say Sicilian?).

Having read about their ice cream we went in to try it. We travelled from Somerset to visit family and were not disappointed by the quality and taste of the ice cream. The taste is superior to Joe`s in Swansea and we will be visiting again.

My parents in the 60’s took us to cressies as a child which was amazing treat, when I had children we did the same, especially for ice cream especially the chocolate one they loved it. Unfortunately I took my grandson there so absolutely wasn’t worth it. The chocolate ice cream was disgusting bitter they couldn’t eat it neither could can I , not smooth but had bitter bits in it , one mouthful was bitter . Even from the van when Skewen fare was on. So expensive also. It has lost what they’er father has achieved all these years . Definitely won’t return .

Wish I'd taken pictures of my Sunday lunch & Ice cream . I had turkey & hubby had beef , nice thick slices of meat that were moist & well cooked roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, swede , carrots ,peas, cabbage & stuffing , lovely thick gravy that clung to your meat & veg .Dinner was £14.95 & well worth it .we had it delivered the week after & there was so much in the box you could get 2 dinners out of it .Ice cream Sunday was delicious, best Ice cream in Neath .

The café was nice and quiet when I arrived with my mother and sister. We had milky coffee, and my sister had bubblegum ice cream. We enjoyed all of it. The staff were nice and accommodating. The seating was clean, roomy, and stylish. The chairs and bench were comfy. There was interesting furniture and items, like an old picture.

I have been going to cresci's cafe for vanilla ice cream for 70 years and it is one of the few things that hasn't changed. I is as good as when I used to eat it as a child. I love it.

My son and his 3 mates went here today to have icecream and get out of the heat. After they had ordered, they were told they were to get out and were not sitting inside,not one sign to state this. I phoned to question why apparently they were 'too loud' and not with an adult ( he said he wouldn't put signs up as he assesses them when they order) This is wrong. You discriminated against them because of their age. If you are not happy for them to sit in, tell them before you take the money from them. So frustrating to stereo type all young kids the same. Such a shame there are still the older generation around like the owner that is clearly an abnoxious old so so! I did swear once (which i regretfully apologised for) when I phoned as he was showing his arrogance during the conversation, but to make it sound worse the other end he kept repeating stop swearing, I will never step foot in here again, and i have told my children the same. (They have been regular customers and would have been throughout the summer too) Not all teenagers are the same, just like not all older men are as rude and judgemental as you!

Absolutely the worst cooked breakfast I've ever seen on a plate and my partner found hair on her toast, which was the end of my eating 🤢. Also very expensive. At £17 for 2 breakfasts, NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Went for Sunday lunch. They brought 2 wrong meals before serving the lunch that was ordered...even though the tables are numbered. Price of the beef dinner has increased to £12.95 and the dinner was smaller than usual with no Yorkshire pudding. Very disappointing. Either put your prices up or reduce the portion sizes, not both

Ive had ice cream in so many countries! Nothing beats crescis so underrated! Much better than Swanseas rival ice cream by leagues!! I come here as much as I can!!!

Cresci's has been in business for over 100 years. I missed the first 40 of those but first visited in the early 1960's as a young boy. I have always enjoyed the ice-cream here. It is made 'in-house' and to me has not changed one jot. Although a Skewen boy, my visits to South Wales are all too infrequent these days but where there a visit to Cresci's is essential. The cafe has not changed much, layout seems the same but old wooden chairs, wooden table with formica tops, smokey atmosphere (mostly Woodbine and Players No.6) metal coups for ice cream have now all gone! These days ice cream as ever, good basic cafe food and confectionary, drinks etc

Rubbish breakfast, cheap sausages and the hash brown tasted like it was fried in diesel.

Omg! The cooked dinner reminded me of my nans cooking from when I was a kid. I couldn't recommend it more. And we've tried most places in Swansea. You guys are absolute legends 🙌🙌

Good food friendly customer service

Popped in as we often do for a cuppa and a bacon roll. Plenty of filling with lovely soft rolls. The coffee is superb.

Very poor service waited 20 minutes for a bacon sandwich in witch time my coffee was cold the cafe was not even that bizzy they seemed to only want to serve teas or coffees its not that they were short staffed far from it

Absolutely terrible the cup was unwashed and the fork they gave me had all dried beans on it and when told about it didn't even apologise avoid at all costs

Average priced greasey spoon cafe that also serves homemade dinners. Does what it says on the tin. If you want a reasonably priced run of the mill cooked breakfast, then this is fine, but if you're looking for good quality, locally sourced food etc, then you're going to be disappointed. As one of the only cafe remaining in the centre of Skewen, I was hoping the coffee would be good too - but it was really poor. Dreadful in fact. Given how well-known this place is locally, it really should be a lot better. Overall a big disappointment.

Went for breakfast this morning ordered 2 standard breakfasts with coffee sat down a few minutes later the young girl fetched our toast over about 5 minutes later I had to ask for our drinks about another 5 minutes later our breakfast came out to say it was on the small side the sausage slimmy and the bacon you could not cut it was that hard they forgot our black pudding the food was just luke warm they then fetched out a side plate of hash browns instead of the black pudding the toast was freeing cold one of the worse breakfasts ever don't waste your money

Here for breakfast. The food was basic and the greeting lacked any friendliness. Food was delivered quickly and with a smile, but overall I couldn't recommend this place for breakfast based on this visit.

It is over 60 years since I had my first Cresci ice cream and it is as good today as it was then. A fabulous family business that excels at what they do. I hope to be back for another dose before too long.

Have always gone to Cresci's since I was a child. The best ice cream and the cafe is always clean with a quick turn around, fond memories of the ice cream van up at Skewen park too.

Went there this morning for breakfast and it was terrible.£10.50 for biggest breakast and then charged me £1 for a mug of tea which was this smallest mug iv eva seen.i think i was the mug for going there.shame really as its been there a long time and i can remember it being a top place in skewen

This place has had a refurbishment, looks like an American diner and is very nice to sit there. I had an ice-cream with black cherries and I must say it was delicious. Staff always on the premises and some are quite friendly. Would i go back. YES!

Exceptional ice cream, especially for a village. Been going hear for years and love their unique ice cream flavour which are made in house and is owned by Italian owner. They also offer cafe type food which is good quality and priced very reasonably. There's also parking across the side street for easy access via car too.

The breakfast is very minimal, the food is very overpriced. The ice cream was supposed to be very good but wasn't so special at all. Staff wasn't welcoming at all. Disappointing and very expensive.

Best icecream you will ever have, the vanilla is the best of the best as its the original flavour they did but in recent years have made other flavours.

Won’t order again. Pros- good portions of vegetables and gravy ( tasty to be honest). Delivered on time, very friendly delivery person! Chocolate sundae was lovely! Cons- food arrived freezing cold, the smallest scraps of lamb I had ever seen. Three tiny slices of meat, gone in one mouthful. Waste of money. All in all, almost cost 30 quid, I personally thought I wasted my money. If you like cold food and your a vegetarian this is the place to order from

Everytime we have a party in skewen, me and my son call here on the way home for icecream and coffee. Most of the time to take away but we missed the bus today and sat in. It's always very clean and the lady who served us was so lovely. Their all lovely there. Very friendly and helpful. Their coffee is very moorish.

My first time in Cresci 29/01/20 and it did not disappoint at all. Ordered a breakfast a paper and a magnificent tasting coffee, was really impressed with the friendly staff and quality of the food, very clean throughout, (even the toilets) Will most certainly be returning here and I would highly recommend this cafe if you are in the area.

Excellent service. Wide range of products and food.

Organised chaos. I know it gets very busy but not my kind of place. New agency customers queueing with restaurant customers or customers just wanting an icecream. I’m sure some people enjoy it as it’s quite busy on a Sunday lunch time. But not an enjoyable experience I’m sure something could be organised better so diners aren’t standing in a queue waiting for people to buy papers, mars bars etc.
