Super nettes Personal, kleines aber feines Café mit gut schmeckendem essen. Wir haben haggis probiert und es hat super geschmeckt. Gerne wieder.

We walked into Invergordon from our cruise ship. We admired the murals in town and then decided to have coffee. We chose the Crazy Horse because we loved the humour of the sign in the window suggesting people spoke to each other rather than using phones. There was a well designated pathway to follow around to the counter where we ordered delicious homemade shortbread to go with our drinks. The service was efficient and friendly.

Visited with my partner and two kids at lunch time on a Saturday. Lady who served us was very friendly and helpful to us and everyone else in the restaurant at the time we were there. Food was all good. My partner and I both had a small cooked breakfast. Ingredients were good and cooked perfectly. Kids both had toasties which they enjoyed too. Restaurant was very clean and obviously well kept. We couldn’t fault it and will no doubt return again. Thanks very much!

The last cafe we visited prior to lockdown was the Crazy Horse.I am pleased to say nothing has changed since my last visit A quirky little cafe with a good range of snacks and light lunches. Prices are reasonable, service was friendly and we enjoyed our cuppa and snacks. All Covid regulations appeared to have been adhered to. Recommended

Quaint and quirky don’t always go together but it does here. Stopped for a coffee while waiting to look at a house in Invergordon, staff are friendly and diligent, tea cakes were lovely and warm and my latte was delightful. Shall certainly be coming back in for another.

Neil Young would be delighted at the name of this quirky little restaurant. From the minute you are greeted by a ferocious looking carving of a bear at the front door, to an array of pictures and ornaments inside, you know that the proprietor must have been a Western fan. There was a great selection of breakfast and lunch options on the menu. Service was quick and friendly, prices were reasonable and we both enjoyed our lunch. Your food order must be given at the counter and the restaurant does not accept payment by card. A very enjoyable visit to the Crazy Horse.

Hubby and I popped in on Tuesday for a quick cuppa. The girl was very friendly and service quick even though she was the only one serving at the time. Coffee and tea, plus a big portion of 'To die for Chocolate gateaux' with cream and an empire biscuit came to just under £7! Will be back.

Five of us had lunch at this little gem while on a cruise ship visit into Invergordon. While the place is small with limited seating when a ship is in town, the scones are the biggest I have ever seen. You might consider sharing the deliciousness. We had a variety of lunch selections off the menu - soups, toasties, etc. and each of us enjoyed our meal. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

This is a small cafe/restaurant in the High Street of Invergordon. My visits (2 now) have been on cruise ship days. The staff are efficient and unphased by the number of people coming through. The decor takes you back, but the service and food is top notch what perhaps should also be referred to as good old style service to match.Food is great and plenty of it.The continued stream of people means that the food is always fresh. Great spot for a good quiet coffee.

Stopping in to a local eatery for a quick bite is usually not a noteworthy event, but when you are treated to the best potato and leek soup you’ve ever had, it bares mentioning. The service is attentive and the decor is simple. Be forewarned bring your own cola-they only carry Pepsi Max. They do carry a local beverage called Iron Bru that’s similar to Fanta Orange.

I've been to the crazy horse numerous times now and each time has been great. The food is top notch as well as the service. Always greeted with a smile and the staff go all out for you.In regards to Adam C's review on the 22nd May is totally out of line. I don't think farmfoods sell homemade soup, scones, cakes etc lol. Granted all stock has to be bought from somewhere but I think it's highly unlikely the owner does his weekly shop for his busy restaurant in Farmfoods. I've seen him buy milk but come on, he's not got a cow out the back of his establishment. I'm also struggling to identify what Adam C means by the food tastes of frozen news???And with regards to the no Wifi, I love that idea. Nobody sitting glued to their phone on social media, people actually chatting face to face for a change. Adam C your review is unfair and pointless.

Crazy Horse has been established on Invergordon's High Street for many years now and offers wholesome meals as well as coffee and cake ( my personal downfall). Malcolm and his staff are welcoming, very friendly and accommodating and as well as fast service they are always willing to go the extra mile to offer visitors to the town advice on places to visit and things to do.There is no problems for anyone with a disability as there are no steps to negotiate and fully accessible toilets. No WIFI access but as the sign in the window says "talk to each other". Personally I enjoy the tablet and computer free environment.

We visited here today and popped in for a coffee and cake at lunch time. The cafe is pleasant, warm and the staff are friendly. We had hot chocolate (definitely recommended), a latte and a slice of the sponge cake. Although my husband had ordered the cake and jokingly said I wasn't allowed any to the lady who served us, the waitress brought two forks and gave me a wink. Just the right attitude to have!!! It was all delicious.I have to say we were very jealous of the soup, sandwiches and paninis that were ferried past us on our visit to other diners. Everyone seemed to be tucking in and having a good lunch. Kind of wish we were going that way again. A great little place for a cold, bright day when the cockles need warming.

We stopped in for a morning coffee and were greeted by a Very unpleasant manager we were told (before we were even asked what we wanted) to "keep our children under control for the sake of others" we had just sat down the kids hadn't said a word yet and there was no one else there at that point. We left and went elsewhere. I thought this was very rude and will not be returning. He might as well have a sign up in the door saying no children. Shocking.

As a group of four, dampened by the local weather, we chose this cafe by its name. It reminded me of the bar in Arizona. The staff welcomed us so warmly, the manager was ready to chat, what a cheerful place on that grey day. We only wanted a warm drink; the supplied real coffee and tea variety was served quickly and tasted as good as any we have had in city chain venues. I learned from the manager that though the cellar could not be used for dining due to the access, it added to the delight of the location. The full breakfast supplied to a neighbouring table made me wish I had not eaten earlier, it looked just the job.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a delightful day at Dores Inn, and I still find myself reminiscing about the experience six months later. Nestled along the shores of the iconic Loch Ness, this charming inn offers a perfect blend of stunning views, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely ambiance that sets the tone for a relaxing visit. The inn has ample seating, both indoors and outdoors, making it easy to find a cozy spot to enjoy the picturesque scenery. We opted for an outside table, and it turned out to be the best decision of the day. The views of the loch were absolutely breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for our meal. Speaking of the meal, I must rave about the food—simply sublime! I usually find coleslaw unappealing, but Dores Inn's homemade version was a game changer. It was fresh, flavorful, and complemented our dishes beautifully. Every bite was a testament to the culinary care that goes into their offerings. After our satisfying meal, we joined a Rib-Boat journey on the loch, which was an exhilarating way to experience the surroundings. The thrill of speeding across the water, combined with the breathtaking views of the loch and its mythical charm, made for an unforgettable adventure. As a memento of our day, I couldn't resist purchasing one of their handmade crochet teddies of Nessie. It's now a cherished keepsake that brings back fond memories of our visit. To wrap up our day, we took a leisurely walk along the shoreline. The tranquility of the loch, coupled with the stunning natural beauty surrounding us, was the perfect ending to a fantastic day. Overall, Dores Inn exceeded my expectations in every way. From the lovely atmosphere and great views to the delectable food and friendly service, it’s a place I highly recommend. If you're looking for an exceptional day out near Loch Ness, don’t miss the opportunity to visit this gem. I still think about that wonderful day, and I can’t wait to return!

This was a lovely experience, the food was not ' swimming in grease' as i saw from another review, but it was great to see that the more recent reviews have been validated. We went here for my birthday at the end of october and honestly everything was really lovely . the service was great they were so friendly from the getgo, the charcuterie board we had for starter was very filling and diverse just wish they would have told us what the cheeses were ( i think the brie was from tain though it was familair) but thats a minor niggle that we had no info. the main courses were fab the skin on chips were AMAZING , and its a dog friendly place which we loved , we dont have dogs but we did get to pet some which made our day !
